What’s up, Arsh? I don’t think so, Nathan. I don’t think we’re going to see him at all until preseason. I mean there’ll be the you know the they might have that scrimmage you know That Jai broom for Philadelphia was pretty good. He’s sitting. Thing is is no one’s playing. But thank goodness for Cody Williams, right? That’s been a fun story. It’s something Well, guys, let’s see. Cody has been a nice surprise. At least he is actually being aggressive out there. Um, it was between Keonte George and Isaiah Kier, Walter Clayton and Isaiah Collier, or Keiante George and Walter Clayton Jr. Guess who the majority chose. I think Cody is playing tonight, Jake. Keonte George and Walter Clayton Jr. That was the top pick 40% although a close second at 38% was Walter Clayton and Isaiah Collier. So I may uh put this post up while we I think that’s probably the other option that I forgot to add. I was like, is is this the one? four-point shot. I would honestly comp him to like SGA. It’s not completely like SGA. SGA is so crafty and has that kind of mid-range game and kind of works. Peterson is like three-point line extended, but also goes in. He’s so fast, so athletic. He can dunk over anyone. He’s got explosive ath. He’s just everything you could want. And I don’t know. It’s hard. You got to be careful of the comps, but he’s got Jordanesque body and physical tools and skill level. Now, he’s not going to be Michael Jordan, obviously, but he looks awesome. I wonder, Nathan, I wonder if they’re telling Tanji they’d like to see him drive. Okay, Cody. Oh, yikes. Well, this is showing the value of Isaiah Kier, I guess. There we go, Cody. That’s See, that’s what Cody’s been doing so well. It’s when he’s driving, he’s doing great. Oh man. That was bad. Bad defensive laps. All righty. I gotta watch some of this Nick Clifford tape. Apparently, he’s been really good. I think the Jazz only have one game after this. I think it’s like the tournament, but I just this is the team they’re going to roll out because I don’t think Utah’s interested in winning cuz they want to go home. Uh Josh Hollen Horse, is Isaiah still your starting two guard or the last two games with Cody Williams killing it? I think my opinion is that I want to see Clayton start at the one. Want to see what he can do. I think he has a chance to be really nice. So, let’s throw him into the deep end of the pool and see how it goes. Then at the two, it’s that’s the question. Is it Keonte George, Isaiah Kier, or Bryensaba? Um, or Cody. You know, it might be Cody. I don’t know. I kind of like the idea of Cody Williams at the two. I think he’s shown enough with his driving and ball handling. He just isn’t struggling to shoot it, but Utah’s not too worried about winning games. Uh I think Cody, why not? Because I think Cody moves it better. Bryce Sensib is a great shooter, but I don’t know what else Bryce Sensib does well. Uh so Cody brings the defense, shooting, he drives. He Well, not shooting yet. He does a drive and shoot game. Oh, that was Tani with the miss. Okay, Tani, that was goalend Tan. Is that how you say it? Um, so let’s How about that? I think I’m pro that uh just I think it’s either Sensa or Cody at the two. Yeah, I’d say because that’s the other thing is Sensaba turns the ball over so much. Yes, he’s an electric shooter. He really truly is. He also turns the ball over at a crazy rate. Well, I think I think Isaiah can’t shoot. Honestly, he’s shot it a I I don’t know. I guess I’d have to look at the numbers. It’s just I don’t know if Isaiah Collier can shoot. And not that Cody Williams can’t can. I’d like to see Cody Williams get I think Cody Williams can play off the ball better than Kier is what I’d say because I think he can he kind of fits that mold a little better. And then Cody’s shown us this summer league that he can drive. He can handle it like you guys said. He’s not turning the ball over. I mean, that’s one thing that’s probably not being talked about enough is like Cody had like only like two turnovers last game, played 36 minutes. That’s really good. That’s a really good low turnover rate. If you’re like the lead ball handler and you only had two turnovers, that’s really really good. People don’t realize that like 3.3 turnovers is a good number. if you’re like a 36 minute ball handler because you’re gonna turn the ball over here and there when you’re passing the ball that much. It’s just gonna happen a little bit. It’s just like but and so Cody being at like he’s done a good job. I feel like Cody’s really proven that you can trust him on the floor now when Cody can shoot the I I think Cody Williams has a real shot, guys. I really do. I think if you give him uh if he can get that shot to start falling, it might not fall this year, but maybe the next, then you got yourself a player cuz he can do a lot of things. Sucks. I miss living in Utah to watch. I haven’t lived there since 2016. I’m surrounded by timberwolves, bucks, and bulls. Yeah, Utah. Utah is better. See, here we go. My preference is to trade Lowry to get picks and clear this the four spot for Taylor Hendricks, but we’ll see what happens. I have very high hopes for Taylor Hendricks. EJ Harkless. You mean Elijah? And they also realized that Markin and playing actually does help them win game. Uh but uh this season it’s going to be just fun. And I do I just I think at some point Markin gets traded and Taylor Hendricks return. So it’s kind of like we get three players to watch that we didn’t get last year. freedom in the chat. We’re gonna see whoever the Jazz the what I think like what I know actually the Jazz are going to pick the best player available wherever they draft next draft regardless of who’s on the team and how they’re playing. The good news is that Utah can pick any of them and make it work. Like it AJ Debonsa and Ace Bailey to me are both threes, but I don’t mind one of them being at the four, you know? Like I think Ace Bailey can move over to the four. Uh Nate Ament is going to be like five or six in this draft. Maybe four. It’s crazy. We’re getting another stud. I need to look at NAT. Uh, don’t be surprised if the Jazz have Devin Vel and Harrison Barnes next season on the Jazz. Camboozer at the four would be so good. I don’t know if it like I don’t know if it’s like for sure that Camboozer isn’t the best prospect in the draft to be honest. like the most in the end like you’re picking the player that’ll help you win a championship and I think Camboozer can lead you very far. I mean, when you consider what the dumb Pelicans did to get uh Derek Queen and then Utah gets Walter Clayton with just three second round picks. By the way, I have such a hard time caring about second round picks. Like, I don’t know. I guess you could argue we got Philippowski. Oh, that’s right. He’s another player that’s going to play this year is Philipowski. another reason to trade marketing, but it’s just I don’t know. I’m not losing sleep over like a number 52 pick, you know, like whatever. You’re fine with Markin. It’s not like marketin’s bad. We know what marketin is. Carlos, Cameron, and Caden. It’ll be the Boozer family. They’d have to do What if they You know what? They could do literally like a reality show in Utah. The Boozers in Utah. Like, they could literally live with their dad. Uh, but what was I talking about? Oh, just dogging on the Brooklyn Nets. First off, screw the Brooklyn Nets social guy. Screw that guy specifically. You know who you are, Brooklyn Nets social guy. Always pissing me off. Uh somehow he always uh and I should not be a mad at a fellow team manager, but uh screw that guy. I’m trying to have more forgiveness in my heart. This for the SP Nation Brooklyn guy, I should say. Uh what’s it called? But they draft like five point guards. They draft Jaor Deman at eight, which was crazy. Why they didn’t just trade back with the Pelicans and then take Jaor Demon is crazy to me. Like why did why didn’t the Pelicans just trade with the Brooklyn Nets? They’re idiots. They would have given they would have asked for less than the than the Hawks, I guess. But they draft five point guards. None of them are for sure shooters. Uh they they trade Cam Johnson for like one first round pick. I don’t know. It was a tough it was a tough economy for trades this last off season. Which is why maybe you shouldn’t give $46 million to Lowry Markin. those, you know. Oh my gosh, the Philadelphia Phillies debut the Cold Play Kiss camp. You guys, I’m sure you have all seen the Cold Play video. Oh my gosh, Daniel Hley, we are one last bad season away from two superstars. 100%. What if like Ace Bailey is really good this year, guys? I think he’s going to struggle to start, but who knows? Like by trade deadline, I could see Bailey kind of finding a groove and figuring things out a little bit. Got to listen to Ace here. I can draft another guard, I guess. That Dirk fadeaway, guys, is so clean. That’s like a shot he can just get. Exactly, Daniel. Like that Dirk fadeaway could be a signature move, you know? Just the Dirk fadeaway is it’s unblockable for all of us that watch Dirk win that title. I mean, it was crazy. The Dirk fadeaway is up there with like the Kareem Abdul Jabar Skyhook. You know those those signature shots, I guess the Sombor shuffle with Yic or whatever. I’m so excited to watch this season. I can’t wait to watch that kid play. I tell you what, the WNBA has gotten pretty fun. They like they like fight more than the men do. It’s pretty great. I watched the playoffs last year. It was fun. What surprised me most about Ace was his ability to rebound. That’s right. That’s why I think you can put Ace at the four at times and it’s great. And honestly, Ace looks so much more versatile than I kind of expected. So yeah, you can move him around if you see like a mismatch. If you see like a kind of a not great defender at the four, you can move ace to the four. Just have him do work. And yeah, he’s got a good shot. So, he can play off the ball, on the ball. He’s got the dirt fadeaway. He’s got athleticism to drive. He rebounds. He has a motor. I think he showed he’s a little bit better passer than he gets credit for. So, I’m excited. It’ll be fun. Now, maybe he goes out and he sucks and it’s disappointing, which is certainly possible, but we certainly see all the tools are good enough for him to be something. So, we will see Colin Murray Boils today. 20 points, nine rebounds, four steels. Huh, that’s cool. Let’s hope Daniel. He’s our only other shooter, but he cannot shoot tonight. It was uh I got their just standard pepperoni. It was great. Um but I tried this one. It was like raspberry jam, blue cheese. um and bacon and it was like I don’t know. It was really good. Ready to Avenge. I saw some Twitter account that does superhero stuff said that like Mr. Fantastic becomes the leader of the Avengers against Dr. Doom. I was like, “Oh, that’d be interesting.” Apparently, Mr. Fantastic, the genius of geniuses. That’s kind of cool. I still need to watch uh Iron Heart. I want to watch that one. I guess uh Meisto is in that one. The new Tron. I need to watch the new trailer, but it looks cool. Neutron looks cool. I still haven’t seen F1. I I want to see that. I’m a big uh Brad Pitt fan. One of my favorite actors. I like Brad Pitt. I like um Oh, the one I’m so excited about. I’m beyond excited. It’s my favorite book. Project Hail Mary. Oh my gosh, guys. that book. If you have not read that book, it’s so good. And I especially recommend the book on tape, if you’re a book on tape person, oh my gosh, is that great, but we have to wait till March 20th of next year. So that’s a question. Who is the fantastic four of the Utah Jazz? I think just because of this draft and new management, you got to put Ace Bailey, Walter Clayton in there. Then I just want to I don’t care. I want my own picks. So Taylor Hendris and uh I guess Walker Kesler for me. Those are my fantastic four. Project Hail Mary Daniel is about this guy. I won’t spoil anything. Go watch the trailer. It’s the most viewed popular trailer that’s not a sequel in history. Uh, Project Hail Mary um is about this guy that wakes up on a spaceship and he has amnesia and he slowly gets his memory back and realizes he’s on a trip. He’s on a a mission to save the Earth. And it is so good. And there is a twist about 200 pages in that just turns the book into something completely else completely different than what you thought. I mean, if you watch the trailer, it’ll spoil it a little bit for you, but not a lot. But it is so freaking good. Like, it is my favorite book. No question. And I’m pretty sure it’s going to be my favorite movie when it comes out. The story is amazing. I cried twice. Twice I cried listening to that thing. Jazztastic for you got AC McGrady. That’s right.
