Boston Celtics vs Miami Heat LIVE ON ESPN 4K NBA2K26 Summer League NBA LIVE NBA TODAY

won a little bit in game two, but his overall play has been lauded by summer league head coach Matt Reynolds and having a good positive overall impact at both ends of the floor. Meanwhile, Charles Bassie, I would be surprised if he doesn’t come away from Las Vegas with some type of contract. Well, we’ve seen Bassie have success in San Antonio. He’s been a starter in this league. So, the numbers that he’s put up in summer league really aren’t a surprise. As a young man that understands how the game is played, he knows his role and how he can help a team be successful. And he has done just that here for the Celtics. Switch gears a little bit to the Miami Heat. They were 37 and 45 a season ago. Eighth place in the Eastern Conference. Heat culture carries with it exceedingly high expectations. You think back to a year ago at this time, right Corey? Fel Wear was the guy that surprised everybody, had promise written all over him. The expectations have raised for him. What do you make of the way he’s played so far? I believe he’s responded very well and was called out by his coach. That’s what he cultures about. You have to be able to accept criticism and more importantly respond to it. And you see that’s exactly what Kel Wear did after game one. Eric Spolson wasn’t happy with his production. He made it very clear. Kel Wear responding in the right way. 21 points, eight of 14 from the field. more importantly the nine boards. That’s where they need to see him make the improvement. Rev up that motor some and put up some numbers today. Let’s go courtside to Vanessa with more. So happy to be joined now by Pella Larson and Pella. Summer league of course is a great place to showcase your skills and what you can do. What do you hope to prove while you’re here? We’re trying to win, man. We’re trying to prove that we can play as a team. Kick with the pass, play harder than another team. That’s about it right now. You were one of the bright spots in that loss to the Cavs. What are some specific things you guys hope to clean up today? Uh rebounding. They dominated us on the rebounds. Both our losses have come from that and taking care of the ball. Thanks for your time. Y a couple of games here in Las Vegas. He’s averaging 15 points a game on just 38% shooting from the field. We’re going to get ready to run this next one between the Heat and the Celtics here from the Pavilion on day five in Las Vegas. Back after this. Oh, it’s mesmerizing. I can’t look away. Heat. [Music] Hey. Hey. Heat. Heat. [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] this one between 37 and 45 last year against the Celtics who are 61 and 21. Matt Reynolds has dominion and sovereignty over the sidelines here tonight for the Boston Celtics. native of actually went to Syracuse University. Cuse began his career in 2015 with the Celtics like so many other people do. Cory in that video room man slicing up tape. That’s where it is. Matt Reynolds actually I have opportunity to work with him at the Jason Tatum camp. No surprise Boston superstar having Matt at his camp but he does a great job cutting up film for young players. I believe Jordan Walsh may have been one of the guys that visited us at JT’s inaugural camp three seasons ago. So the product of the Boston Celtics also getting tulips from JT back in the day. Right. Almost pre-ordained maybe that those two ended up together in Boston. Meanwhile, Eric Glass is the summer league head coach for the Miami Heat out of Cal State Fullerton. longtime member of the Heat organization. Coached several summer leagues, coached the Sou Falls Sky Force, the team’s GLeague affiliate during the 201920 pandemic shorten season and has a lot of international experience as well, working with Mike Portello with team Ukraine back in 2013 as they introduced the starters here at the pavilion. Miami, the reigning summer league champs. Cory, they’re off to a bumpy start. We should be able to tell exactly how much they want to be here in the first few minutes, right? I believe we will absolutely see that. And one thing we saw Vanessa’s interview with Pella Larson, the first thing he said was, “I just want to win, man. 0 and2 here for the Miami Heat.” And especially for a group of guys who are coming off of what was a winning trip to Vegas last year. They absolutely they want to get in these standings right here where you see the teams that are undefeated and going to be vying for a summer league championship. Top four teams qualify for the semifinals. The championship game will be played on July 20th on ESPN. And you speak with some of the coaches and some of the front office people around summer league. And the one common denominator, Cory, I keep hearing coming up is it’s never too early to begin winning culture. Even if your team is in a rebuild or if you’re in the middle or even if you’re at the top, to win something like this tournament does mean something. It really does. And again, development comes through winning. Abs. At the end of the day, guys want to become better skilled. They want to become better players. But winning is important. And you will not find anyone, especially in the Miami Heat culture, that tells you different than winning doesn’t come without development. Getting ready for the tip. Bassian wear and Walsh quickly out of the gate. Smokes the dunk and it’ll come back the other way and inospicious beginning for Jordan Walsh. No longer the youngest player on the Celtics team. No, but I’ll take this attempt. At the end of the day, you want to be aggressive. Unable to get it to go, but winning the tip and being aggressive right off the start. Jordan Walsh going one and dunking is something that he does well. So, not used to missing many of those. Out on the wing at Stevenson. It’s where at the elbow, faces up, fires, and left it on the front rim. See if Sherman can get out of the gate quickly and find his offensive flow. Bassie off the elbow. Sho with a nice step back from 15. Rebounded by Wear. And it’s rare to see a matchup like this where you’ve got two guys who have spent a lot of time in the starting lineup at centers during actual NBA action. Kell wear and Charles Bassie going at it here today. Bassie with the outlet. Gonzalez the rookie out of Spade number 28. Shog on the baseline. Lofted up for Bassie in the slam. Charles Bassie makes it two nothing. Just underway here. We watched him with the San Antonio Spurs several times last season. [Applause] Shot clock down to eight. Good defense by Shman pounding the ball handler and peeled him clean and a great pass from his backside. Count it and put one on the mixtape. But Shyman the way he led Jordan Walsh right into that almost as a quarterback throwing as you mentioned off of his back pocket. Got to get another look at that play as Pella Larson got fouled. We’ll give Sharon a tremendous amount of credit. First, diving for the ball, but then the lefty toss right on the money, hitting Jordan Walsh in stride and Walsh going with the layup this time, but more importantly the short two instead of the highlight finish. Bella Larson at the free throw line for Miami. Shot 67% during the regular season for the Heat here in Las Vegas averaging about 15 points per game. a guy that as you look at the Heat roster has an opportunity to be really entrenched in the top six but maybe even a starter and uh he and Haime Hackz battling for minutes at that spot. Well, when you consider one of the things that’s necessary for you to be a part of that heat rotation is toughness and Pella Larson absolutely has that toughness. Now in his second year, this is when organizations expect for you to make that jump. They want to see it here in the summer, but more importantly once you get to training camp in the fall. Stevenson all over Gonzalez. [Music] They pinched him and took his cornbread. Wow. Ira Lewis came in like a bolt. But Jones, you can see Gonzalez taking exception to the physical play by Stevenson getting up into him in the screen and then as you mentioned, Kyvin Lewis just so quick jumping out there taking the basketball away. forcing Gonzalez to foul. And I believe we’re looking at a clear foul. Well earned. And there’s a look at Gonzalez who admitted after the first summer league game that he played, he missed the second one that adjusting to the speed of basketball here in America in the NBA was a major part of the equation for him. Maybe sideline out of bounds. Young man played for Barcelona. He’s not alone. I mean, Real Madrid. That’s blasphemous. That’s the other team. Real Madrid. But, but he’s not alone. Again, there’s so many different players here battling with the speed of the game. And guess what, Jonesy? It gets even faster once we hit October. Oh boy. Larson with a ball fake inside where nice catch and finish by KL Wear. And I love the presence of KL Wear to recognize where he was. Normally he would try to dunk that one, but he knew he was too far away from the rim, so just finishes with the soft touch. Gonzalez in the corner. Back out to Walsh. Gonzalez slips out. We switches on to him. Bassie, can we say that he designed it that way? Well, let’s just say that he’s pretty much made every other shot during out during his time here in summer league. So, no surprise that Bass is able to get that one to go. Wow, great jelly around the rim that time by Kyra Lewis. A fouryear pro, a former lottery pick by the New Orleans Pelicans. 12th overall. Yep. Gonzalez lost it against where Lewis into the front court. [Music] Larson off the bounce to Lewis. Got it. Payton. Great ball fake for the bucket. But you can see how things have slowown down for Pala Larson. I mean, even comparison to a season ago when the Miami Heat won the summer league championship. He was he made a big shot for them in the championship game. Pass got fouled that time, Cory, on the alleyoop attempt and he’ll go to the free throw line for a couple of shots. as we revisit with Larson made a huge play at the end of the game for them in overtime of the championship, but he wasn’t the main cog. It was Williams. It was Josh Christopher, those guys really carried the team. But we talked with coach Glass pregame. He talked about how Larson and KJ Kash Johnson, those guys have really stepped up in a leadership role this season here for this group in summer league. The discerning eyes of the coaching staff in front office always watching for both these teams as Bassie knocks down the first foul shot. A 64% free throw shooter on the season. A surprise late addition to the Celtics roster at least by the San Antonio Spurs and well you talk about found money. He’s been arguably their best player here. He absolutely has and he’s a young man that has an opportunity to get quality minutes for the Boston Celtics and he’s only helped himself here in summer league. Nice spin by wear couldn’t catch and rebounded by Bassie Shyman Walsh with a nice seal whistle foul to Littleton. But now going into his third season, that’s not a play we would have seen from Jordan Walsh last summer, even two summers ago. ceiling, running the floor, and more importantly taking advantage of that size and athleticism, the strength to be able to finish through the contact of Stevenson. Cory, I thought I heard somebody say weight room down there. I’m not sure. I’m sure you probably did. Jordan Walsh at the free throw line. Speaking with Drew Carter, who colleague of ours at ESPN covers the Celtics, tells me that Jordan Walsh was named after the River Jordan, not Michael Jordan, as most in our sport and business would assume. in a good flow so far. Three-point lead for Boston. Larson turns the corner. That baseline three was pure Johnson out of Arizona. A nice nice read by Larson recognizing that the Celtics wanted to make sure they took away the lob to Kel Wear. Shoga fouled by Kyra Lewis. Clean start by both teams. 11 a piece when we return. NBA 2K26 Summer League is proudly sponsored by NBA 2K26. [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] Heat. Heat. N. [Music] [Music] Corporate is considering multiple teams but also retiring. I believe he’s in the midst of making that decision as to whether he’s going to come back and play next season. But without assuming he doesn’t return to the Celtics, that’s going to leave a large opportunity for guys to get minutes considering Porzingis is gone. We know L Cornet signing with the San Antonio Spurs. And now if Al Horford doesn’t come back, there’s going to leave a huge void right in the middle of the Celtics lineup. We knew that there were pending financial decisions to be made by the Boston Celtics and their front office with second apron issues as they turn it over. Cory, I like to say you but you can’t be balling on a budget. No, you can’t. And when you consider this is a team that won a world title just two seasons ago, right? to see what’s going on with this organization. But that’s what the Second Apron has done. I mean, that’s the reality behind it, you know, and when you look at it, again, it’s one thing to go over the luxury tax, but it’s something completely different to be penalized over $200 million. And again, I don’t know any businessman that’s going to be able to, you know, take that light. It’s going to be an offensive foul against Golden. As I said, there was a seismic shift in what their lineup’s going to look like. Two different starters gone. Luca Garza signed from the Minnesota Timberwolves as a free agent. The Yang in that deal. And when you look at these two lineups, Jonesy, the biggest difference in what you see and what you’ll lose from the Boston Celtics is defense. And that’s of course the way they were able to win a world title. You bring in George Yang who’s an elite offensive player. However, defense isn’t his strong suit. Nor Luca Garza who has proven that he can get the job done offensively, but defensively there are times where he struggles on that end of the floor. So that’s going to be a concerning area this season for the Boston Celtics if this is a lineup that they’re putting on the floor. Knocks down his second field goal. Long three. He’s got a total of eight out top to wear. He’s made a couple of threes already. Did so in the last game. That ball out of bounds. It’ll come back. Boston basketball where points at his chest, taps it, says my bad. They’re going with a too big look here, Cory. And do you see that with the success of OKC with their two bigs, Chad and Hartinstein being any kind of a trend? You absolutely do. But what’s important and I’ve been told this by yeah it goes back to Frank Vogle who won a championship with two bigs with Anthony Davis and of course Dwight Howard the size that they had with the Lakers in 2020 a prerequisite if you’re going to play two bigs one of them has to be a three-point shooter and so that’s means that Kel Wear is going to have to be a guy that can make this shot on Q he’s able to knock one down he heard me Josie wear and more than anything. Eric Glass, the summer league head coach for the Heat, probably thrilled with the amount of engagement by wear so far. He’s involved. Norris, meanwhile, with a counter three the other end. Hook on the bounce along around the wear screen. Hard roll wear in traffic. Couldn’t get the tip to go. Great effort by KL Wear to keep that possession in Miami’s favor. But I love that play so much simply because even though he just knocked down one three, he didn’t settle. Tried to get closer to the rim and attack, unable to finish, but the con second effort, the third effort to be able to come away with the offensive rebound, he’s chasing it all the way out to half court. That’s why Eric Sper called out Kell Wear after game one. This is the effort he wants to see from him every time he steps on the basketball court. Of course, uh we all know about the hardest working, leanest, nastiest, best condition team in the NBA. That’s part of the credo being often missing from outside. Isaiah Long rebound Boston. Gonzalez, he says why not three for a quarter. They don’t get any. And here’s Lewis. Under three minutes to go and he throws it away. Time out on the floor. Sometimes the Heat want to know where you at. Find me out here. 305 or let’s just call it three. [Music] Love. So cute. [Music] [Music] An admitted struggle for Spolster in Miami finishing up just 37 and 45 for threetime champions. of course flanked by that one of those three-time champions Udonis Hasslam and also on the other side my guy Chris Quinn who happens to be SP’s workout partner and those two have a tremendous competition which everything in Miami is a competition right but they have a tremendous competition and Quinn often jokes with uh coach about he’s thinning out a little bit uhoh not you know not putting in the the proper weight room work so likes to show me he’ll show me The leg press say you see that destroyed that today. You know they’ll be doing body fat percentage tests like they regularly do down in Miami. Yes. Goes for coaches too. Wong out to Gonzalez. Missed his last one. Got peeled. Tough defense by Miami. That’s the fourth turnover for Boston. Marcus Williams out top. Fellow Larson now. Larson got blitzed and they turned him over. Loftton Loftton out of first. Louisiana Tech. Gonzalez with the sideep. Back out to Wong. Wild shot, but he draws the foul. And Isaiah Wong out of the University of Miami will go to the free throw line for a couple of shots. As much time as you spent in the 305, you don’t just call it the you. I mean, I think you can get away with that. I’m trying to. You know what? I got the papers on that. You got papers on that. Isaiah Wrong had a great career for Jim Larenega down there at the U. Lovely Coral Gables, Florida. Some of the action continues tomorrow on NBA TV, ESPN and the ESPN app. NBA TV tonight has Clippers Lakers at 10:30 p.m. Eastern time. Tomorrow on NBA TV, it’s Minnesota Detroit at 4:30, followed by OKC Orlando and Philadelphia against Washington. Have you seen Trey Johnson from Washington? I have absolutely seen a bucket. I mean, here he has looked at times, I would say, the best player, the most prolific, controlled scorer on the court. That’s exactly what it is, Jones. And of course, I’ve known him since he was in the ninth grade, and he’s been that way since. And again, you know, he talked about really taking the game seriously going through co he spent a lot of time just working on his game in the gym by himself during co and then once it was over, he had a different mentality of how he had fallen in love with the game and it shows in the amount of work that he’s put in and his ability to score in a rock. Yeah, some of the Wizards coaches have already told me they’ve had to shut him down a couple of times this summer and lock him out of the gym. Tremendous. I I personally had to take the basketball away from Trey at the Nike Basketball Academy the last two seasons. You know, you know he hit another one. Oh, but that’s the thing. He walks around with the ball. Even at the draft, the ball that’s sitting on the table, he’s walking around with it the entire time. Every time he gets up to move three-point Miami lead, the corner, that corner three comes off. Bassie battling underneath, but it we’ll go to Johnson and Miami. [Music] [Applause] [Music] Great way to relieve a little ball pressure. Get a screen in the back court. Williams. DHO to Larson. Found a seam. Kicks it back out to Williams. Wonderful movement, but no motion at the end. They come up short on the bucket attempt. 52 seconds to go. Celtics basketball. Shall top around the bassy screen. Whistle foul and a good read that time as the Celtics will get a couple of free throws out of that sequence. Max Schill got Virginia showed pretty good discernment that time and pick and roll action. Of course, he Virginia guy. Well, he he he’s a Virginia guy, but not a University of Virginia guy. So, he actually had an opportunity. No, that that doesn’t count, you know. And I would love to take credit for Max, but uh we won’t we won’t be able to get that. He’s a Virginia Commonwealth University guy. But I will say this, he did play for Ryan Oden, who’s now the head coach at University of Virginia. So, we’ll take that as Larson will absolutely take three and an opportunity for one more great two for one chance for the Heat that turns out in their favor. Larson has really gotten his good offensive rhythm over the last couple of games. One more look. Larson during the season shot 34% from deep has seven here tonight and big summer ahead for him still as fella Larson will play for Sweden in Europe Euro basket. It’s coming up next. I believe this will be Larson’s last game with the Miami Heat. Correct. Yep. [Music] Gonzalez working against Williams. See how tight his handle is here. Made a nice for into the paint, but they turn him over on the move. Whistle and a foul as Golden. Golden will get a couple of shots. Vlad Golden returning to South Florida. of course a member of Florida Atlantic’s Final Four team before spending his last season at the University of Michigan. Now Jonesy, here’s the question. When you have that opportunity, do you take that transition opportunity with 8.6 seconds left or do you pull that one out as a guard to be able to get the last shot? You can you can put your big man in peril by giving him the ball. You can absolutely do so. And again, so when you look at that as a point guard, I’m not sure that’s the right play. It ends up in their favor getting him to the free throw line, but it also gives the Celtics an opportunity to get the basketball back here with eight points just remain. Golden goes one for two. Johnson with the offensive rebound. Plenty of time, 5 seconds. Williams on the drive by sprays it to three. Got it. So just going to work out for the Miami Heat. I don’t think they could have worked out any better for the Miami Heat. So that was a great decision. Javvante Cook cashes out as Miami ends the period on an eight nothing sprint. Back with a second right after this. These dishes just aren’t getting clean. The problem isn’t [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Hey, [Music] [Music] blue. [Music] They were able to go on a little bit of a run there. What’s the key defensively? I think they’re getting way too many offensive rebounds. Just like the end of the quarter right here, offensive rebound on a free throw. All right, we got to take that out. We got to control the margins like we do and we got to do it way better. Thanks for your time. Thank you. Larson off the Iverson cut. Williams out top for a float game. Not a runner, right? I’m not sure. I think the Rick the wrist flicked on that one. So, I’m going to call it a runner, but again, I’d have to go back and look. I don’t think he turned it over. He didn’t turn over. Well, you’re you’re you got better vision than me. I’m nearsighted, so I’m going to take your word for it. $4,000 worth of lasic surgery. Better just underway here in the second quarter. Gonzalez will go to the free throw line. Fouls against Johnson. Gonzalez does play the game with a degree of flare. Comes from his father, Paco, former Spanish pro player himself. Shot only 27% from deep though with Real Madrid. But a great size for a ball handler. Another guy that can be a playmaker for the Celtics. And again, as a young player coming into this league, the physicality, the speed of the game is always going to make a tremendous difference. That’s what summer league is great for, for you get an opportunity to see and just to get a taste of what it’s going to be like. Of course, it will be nothing like this in October. You, you know, just add to it as Kendall Brown shows off his athleticism. What a finish, Cory. Boston back to within five. That’s his first field goal. Williams Larson inside. Larson with the left. Good contest by Bassie. Gonzalez on the move. Lost the handle. Johnson and detonates. But you see the difference in athleticism. Larson goes to the rim on the previous possession, tries to finish around the defender in comparison to KJ Coin and just finishing over top of defenders. The athleticism plays a tremendous part at this level. Passie hands it off the shoulder. Draws the foul and back to the free throw line for the Boston Celtics. Keshad Johnson coming up with the steal and then no one stopping the ball. Jones is the first rule we learn in Bitty Ball. Somebody’s got to stop the rock. However, no one does. And Kesha taking off from right outside of the broken line. I mean just casually 10 feet away from the basket. His two-way contract this past season was converted in December to a standard deal. Once said after shortly signing, he said, “Hey, you know what? Quote, I’m a heat culture guy.” And that’s exactly what he is. And the reason why he was rewarded with that standard contract, of course, the great Pat Riley, Eric Spa, they recognize guys who fit into their culture. You think about, of course, Highmith. You look at so many different players who maybe undrafted or late second round picks who come in and just fit in to what the Heat culture is. And I mean speaking of Yonas Hassel, he was absolutely one of those who of course got his body together and ends up getting winning three rings and playing 20 seasons in Miami. Gonzalez with a clean three off the mark. Yeah, people forget you talked about getting his body in shape. Udonis used to weigh well into the 250 range. What an athletic finish again by Johnson. I believe Udonis was over three. I think he was trying to You’re being generous cuz he’s in the building. I’m not going to call him out. I don’t want I don’t want problems, but I think if you look at him in his Florida uniform back in the day, you see three Bills. Here’s Larson working against Gonzalez. We’re out top and some delay action. Williams. Nice finish at the rim by Marcus Williams. Marcus Williams with his first field goal. This is as good as Miami has looked offensively in a while in this Vegas Summer League, their third game, shooting 55% from the field. It’s been a struggle for Miami on the offensive end as Kendall Brown knocks down the corner three. And again, with his athleticism and ability to defend, that’s the missing piece for him. If he’s able to do that, he could find himself in the rotation for the Celich as well. Williams turn it over. Boston on the move. They got numbers. A threeon two. Massie couldn’t flush it home off the miss. Celtics giving up a fast break here. [Music] Time Boston swing. And I was just talking about Kendall Brown’s athleticism. He tries to lay it up in comparison to dunking it and it turns in to a dunk on the other end as Cook starts to cook already here in this second quarter for the Heat. These dishes just aren’t getting clean. The problem isn’t your machine. It’s likely your detergent. Really? Really? I recommend switching to Cascade Platinum Plus. These new pods dissolve completely, releasing more soaking, scrubbing, and rinsing action. Plus the grease fighting power of Dawn, breaking down up to 100% of tough stuck on foods. That’s impressive. And it works so well, it even keeps your filter clean. Cascade Rotorooer recommended safe for pipes. I got this Wow Skin from a body wash. It’s new. It’s Olay Super Serum Body Wash. Sinks into my skin with five powerful ingredients. It hydrates, firms, smooths, brightens, and evens. That’s five skin care benefits in one for visibly improved skin in 14 days. Look at this Olay difference. So, [Music] [Music] Hey, hey, hey. [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] April of 2023, went for 42 against, of course, the now champion, Oklahoma City Thunder, when he was a member of the Memphis Grizzlies as a rookie. So, scoring has never been a problem for Kenny Loftton Jr. And now it’s simply about finding a spot for him to get back into a rotation in the NBA. But he’s shown that he can be a successful, productive NBA player. Good help defense there by Loftton to cut off Kash Johnson. That three comes off to Walsh. I can remember watching Loftton. You watch a lot of FIFA basketball too, especially at the youth level. Shaman’s jumper is off. In the game between France and USA, Wimby against Czech, it was Loftton that at times might have been the best player on the floor. That’s the kind of potential that he has. And you think about it, Wimby really at that point had his way with Chad, but he couldn’t do anything with Kenny Loftton. And Loftton was doing the same thing to him that he just did to KL Wear, backing him down, getting his space, and knocking him off balance, so he couldn’t even contest his shots. Man, where is holding Loftton like a grudge right now? And Charman says, “I’ll do it from deep.” But those two were battling down low. Well, Kell Wear didn’t like being bullied on that last possession. He’s going to fight back and so the best way to do that is push off as far as he can off the block. Lewis sprays it to the corner. Wild shot is off the mark that time by Cook. Shyman. Nice bounce pass and Wols punches it home. Two positive plays in a row by Baylor Shyman knocking down only his third three-point field goal of the summer league. and then dropping a dime. It’s one thing he’s done very well in the two games is is distribute the basketball where a little casual turned it over on the pass. Loftton tries to go quick and he was held by Cook. Sideline out of bounds. It’ll be Celtics basketball. Good dime here by Shyman. And by Shyman knocking down the three ball coming into this game. Was two of 15 from beyond the ark. Knocks down the three and then drops a dime. Had eight assists the last time out and continues to show his excellent play making. Three assists already for Shyman here this evening. Is it evening? It is evening now, right? Depending on time zone. It’s close enough in the desert. You never really know. This is very true. And no windows in here. Yep. By design. Loftton into the corner. Rims off. Jordan Walsh crashing glass. Couldn’t get it in Lewis. Howard Lewis lost control. It’ll stay Miami basketball. Lewis is I would guess here at summer league safely you could say top three in terms of baseline to baseline fastest guards. I I don’t know. Uh I mean that’s like saying I’m top three and I’m not one. I’m not I’m sorry. I’m not two and I’m not three. I don’t know anyone here in summer league that can cover as much ground as quickly as Kyra Lewis does. And that’s one of the reasons why he was a lottery picked by the New Orleans Pelicans four seasons ago. Walsh with the steel goes the full 94 ft. Too strong. And Vlad with the rebound. That double big lineup on the floor once again. Coach Glass told us they got beat up on the glass last time out so he wanted to make sure he put the two bigs on the floor at the same time. Lewis a little light work had the ISO on Loftton. He’s got four points. Never gave Loft the opportunity to bully him on that one. Just used the jets to get right to the rim. Six-point lead for Miami. Walsh off the screen. Steps back for three. Holden with the board. Larson gets it back. Tough screen by Wear. See what kind of bag work Larson has here. Good cross. Threw up a wild shot though and it gets the Celtics on a break. Twoon one. Walsh. Fouled. Counted. Craig Jordan and got a little something to say. But great concentration by Jordan Walsh recognizing he’s going to get hit. And Stevenson’s a tough guy and he was coming over to deliver a blow, but Jordan Walsh continues to keep his eyes on the target. Able to finish. Didn’t took a little exception. Yeah, he said something to the foul. Little uh lip flipping and ego tripping right there. Why not? It’s a heck of a move by Walsh. But I love the officiating to where the officials get in the way, they separate them, but no technical foul, nothing. They just keep playing basketball. Oh, there were actually offsetting technical fouls. So, take it back. I don’t like it as much. But even still, no advantage either way. That to me is the ultimate bailout call. Offsetting T. Somebody had to instigate. This is true. There was an instigation there. Both of them got one. 341 to go here in the first half. A well played offensive first half by the Heat shooting 54% from the field. Boston just 35 but not that far off. And Jordan Walsh having his best game of summer. [Music] Celtics are going to pick up 94 ft which has been a trend in the NBA overall of late. And I tell I ask you this. and you cover the game as well as anyone. What team do you feel has done it best, especially throughout this 24-25 season? Boy, as there are individuals that do it, but I was really impressed with the way that the Pacers did it. That that’s my answer. And to think about where that team came from defensively a year ago, that coaching job by Rick Carl. Absolutely. And that was my answer. It’s the Indiana Pac starts with Andrew Nhard. I believe they’re going to look at Oh, we’re getting spicy now. But now here’s the question. Jordan Walsh, who just picked up the first technical just got tossed. That’s his second second technical foul as he and Stevenson now have a little bit of a conversation. But as you mentioned, Jordan Walsh, who’s been playing his best basketball here of the summer league, now takes an early exit with 334 remaining here in this second quarter after the two-hand shove. I’m not sure that he’s aware that he’s out. He does now. Well, Sarah Williams actually ca came over with an emphatic ejection. So, if he didn’t know, as you mentioned, he knows now. But it’s the two-hand push. That’s what got him right there. So as Pella Larson returns fire and he braces himself. Give Sarah Williams a lot of credit. You can see here. Boom. There it is. A act. Well, the Celtics just lost their leading scoreer. And right in front of Brad Stevens and the Celtics brass. You could read Brad’s lips in Jordan. Well, and again, you’ve got to be smart in that understanding that you just picked up a technical foul a couple plays ago. And again, and Pella Larson take exception to it, rightfully so, with the two-hand push to send them off out of bounds. Yeah, that is uh an action worthy of throwing hands if you’re Larson. And I know we have unique rules with regards to fouls. You can amass 10 personal fouls in summer league play, but that one there, that’s an automatic ejection on the second T. And the officials reviewing it to see if it was a hostile actor at all. James Griggle, Sarah Williams, and Paul Tumi are officials tonight. Jo, you can’t get kicked out of a game when you’re hooping. I’m just about that. It’s It’s one thing when you’re having a a tough stretch, but when you’re hooping, Jordan Walsh off to a great start in this game. Already in double figures, shooting an efficient five of eight from the field. Already knocking down a three, you can’t get tossed when you’re playing this well. Yeah, no doubt. 38th pick in the draft back in 2023. Forgive me. I He’s up to 13 points. It’s our F. Take one more look at what transpired a moment ago. Jordan Walsh shoving Pella Larson into the front row which included the Celtic brass. After review after the common foul by Walsh, there’s been a double technical foul on Walsh. Walsh and Larson. It’s also Walsh’s second technical foul, so he’ll be ejected from the game. Play will resume from the point of interruption. Side out. Miami ball. 19 seconds on the shot clock. I’d love to know the reason behind Larson who was the victim and the recipient of the contact, why he got it. Well, you see the first technical foul on Jordan Walsh as Stevenson comes in, brings the physicality. Walsh taking exception to it, making sure he goes over and has something to say to Stevenson. Just the shove there. results in the double technical foul, but it’s the two-hand push that Pel Larson takes exception to. And when Larson returns back to the area that I believe that’s what got him the technical foul and of course Walsh standing up to that gets him the ejection inside and a foul as Lewis made his 48 to the basket. So Miami once again sporting their Two bigs look as Kyra Lewis goes to the free throw line. So far, KL Wear with eight points, seven rebounds, two assists. Not to make too early of an adjud a judgment, Cory, but coach has got to be happy about that. Gotta be happy. Still responding, right? Yes. And and again, he’s knocked down two threes. So, we talked about if you’re going to play the two bigs, you got to have one of them has to be a shooter. And Kel Wear showing that he can make that shot, but more importantly, they want to see him on the glass. The reason they’re playing the two bigs is so that they don’t get out rebounded, which they were outrebounded handily in their second game. Right around New Year’s, his season really took off. Averaged 11 points, 56% from the field. Really became an impactful player. Loftton just ran through over Stevenson and that’s going to be an offensive foul. [Music] That’s the first personal foul against Loftton Jr. and and one we talked about Stevenson and how tough of a young man he is. Of course, played for Bob Huggin at West Virginia. You have to be tough to play there with Huggy Bear, but you also have to be tough to step in front of Kenny Loftton Jr. with all that speed coming down the paint. Carson’s three off the mark. Celtics with the rebound and a chance to make this a two-point game. Gonzalez on the cross. Another deep Celtic three. That one rings out and Golden ends up falling a foul on Boston. We’re going to take a timeout and come right back. Unlimited 3% cash back on dining and entertainment with a Capital One Saver card. Let’s just get one of everything. Buy everything. [Music] [Applause] [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] quickly put behind them. Well, you and I had opportunity to actually call the Detroit game when they were in the midst of a 10game slide, which has been the most since Eric Bosch has taken over as a coach of the Miami Heat. So, and again, that game they were in great position until a K Cunningham three-point field goal at the buzzer was able to get them that 10th loss in a row. So, but you know, and we talked with Spo, he learned a lot about himself and his as a coach this year, as well as the guys that they have in their locker room, but he feels as though this is a group that he will go to battle with any time. He loves the character of the guys they have in their organization. Nice move and layup by Pella Larson. He’s got 12 in the ball game. Rebound by Golden. Yeah, I remember coach Bolster lamenting the struggles of the heat during the regular season when we visited with him and he sound like Jay Cole. He was talking about finding beauty in the struggle. You went cold. He did where with a couple pivots and Gonzalez with the rebound with 140 to go now in the first half. Gonzalez had it knocked away by Lewis and the Celtics turn it over. Jones, one thing I’m watching with Gonzalez often times when players come from Europe to the NBA level, I mean summer league especially, they dribble much higher. And again, you’ll see as time goes along, either they learn to get lower, we know low man wins, or they don’t last long. And when you consider the fact that when you’re playing against elite defenders, you got to make sure you get your shoulders lower than the defender. Otherwise, they’re going to have an opportunity to take your can. That handle better be real tight. Foul against Gonzalez on that sequence. First foul in the last two minutes. Sideline out of bounds. 90 seconds to go. Lewis to trigger for Miami. Larson’s been pretty creative with his playmaking and doing it for himself as well. Pass deflected hit the shot clock. It’ll stay down at this end. Pete basketball. That’s a great adjustment by Bassie recognizing that he was close enough to the ball handler which means that the likelihood of anyone be there to tag Kel Wear was slim to none. So Bassie gets his hands on that pass deflection saved two points for the Celtics. Larson rejects the screen now uses it. That one comes off a little bit strong. And that was a floater, by the way. I was watching the wrist to see if it flick. That’s when a floater turns into a runner, right? Especially when they miss. You know, I’m always going to call it out when they miss. You know, you know my disdain for floaters, so I’ll always call it out if it doesn’t go in. So, you prefer the jump stop and shoot? No, not jump stop, but more I just prefer the the wrist to flick. and you guide the basketball to the rim. Again, you spend so much time shooting the ball. Often times with floaters, you leave it up to chance. Of course, there are many people who disagree with my assessment, but they don’t have the microphone. We really don’t with the basketball. That’s my got a violation on the inbound pass. Seventh turnover by the Celtics. Lewis brings it across. Got down the lane. Couldn’t lay it in. Celtics with five on four coming back. Shman walked into the three. Tipped out of bounds. It’ll stay at that end. Don’t mind that shot at all by Sherman. A two for one opportunity. So he gets a good look at it and even though the numbers don’t say so, you’re talking about a great shooter with a wideopen look in transition. Unable to get it to go, but I believe this Celtics will get it back with another two for one opportunity. Matt Reynolds calls timeout and draw one up when we come back. Scared of a little blood. Dr. Garcia. Whoa. [Music] Leading. [Music] All undefeated. And Jones, this is about the time when you decide whether we’re going to go for this thing or not. Once you get to 2 and 0, now you’re looking at, okay, we’ve got a chance to go get the summer league ring. And knowing that, that’s where you see the Celtics right now at 2 and 0 with a guy like Bassie continuing to get more and more minutes as this game goes along because the development and winning becomes important, especially when you’re not really certain as to who is going to be in your rotation once you get to the regular season. Lewis with a deep three behind the screen. We got a whistle and a foul. That’s going to go against the Celtics, putting Miami at the free throw line. Interesting to note, Cory, that Boston hasn’t scored since Walsh was ejected in about three minutes. Took his 12 points with him to the locker room. We’re at the free throw line knocking down the first. a 69% foul shooter on the season for Miami. And I believe that will go way up this season as he becomes more comfortable getting to the free throw line. Of course, you’re talking about a young man who can really shoot the basketball. Has been really a gift of his since he was in high school. He was a three-point shooter in high school, of course, from Arkansas, playing alongside Nick Smith, Jr. in high school. You’re talking about an elite high school team. Those two guys on there, both first round picks. They better have won the state championship. Wear was a big time rebound. Eric Spolster saying that Wear has to embrace and improve his professionalism and consistency. Certainly done it here this afternoon. Larson five on the clock on the blow by. Larson got it on the glass. Count it. The bucket will be good, but I believe they got Kel Wear with two hands in the back of Gonzalez trying to get in and keeping away from the glass. So good. Gonzalez will get free throws on the other end. But you watch Kel Wear as the shot goes up, the two hand shove. Oh yeah, that was an obvious one. Yes, it was. And gives Boston an opportunity. As you mentioned, they haven’t scored in the last close to four minutes. So, an opportunity for them to put some points on the board heading into the halftime locker room. Gonzalez at the free throw line from Spain. Showcased some pretty good versatility in his summer league debut against Memphis with 12 points, five assists, four rebounds, couple of blocks, then sat out the Celtics next game against the New York Knicks. Coach Glass getting Vlad Golden back into the game to make sure the Heat secure a possible miss free throw. Shown that big too big look frequently today. Lewis lets it fly. They’re going to get a foul. Wow. He got fouled on the heave. They’re going to review it. It’s interesting to see as they look at this. Did Golden actually push Gonzalez into Lewis as he’s shooting the basketball. Golden comes up to set the screen and does he actually create the initial contact that pushes that? I believe that’s exactly what it’s going to be. That may be a foul on Golden as they go over and look at it which could give the Celtics an opportunity. I thought Golden was set. You think he was set? He looks set to me. This angle doesn’t show it as definitively as the previous one, but it looked like he was set. The call on the floor is a defensive foul. It’s under review for an end of period foul with no time remaining on the clock. But he pinalled Gonzalez did right into Lewis. I believe what they’re looking at now is whether this action actually happened before the buzzer goes off to determine if there is even a foul on either player because if it goes against Gonzalez you’re shooting three free throws Kyra Lewis. Now talk to me about communication. Should somebody have been talking to him saying screen coming? Yes, that would have been one Baylor Syman who was up and that of course was guarding Vlad Golden. He’s got to be screaming out screen screen. But I believe with that that contact, I can’t imagine how you can keep that foul on Gonzalez. Yeah, but to your point, if Golden was set, then it’s legal. And that would be Ky Lewis shooting three free throws. Miami already leading by 11. Miami still looking for its first win here in Las Vegas. The officials still adjudicating the call. Here’s the final decision. After review, the ball’s released prior to zeros and the defender does not allow him to land to a normal guarding position landing position. Therefore, the foul, it’s going to be three shots with eight on the clock. So, that’s what usually takes a little bit long is determining how much time left on the clock. And again, you love to if you’re going to foul, you want to earn it. Gonzalez is going to be disappointed. He did not earn this foul at all. He was the one that took the most punishment out of all the contact. There’s the new rule this year where a last end of clock, end of period heave is now ruled a team miss. So Kyra Lewis embracing the concept of not not shooting it to avoid getting that missed field goal attempt of your box score and he’s rewarded for it. And that’s a rule that was experimented in the G-League this year. And so therefore, I love that the league has implemented that because it stops guys from really holding it and waiting to see the right the lights go off before you let it go. And more importantly, we can see many more Sports Center top 10 highlights from guys tossing it up from about 60 to 70 ft. Shot must come in the final three minutes of the first three quarters as Lewis knocks down the second. And there’s a look at the heave zone. So anywhere. Wow. From Yeah. Even in the front court. Yeah. And you know, we don’t we know that Steph and Dame actually shoot jumpers from there as Lewis gets offensive rebound. So I believe we will see many more Steph half court pull up three balls. Yeah, that’s the end of the first half. [Music] [Music] [Music] Hey. [Music] Hey. Hey. [Music] Hey, happy [Music] Hey. [Music] [Music] Hey. [Music] Hey. Hey. [Music] Yo, he cut it. Here we go. Good. Coup. We still got that one when we need it. Go right back to that. Hey, Mr. Ref, what’s bonus? 10. Hey, Mr. Ref. 10, fouls. Crazy, Mr. Ref, next one’s bonus. Oh, is it under two minutes? Hey, I’m still learning the rules. Just stay together. We’re We’re We’re moving too fast. Calm down. We got five guards out here. You calm down. Hey, we got to have pace after a lot of go screen. It’s too much one-on-one. That’s not That’s not the type of basketball we’re going to play today. Hey, we just got to get some stops and run. Get some stops, run. Try and play in transition real quick, guys. Great defense on a miss. Remember, we crash on the high side and we pressure. Okay, pressure them. You see, when you pressure, they turn the ball over. Way to settle in. Good job. Good job. When you in stack, they giving a mid-range up so I could drive at you like I drove a deal. Back to sir. Sir. Yeah. My three was a two. Yeah, it was two. Damn. Why you ain’t Why you ain’t tell me? Scoot back. Oh, that’s a prof foul. That’s NBA foul. That’s what matters. Just got to smile a little bit. Just got to smile a little bit. DJ, I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. Stay up. Come on. Get it back. Want to know a secret? More than just my armpits stink. That’s why I use Secret whole body deodorant. Every [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] Hey. Hey. Hey. [Music] By [Music] the way, [Music] Hey, [Music] [Music] Mark Jones. Alexander Vanessa joining us just a moment. When you look at the improvement of Pella Larson going back to the first two games in San Francisco to hear the heat front office has to be pleased with that. You have to be when you consider a guy that’s not only scoring but also playmaking. You think about pellet arson, his ability to get into the painted area, make the right decision, make the right play, and you see showing off his ability to find his teammates, tossing it up, not once, but twice to guys were able to finish around the rim. And then, of course, the presence of mind to use the ball fake, get guys in the air, and it always benefits your team when you’re able to concentrate on the bucket even though you get fouled and not only for three, but add another one to the mix. Well, there’s good a possibility they’ll shut him down after this game. He’ll be heading overseas to play in Euro basket. Larson, three years at Arizona [Music] start the second half. We start the second half with Miami on 11 to one run since the ejection of Jordan Walsh. So, it affected both teams in a positive manner, of course, for the Miami Heat. A negative manner for the Celtics, only scoring one free throw with two seconds remaining since the Walts ejection. Curious to see where the offense is going to come from subsequent to that ejection. Right now, it’s Miami with the ball in possession. Larson in traffic. We’re going to have a jump ball. But that was a heck of a dime. I was just about to say I was shocked to see that KL Wear was able to even sneak that through there, but the defender had his head turned, but he puts it in the perfect position for Pella Larson. Shman is able to get his hands on the basketball, but great vision to see that that pass got through there. By the way, that was a bad toss. Whenever you see it, whatever you’ve got guys on their tiptoes like they’re trying to not fall into the pool. Corner three is good and the Celtics on the board. Miles Norris out of UC Santa Barbara. And Miles Norris stepping in that starting lineup with Walsh out. Pays dividends on the first offensive possession. Johnson’s three is no good. Norris on the bounce being hounded by Stevenson. Catcher to Gonzalez has it rim out and Lewis surveys as he brings it into the front court. Play some zoom action. Lewis tipped away by Miles Norris on the break. Oh wow. What a finish by Miles Norris. The shooter showing some great ball handling skills. And so far for Miles Norris, it’s five to zero. All in Norris favor. An opportunity to make it 6o as he’s able to finish through the contact in transition. Nice English knowing he’s going to get fouled. Able to spin it right off the glass. Eight points, five rebounds for him. about 39% from three-point territory where kept it in play for the Heat. Lewis. Nice hit head to Larson. That lob never made it. Well, maybe it did on the second deflection and Johnson with good hands and awareness. They’ll go to the free throw line for a couple of shots. Johnson got into 16 games as a rookie with Miami. Played a couple more in the playoffs. Spent a lot of his time in Sou Falls, their G-League affiliate, which still amazes me. I know where you’re going with this. It’s not exactly in the backyard, is it? is not in the backyard, but it is the extreme opposite when it comes to climate. Can you imagine getting drafted by the Miami Heat and spending training camp in South Beach and getting that call and say you’re headed to Sou Falls and again great environment in Sou Falls, one of the best, you know, organizations you can imagine. The city absolutely supports the Heat franchise, but man, it’s a difference in climate and a lot of other things, too. to the wing. Shyman for three. After that bad scramble, he cashes out with the three ball. But that’s the second three that the Heat I mean, forgive me that the Celtics have hit in this third quarter already after struggling in the first half. Only four of 21 from beyond the arc. Boy, Larson used the selfch checkout line doing it himself and earned that trip to the free throw strike. Larson has not been shy about getting his jacks up. He’s five of 10 from the field, but when you’re making half of them, it’s not a bad thing. Larson during the regular season, a 67% free throw shooter. Summer League action continues tomorrow on NBA TV, ESPN, and the ESPN app. NBA TV tonight has Clippers, Lakers 10:30. Then tomorrow, Minnesota Detroit starting at 4:30, followed by OKC Orlando and Philadelphia Washington. Bassie with the board. Gonzalez touches painting with the left out of bounds. It’ll stay Boston basketball. But Jones, I like that drive by Gonzalez. You saw him actually get lower, get his shoulders lower than Kashad Johnson and then was able to euroep, get it on the glass, unable to finish it, but that’s the way you want to see your younger players making adjustments. Although he’s 0 for seven from the field, you’ll take attacks to the rim like that. Still looking for his first field goal. Cory, he’s 0 of seven. Charman got to a strong hand. Great block by Johnson. Put that one on pause. a great effort, but that’s why the coaching staff, everyone talks about how he fits into the Heat culture. Gets beat on that possession, but never gives up on the play and uses that tremendous wingspan to be able to come up with a block, denying an opportunity and almost saves it. Speaking of Shire knocks down shot, Arizona guys that guard, have you seen Carter Bryant? I have I haven’t seen him here, but I’ve seen him a lot growing up. Nobody wants to be guarded by him. And Stevenson knocks down a three. Both teams heating up from beyond the arc here now in this third quarter. Good help by Stevenson, the low man. Bassie couldn’t get a hands on a rebound. And it’ll come back. Miami basketball up by eight with 712 to go in the third quarter. Nobody wants to go home wins this, right? No. Not all professionals. No. Hard to get a job with the organization you’re with or anywhere else when you don’t win at all. And now with the way the Celtics are shooting, I believe that’s their fourth three-point field goal made here in this third quarter alone. And Gonzalez finally sees the ball go through the basket. Larson got back tapped. Shman says, “I’ll just pull the three.” That felt good to him though. You saw the way he stood there and watched it. He was ready to strike a post. Yes, he was. Lewis off the drag screen, got to the paint. Bassie with the block and wear with the put back. Wear with an impressive 12 and N stat line so far on double double alert. Shyman off the wide action got to the rim for the layup. Great recognition by Shyman knowing that Wear was going to go for the block shot and Johnson at the other end raising up. Nothing bothers a coach more than getting giving up a layup after a made field goal. Johnson with 11 after that slam. Six minutes to go in the third. And a whistle and a foul. Stevenson coming up limping just a little bit. Favoring his right leg. Miami Heat guard Eric Stevenson out of West Virginia. You talked about his toughness. Spent time with the Caps City Go this year in the GLeague chasing Shyman around that screen. Got the miss and where with the loose ball rebound is 10. One more to the corner. Lewis and that’s going to be a foul on Stevenson. Timeout on the floor. Miami leading by seven when we come back to the pavilion. With Plan B, we control our future. Plan B is backup birth control that helps prevent pregnancy before it starts. Get it in store or order for same day delivery or pickup. Together, we’ve got this. Despite being on an anti-depressant, I was still masking my depression symptoms. My doctor said it could be because my anti-depressant alone wasn’t enough. So, she recommended an add-on. [Music] [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] Heat. [Applause] [Music] Hey. Hey. Hey. It’s solely about what he does defensively. Of course, we know what’s important to Emeoka. You have to defend. They do it at every position, which the reason why the Rockets were the number two seed in the West this year. It’s because of what they did defensively. They did struggle to score in the playoffs, but their defensive effort was there going seven games, of course, with the Golden State Warriors, but Reed Shepard is going to have to do it defensively in order to be in good graces with this head coach. Of course, Kyle Filipki putting up some big numbers as well. Utah in the midst of their rebuild and Lewis into the front court against Wong. We talk about Philipski at the draft in 2024. Kyle Filipowski’s in the green room and before the Boston Celtics, who of course had the best record in the league, make their pick, Kyle Filipki gets up and walks out before the pick is made. That pick was Baylor Shyman. Wow. So now when you consider where the Celtics are today, do you think they could use Kowski in that front court? And even more so, Jason Tatum actually tweeted etched or whatever it’s called now. Whoever passed on flip is going to regret it, not knowing that it was going to be his own team that did so, right? And um they have that Duke brotherhood, right? Yeah, they they’re part of that brotherhood. So Jason is definitely biased when he tweeted that out. But this is a group that possibly could use a guy like Kyle Filipowski on their roster right now. You got to give him time and wear misfiring on the first free throw but a good stat line so far for Khil wear 12 points 11 rebounds couple of dimes and come middle of October we’ll see what it looks like with he and Benabio manning the front court for the Miami Heat that seems to be the way of the future in Miami up front and they had some great moments throughout this season and you know Bam of course you you know, trying to be that leader and give Kel Wear that same tulage that he was able to get from guys like Adonis Hass and of course the veterans Alonzo Morning those of the part of the Heat culture who have continued to help him become an allstar and a gold medalist on the wing inside where faces up against Morris going to try and walk him down. That’s a tough shot. Loftton with the board. Boston has cut it down to five. I could see that one coming. Had that on the radar. Do they have a category on this box score for spikes? They need to have one because this is not a block. That is a spike. Look how quickly the ball hits the floor. Was it in? Yeah. Okay. face. Back out to Loftton directing traffic. Shyman on the DHO. Back to Loftton. And that’s going to be a foul. No one stepped out of bounds. Thought he got pushed. So heat possession. Nine turnovers now for Boston. Cook brings it across. Stevenson with a quick three. And here’s Loftton [Music] Norris on the baseline. Had it taken away. Going to stay Boston basketball. Miami Heat. Uh looks like they’re going to sit yakonis today. It’s Jaconis. Yeah, they talked about Casper Jaconis who has played in every game to this point. They felt as though he may be getting a little worn down. Of course, want him to be able to finish this summer league. And when you consider that this is very well could be the last game for Pella Larson, Yakatunis would come right back into that role of having to be a playmaker. So giving him the rest in what is a backto back today for the Heat. There he is right there. The rookie out of Illinois via Lithuania. He struggled in the California Classic cumulatively just one of 15 from the field, but it was good to see him bounce back early here in Las Vegas. And missing another member of their lineup, the guy right to his right, Myron Gardner, who was a spark plug for the G-League champion, Stockton Kings, and had a number of great performances as Gardner is dealing with a finger injury. And so yeah, suffered that in San Francisco at the California Classic. Yeah. But coach Glass is hopeful that they may get him back here before the end of this summer league. But he’s another guy that fits right into the Miami Heat. Absolutely love. Tremendous, tenacious defense, elite athleticism, and he’s got the right mentality to fit right in Miami. Loftton at the free throw line. Chris Quinn sitting beside Eric Spoler. Quinn was interviewed for several head coaching jobs this past summer. One of the bright young minds in the business. I went over and had a conversation with him today. I said, “I told the world told Spo I told the world that you were skipping leg day.” Uhoh. And and he was like, “No way. No way.” And of course Chris Quinn says, “You know what? He calls leg day running.” There you go. Spo having no parts of that. I’m going to go with Spo on that one though. I know he’s putting in the work on leg day. And of course, our guy got Tough Juice, Karan Butler, whose son JC on the roster. Go. Brown on the drive. Got the layup. Tough move. Lead is down to four. He’s got seven in the game. Larson off the golden screen. Snakes it. Got back tapped but fouled. Foul’s going to go against Shyman. Just his first. We talked about the fact that in summer league action here, you’re allowed 10 fouls. There actually been a couple guys that have fouled out. I remember one of them. Fawn Maker. A big time move underneath by Johnson. Yeah, nice adjustment by Johnson. really turning his back to the defender, going with the reverse layup to shield him off and not give him an opportunity to block his shot. Brown rips through. Here’s Loftton. Shyman. Nice pocket pass to Loftton. Got it. Pretty basketball there, Cory. It really was. And Loftton taking what the defense gave him that mid-range pull up. A lot of organizations don’t like it. I still love it when especially when it goes in. [Music] Good active hands by the Celtics to knock it away. Eight on the shot clock for Golden. Johnson out front. Got downhill. Andro draws the hit. [Applause] The Celtics and Loftton have whittleled it down to a two-point game when we come back. Is your cleanser actually stripping your skin? For a deep clean without the harsh sulfates found in traditional cleansers, try Olay Cleansing Melts. Only Olay has this patented cleansing technology. [Music] Hey. [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] for their body fat percentage tests that they run on players every couple of weeks. And there are consequences if you don’t hit that number. Consequences, repercussions, and repercussions. Repercussions. What happens the second time, Jones? I was actually a part of the Heat organization for three days. A mini camp after my first year in what was then the D-League, not the G- League, but the D-League in 2003. They brought in 30 players. Only two of us finished all six practices, two a days for three straight days. Pat Riley came down and talked to all of us. And Eric Boser was very young in the organization at the time, but Pat Riley came down and talked to us and he called out the fact that it was myself and Devin Brown, the only two players that finished every practice. And of course, I thought I had a great shot. Then they drafted some guy by the name of Wade. And that pretty much ended my opportunity. They missed out on you, man. They got the wrong guy. Going to be a traveling violation. Ended up being a great move by the Heat organization. kind of worked out for them down in Wade County. Mhm. Eric Spolster, the former video room assistant. I used to play pickup basketball with Eric at the Eden Rock Hotel every Wednesday. Mhm. Wasn’t sure I was on his team and I’m sure he was super competitive. He could shoot that thing. Oh yeah. Former player at Portland. Larson. Great defense. Sh. They got a twoon-one with Loftton wrote a wild shot. He’ll go to the free throw line prepared. You know, even though Sharman’s shooting hasn’t been what he’s expected, he’s really done the job defensively. You’ve seen that he’s grown and recognizing what is going to allow him to get playing time for the Boston Celtics once we get to the fall. And a great job and a great example of it right there, just picking the pocket of Pel Larson, not giving him an opportunity to even use his crossover. missing the first free throw. Sherman, first round pick for Brad Stevens. He was the first firstrounder for Brad since he became team president in 2021. 30th pick a season ago. Fullourt pressure by the Celtics. Lson has cleared out. I got this. Williams for three and one and done for the Heat. Boston last led when it was 11 to eight. That’s for the lead and it comes off to Cook. Cook with a little bit of pace. Golden with the DHO. Cook for three and that’s way off. Good hustle by Johnson. That’s going to come back the other way. Couple subs coming into the ball game. KL Wear back in for Miami. [Music] Gonzalez getting ready to check back into the ball game for Matt Reynolds, summer league head coach for Boston. Pass out top. Nice feed inside. That’s going to be a foul called as Shoga went to the paint hard. Nice find from Bassie at the top of the key and a great cut by Shoga after I believe it was Cook tried to deny him defensively just cutting back door and of course when you talk to NBA coaches they’ll talk about how much cutting and how important cutting is to each and every offense. One of our coaches today I believe told us that they were the one of the best cutting teams in the league. No, I take that back. that I had an opportunity to talk with Kenny Atinson earlier today and he was talking about the Cleveland Cavaliers and was talking about their cutting efficiency and I I knew I’d heard it somewhere earlier today and again it’s an interesting metric. It is I mean again but you know Kenny Atinson they they have an analytic for everything and he believes in it. He uses it extremely well. Interesting to see what it’s going to look like for Jordan as former assistant and offensively how the Suns play this year with the Atinson influence. Yes. Kenny was talking about his influence. Wow. And where he really grabbed all of his influence from the different coaches that he’s worked with. So, as you talk about Jordan Knaut and the guys that he’s been around throughout his time as an assistant and how that develops on the floor, we’ll see the Suns next. Maybe we see a little bit of that. 20 seconds to go in the third. Williams out top. [Applause] Larson tries to sneak the screen. got fouled from behind by Gonzalez. There have been times today where Gonzalez just can’t seem to get out of his own way. But he give, you know, Pel Larson a lot of credit right there. Once he gets his shoulders in front of the defender, then just puts him in jail. Doesn’t allow him to get back around. And Larson wondering why he’s not shooting free throws cuz I believe they’ve got it corrected. I love the term that Phil Handy uses for that move when you come off this. He calls it a hostage dribble. Yeah. Mr. 94 ft a game. One of the best coaches in the business. Yep. Congrats to Phil Handy. Now a member of the Dallas Mavericks staff, reuniting with Kyrie Irving, Anthony Davis, who he won a championship with in 2020. So my god, Nico Harrison bringing Phil Handy into the mix. A lot of expectations. Oh, great things happening in Dallas. Also, we got to think about D’Angelo Russell who, you know, was with Phil Handy with the Lakers as well. They were going to the Western Conference Finals, I believe, in the 2023 season. Off the free throw, Miami back up by two. Six seconds to go in the period. See what kind of shot the Celtics get. They tried to throw it inside. Bassie with a good catch. Count it in traffic. He appeared to get it off in time and by rule they will review the call and the bucket because the ball went through the net as the buzzer sounded. Let’s take another look. Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. N. [Music] [Applause] [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] All right, back to the pavilion for the start of the fourth quarter. Shut into the front court. Bridges hands it off to the shooter Miles Norris gives it up and our first turnover of the fourth quarter. And those are the ones you just you hate to see simply because you got to know where you are on the court. And again, it’s not as though you’re in the, you know, all the way in the corner. You’re still above the break right there. Got to make sure of your awareness on the court. Williams lives it up and caught a body underneath. And that’s another one of those plays. If you’re bassy and you can’t get a hand on that basketball, there’s got to be someone there to tag Kell Wear. Keep him away from taking off cuz once he gets in the air, there’s nothing you can do about it. Miami back up by two. Cha. They show him two bodies. He found the open guy. That’s good basketball. It really is. And getting to Bassie in a spot where he has great touch right around the rim to be able to drop the two. Bassie shows hard. Stays on Williams. Tough pass. Never made it. It’ll stay Miami basketball. Jones, you got to love having an athlete like this. I used to run this with Antonio Mcdice aka McNice. And you can throw it anywhere just like Williams does. just toss it up in the air and when you’ve got an athlete like Khell wear or Antonio McD that matter you can just put it up in the air they’re going to take care of business vertical spacing hook from out rebounded by Shman Boston with a chance to take the lead here Gonzalez finds atonement and redemption with the three ball his second field goal of the game and I believe both of them from they’re beyond the three-point line so not getting anything to go in the painted area but knocking down two threes. Williams with that Nash dribble. Nice slot cut by Cook. Couldn’t make the catch. Bassian Williams wrestling for the ball. Williams took a little exception to that one. But, you know, as a as a point guard, one thing’s for certain, and and I’m speaking from experience, you really don’t want problems with that big fella right there. Especially with both of you on the floor right here, he does not like the left arm being wrapped around a little a little exchange right there. here. And again, you know, when you when you’re 6 feet 61, you got to show your toughness, but you got to make sure your teammates are around to get in between you and that big fella. It’s called making good decisions. Oh, yes. Yes. So, decisions. Miami looking for its first win of summer league. Boston trying to remain unbeaten at 2 and 0. Bassie gave Shouba a little bit of nonverbal communication. Let’s see if he tries to smack this ball down and give Shoga a run to the rim. Fast break. Williams, you’re not allowed to do that. Stepped out of the circle. That is smart but illegal. Side out of bounds. Boston basketball. Williams asking the officials, “Do I have to jump?” No, you don’t have to jump. You just can’t catch the basketball. Passing set a screen and an illegal screen for Shyman. So it’ll come back the other way with Miami down by three. Another good one coming up after this. The Phoenix Suns take on the Sacramento Kings. Williams being hounded out front. Turns the corner and the time drop never made it. Gonzalez going to dial up another one. That one’s strong. [Applause] Larson in rhythm. a little bit short where it showing off that soft touch right in front of his coaches. Yes. And of course they know he can do that. I’m sure we’ll see much more of that this season. They want to make sure he’s doing all the tough stuff as well as he shows off his finesse on the perimeter. 17 points, 11 rebounds on a perfect three of three from deep. [Applause] Shyman with a local three. Great bounce and put back by Gonzalez. Wow. An imperious athlete. And his first two-point field goal of the game. So Gonzalez going in there mixing it up on the offensive rebound. Showed us a little something with that bounce. Where has that one come off? Boston up by two. Crosscourt never made it. Williams to Cook in traffic and that’s going to be an offensive foul. Now that’s one I believe I would have to challenge. Okay, as you see that one and again just from the naked eye it does not look as though and he’s not even turned square taking that as he’s turning this his body. Sometimes when you hustle you get rewarded and there you go. I believe that’s going to be our challenge or not. They’re going to challenge the call on the floor, which was a charging call against Miami. 649 to go when we come back. NBA 2K26 Summer League is proudly sponsored by NBA. [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] Heat. Heat. N. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] in basketball. [Music] Still have a little bit of a delay for whatever reason at the scores table. Maybe it’s a clock issue. figuring out how much time should be on the clock. Some of these players will end up playing in Maine this year, others in Sou Falls. Talking about the difference, Miami and S. It’s tough to get some good oxtail rice and beans in Sou Falls. I’m just saying I will say that the main climate is very similar to Sou Falls, but I was told by a little birdie that there’s great ice fishing in Sou Falls. Oh man. Yeah. Okay. Got a wealth of knowledge over on your left right there. On those off days. On those off days. Still waiting to resume play and Charman obviously took a shot in the nose at some point during this game. didn’t quite see when or how it happened, but well, you may have heard the announcement. They are checking out a discrepancy in the score. As we look at that, we talk about a discrepancy in field field goal attempts. The Celtics have 13 more shots than do the Miami Heat. The Heat with 18 turnovers. And that’s one of the things that coach Glass talked to us about. They had 25 in game two. So, that’s the area where they really struggled and allowed Boston to get back this lead. Boston’s first lead got their last lead before taking over I believe at 77 to 74 was when they led 11-8 early in this game. So, the turnovers have aided the Celtics and allowed them to jump out to a two-point lead. If this is the correct score, there is a discrepancy that’s being discussed right now. It’s always wild how if it is corrected so many people can miss it for so long or not. Lot of the heat brass in attendance. Mr. 305. Udonis Hasslam does a great job of course on NBA today in studio coverage on our ESPN family of networks. Played his high school basketball right there in the bottom. Dade County Miami Senior High at the Asylum. We call it the asylum down there. Miami Senior High. I actually beat them in high school, believe it or not. Wow. You know who was on their staff as assistant coaches? move. Frank Martin and Anthony Grant. How about that for for Oh, Shaky Rodriguez. I played against my guy Steve Edwards. Back in the day, we played him in the great Florida shootout. My Oakill team actually beat three top five teams in that tournament alone. One of them being Simon Gratz with my brother Rasheed Wallace. Yes. So, great tournament back in the day, but of course, we warriors went home with 52 in the period. It was a close two three. We ruled it a two on the floor. There was a scoring error. They put up three points. We just confirmed that it was a two-point field goal. That discrepancy now fixed. So we are landing at 7877 not 7977. And of course, you know, the officials are very meticulous about taking care of every single detail like this and not just letting it slide because, you know, Bonnie McCutchen and his crew, they’re here evaluating, observing a lot of these officials from the G- League and like everybody else with abundant ambition looking to make a move and get their way into the league. Absolutely. I saw Monty yesterday sitting at the top of the stands. Wasn’t even sitting with the remainder of the officials. But hard to recognize Monty at times when he doesn’t have on a bow tie and the guy is he is the drip god of NBA officials. It’s not even close. Not even close. Baseline Stevenson cut off. Shot clock down to 12. Lewis out front [Applause] around the staggered screens. Lewis. The floater is good. Going off the right foot still with the right hand across the body. Great touch by Kyra Lewis especially to stay poised as the shot clock is going down. What do you make of the way he’s run the Heat offense too? I think he’s done a tremendous job and coach Glass you know spoke very highly of Kyra Lewis coming into the game and feels like he’s a guy that can truly fit in to their culture. Of course, they’ve got a guy DaVon Mitchell resigned and most likely will be in that six-man role where he thrived down the stretch for the Heat this season. What an addition he was after the trade from Toronto. There aren’t many better onball defenders in the league than DaVon Mitchell. Tell you what, he absolutely took over the playin game that got the Heat into the playoffs in the overtime period, knocking down multiple threes and we’re so happy to see him have success in a new home and rewarded for it. Johnson on the run. That’s the second time we’ve seen that happen to the Celtics. An alert heat team taking advantage of Boston and that’s something that Matt Reynolds will absolutely address with his team in their film session tomorrow. Austin running that horns out that thumb out action there for Shyman. Loftton pulls the three. Smooth looking stroke by the big man. Oh, he’s got it. No question about it. There is not an offensive tool that Kenny Loftton Jr. does not have in his arsenal. Harson got back tapped. Johnson kept it in play. Or did he? I believe they got the foul on Shoga on that one. Diving in. Austin up by two. 446 to go. It’ll be Miami Heat basketball. Isaiah Wong coming into the ball game for Boston along with Kendall Brown who was with the Long Island Nets. Long spent some time with the Pacers recently. Stevenson one-on-one on the way. Good screen by Wear. Rolls out of it nicely. Great execution and nice finish by Wear. Couldn’t get all the way to the rim to dunk it. So, shows off that soft touch. A little bit of a finger roll. This is the Khil wear that Eric Spolster would like to see on a nightly basis in terms of effort and consistency. Shyman with a big time rebound. Loftton again. That’s a big body folks. Yeah, he’s not going to be denied. He gets that close to the rim. And again, you as Shyman gets caught for reaching once again and that’s been a part of what we’ve seen from Baylor Shman throughout this game. Often times it’s worked for him. It worked a couple possessions ago to get the steal. But I’m pretty certain that Joe Mazula is not going to teach that type of defense once he gets to training camp. No. This season. Boston was a top five rated defense last year. Larson bringing it up against pressure. Nice pocket pass. We wear on a hard roll. Put it up off the bounce. Almost got it back and a slap there by Johnson. But give Kel Wear tremendous credit. Even though he doesn’t get that offensive rebound, he really dislodged two Celtics players, knocking him out of the way, making it possible for Johnson to come in and pick up the loose with good force here today. Loftton with a nice pass inside and a reverse by Kendall Brown. [Music] Stevenson spins, pulls, and left it on the front rim. Looks like he got hit in the nose. Loftton with the lob. Couldn’t quite connect. Miami with a chance to top. Lewis calls for the screen. Long goes over the top. They switch it. Lewis with the mismatch. blue attire. Norris. Wow. Another nice finish and a Kendall Brown. Four-point swing. Simply because when if you’re Kyra Lewis and you recognize Loftton’s guarding you, that means there’s no one with size to defend Khlo Wear at the rim. And in comparison to trying to go one-on-one and beat Loftton, you bring that back out. View the floor and see how you can find a way to get it into We’s hands. allow him to get a bucket. And in contrast, it turns into the breakaway that allows the Celtics to build a four-point lead. [Music] [Music] Heat. Hey. Hey. Hey. [Music] [Music] Hey baby. [Music] Watch Tina work out at Stan Rey’s gym and South Florida there in Miami. Man, she puts the time in and it’s been a big key in her longevity and productivity. Lewis with the open three. Johnson was crashing glass. Couldn’t get there. The zone on that possession worked for the Celtics. Whistle and an offensive foul as Pella Larson stood in there and took one in the chest. And just a smart play by Pella Larson to recognize Kendall Brown out of control even though he’s able to deliver that pass to the corner. Not able to hit the brakes. Runs Larson over and takes away an opportunity for the Celtics. This time Boston goes back to man-to-man defense. There’s the longer and there’s the finish and great execution right there. the screening action, but more importantly looking for where and recognizing that Boston is back in that man-to-man knowing exactly what they want to go to. Two-point Celtic lead. Two minutes to go. [Music] Norris on the drive. Tough bucket. And when he extends, he’s listed at 67, Cory, but saw his length really pay dividends there. Yeah, you see great wingspan, more importantly the touch right around the rim to be able to get that over top of a defender and finding nothing but the bottom of the net. One time teammate of Celtic Payton Pritchard at Oregon in the 2019 season. Celtics with great balance. They’ve got seven players in double digit scoring. Johnson from the wing got it. And that’s where Johnson has really added to his game as a professional. Again, you can no longer leave him. And often times you’ll find teams they will not help off that ballside corner but they’re daring Johnson to make that shot and he proves he can. Gonzalez snakes it got it knocked away by wear in traffic. Twoon one for Miami Johnson. Larson bucket and one lethal in transition. But immediately you talk about heat culture. Keshan Johnson immediately gets beyond half court to dap up KL Wear because Wear started this bucket defense turning into offense because of Wear’s ability to deny the opportunity at the rim. It allows Johnson to get out in transition and finds Pella Larson who takes a little break after getting the lead back. Well, Larson has 21. Johnson has 22 where with 21. And now Larson with double deuces. And Miami back up by deuce. 117 to play. Gonzalez being hounded by Lewis. [Music] Bassie on the dribble handoff. Brown with a pocket pass back to Bassie. Comes off and a good board by Stevenson. It’s grown man rebound by Stevenson in there amongst the trees. Larson on the sticks with the handle guarded by Gonzalez and we’re going to have a foul on the play against the Celtics and that’s going to put Pella Larson on the free throw line. And if this is indeed his last appearance in the NBA 2K Summerland, then it goes in the books as a pretty good one for him, Cory. It really does. And again, when you talk about the numbers, you just mentioned them. 22 for Lawson. An opportunity to add more, 22 for Johnson, 21 for wear. This is how I’m sure Eric Bolster and the Miami Heat staff scripted the way they wanted summer league to go. They want these three guys to be their features because each of the three can be in the rotation for them. They have to show that they can consistently perform whenever they step on the court, especially here in summer league. Knocks down the second as well. Lead up to four. Two possession game. Loftton will bring it across. Got wear on the perimeter. A little inverted ball screen action. They got the switch into the corner. Sherman, man. He put Wear on a flight and cashed out with the three. It’s down to a onep possession game here. Big bucket [Music] wide open. Larson thought about it. Smart play by Larson. Even though it would have been a great look, doesn’t take it. Wants to make sure they use more clock. Got Bassie one-on-one. does a little lab work up at the rim right to Stevenson just the way that Jordan with 10.1 to go the heat up by four. We talked about his toughness and he makes a tough bucket knowing that he’s up against the gun has to shoot it as the shot clock is going down. Great job defensively by Norris coming over. However, Stevenson up to the task and knocks down a big three. Did your streaming expire when you least expect [Music] [Music] [Music] Hey. [Music] Hey. Hey. [Music] seconds to go at the pavilion in Las Vegas. The Miami Heat on the cusp of registering their first win of summer. And a big bucket a moment ago by Eric Stevenson out of West Virginia. A 26-y old played for the Spurs and Wizards the last two summer leagues and this past year with the Capital City Go. He might have put a little bit of money on tape today. I do believe he has. And you love his defensive effort. the way that he stands up to the test guarding guys, even bigger guys defensively, but shows off his toughness time and time again. But his biggest play of the game absolutely has been that three. Celtics got to go quickly. Charman drives it in. He’ll take the two. Miami has a foul to give. Boston doesn’t. Each team with a timeout remaining and Stevenson is going to burn one right there. You’re not sure. I’m a little surprised that Miami didn’t actually burn it as soon as the ball went through just to advance it into the front court to make sure that a turnover doesn’t turn into a bucket. Only up two, so you don’t want to have a turnover. An easy layup ties the game. Maybe they’re aware of our programming commitments. We got another good one coming up next, folks. Phoenix taking on the Sacramento Kings right after this game here in Las Vegas. Get a good look at Nick Clifford, the first round pick of the Sacramento Kings. Extremely versatile, extremely dynamic, and a guy that uh it’s really tough to put in any kind of box him against Phoenix. Garo and Malawatch actually sat yesterday. So looking forward to seeing him in his return to action. Shocked that he was he was still around for the 10th pick. But I also know who represents him and I probably shouldn’t be shocked. of the game. My God knows how to get guys in the right spot. Let’s just say that. Amen. 4.6 to go here. Heat up by two. Seen a lot of crazy endings in summer, so don’t sleep on the next 4.6. They’re going to use the advance. [Music] And you give so much space to your best free throw shooters by putting Johnson and Wear in the back court. So now look at all the space that Stevenson and Larson have to move. Turn it into a three-on-ree game basically. But it it may I mean again it’s such a smart play because when you’ve got nine players including the person guarding the basketball in the front court it takes away the amount of space you have to work with. So great design by coach Glass to really get guys out of the way and allow Stevenson and Larson to play twoman game. These are the two guys they want shooting free throws at this point of the game. So you allow to make basically one of those two guys is going to get the basketball. Stevenson has to make two here to make it a two- possession contest. 91% foul shooter knocks down the first. He leads all Miami players in summer league with eight three-pointers and hit a big one from the corner a moment ago. Went four for four in his heat summer league debut. And if he makes this next one, it pretty much means lights out. Miami with three different players in double figures. Four actually, three of them with 20 or more. And Stevenson makes it a four-point game. Still 3.7 remaining. Matt Reynolds will draw up something and advance the basketball to get his team into the front court. You talked about that inbound, sideline, out of bounds formation. We’ve seen more and more of that. Am I right? Oh, we have absolutely years. Yes. And a lot of times where you put a player, it used to be just one guy in the back court. You have him come off a little screen at midcourt coming downhill. But so many different ways where my my point they’re using more of the court now, right? Well, and what makes it so difficult is if you don’t go and honor those guys, it gives you an opportunity to throw the ball to a Keshad Johnson or a Koulware. But more importantly, think about how much time it takes to get to those guys to foul them. If you’re going to be in the front court, by time you run down there, you’ve lost 3 to 4 seconds off the clock. And again, it’s already taking place with, you know, less than 5 seconds. So, you can pretty much lose a ball game just like that. You have to honor it. Let’s take a look at the standings up to the minute here in the NBA 2K26 summer league. Hawks and Hornets now improved to 3-0. Spurs and Raptors, Pistons, Thunder all at 2 and 0. And the Celtics on the verge of losing their first of summer league. Point differential important in the tiebreaker. Kind of like what we see in the NBA Emirates Club. Yes. where guys get their feelings hurt because they think the other team’s running up the score. No, they’re not. They’re just trying to handle that point differential. I love it. I always say, don’t play sports if you don’t want your feelings to get hurt. Well, again, I mean, somebody’s got to lose, right? Your feelings should hurt when you lose. And I’ll tell you about it, too. Well, of course you are. 3.7 to go. Gonzalez will inbound. The good Lord didn’t give you the gift of gap for no reason, man. They do on this inbound. Shman with a decent look and that’ll do it. We wear and the Miami Heat win their first game of summer league 100 to 96. And where was Clutch?
