I think that the Cleveland Cavaliers getting Lonzo Ball is ridiculous, dude. I think that Lonzo Ball as a signing for the Cleveland Cavaliers is kind of crazy because again, I know that we have to play the win healthy game with a guy like Lonzo, but Lonzo is kind of the walking version of what they pretty much want outside of the fact that he’s not necessarily a natural three, but he is a natural 3 and D style point guard. He fits like in the similar mold of what we were able to see from Dyson Daniels last season, just a better three-point shooter, right? Lonzo Ball at as from a build perspective at what 6667 actually might be the closest buildwise to actually being able to step in as like a third guarding option for them and provide real defensive versatility. He’s a dude who who brings in, you know, more uh transition opportunity as well as a high level passer that pokes in passing lanes and then knows how to push the ball up court. He’s another ball handler, so that takes the pressure off of guys like Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland to have to initiate offense. He’s a really good decision maker. He knows how to play next to two star guards. We’ve seen him play next to Zack Lavine and Demar De Rozan in the past. We talked about this, I think, in the episode prior. The Bulls have to make these moves where they wait for a guy to go on the final year of his deal and just trade him for like a one for one swap. Last year was Josh Giddy. And I know people are going to say, “Oh, Josh Giddy actually looked like a borderline all-star at the end of of last season.” We saw this guy get like six to 15 minutes per game as part of the OK OKC Thunder the year prior in the playoffs. So, you could clearly tell that he wasn’t in their offseason plans. So, what did the OKC Thunder do? They got one of the most vital pieces to their championship team and Alex Caruso. And I think the Cavs are doing something as like a light version of this. I mean Isaac Cora was a freaking starter for this team just two years ago and exactly they like I mean they were using Isaac like to like to their wits end to the point where he didn’t even play basically in the playoffs for a lot of the time because he just couldn’t like shoot the basketball and the defense like that wasn’t really the focus here because you needed some more offense on the floor. What does Lonzo do? We’ve seen when he’s healthy and of course the caveat is always with Lonzo Bal if he’s healthy.
