NBA LIVE! Los Angeles Lakers vs Milwaukee Bucks | July 20, 2025 | Bucks vs Lakers 2K25 Live
Kumbbo then it’s Gary Harris and it’s Pon and at the point and for the Lakers Ruy Hatchima out there with Aton then it’s LeBron James then there’s Donic and it’s Reeves in a two guard. [Applause] You know, Greg, when you look at these rosters, both teams have lots of quality players and very deep benches. And with the pace we see in games, it really helps to have more legs to run. Each of these benches have a lot of options. So, it’ll be interesting to see how they play the matchups. And so, the Los Angeles Lakers get the first points of the ball game. Here’s Harris. It’s held in by Los Angeles. It’s stolen by Harris. Uses the glass to finish the way. The inside game of Harris continues to get better. He’s effective at finding spots inside to score from. And you love seeing that great mobile one drive a second time. It’s all about the ability to get two feet in the paint, whether it’s creating for a teammate or for yourself. Now here’s LeBron. And it’s sent back by Turner. And he gets it back. And it’s eightton missing. [Applause] Here’s Porter. Two free throws coming up and they call the shooting foul. Porter able to throw the whistle there. This is such a dynamic score and playmaker. You know, when you think about the all-time greats in Milwaukee Bucks history, I mean, two names come right to mind at the top of the list. Lu Al Cinder, also known now as Karim Abdul Jabar, and Giannis Antmpo, the Greek freak. [Applause] [Applause] Free throw good. Porter Clark. Both Kareem and Yiannis Tumbbo are great in their own unique respective right, aren’t they? Yeah, I agree with you, Kevin. I mean, forces of nature, both of those guys. Kareem Abdul Jabbar with the iconic and unmatched sky hook, which was a lethal weapon. And then Giannis Antompo. I mean, you think about his athleticism, his speed, his ball handling skills at 7 ft tall is something we’ve not quite seen. Both of those guys have similar impact in their uniqueness and their championship caliber mindsets. Now, Giannis after LeBron’s three-pointer that didn’t go. out to turn from outside the arc. That shot is off. So, Los Angeles will take it the other way. Pass to Donic. [Music] First shot, first pass. He’s on the blocks fast. Well, that’s a real key for Don, Tony. When the three-point shot is dropping for him, his guard ability goes off the charts. Now, here’s Koosma inside and he let him just run into it in rhythm. Anj passes to Reeves. Here’s James. Lakers working the ball around now. knocks it loose. Down to five on the shot clock. Here’s Hatchimal. Pulls it in. And here’s Giannis. He’ll bring it up for the Milwaukee Bucks. And foul on the shot. So, he’ll get a chance at the line. and a player opt out for that’s after this season hoping to earn himself a raise looking to his game and take that next step as he’s just entering his prime [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] The first free throw is good. You know, you think of the Lakers leading up to LeBron James joining them. This was a team that struggled for relevancy and even during Kobe Bryant’s final seasons there, they still were a little below par for the Lakers. Hazy’s checked in for LeBron. And both free throws good for Koozma Clark. As you recall, the Lakers had missed the playoffs the last few years leading up to LeBron James actually joining them. And you know what, Kevin, they missed it in year one of the King in LA as well. Some of that due to injury, but nonetheless, not part of the playoffs. Despite the bubble title, it’s been a challenge for LeBron during this time of the Lakers. last year. Extremely frustrating and sure they want this season to be different. Lakers shooting their first free throw at the line for the Lakers. First trip to the line in this one. DeAndre the eight taking two shots. [Applause] shooting two. [Applause] Free throw drops for Eaton. One of my favorite eras in NBA history, Clark. The 80s Showtime Lakers. Man, I played against those guys. Thankfully, it was just twice a year cuz we were in the Eastern Conference. But those dudes were unbelievable. Magic running the point. Kareem still playing at a high level down low. Worthy finding his stride and finishing the break. They didn’t just win titles. Showtime had a flavor that was fun to watch if you weren’t being run out of the building by them. Harris outside. three-pointer. The Lakers with the rebound and there’s the pass to Reeves. The shot’s good on the assist by Don has got six points. Don taking pride in setting the table for his teammates. I love his unselfishness. Here’s Porter. Nice D from Donic. Boy, he has to put that one away. A solid opportunity going to rock kicks to Donic. Back to Himura. Over quarter. Hatchiman. No good. Boy, he’s got to be kicking himself for failing to make that shot. That’s money. quarter passes to Turner. Harris looking it over. Yiannis inside. Aton’s there. Yeah, he just flat out tricked that one. Missed it and has no one to blame but himself. Oh, and HS. Oh, and the lead gets bigger on a ridiculous offensive sequence. That dunk alone would have been spectacular. Never mind it coming at the end of an alleyoop. Boy, I tell you what, they’ve got this team just a step away from being completely sleep. Now here’s Andumbbo. Nothing yet on the scoreboard for him. [Music] Here’s Reeves guarded by Koosma. Pass it to Donic. Here [Applause] is against Hatchimic [Applause] outside over quarter and it’s Donic missing. Bucks trail by five. Some tough offensive sets. They want to turn it around. Yeah, right now you just need a bucket to get something. I’m not sure what he was thinking about with that pass. just sailed it right out of bounds. And looking at that replay again, just a big time block right there. Boy, he is all over that shot. I mean, had his red the whole way, got himself into position and then was able to make the play. Lakers have gone four of 10 shooting the ball here in the first quarter. [Applause] Pass to Hatchimal. There’s the triple. Milwaukee with the rebound. Giannis has got his sixth rebound on the night on the wing. Porter [Applause] over Donic up again and it’s Eaton with the rebound. Los Angeles leading by five against Koosma. Porter with the steel to end the cold streak and he could not get that one. No contact and he’ll go to the line for two. Going into the league was thought of as a two or maybe even a three but he’s made it clear he sees himself as a point guard and he continues to improve in that role. Taking two shots. [Applause] Re throw good. Porter [Applause] He’s perfect from the line this time. Unlike a lot of perimeter oriented teams, GA offensively, the Bucks can really play inside out. No doubt. And and teams pack in the lane against Milwaukee, but Giannis in particular is a terrific passer. And if you leave a shooter open, he tends to find him. Now here is Hiim. He’s gotten some minutes but nothing on the board yet. And again the Lakers no good. And here is Giannis. He’ll bring it up for the Milwaukee Bucks. They trail by three. Harris’s shot is off. Oh in position [Applause] smart with the assist. corner against Donic on the wing. Harris Krzma outside misses the three. Los Angeles leading by five. Kicks it to Donic. [Music] I’m 10 ft out and two free throws coming up. I think that with all the content all the things Don can do one in particular he can control the pace. Hey Greg, I love that about him. His size, his strength, his savvy, his skill set. You really can’t speed him up at the offensive end. Everything he does is at his pace and his tempo. He methodically breaks you down. Take a break. Take a break. Two shots. [Applause] That free throw good from Donic. Now an MVP caliber player. Donic’s drive is evident. I mean, he’s somebody that wants to be a Hall of Famer when it’s all said and done, and he’s well on his way based on what he’s done thus far. [Applause] [Music] [Applause] Let’s go. [Applause] Left side. The 11-footer is rebounded by Donic. Donic has got five rebounds tonight. [Applause] He can’t get that one. Now the Bucks take it the other way. They get a hand on it. One-on-one here. 14. Vincson’s shot is good. And you see the ability to rise and fire from mid-range even against that one. And you know guys, if they’re inside that that shot probably gets blocked, but from mid-range, I mean, he’s able to get it off over the bigger defender there. And a wide open look for Porter. Plenty of room to knock down the shot. Porter Junior, we know he can create his own shot, but he also can knock down the catch and shoot jump. Here’s Good. He’s been patient so far. Nothing on the scoreboard yet. [Applause] Four on the clock. And the ball goes out of bounds. Last touch by P. But just can’t quite come up with the steal. Clearly a careless pass. He got away with one there. Here’s Dutch. He has five. He gets it in there. He has often once Luca gets the ball, it’s all over. That’s all she wrote. He’s well positioned to finish that catch and shoot. That is some tough defense there against one of the better finishers in our game. To the inside. Here’s on the glass. action all performance so far in the big league. Yeah, you know, they’ve had the advantage at both ends. They’ve got all the momentum early on. Vanderbilt defending. Vanderville with the rebound. Lakers lead by 11. And it’s Good in the corner. [Music] Pass to Vincent puts up a three on the triple V displaying intensity right off the opening tip especially on the offensive end. Tell you what, forget about easing into the game. They came out with guns blazing. There is a whistle that’s going to go on Jackson. That is his first foul of the game. The fourth team [Applause] 2 minutes remain defending. Two minutes and they get it. He takes it up and lays it in. Pick works well there. Not much resistance from the deep. Yeah, that’s not the defense you need. You got to be tougher defensively. [Applause] Trench against Dic to the middle. Here’s Vincent in just the right spot. Vincent’s got seven points. Did a nice job here early of establishing an inside presence. [Applause] Green bounce pass. Here’s Trent. And oh boy, a lot of contact there. Gets the call and will shoot too. Yeah, you can hear the smack all the way over here where we are. And guys, let’s get your take on the scoring for the Lakers. You know, so far in this one, these guys have been knocking it down from distance. You’ve got to like their confidence as this game continues. They’re on a nice roll. And one other thing they’ve done well today, guys, share the ball. I mean, set up teammates and just playing unselfishly. [Applause] No good on that. [Applause] [Applause] and he’s good on the second. Enzo Donic will bring it up for Los Angeles. 13-point lead. and 101 left in the first. Milwaukee’s gone 04 from three-point length to start out cold from outside. Trent kicks to Porter left side. Poris five to shoot. Porter good and a nice assist from Porter. Fantastic job moving the ball there by Porter Jr. understanding exactly what was available when his teammates were open. 26 seconds left to play in the first. Here’s Vincent. Guarded by Porter. Vincent misses. Bucks trail by 11. Green the pass to Trent. No good there. That would cut it to single digits. Kansas. The Los Angeles Lakers. Their lead at 11 points to end the course. And the three-point shot has been four. We’ll get right back to the action when we return. 48. The Bucks 17. All right, Ben. We’ll see if that changes here in a second. And for the Lakers, this has been the game they wanted to have. what we saw in that first quarter, they won their matchups defensively. Yeah, I agree. I mean, you look at the energy, the effort defensively, they put it all out there in that opening quarter. Mark, just a few years ago, we saw a lot of teams toying with small ball lineups, but I think you’d agree unquestionably big men are back. You know, Kevin, I would agree because simply when you look at it, there are a lot of really high quality big guys that can do it inside and out. And so going small is a less frequent approach at this point and it’s one that poses a lot of challenges in my mind on the court for the Bucks. Porter is out there with Harris and then there’s Kumbbo. Then there’s Kyle Kosma and it’s Turner at the center. Now here’s James. He is still scoreless so far in this one. Reeves can’t hit. Definitely a situation you want to make sure you don’t give him too good of a look. Shots good by Turner. Boy, dominant play by Turner there. Used his force and physicality to get that rebound in the bucket. [Applause] Here’s Vincent running that quarter and he’s pretty hard on that shot, but he’s got the chance to pick up the points of the line. It’s going to be on He got whacked on that one. Shouldn’t be much. Lat contact forward. Simple. Two shots. [Applause] Take a break. Take a break. Two shots. [Applause] That free throw missing. [Applause] [Applause] And he sinks the second. And we’re starting the second quarter. About a minute gone. The pass to Koozma. [Applause] Passes it to Harris. Now Porter from downtown and James calls it. Here’s Reeves. Six points for him inside. Here’s Aton. trailing by the one ball. [Music] [Applause] Bucks trail by 10. And the Bucks are on a tremendous run here. The most consecutive playoff appearances since that streak they had back from 1980 to 91. Los Angeles has got fewer than half of the three corners to go down tonight. They are four for nine. James no good. Here’s a big shot here to get this offense going. Too many possessions right now. Back to the Bucks. The question is how much longer do you think is their window? They’ve got the players to win now. That has to be the attitude moving forward. They’re built to do it again. Just need to push all the right buttons. [Applause] Shooting one. [Applause] And Greg, even with teams daring Giannis to shoot from outside, his career three-point percentage stuck below 30%. And still an elite scoreer because of his proficiency at the rim. But it’s been said before, if he adds the triple, he’ll be truly unguarded. Reeves repairs to Eaton and comes down the shot. So he’ll be free and beast inside. Love his size at the line for two. [Applause] shooting two and the first one at the line is good. You know, so much hype around Ay has that rare combination of NBA ready body productivity and upside. [Applause] [Applause] He’s off on the second. And Giannis’s journey GA is so incredibly compelling. A fulllength movie made about his and his brother’s path to the NBA. Well, you hear that saying, “My life is like a movie.” Never truer. That to be honest, it’s been an odyssey for the great free. So, it’s the Lakers now after Gary Harris hit that last three-pointer. Hatchim kicks to James. Six to shoot. shoots a three. He can’t get that one to fall. And Milwaukee will come the other way. Harris outside. [Applause] Three minutes of action so far in the second quarter. Out to Turner over James. That one a little longer and it’s the Lakers on the break. LeBron and the Lakers lead by seven. You know, it would be fun to tabulate how many of LeBron’s career points have come on the break. I would just venture to guess he’s had a bunch of them. Now, here’s Porter. He’s got six. Here’s Harris. And the rejection by Eaton and using that wide reach to reject shots. They can’t afford to throw up weak stuff around the big fell no good. Bucks trail by seven. Harris kicks to Koozma. [Applause] Here’s Turner. Even after two offensive rebounds, they just can’t let the little. Here’s Reeds. Good to Re has got a one of the best front court playmakers ever. And a great job to get that angle on a tremendous drive. And Kevin, little plays like that one will help them manage this lead heading into the half. How about the determination? Here’s Koozma. And that’ll be two free throws coming up. Officials on the line. his third personal foul. Second team and this is his second trip to the line in the game. At the line for the Bucks Kyle bit of a battle for him all at the line for two last year only shooting about 71%. [Applause] Free throw good. Koozma. Kyle Kosma is a guy who burst on the scene during his rookie year and is a fun player to watch. He’s a guy that really has an outstanding all-around game. [Applause] That one falls. So he hits both of them. Los Angeles leading by seven. [Applause] James the best defensive to the inside. Oh, is this one step ahead of the defense with that solid screen and then Greg the monster dunk to finish it off. Boy, picture perfect teamwork that time, guys. One guy sacrificing for the other. That’s how you succeed in this league. Porter and then eight points for him. Man, that was impressive. Kevin Porter Jr. the concentration needed to score that one. Very impressive. Now here’s LeBron. Pass to Ay for the Lakers as Lakers are taking possession. [Applause] [Music] And the Lakers possession here kept alive and it goes out of bounds. Nice touch by Paul [Applause] against Turner. pass to Reeves. Shot clock at six. Well, you look at Turner’s body. He’s got a wy muscular frame that he makes good use of. I mean, his defense and the way he can test shots is remarkable. [Applause] Harris outside. Here’s Turn. Basket is good. The assist from Harris. And now it’s only a Point Laker can’t be thrown any better. That bounce pass getting him right in spot. The pass to Hashim. Here’s Hatton. Porter with a block. Sending it back with postage. This is why every team is looking to add length to his lineup. KMA kicks the corner. [Applause] from the arc. Lakers with the rebound. LeBron passes to Vincent. Back to James. [Applause] The pass to Eightton. Overhead. That one’s good. Eighton. Eightton’s got seven points in the game. Just terrific at executing in the paint. Green against Donic. Passes to Poris to the paint. Here’s Green. Poris trying to free himself. Green no luck. And so it’s with it. He brings it up for Los Angeles. Special signals jump [Music] and the Lakers with possession here down low and that’s good on the assist by James. James has got three assists now in this one. Really doesn’t matter what position Brown is playing, the point, the four or the five. James changes game with his passing ability. Rebounded by DeAndre Lakers lead by nine. Oh, in positions over for him now. 11 points and 10 rebounds. and the impressive reach of eight. Bob it up his way and he’ll take care of the rest. And on the Kumbo is so long. I mean, he stretches forever. Covers a ton of ground. That’s the good one. There’s the teardrop and the rejection by Adumbo. James covering [Applause] There’s the dishwat tombbo. [Applause] Just fine to shoot. The Bucks need to get a shot off here. Portoris. He goes up again. That one’s up there. The Lakers lead is cut down now to just seven on the bucket from Manumbo. Persistence pays for Giannis there using his athleticism and those long arm to collect second chance opportunities for his team to the inside K. And then he can put a lot more damage to the rim than that he wants. Oh, you’re right. Oh, and with the lead they’re enjoying, I’m surprised he didn’t put a little something extra on that one. Well, I think he did plenty of damage nonetheless. I mean, it was only with one hand, but he still threw that down pretty hard. And you don’t ever want to get to the half the offense get to the Yeah, I couldn’t agree with you more. I mean, that’s the message they were sending with that foul. Nothing easy inside for Milwaukee. They have shot 10 of 11 at the line. Nice work so far for them. Yeah. A year ago though, Kevin, 78% conversion rate from the free throw line. So, that’s a nice allaround effort. Two shots. Nice on the first. [Applause] That’s good from Green. [Applause] Both free throws good from Green. Making it look effortless. Send this guy to the stripe. He’s going to cash in more than not. That’s a good one. James looking around the pass to Goodwin to the paint and throws it down. Impressive at using the pick and roll. Eight slips well to the basket after setting that screen. And up to swings it in. Yeah, he just punched the ticket on that one. That’ll get the job done. Powerful twoand jam. I tell you what, if he’s got a few more of those in him, this lead will really start shrinking. Now, here’s eight. He’s got 13 and foul on the shot. He’ll shoot two at the free throw line. That’s his first 7’1 and 250 lbs at the line. Not easy enough taking two shots. [Applause] shooting two. [Applause] And the first one drops. [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] So, one for two that time at the stripe. Bucks trail by eight. Trent can’t hit. You’re endless and sometimes even the best of us are going to miss the easiest of opportunities. LeBron kicks to Donic. Pass a good one. [Music] It’s good on Donic has got nine. You can trust Luca to make the most of a close shot. I mean, he won’t waste a high percentage look most times. [Applause] Donic against Green. A three ball rebounded by Deion Green. And every miss finds its way to his hands. What an impressive performance. Tell you what, those are crazy numbers, guys. I mean, believe me, I was a good rebound. It is not easy to corral that many boards in one night. Unwilling to let up even for a moment. That’s his killer instinct. Just fanning the flame. Yeah, I love the fact he doesn’t play the score. He just keeps coming. Attack mode. He doesn’t know how to step off the gas pedal. Now here’s Green outside. Poris the three-pointer off the mark. LeBron outside pass to Vanderbilt. [Music] Here’s Donic. [Music] And no good on the last second attempt this time. DeAndre, he has been the guy making things happen for the leader. Between his points and his rebounds, he was a star for him in that quarter. It’s time now to go courtside as we send you over to David Aldridge from the sideline. David, take it away. [Music] Thanks, Doc. Where are the adjustments that you need to make? Um, if we’re going to play like this and we’re going to come down and make no passes, um, that’s not how we play. And so, we have to fix that first and then I’ll start thinking about the defensive part. Thanks, Doc. Appreciate it. Back to you, Kevin. Thanks for the great interview, David. And we’ll be back for the third quarter of basketball following halftime. The 2K Sports Halftime Show. [Music] Hey everybody, welcome to the 2K Sports halftime program. I’m Ernie Johnson alongside Shaquille O’Neal and Kenny the Jet Smith. DeAndre Aton was on fire in the first half. He had 14 points, 12 rebounds, and one block. He came into tonight following a tremendous performance last time out and looks eager for a repeat. Shaq, what you think about the Lakers? Well, our movement was a real factor for the Lakers. They play a little selfishly with patience. Guys got shots in their favor spots. When you get those high percentage looks, good things tend to happen. And Kenny, how about what you saw from the Bucks? Ice, cold, frigid from beyond the arm. The question is now, can they shake it off and get back in the groove? Another option is compensate by going to the rim. And that’s a wrap for our halftime show. The third quarter just about to get started. [Music] It’s time everyone here with the second. We’ll find out if this thing becomes the route that it’s threatening to be. DeAndre Aiden has been sensational. Well, with a double double in hand through two quarters, you can just imagine what his statline will look like at the end of this one. Yeah, he’s got that locked in look in his eyes tonight. And he’s not going to start taking it easy. I think he’s going to be going hard until that final whistle blows. [Applause] Well, we’ve got a second half of basketball for you. We think it’s going to be pretty good. And a big comeback though is needed for this game to be competitive and it probably has to happen quickly. Lu hatching out there with LeBron James. Then there’s Ly. Then there’s and it’s Reeves in at the shooting guard. That’s who’s in the game for the Lakers. And J passes to LeBron. passen [Applause] [Music] on the pass to Reeds over Harris off the left rim and out and Ziannis will bring it up for the Milwaukee Bucks. It’s a 10-point game. Doesn’t go for him. Lakers shooting 48% from the field. Not bad at all. Donic no good. And for Milwaukee, they’re shooting just 31% in the game. And he gets the whistle and two free throws coming up. That’s just play by Jiannis again. Tough defense foul still getting the shot off. And these are his second and third free throws tonight. And really the line was just a battle for him. Just about a 72% free throw shooter. shooting two [Applause] [Music] [Applause] heat. and he makes the first. He is creeping up in those alltime conversations. Giannis has won regular season and finals MVP plus defensive player of the year. Quite the resume and he is not done for a while, folks. [Applause] and he can’t hit the second. Los Angeles leading by nine out to the wing. Here’s Reeds. Rebound Milwaukee has got 13 rebounds in the game. seated shoots off the step back. Giannis six for two with that shot going in. That’s a good game for a lot of guys. Giannis is taking it up a notch here and he’s always one of the more consistent players in the league night in and night out and he’s getting it done. There you go. Relentless pursuit of the ball. I love he never stopped working. Bucks trail by nine outside [Music] passes it to Koosma over LeBron and that’ll be Milwaukee as it goes on retain possession and we got to take a second look to admire that outstanding block. Well, and that’ll give him a nice injection. Nothing like a rejection to get a team fired up. [Applause] Two minutes into the second half of play now. Bottom quarter against Donic. Right one shot and the call on the shot to one. That’s his second. Nice junior get aggressive. Not settle for and take it into Kevin Porter Jr. taking two shots. [Applause] shooting two. [Music] [Applause] No good on the free throw. [Applause] good on the second free throw. Lakers leading by eight. [Applause] Pass to Reeves. And here is LeBron. goes out of bounds. [Applause] Pass to Reed. [Music] James outside down to five on the shot clock. takes the three. The rebound by Turner. Turner’s got his fifth rebound in this one. And there’s no question Miles Turner is one of the NBA’s best shot blockers. Kevin, he’s led the league multiple times in block shots. And if you look at his per game averages, man, very impressive. I think he’s put himself in the conversation for one of the most prolific shot blockers of all time if he can sustain it for a few more years. Now here’s James. He has six inside. Here’s eight. The second effort shooting foul as the whistle blows. He’ll shoot two free throws. His fourth personal foul so far tonight. He’s scored four of six at the line. at the line for the Lakers. DeAndre A at the line for two. [Applause] [Applause] Two shots in the first. [Applause] [Applause] That free throw no good. and and forget about the miss for a moment and focus on the fact that he’s done a great job putting pressure on the defense [Applause] and the second free throw good and Zoa will bring it up for the Bucks since the Second half started. They’ve only given up three points. Harris kicks to Yiannis into the lane. Here’s Turner to Kimbo picking up the assist. Giannis has got three assists in the game. Porter against Donic from past the arc. Los Angeles with another miss. And on an open look like that, he’s very gifted at making the weak coverage. Hard to decide which better, the pass, the catch, or the slam. There’s no wrong answer. Sensational wouldn’t know the team when they’re able to put off play like that. and touch explosive safety explos [Applause] that one doesn’t drop and the well is running dry for him right now. nothing falling and you know you can sense his frustration to his resolve here. Really well done there. Just confident and composed, never in a hurry. And that was another look at the fantastic mobile one drive that happened a moment ago and catching the defense flatfooted and taking full advantage. Big bucket there to extend the lead. Here’s Harris. Two throws coming up and they call the shooting foul. Austin Reed Harris’s confidence, physicality, and determination allow him to draw fouls as he gets close to the basket. At the line for the Bucks, now let’s take a moment to hear on the scoring at the line. Well, you know, they’ve been tremendous, I think, when it comes to sharing the basketball. You know, getting guys involved on the plays and creating offensive opportunities for everybody. Equal opportunity offense is fun to watch. And another area they’ve separated themselves has been their three-point shooting. Making the defense pay for any air space. No good on that one. His improvement each year in the league is impressive. Harris knows his role is to score the ball and he does it well. Catching up on the changes for Los Angeles. Jackson Hayes comes in for Aiden and Vincent subbed in for Luca Donuch. [Applause] He hits the second from the line. Lakers lead by eight. [Music] [Applause] Passes it to Reeds. Back to James. Vincent the pass to Reeds. It’s stolen by Harris. And now here comes Andumbbo leading the break. Second chance effort has got nine points now in the quarter. Boy, the added work in the weight room for Giannis coming into play there. You got to send an army to try to stop this guy. [Music] Here’s Vincent guarded by Porter. Pass to LeBron. Six on the shot clock. Oh, good with the triple. And Dumbo looking over the floor with the second effort. Got that bucket. Giannis has got 11 in the second half with Jiannis. A little power goes a long way getting him past the contact. Gianniso. That’s his first personal foul. Second, he’ll take his third and fourth free throw shots of the game right here. the line for the Lakers. Gabe Benson two shots, two [Applause] and he knocks down the first one. And the Bucks making a change here. Cortis has checked in. [Applause] [Applause] And that’s good as he hits both of his shots. Bucks trail by six. Porter kicks to Portoris. Pass to Koosma over LeBron. It’s not going to go for him. And the Lakers take it the other way. They’ve led by as many as 14 points. The Lakers Lakers retain possession. And the Lakers making a change here. Vanderbilt to check in. And then for Milwaukee, Trent comes in for Harris. And it’s green in for Kevin Porter. [Applause] To the middle. Here’s Vincent. It’s James picking up the assist. James has got his fourth assist in this one. Green bounce pass. It’s Trent on the wing. A rebound by the Lakers. And that is a textbook example of how to defend your rim. And you know, guys, I love his fight and grit on the interior. I mean, he never lets a shot go uncontested. Here’s Reeves. He’s got 12. Just five on the clock. He tries for three. The rebound by Turner. Turner’s got rebound number eight now on the night for the three. There’s Mortis. Count the bucket and he’s got a free throw coming up as well. That’s his second point there. Got him on a nice play getting the ball right to the bucket. He’s getting his first free throw attempt of the game here. Good checked in for Los Angeles and the Bucks making a change here. What’s up? [Applause] Los Angeles leading by five. There’s the pass to Vincent. [Applause] passes the good one. Los Angeles needs to get off the shot here. Best shot from ages. And the lack of effort to fight over the screen there makes that an easy shot. Well, I’m going to credit the screen. I mean, that’s a good strong pick. He lays down. Green passes to Trent. Jerry up two there. How about how he sets his man up there, runs him right into the screen, and then gets the basket pass to Vincent. Off to Goodwin. [Applause] And there’s the pass to James. looking to get back on track here and contact shot. So he’ll be shooting free throws here. [Music] Hey, you want to try to guard LeBron? Good luck. I mean, the King is impossible to stop. Fast, strong, smart, tough, creative, cause lots of fouls at the line for two. [Applause] That free throw no good. Hey, there are guys who have played as long as LeBron, okay, but how many have maintained their physical abilities the way he has so late in his career? I think that’s a short list. Los Angeles making a switch here. Hatchimz checked in. Good on the second free throw. Here’s Green. [Applause] Trent kicks to Portoris. Bank to Trent. Pocket six. Goes up on the high post the bucket. Wow. He was just wide open there. That’s way too easy. passes it a good one. Back to James and they double up James. Here’s Vincent defended by Trent. Vincent misses. Bucks trail by four. And back in 2020 when Miles Turner put up a crazy stat line, seven made threes, 13 rebounds, and three blocks. Just the fourth time someone has reached those numbers in a game. Cashing in on the interior, making it look all too easy. [Applause] Rebound the Lakers. LeBron’s got his sixth rebound on the night. And for Turner Greg, that ridiculous line has been equaled by only two players ever. Hey Kevin, how about that? Only Carlton had the combination rebound. [Applause] Wow. Yeah, he doesn’t play like that very often. That’s a nice move inside. This will be his third shot of the game. Check in for Milwaukee. Kevin Porter comes in for Green. [Applause] [Applause] One shot. [Applause] [Applause] And Dr. No good on that one. Lakers lead by four. [Applause] And that one clearly a foul. Gets the whistle and two shots coming up. That’s his first personal foul. He’s made three of his four attempts in the game. At the line for Los Angeles, Gabe Benson taking two shots. [Applause] Two shots. [Applause] First free throw is good. [Applause] And good on the second. So he makes them both. Here is Port. Nine points in the game so far. pass to Turner. Rebound the Lakers. Vanderbilt’s got his fourth rebound in this one. Here’s LeBron. LeBron James has got nine. You know, it’s really hard for me to say if there’s ever been anyone better at finishing through contact than LeBron. He’s just so big and strong and fast, too. Plenty of daylight on that. Gets the shot he wants. The defense wasn’t quite connected enough. They lost contact. LeBron outside. Pass to Vanderbilt. Lakers working the ball around now. Dishes it to LeBron. Shot clock at six. The pass to Vincent. James picking up the assists. Vincent got nine points in the quarter. It’s Porter with the ball for the Bucks. Trailing here by eight. A shot missing and the Lakers take it the other way. They’ve led by as many as 14 points. Here’s Vincent. He’s got 17. James outside. Off the mark there with the three-point shot. Bucks trail by eight. on the wing. A Harris. Six points for him. That’s foul number two for him. That’s a great defense. Anticipated the players and not afraid to put his body on the line. He took a shot for the team in that situation. Lakers leading by eight. [Applause] LeBron James defended by Trent. He gives that one a drop. He’s now five of 12. A monster down low. LeBron James the rare package of skill, size, and athleticism. [Music] Hustle like that is why he leads this team. I tell you what, guys, nobody’s been more physical in this game than he has. He has been a class eater. And so it’s Los Angeles going into the break with a 10-point lead. They’re pounding the ball inside and that’s where they’ve gotten their best production tonight. We come back right after this [Music] here. Now a chance to show you our assist of the game and it’s presented as always by State Farm. And I’m glad that This was the pick because I love this pass. Such a great dish. That’s what I call court vision. Yeah. And with the accuracy to go along with that vision. I mean, he put the ball in the absolute perfect spot. That’s how you orchestrate. And this is it. Glad to have you along for this fourth and final quarter on the floor for Milwaukee. Starting the fourth quarter. The four and five. Yiannis and Portoris. Corner is out there with Gary Harris and it’s Koozma in at the three spot. Here’s Vincent Rob Hatchim onto the Kumbbo defending the shot from 20 ft away and the rejection violation. Milwaukee ball. [Applause] Porter passes to on the Kumbbo. Good quarter. Porter’s got three assists in the game. Now to the post showing his versatility yet again. His dribble moves are virtually unguardable. Here’s Vincent. picks it up to James. It’s over Kuzman. The Lakers get it back in 14. And using that 75 wings span, putting it back off the miss, one of Aiden’s special teams. Fourth quarter. Still Young just over a minute playing. Master KMA the 11footer. Good on the two shot. Here’s Vincent pass to Reeds high and good that time and that 14 points from LeBron without question James is the green light from anywhere that that mid-range is just another area where he’s dangerous. Harris and it’s off the back rim. No good. Los Angeles leading by 10. [Applause] LeBron dishes to five on the clock. Trying to get open and foul on the shot. He’ll shoot two at the free throw line. His first personal foul. First team foul at the line for the Lakers. DeAndre Aen at the line for two, two [Applause] free throw dropped. straight for he’s checked in for Gabe Vincent. [Applause] [Music] [Applause] So he makes one of two as the second one misses and it’s Koozma with the ball for Milwaukee. 11-point game. Porter kicks to Koozma over eight. And that one goes long. Lakers have gone two or four from the field since we started the final quarter of play. And here we go. Fast ring Kzma’s got. Oh, it’s fun watching Koozma find a way to get out of the open court. The young legs on display there. I’m glad we got a chance to check out that fantastic drive. One passes to Reeds. The best wide of a 15-year bet. nonsense plays that [Applause] pass to Harris. Back to Porter. Jacks up a three. Basket is good. This is from Harris. It all started with the pass. That’s what coaches love to see. Ball movement. [Music] A bit under three and a half minutes have passed here in the fourth. [Music] LeBron against that one rolling around and runs out. Look at him and he’s a little hit and miss from there even without a defender in his face. No guarantee. Harris dishes to Takumba, fires it up, rebounded by DeAndre. Lakers leading by eight. [Music] The three for Donic. It’s rebounded by Portoris. The pass to Porter and finished off by Porter with his vert. Porter Jr. has no issues getting to the rim. Here’s Reeves. Nice ball movement there by the Lakers. Passes it to Donic. Then drops in four and the Lakers lead by eight. Krushma outside outside. Harris finds a throw and there are the Bucks with another bucket. You can tell Gary Harris is thinking of firing that shot even as the pass is coming his way. James in the post. He’s against Kmart. And it’s eightton missing. Fox trail by six. Harris right side and foul on the shot. So you’ll get a chance. It’s on LeBron James. Got to be careful how you defend Harris now. Really good at drawing fouls. Shooting for Milwaukee. Gary Harris taking two shots. [Applause] Take a break. Take a break. Two shots. [Applause] The first one falls. [Applause] [Applause] and so he hits both. And so it’s Dunic with it. He brings it up for the Los Angeles Lakers just to hatch him up. Here’s Reeves running by Harris. Here’s Reeves onto Tumbo. Pulls it in. Gonna has got rebound number 17 if you can believe that. Pass to Porter. Back to Onumbbo. [Applause] and he goes has got 15 points in just the second half. He just exudes a love of the game, guys. You can see it in everything he does. This guy lives and breathes the game. Now here’s LeBron and throws it to just proving how fast he can heat up. Once Aiden finds that rhythm, he is going to go right. [Applause] Harris passes to Y. Back to Harris. [Applause] Two free throws coming up. DeAndre A. His third personal foul. Second team foul. Shooting for Milwaukee. Gary Harris. Two shots. [Applause] shooting two. [Applause] First free throw is good. Miles Turner, he’s checked in for the Bucks. [Applause] [Applause] and Harris drops them both. Lakers have gone five of 12 from the field entering the fourth quarter and the pass to Reeves back to Dic to the inside. Kzman and Kman and you know I think Kman is the kind of guy you’ve got to push out of the paint when you don’t. This is what happened. passes it to James. [Music] He’s fouled pretty hard on that shot, but he’s got the two pumping on the points of the line up. Even from over here, you can see that one pretty close. No question about it. I mean, a ton of contact. A good ball by the officials. [Applause] two and he knocks down the first one. [Applause] And so he makes both from the line. They’ve been working the ball around well and he’s benefited with a lot of open looks and boy has he made the most of them. Now here is Harris. Knocked away and stolen by James. Passenon. [Applause] Shot clock at five over Porter. James has got six on the court. He’s so good at creating his own shot. He’s just got an endless supply of moves. LeBron James. Turner kicks to Portis. Got a piece of it. Turner passes to Poris. That ball. Nice feed that time from Turner. And you want him taking big shots for you in big moments. That one was as easy as it gets. Well, you don’t want to give him any open shots at this stage, never mind the layup. Come on now. My goodness. Now here is Huim shoots Homer Poris and the call on the shot sends him to the line. his third personal foul on Bobby Poris. And when looking to score it sometimes to get aggressive taking two shots. [Applause] Two shot. He misses the free throw. Onto Tumbo’s checked in for Bobby Porters. [Applause] and the second free throw. Good. Bucks trail by three. A floater quarter. No luck. Lakers have gone six of 13. So just above 46% on their field goal attempts are in the quarter. Back to James kicks to Himura. Aiden up top. [Applause] And that’ll be two free throws coming up. Officials on the call. Personal foul. The fourth team bomb at the line for the Lakers. DeAndre A at the line for two. Two shots. Max on the first. [Applause] The free throw drops for Eaton. [Applause] [Applause] Eightton hits them both. And here’s Giannis. He’ll bring it up for the Bucks. Trailing by five from 12 ft out. That shot no good as the Lakers the other way. They’ve led by as many as 14 points. Kicks it to Donic. from deep LeBron. Oh, the shots good on the assist by GIC has got his eighth assist here tonight. Bucks trail by eight. [Applause] Here’s Yiannis, the offensive rebounder on the way. Harris tips in the train. Huge points from Porter Jr. Fearless in big moments. Donic again. [Applause] Donic kicks to LeBron. [Applause] Trying his luck from deep. Milwaukee with a rebound. He’s just chucking it up from this. If you’re going to do this, especially in the second half, you better make quarter. No luck. Lakers lead by five. [Music] called the shot picks up two points. So, one free throw coming up. Well, this is why me and so many others are high on Dante. I mean, he’s got the ability to fight through challenges with the defense. That’s his second personal foul. 15 foul at the line for Los Angeles. Luca Panch shooting one. [Applause] That free throw good from Donic. And there’s a minute 45 left in the fourth. [Applause] on the wing. Y [Applause] the 11 footer and it’s wide right. It’s off the rim and it’s the Lakers. They’re on a 13-5 runs the pass to Aton [Applause] out to Donic. Six to shoot and divine. Hatim gets it to him. Back to Donic. Down to five on the shot clock. No good. Not a friendly one at all. This trip down. Milwaukee’s gone two for two from three point the fourth quarter. And on the shot took the shot misses. He’ll be shooting too. On that shot. Yeah, the officials didn’t need to talk that one over. It was obvious. Shooting for Milwaukee. Kevin Porter Jr. taking two shots. Take a break. Take a break. Two shots. [Applause] He hits the first one and that narrows the gap to seven. That’s also good. So, he hits both free throws and good aggressive basketball drawing the foul, converting the free throws and then also narrowing the gap. And they double up. Donic pass to Atono [Applause] has the reputation of being an outstanding leader as well. He’s a clutch player. Demands the ball in these situations. You love that. At the line for the Lakers, LeBron James. Two shots. [Applause] Good on the first and that makes it a seven-point lead. [Applause] [Music] [Applause] We’ve got 22 seconds left in the fourth quarter of this one and owns his Los Angeles game. [Music] Here’s Milton, guys. They can just sit on the ball here if they want to. They have urged this one. [Applause] Yeah. [Applause] One clearly. Yeah. I mean, it was a solid performance particularly here at home. 96 built off that edge of being here in just a little David. [Applause] Thanks very much. LeBron, in the fourth quarter, were you looking to be aggressive? Yeah, to try to close the game out. You know, my teammates look for me in the fourth quarter to close the game out with my scoring and just my playmaking ability. So, uh, you know, to be able to go out there and come do for it means a lot. I know they’re used to it by now, but I know you’re still happy with the win. Congrats. Back to you. Thank you, David. Great to have you once again. And that’s going to do it tonight, folks, for our
