NBA Trade Rumors That The Chicago Bulls Could Get Involved In…

[Music] What’s going on everybody? Welcome into the Bulls Report. My name is Patrick Seman. Coming up on today’s show, be going over five trades that your Chicago Bulls could possibly get involved in this off seasonason and maybe when the trade deadline rolls around in February. But before we dive into it, I want to get a little creative with you guys. Um, who is your favorite Bulls player of all time? You can’t say Michael Jordan. And also I’m gonna say you can’t say Derek Rose on this one either. For me, I gotta go Joe Keem Noah, Nate Robinson was up there when he was coming off the bench. Carlos Boozer, Lu Deng, like that was the Bulls team under Tom Tibler I really fell in love with. But you guys let me know who is your favorite Bulls player of all time. Can’t say MJ and I also say you can’t say D. Rose. All right, so the first trade we’re going to talk about here is Anthony Simons. Now, the Bulls have been linked to Anthony Simons a whole lot this off seasonason. And it was originally reported that could be a Nicole Vuvich trade for Simons, but this latest trade idea we got from Sports Illustrated was the Bolds receiving Anthony Simons. And then they’re sending out Kevin Herder, Julian Phillips, and the Hawks would be attaching two second round picks and then uh obviously Atlanta would be getting Sam Hower in this deal. Now, originally when I saw this, I was like there’s no chance Boston would entertain this. like I’m guessing they would want to see what they have in Anthony Simons, but this would also allow them to get fully under the tack. So maybe they think Kevin Herder, who actually had a really good stint with the Bulls uh after that trade at the deadline last season, you also get two seconds, get a young athlete and Julian Phillips. So I would see a little more intrigued than I originally thought from Boston’s perspective. But from the Bulls side of things here, I would only be interested in Anthony Simons if the Bulls move off Kobe White because you would just have a, you know, almost a repetition of two players where Kobe White offensive-minded three-level scorer. Anthony Simons is just that. Now, Simons is a better athlete. I think it beat guys off the dribble. Um, it’s at a slightly higher level here, but I mean, if you would have Simons, Kobe White, IO, Josh Giddy, Trey Jones, like those are a ton of guards to have in that back court. It’s a lot of mouse to feed and a lot of shots to go around. So, the only way I would consider this deal, if it’s just like a follow-up move to like a Kobe White trade going somewhere, but if this is the deal and the only bull uh move the Bulls make, I’m probably going to say no on this trade. But, let’s also talk about another player that Bulls fans are pounding the table to trade. But, just want to throw that out there. Patrick Williams, him and that contract, it’s a negative asset. He still has four years remaining with $72 million guaranteed over those four seasons for a guy who’s a 9-point a game guy, mediocre defender. Like not many teams would have too much interest in him. But we did see this Bulls Bucks trade idea floated out there a little bit would be the Bucks obviously getting Patrick Williams and then the Bulls would be receiving Kyle Koosma. Now, the benefit from the bull side of things here would be you you’d be cutting two years off a contract where, you know, Kyle Kosma’s deal, I think it’s also a bad uh contract as well, getting 22 million this upcoming year and then 20 million the following. Only advantage here for the Bulls is you not have a guy on the books for 2728 28 29 on a bad deal. And maybe the Bucks try to take a flyer on a very young athletic wing who could be a nice complimentary piece. and next to Giannis. They would have a pretty good defensive core with those two guys. But Kyle Kosma, I would have no interest cuz this guy’s also going to put up a lot of shots and it could hinder the development of guys like Bzelis and Aseni where I would rather just keep Patrick Williams, have him come off the bench. Maybe eventually he could develop into that 3 and D player we thought he was going to be with the freaking fourth pick in the NBA draft a couple years ago. But again, this trade I’m probably saying no to it as well. Now, this is a deal I’d be actually interested in. And I promise you this, Bulls fans, Jerry Ryanorf, if he had to pick one or two players to bring to the Chicago Bulls, I think it would be Zion Williamson and LaMelo Ball. The number one reason why cuz they put butts in seats. He’s a very entertaining player and he would actually fit the archetype of player that the Bulls are trying to put around Josh Giddy. These very hyper athletic wings running on the perimeter. But what could a deal look like? This works out contractwise. It would be Kobe White, Kevin Herder, Zack Collins, and you would attach on that Portland Trailblazers 2026 first round pick. Now, this pick is lottery protected. The Trailblazers acquired Drew Holiday. They should be a feistier team, but I still don’t think they’re going to make the playoffs. And, you know, in terms of Zion, why would the Pelicans want to move off him? Well, they just drafted Derek Queen. Now, obviously, they play different positions, but they get similar looks in the flow of the offense where you’re kind of giving the ball in that LeBron area. they’re working out there where you know if you have Zion and Derek Queen on the floor at the same time that might be a tough fit and also they would have a chance to move off his contract 39 million this year then it goes up to 42 up to 44 and you know from the bull side of things I you always talk about finding that guy finding that true number one now obviously Zion with the injury history him not staying in the best shape he hasn’t lived up to that but still when Zion’s out there he is one of the more impactful players in the NBA again it comes on the health, but you know, we’ve talked about the Bulls taking a risk cuz let’s just say they take a risk on Zion, ends up not working out, he’s hurt for all of next season, you’re going to go get a top five pick. But if he ends up working out, then you potentially have that guy. So, I am all in on this deal. I understand you’re giving up Kobe White, um, Herder, two solid rotational players, and Zack Collins, and a first round pick. But again, that first round pick will probably turn into a second rounder in 2027. So, for Zion, I’m taking this deal. But again, you guys let me know. Would you trade for Zion Williamson? Give me a T for trade. Give me a P for pass. You guys let me know your thoughts down below in the comments section. I’ll make this the pin comment on today’s show. So, go down there and let me know your thoughts. Now, we got a sweet deal going on for you guys right now where if you guys want to get a Chicago Bulls draft hat today, make sure you hit that link in the second paragraph and the comment section of today’s show. I think these are freaking sweet. There’s no exact draft emblem on here, so you can wear this any time of the year. I actually really like the text on this hat. Like the all black look and you know, hey, maybe this uh you know, if Noah Sen ends up working out, you could say you have the same hat that he was rocking on draft night. So, make sure you hit that link in the second paragraph of today’s description and in the comments section. I’ll make sure to have that for you guys down there. So, click that link if you guys want to get a Chicago Bulls draft hat today. I think they’re awesome and uh trust me, you guys will as well. All right. So, the fourth trade we’re going to talk about, the guy who has been headlining every Bulls trade rumor this off season, back at the deadline, last off season, Kobe White. Now, I will say quickly here on Kobe. If the Bulls were a smart organization, Kobe White would have been dealt last offseason because I have a strong feeling he is going to get dealt before the season or at the NBA trade deadline. And it’s going to be the exact same situation that happened with Zack Lavine, Gamard Roen, Lonzo Ball, Alex Gruso where the Bulls hold on to these assets for a year too long. Then you trade him and you can’t get any draft capital for it. But a trade I would be incredibly interested in is a Dante Devanchenzo Rob Dillingham trade for Kobe White. Now the Timberwolves, they would like another scoring ball handling guard next to Anthony Edwards. They made that crystal clear. Now, they also probably view Rob Dillingham as that guy that could step up and take over that role, but maybe they don’t want to wait for him to develop. They get a more proven player who is ready to win now and Kobe White. And plus, with the well, where the Timberwolves are at, that’s a win now team. And Kobe White is way more of a win now player compared to Rob Dillingham. But I would do this trade in a heartbeat. But I also have doubts that Minnesota will not give up Rob Dillingham because they traded up in last year’s draft to pick number eight with the San Antonio Spurs, giving up a 2031 first round pick. I don’t know if they would just be willing to move off him after one season where he didn’t even crack the rotation. And he actually showed some great flashes in summer league. And why I would be interested in Dillingham is, you know, having that, you know, another scoring guard who could develop. He’s on a, you know, still on his rookie deal next to Josh Giddy out has some intrigue there. And then you also get another shooter in Dante Danchenzo. So I’ll do that trade in a heartbeat. But a trade that I would never consider if I was running the Chicago Bulls. And I am terrified that they might have some interest here. At least the latest reports are indicating that they might. Jonathan Kamika. And my message to the Bulls front office is simple. Don’t even think about it. You shouldn’t even have a conversation about this. When you’re meeting in those boardrooms and somebody suggests, oh, should we, you know, pursue a signing trade with Janna Kaminga? Absolutely not. because also he wants 25 $30 million per year to perform a signing trade. You got to send half of that contract. So, makes a lot of sense that Kobe White making 12 million or 12 and a half and then Jonathan Kaminga maybe signs for 25 that works out perfectly. But I would rather just have them focus on Bzelis and Asen developing. Um, you know, if you just add another player in that rotation at the wing spot, you know, then you would have Kaminga, Williams, Terry, Phillips, Buzzelis, Asen, that would just be tough for those guys to get more looks and just develop. And, you know, I saw some people talking about this on Twitter and the comment section if the Bulls should start Noah Sen. Now, obviously, he’s an incredibly raw prospect. He was the second youngest player drafted, but I would do it. I would start him immediately, throw him to the wolves, have him, you know, really get these high quality reps, go through these learning curves. And listen, if he struggles, if he’s shooting 35% from the field and he’s not playing good hoops, it may be a good thing for the Bulls because he’s getting those reps and you’re probably losing a lot of games, which again would be a good thing for this organization. But you guys make the call for me. Would you start Noah Sen? Would you throw out there maybe a giddy, Kobe White, Buzzel, a Sen Vu starting five? Give me a Y for yes or give me an N for no down below. Make sure you guys do hit that subscribe button on your way out. We appreciate all the support on the channel as of late. Um really want to say thank you to all you guys who have hit that subscribe button over the last month. We’ll see you guys next time. As always, go Bulls. [Music]

  1. First 🎉
The Zion trade is interesting. Yes he has a history of injury but in that same breath he has been working on his body and health a lot and has dropped quite a bit of weight. I also feel like all this scrutiny and criticism that he has gotten being in New Orleans has definitely been dragging him down to wear a fresh start in a new city could bring out a whole other level to his game and bring some passion, similar to what happened with huerter and trey Jones when we got them last season. Zion and Buzi together would be so entertaining
I agree, start noa. They limited how much Buzi play in the early parts of the season and that just makes it take longer for a player to develop and get used to the NBA level of play

  2. my favorite player aot is actually derrick Rose but If he is Out i would probably choose matas already

  3. Steve Kerr, John Paxson and Luke Longley all Great players that took the Bulls to the Championship games with out them Bulls only made the Play offs!! (T) for Trade Coby doesn't fit this team just saying..

  4. Dude clearly Scottie Pippen. We don’t need Simons, let’s go for actual upside in a star. Lets Keep Coby & Pay Giddey! Also, tanking for draft picks hasn’t worked and doesn’t work, ask the Wizards/Jazz/Hornets about Cooper Flagg.
