Am I the only one that didn’t know the Suns could dominate this hard? 111 to 87. Yeah, this is real. Let’s break it down. In Las Vegas at Cox Pavilion, the Phoenix Suns ran wild against Portland, crushing them 111 to 87. Khalif Battle and Boogie Ellis were an unstoppable duo, dropping a combined 40 points and draining eight threes. Battle led with 21 points, four rebounds, and five assists. Ellis 19 points, five boards, six dimes. The Suns blew it open with a 30 14-second quarter and led by as many as 28. They shot a sizzling 51% from the field and 42% from deep while forcing 20 turnovers and nabbing 14 steals. CJ Huntley added 18 and N and Alex Schumacher gave the bench a spark with 16 points and six assists. Ray and Rupert fought for Portland with 14 points and eight rebounds, but it just wasn’t enough.
