for Miles Miles. George was just saying he likes to talk trash. Does he Does he talk trash? Don’t talk trash. Jordan go at it, but you know, he don’t talk to me. Why not? Is he know better? Like what what I know better. Miles, what’s it been like playing with Amari and having a big like that who can initiate the offense and then find you on those cuts? It’s exciting. You know, I love playing with a big man that can pass. You know, he loves the pass for us. He’s a great player, great big man to have on our team. Um, I’ve been having a great time being on the court so far. Thoughts on Jordan the journalist? Jordan’s not a good journalist. He should try. He should stick to basketball. He’s a great basketball player. I don’t know about being a journalist. I like the windmill. That’s he should stick to basketball, you know. Put the phone down, bro. You know, but you know, Jordan, I’m trying to be athletic like Jordan. It’s good to see. Miles, how is being your experience like with so far? I like playing with him as well. You know, everybody on this team, you know, I’m pretty familiar with Jordan and Baylor, but you know, the new guys, Max, you know, I’ve been having a great time with him on the court, off the court, uh, you know, trying to try to, you know, build chemistry, but, you know, so far, I’ve been having a great time playing with this team. Miles, is there a player currently in the NBA that you’re looking at as far as modeling your game? I’m sure it’s not just one person, but through having some examples of guys that you were like, I could carve out this kind of role in the NBA. A couple guys um shooting wise, you know, Michael War, but you know, athletic play defense over time. Um my player coaches have told me, you know, watch those two guys. And then defensively, I try to watch, you know, Robert Cine defensive playmaker. Uh so, you know, those three guys I try to watch a lot, you know, not really emulate my game, you know, try to watch them take some things down. Uh, obviously it’s great. You know, my my third summer league. Um, first one with Boston. Um, I’ve been having a great time being in Vegas. You know, see a lot of fans in there. Um, you know, every year I have a good time. I just like the acclamation, you know, um, pretty good pretty accent. You know, like I said, this is my third year. I mean, I’ve learned a lot my first first and second year. Um, since I’ve been a lot, I try to take some things away because got a lot of new veterans on that team. So, I feel like once I got to take a big step, you know, I try to watch how they prepare, watch how they come into the gym every day. And I feel like, you know, they’ve been setting the groundwork for a few guys. Miles, uh, Max is pretty quiet on the court. Doesn’t show the motion. Does he like that off court in the short time you guys? No. No. Max, um, you know, he’s probably quiet guy on the court, but, you know, you just got to get get to know him, get to talk to him. You know, he’s a good dude. um doesn’t really speak much on the court, but um very great high character guy, great player to have in and then obviously the heat game, Jordan got ejected there. He showed a lot of pencil. What was sort of the bench reaction? Like were you on the court for that? What was the team’s reaction when you saw Jordan getting hyped up? You know, you know, he gets he gets competitive. Jordan’s for sure competitive player, you know, I know that. So, you know, he’s always ready to go, ready to play hard. So, I mean, I didn’t really have a problem with it. You know, just got to stay levelheaded for the rest of the game. M before summer league training camp started, were you spending time working out at the Hourback Center and like what has that your offseason been like prior to like this part of it? Yeah, for the most part, you know, I’ve been in Boston working out with all the coaches. Um, you know, the younger guys been there in Jordan. Um, so, you know, we’ve been working out, you know, every day. Um, every Sunday or something, we’ve been going hard. Um, I enjoy being out there in Boston, uh, working with the coaches. I feel like that’s the best place for me to be the summer. uh you know just to get ready for the season. Who are the main coaches? Sorry. Who are the main coaches that you’ve been working out with? T Lash N we got a lot of you know most around most all the coaches are on the bench with us you know work out every day. So Miles just thoughts on Drew Peterson signing with the Hornets and did you reach out to him after that happened? Yeah, for sure. You know that’s my guy. You know I’m excited for him. You know hate to see him go. You know I’m excited for him in Charlotte. you know, it’s good good for him, good opportunity for him. Um, but you know, I try to reach out to him, talk to him.
