Sinking his first shot. And that’s what they want to do. Get him open looks early. You know, when you think about how the Mavs play defense. So much depends on how they defend the point of attack. They’ve got great rim protection and rotations, but if they aren’t stopping penetration, it’s tough. Getting up and then throwing it down. Oh, that was a big hammer right there. The most consistent attack on offense so far has been the mid-range jump shot. We’ll see if they can keep that rolling. And you know, in no time at all, they’ve also started finding points inside already taking apart that interior defense. NBA scoring has been climbing over the past decades. Grant, is the league too offensive at the moment, you think? Well, we know that people like scoring, the fans, players, everyone. But the league needs to make sure there aren’t hamstringing defenders too much. So, I think allowing some more physicality incentivizes the defender to defend. And now we have competition on both sides of the ball. On the court for Dallas here in the second, they’ve got Williams and it’s Hawkins in at the two. And the officials whistle a foul on the shot.
