Okay, setting up the scene after the first summer league game for Khan Canipple, the fourth overall pick, a pretty divisive pick with Khan being selected there with Ace Bailey on the board. Trey Johnson, a lot of people were fans of Trey Johnson. He’s been killing it in summer league. So, pretty divisive pick. Khan goes out there first summer league game, misses every shot except for a wideopen dunk. All right, that’s that’s nice. Two-handed dunk off two feet showing that you got some verticality. Bounce back game
At the end of the day, if you believe in LaMelo/Miller as your centerpieces. Kon is the right pick period. Even when Tre ends up a better player long term. The only way Tre is the pick is if you donโt believe in one of the other two as a centerpiece

Kon is a chief reason why the Hornets are one of only two teams in the NBA who have never made a conference finals. Kon will be a decent role player, you don't pick role players with the 4th pick. I thought we learned this lesson when we picked MKG over Beal, Barnes, Drummond. Or when we picked Kaminsky over Booker….the cycle continues….
