So, could the Golden State Warriors be trading away Jonathan Kaminga to the Philadelphia 76ers this 2025NBA off season? But this trade would see the Golden State Warriors receiving Quinton Grimes and the Philadelphia 76ers receiving Jonathan Kaminga. So this trade idea is pretty intriguing because it would be a double signing trade for both sides. Now there has been a lot of speculation this offseason regarding Jonathan Kaminga’s future in Golden State. All signs point towards him probably getting traded at some point prior to the start of the 202526 season. But the longer this kind of goes on the uh the speculation kind of goes away a little bit. So could this happen? Potentially, could it not? I guess only time will tell. But my personal opinion is that Jonathan Kaminga will be playing somewhere else by opening night. Now, could that be Philadelphia? I’m not 100% sure because what Kaminga is sort of looking for and his agent sort of looking for is for him to go to a team that maybe isn’t great where he could be more of a focal point of the offense, put up some pretty good stats and really show his worth that way. Now, if he were to go to the 76ers, he would sort of be buried behind uh some current players on this roster in the form of Joel Embiid when he comes back from his injury. uh he of course is a pretty big point uh pretty pretty big part of that franchise but also to Tyrese Maxi and then if Jared McCain comes back from his injury as well uh they also drafted VJ Edgecomb where does Kaminga sort of fit and truthfully speaking it’d be a cool thing for him to have a change of scenery but if he were to go to Philadelphia he’s sort of in the same spot in my personal opinion so maybe not a great destination there uh from the Sixers perspective now uh from the Warriors perspective at this point Jonathan Kaminga is pretty much as good as gone so if you’re able to recoup a good young talent in the form of Quinton Grimes. He can add some more depth to the team. I think that he actually would actually, you know, probably fit this team pretty well in more of a secondary role. Like obviously he’s not going to be starting on this team if he were to go to if he were to go to Golden State, but if he could take more of maybe a six-man role on this Warriors roster, this could be a perfect thing for both Quinton Grimes and the Warriors moving forward in 202526. So, if I had to pick a winner for this deal, I’m going to go with the Golden State Warriors. But, as always, leave your thoughts.
