So, could the Los Angeles Lakers be trading away LeBron James to the Denver Nuggets this 2025 NBA offseason? Well, here on the screen is a trade proposal or a trade idea from fadeawayorld.net. So, I know LeBron James is obviously one of the best players ever, uh, if not the best player ever, depending on who you ask, one of the best players still in the NBA despite the fact that he is over the age of 40 years old. But would I give up this much for LeBron James, maybe a year or two of him in Denver? I don’t think so. Like, the Nuggets did a really good job this off season acquiring some more talent to kind of surround Nicole Joic with. they got a little bit deeper and that’s kind of the direction that this team has to hang or has to go because last year in the playoffs especially against Oklahoma City depth really was a problem for them. Uh like by the time game seven rolled around the Thunder just had a lot more left in the tank as they had more of a rotation where this Nuggets team especially with Aaron Gordon playing injured uh it just didn’t work out for them. So they would be sort of going against everything they did this offseason to cash in on one and two years of LeBron James. And if that doesn’t work out, this team’s heading in a very different direction in the foreseeable future. So, if I’m the Denver Nuggets, LeBron James is a cool player. Don’t get me wrong. I think having a big three of Nicole Jokic, Jamal Murray, and LeBron James would be pretty fun to see. But, is it really worth sacrificing this team’s identity by getting rid of Aaron Gordon, who’s a tremendous player to this team, recently acquired Cam Johnson in that Michael Porter Jr. trade? That was a good move for them. Zeke Naji as well as well as a first round pick swap. That’s just way too much to me to give up in my personal opinion. So from the Lakers perspective, I love this deal. Uh giving Luca Donuch more options in the front court like Aaron Gordon, Cam Johnson, and Zeke Naji, plus a first round pick swap option. That’s always wonderful to have for an aging old um expensive LeBron James. I just wouldn’t do this personally speaking. Uh so in my opinion, the winner of this deal would be the Denver Nuggets.
