Suns Are Working On A Huge Sign & Trade!
just when you thought that the Suns were not going to make any more moves according to Gambo, who is almost always right. This isn’t a shot at him, but it does seem like this was one of perhaps the rare occasion, Sundo, when his prediction didn’t come 100% true because it seems like the Phoenix Suns are hot on Jonathan Kaminga’s trail right now, especially now that news dropped today. You’ve obviously seen the reports on Twitter by now that Grayson Allen and Royce O’Neal are essentially on the trade block. I think the Suns are probably taking offers as we speak trying to gather information and find out what exactly they can get for one or both of those players. And it seems like that’s happening because the day before they were talking to the Warriors about Jonathan Kaminga. I can imagine they told them, “Yeah, here’s what we would want from you. So go out and shop whoever you have to shop to see if you can get us the assets that we want in return for Jonathan Kaminga. So before we get into that though, hit the like button and tell us if you guys want Jonathan Kaminga cuz Sundo and I I think I can speak for him are both pretty interested. And then I guess the last thing we need to talk about before getting into Kaminga talk for real is still no Chris Paul. Gambo’s prediction of no Chris Paul is looking strong right now to the point to where I believe it now. Like I I totally believe it. I’m I’m past gaslighting myself that maybe Gambo could be wrong on this one. The Beal resolution has come and gone and there’s not even been a whisper about Chris Paul. He still favored himself to go to the Clippers. I don’t know how that’s going to work, but man, that’s how Vegas has it. I’m beginning to wonder if the Suns even care about getting another point guard on the roster or if what their attitude is is let’s just go after best available free agent. And I don’t have to really hate that this time around. I’m always clamoring and begging for point guards. I guess I don’t have to be that upset about it because this isn’t a win now year and I don’t think next year will be either. I do think the Suns have an outside shot of making the play and I think that’s where my hopes lie. All of that really leads to Jonathan Kaminga now where we were led to believe that the Suns were going to be done once the Beal thing is done. They would get a combo guard or a guard and it would be done. But it’s not done. They’re really going after Kaminga now. Where are you at with Kaminga to the Suns? Well, first let me go back to the to the Chris Paul point. I I do think that the Suns are still looking for a point guard. I know that we are looking on the outside looking at him being like, “What are you guys doing? Like, why do you guys just tend to not want one?” I still think they’re looking for one. I think that Damen Lillard signing to the Blazers, I think that’s really going to kick it off. It’s really going to start the market off. I think, you know, with him uh being available, he was the hottest point guard in the market. I mean, I don’t think we can deny that. We looked at the list and it was just not good out there. But him getting $14 million a year, I think sets a decent market for the Suns to sign whomever they want out of the out of free agency, I think we were looking at like the Brogdens of the world. I think you can now potentially get them for around that, maybe a little bit less and with believing that, you know, with a MLE or whatever, you can make that happen. I think that they’re still looking for a point guard. I just think they’re going to hold off on that. And now with a Damen Lillard signing, I think that does sort of give them an idea of what they’ll have to spend uh for one of those guys. So, I still think that’s an option. On to Kaminga though. I like the idea of Kaminga coming to the team. Um I like the the pro I like the prospect. I like his age. And as you mentioned uh earlier, like the Suns are going for maybe best available or can we put it this way? uh best developer, if that’s a word I can use. It doesn’t sound smart, but you know what I mean. Like it seems like they are purposely getting younger behind Devin Booker, and it seems like that’s the route they’re going. Uh Jonathan Kaminga is only what, 23 years old. He is a restricted free agent, however. So, it would have to be a sort of um if he does end up coming here, it’ll have to be like a sort of signing trade where where the Warriors will have to, you know, make a offer, wait until team matches it, so on and so forth. Like there’s there’s going to have to be that sort of situation. So, you know, or maybe we trade for him now and then we make that offer for him. But there’s still going to be some sort of finangling that’s going to have to happen for him. But as far as the prospect, love it. The size is not ideal for me and you personally, but we’re not the GM, nor are we the coach of the Suns at 67, 68, uh, 210 lbs. He that’s a little light for us at the power for position, but in the current NBA, as athletic as he is and long, I I think it would be a good fit. It seems like this is the move they’re going to go because when you look at the roster other than Nigel Hayes Davis and Rashir Fleming who we watch at summer league and we don’t think will be ready to start that that will be your starting power forward unless you put Ryan Dunn there and then you start maybe a Dylan Brooks there and go that route but other than that those are your only options at the four and so I could see why they would look for uh Jonathan Kaminga. Yeah, he’d be a clear upgrade as a starter. He like Jaylen Green gets to the rim. It’s another rim pressure guy that the Suns would be able to use and we all know they’ve been needing rim pressure forever. Not the greatest three-point shooter. He had a year where he averaged 37% but he’s hovered or in the low30s for his three-point shooting. To me, he’s kind of the opposite of Oso. It doesn’t have as much size, much faster, much more of a score, much more of a creator. actually has a good-looking jumper, can hit mid-ranges, isn’t relying on just around the basket stuff. So, it gets you a four out there who I think honestly could be a pretty good mentor for Rashir Fleming, you know, like they kind of fit as far as being closer in styles of play. So, he’s older than him. He gets to play in front of him. Maybe someday Rashir just proves his worth to the point that we’re able to move off of Kaminga and send him somewhere else and get some assets back. I think there’s a a lot of reasons why it fits there. I’m not scared necessarily to play him at the power forward position at all, especially with the size we have with Mark Williams and Common Match and Nick Richards and Oso. like we’re set when it comes to having size at the five position or even you know in some certain cases you want to go twin towers like you’re set and so yeah I agree the size for Kima is not going to bother me the athleticism is what you’re what you’re basically uh training for uh like you mentioned the ability to get to the rim that’s something that the Suns desperately needed so along with him uh Jaylen Green and and Booker you put shooters around them along with a big man like Mark Williams, Malawash, Nick Richards. I think there is a potential there to be uh one of those teams that we hated playing like remember when we used to hate playing the Magic and the Raptors just because they were just long and athletic. I think you have the potential to be that sort of team for teams where you you’re not going to you’re not going to be world beaters, but you’re going to be a tough out every night. So, I I would love to get I would love this for sure. I’m sure a lot of Suns fans memories are hazy on Kaminga because not everybody pays attention to other teams goings and comingings and performances of their draft picks and stuff, but if you remember he was taken with the seventh overall pick in the 2021 season. Jaylen Green was number two in that draft. Kaminga was taken not only before France Vagner who we love but he was also taken in front of Alprin Shenun who to me is probably better. So, I know a lot of people are down on Kaminga because they feel like he he doesn’t perform up to the standard of which he was drafted ahead of those players and seventh overall, but I think you need to take his stats with a grain of salt because he’s been playing power forward behind Draymond Green who is never ever in risk of losing his starting job. And as much as I’ve looked into Kaminga, I’ve come away with this feeling that I don’t think he and Steve Kerr got along that great. I think Kaminga was ready to play himself into a decentsized payday and the Warriors didn’t want to have to pay him a lot of money. They didn’t want a bidding war for him. They wanted to be able to control his contract on the cheap and so they didn’t play him that much. You know, I think that’s like what I see looking from the outside looking in. But once again, I don’t know this for a fact. I thought Bradley Beal was going to be good for the Suns, so don’t take my word for it. But I do like Sono that in the last couple of years, he’s shot up in points per game. His first couple years in the NBA, he averaged just a hair under 10 points per game. Last couple years, he’s been averaging 15 and 16 points a game. That’s a nice little improvement, and I’d like to see what he can do under a team that actually wants to utilize him and give him the minutes to grow. I don’t think he was ever really going to get that to the fullest degree in Golden State. Let me ask you this. Do you think that the Grayson Allen Royale package would be enough to sway the Warriors or do you think that they would be looking for more draft compensation? Uh we do have some first we can move. We have a first next year we can move potentially. I don’t like that idea. We do have uh two 2027 picks that we could move. As far as second rounders, we got two in the upcoming draft and one in 2027. So, we do have some uh draft conversation we can move to make this happen. But do you do you think that that would be enough to move them just those two players alone? We mentioned, you know, Kaminga is the younger guy. But I feel like with the Jimmy Butler trade, they have put themselves sort of in a position like we were where it’s like win now, win now, win now. We’ll take players that can shoot threes and and contribute. And as you mentioned, Draymond’s going to play. Kaminga is probably not going to put that many minutes in. You know, I mean, he’s only been putting in what, 20 20 26 24 a game for the past three seasons. So, do you think that’s enough for them or do you think they’ll want more? I would have thought that those two should have been enough. I would have made an argument that those two should be enough. We’re giving you two guys on very friendly contracts that are both 37% and up three-point shooters. Grayson over 40 most of the time. Very friendly contracts, very controllable and movable contracts as well. So, yeah. I mean, for sure cuz we are definitely taking on the risk of a kaminga where we would have to offer or or whatever. There’s going to be that situation there. So, yeah. I mean, I I would think that that’s more than enough, but this is the Warriors and they might try to be like, nah, nah, we might need more. You know what I mean? They may try to really try to, you know, put us to the fire on this one. That’s where I’m leaning because with the order of which the news has come out, it was the Suns are interested in Kaminga. Okay, the next step. The Suns are now shopping Royce and Grayson. So clearly they had a conversation and I’m sure if they’re willing to shop Royce and Grayson, either it goes the opposite way where the Suns are like, “You’re not getting both of these guys for Kaminga. We’ll break them up. We’ll go split them up and get some assets for them and then we’ll give you one and a pick.” or or it’s it’s the way that it probably is, which is no, we don’t want Grayson and Royce. Go out there and get us some picks. Or we we only want one of them. We don’t want both of them. Send us at least a first round pick on top of it or we’re hanging up the phone. So, I think it’s not going to be enough just to trade the two of them. Let us know what you guys think in the comments below. Thanks for hanging out and we’ll see you guys

Tbh idk about kuminga, can we afford to loose grayson allen or royce? And we have a great young core, imagine we have to give up someone like rasheer, mark williams, yk someone along those lines, i understand kuminga is a great player and would improve our team, however is he really worth loosing key and young promising players?.
I like these guys , despite their young age they have basic basketball knowledge that they readjust to today's basketball rather than a tainted fundamental knowledge that most podcasters have
Kuminga just give me ayton vibes on personality wise but idk if that money is worth it tho
Kuminga is an example of a good player in bad situation. He's worth $30m/yr. But Warriors cannot pay him, they got Steph who must retire a warrior, Drey too. They had to walk away from Klay and they are not going to do that again. So you got $120m tied up in two guys , and $50m to build a team, you cannot put $30m of that on one player
Only way is if we get Book in return lol. Not happening. Overpaid asf
Ben Simmons at the 4 is what we need. We need a point guard and defense out there in the starting 5 and that’s what he brings
Take it for what it's worth, but I know someone who works directly with Kuminga's camp and they claim he's a total idiot, Kerr hates him cause he doesn't listen, he and his agent are hard to work with cause they're stubborn (and owe a bunch of money for various XYZ services in NBA legal / admin) and the Warriors cannot see him on the roster. Nonetheless, I'd still want him on the Suns.
If the goal is to get him 100% does it even matter if we had to trade Allen & O'Neal for him? We need to make that happen and get Chris Paul . We could definitely be a playoff team at that point in my opinion. Maybe 8th or 9th in the West.
I don't think JK is the answer for the Suns. The front office finally has some money freed up, hopefully the can put it to better use.
Such an obvious distraction by FO to justify cutting Beal and having NO next move, this is going nowhere
Devin Booker
Jalen Green
Ryan Dunn
Jonathan Kuminga
Mark Williams
That’s pretty nice actually and the young guys still have unmet potential.
Why do you think it would work kaminga after you all just bullied Beal away! Plus what’s the point of bringing him!? If your all sayn this not a win now season! That’s just dumb! Isn’t every season a win now season! That’s the whole point of the game! To win you idiots!
Kaminga for what! It just be the exact same thing we had if Beal had gotten the chance to stay! Except Beal is much more reliable 3 point shooter and a more consistent and better decision maker! SMH!
I swear my fans base are dumb!
Oh and you thought Beal was gonna be great, yet we won’t know if he really was, without a ball hog KD out of the picture! Cus no one even considered giving Beal that opportunity to show what he can do with just he and Book! Smh! Instead y’all overreact and blame him for Matt ishbas and KD breaking the Suns team apart! Kaminga! Psh omg man! Why! Just makes no sense!
Ughhh geez my fan base and all these wannabe sports talk shows are like bunch of kids playing TV sports news guy! No real input no original content, just gibberish and pretending to know what they are sayn!
So sad!
Nonetheless! I have hope So Let’s Go Phoenix Suns!
Book is at his best when paired with a pass first pg. that should be the top priority. And over paying and creating even more positional overlapping to acquire Kuminga is not the right move. Not to mention Grayson and Royce are true 3 and D guys and that last thing you want to give to the Dubs.
No one wants kuminga bruh
As a Warriors' fan, I want JK off the roster…😒😒😒😒
I hope 🤞
If the Warriors could get Royce & Grayson that would be perfect for him. Kuminga is blah but I’d be pumped for the Warriors
Is kuminga really the guy to try to go out of the way to get? He seems pretty mid to me. Why are the warriors not trying to keep him?
yep want him
Soros and The Demonic Dems.
Most Dangerous Enemys of the United States.
How did Sus not get Whitmore- bro. Green for Foz?
As much as I think all three Allen, Royce and Richardson are very good rotational pieces. And we are probably a better and deeper team by keeping them. I would love to see all three of the rookies get as many minutes as they can handle. So I really only see minutes for one position, and that is point guard. Preferably a pass first playmaker to keep the ball moving and hurry the transition.
If they waste resources on this clown they will regret it. The new owner is a moron tho so it’ll probably happen
We have an Owner who wants to win and is not aftaid to make costly mistakes. Suns will rise from the Badly conceived Beal and soft charm in Durant seasons. Booker has “yo” to step up and be the guy moving forward or we have to move off him too.
Why won't they get Daymond?
Ty Jerome
Prefer glddey if we’re looking at young sign and trade guys, he’s a big guy that could play point and is a good passer
In my opinion, Kuminga is a 3 not a 4
