Of course Barnes would like Jordan Clarkson. He said he puts his hands up the most since me 😅. But u notice he dont scrap just like you Matt, both of them are posers trying to act gangsta. Lame ass dudes
He been different ever since he started painting his nails. It didn’t matter where JC played, he would be talked about. And over the last few years he’s been mia in the 6th man category . Ironically I would’ve preferred JC over DLo on the mavs, but dlo is the better PG. I was begging for JC when they still had Luka, but now they need more players who can get their buccet, but can be PG first in their system, rather than score 1st since he he Kai injury. They also got Brandon Williams who stepped up greatly post trade/injury. He’s small but I’m interested in seeing how he steps up this year. But if exum can stay healthy, he’s their X factor. He was injured when they needed him last year, but he’s a player who makes every few mistakes, but he can also run the offense near flawlessly, get his own buccet, shoot the 3 and he always just makes the right play. I went off in a tangent, but the mavs will be special this year barring any major injury. All they need is a guard who can connect the pieces until Kai returns. Outside the guard position they are deep, they’re long , and they’re 2 way at every position. They may not have the most potent offense but they’re built to be a top 3 defense every night on the floor. And at the same time they have buccet getters when they need it, but it will be definitely defensively reliant, which will translate into many easy buccets. The new cba is making it so you have to build your team with smaller contracts. We’re looking at the last year were you’ll have multiple max players on one team. You see a lot more teams attempting to build like the mavs and that says a lot because outside the Luka trade, Nico has been putting on a master class. If the hurt feelings leads to success, he may go down as legendary, just based off how he let his balls hang 😅
