Now, my immediate thoughts are is that after trading away Kevin Durant for Jaylen Green and some younger assets, why on earth would the Suns go after LeBron James, who is in his 40s, doesn’t have a long-term contract, you know, you currently and he doesn’t make this team better? Like, truthfully speaking, I guess, you know, he does make the team better. Absolutely. But what is the future for this team look like if LeBron’s on it? Like, it it doesn’t look very good. The Phoenix Suns are not a playoff team. They traded away Kevin Durant for a reason because they wanted to get younger. They wanted to get some more draft capital and go through a bit of a retool that way. And trading for LeBron James just makes no sense in my personal opinion. Now, there has been some speculation about Jaylen Green uh potentially being flipped by the Suns prior to the start of the season. So, that I do believe, but for LeBron James, that’s just not going to happen. Plus, if you’re LeBron, why would you go to the Suns? The Suns are, you know, worse than the the Lakers in my opinion. if he wants to win a championship, why would he want to go to Phoenix? So, I don’t see a world where LeBron wants to go to Phoenix or Phoenix even makes a trade for LeBron James. But in this scenario, the Lakers win this without a doubt. Like, they get Jaylen Green, a good young shooting guard. You throw him next to Luka Dantric for the foreseeable future. That’s a tremendous landing spot for him. Grayson Allen as well coming off the bench is a pretty good, you know, 3 and D player that every team sort of looks for. So, uh, the Lakers would be getting rid of an older, aging, expensive LeBron James and getting back younger, valuable talent that makes them deeper. So, without a doubt, the winner of this deal has to be the Los Angeles Lakers. But, as always, leave your thoughts.
