BEST ORLANDO MAGIC PLAYS FROM 2025 SUMMER LEAGUE!
the possessions are going to be dominated by Apollo and France. Those are your two best players. That’s who you play through. And so those other two guys have to one be great positionally from a defensive standpoint. He’s a really good basketball player. Understands how to impact winning and sharing that knowledge there. What we know. Leier shares that knowledge with Raino. Yeah, he shared it with us. Orlando. Was that a Was that a wee wee? That was a wee wee. That was the French Revolution is what it is. That was Oh, no. So, they’re older than the Oklahoma City Thunder if you will. Henda with the big body finish. Another Frenchman. Yeah, Dy, to your point, like you need to get confirmation that your guys are ready. Yes. For you to make the move. 240 to go here in the first half. Thompson on time. Professional scorer Ethan Thompson. Thompson two for two from long range. He also has four fouls already in the first. That was the most out of rhythm shot. Penda inside to Kelly. Nice interior passing. How about the vision there about Penda? Good ball movement by the Orlando Magic. Penda. Penda. Penda inside with a nice The Magic having struggles getting something going. Crutcher backto back threes says, “I got us.” Reestablish the direction his career was headed. Crutcher hit two threes so far in the third quarter. Kind of got the Magic stagnant offense going. Looking for a bucket here. Pass Leier off the glass. I’m going to give him a No, not a shot attempt. He threw it off the glass for him. G, give me a dime. Oh yeah, that that actually does look like a pass. Yeah, I I’m taking it. I’m going with pass. Two second difference between a shot clock and a game clock. So the Magic could get another shot up. Stevens the ball fake. The Bissier eraser Jones dangerous in transition. Vans Reo inside and he is denied by Moore. Window Moore said not on my watch. Was incredible. Averaged 26 in those five G-League games. Richardson for three. And that’s how it ends with the rookie cashing in from outside. Chase Richardson. A side step. He’s got a great shot fake and he gets that hand in the ball and nails it. And they’re really guarding out on the perimeter, but Noah Penda gets two to start things off for the Magic. He got his first two points against the Magic when he was playing for the Timberwolves back in the 22 23 season. Richardson attacks and scores through contact. He can get to the rim. He can turn both hips to cross this. Now he takes it, gets the hand off. They slide under, but he drops the shoulder. Goes into the contact. Finishes through his eyes. Here is Williams showing off the athleticism. They hit ahead for Moore and a two-hand flush. That only enhances him even more, but you can tell he has changed his approach defensively in a big way in the last two years. He always defended shed. Dilva takes it away. Numbers for Orlando. Dilva in the lane. gets two and a chance at three. And that’s exactly what you want if you’re the magic bench over there with Tristan Dil. He takes his time, comes down the middle of the floor, breaks it down, puts it in his left hand, finishes through with contact, finishes with his eyes, knocks it down. That that’s what that’s what you want out of Dilva. How aggressive can he be attacking the paint constantly on the break and they hit the wings more than they hit over the top. But he became a really good transition shooter. Gets a speed set. That’s what I love about Jason’s shooting. Thompson cleaned up by Penda. Corner and there he is knocking it down. Another great play. Engaging and everybody else, but he got better yesterday. I didn’t think there was any question about that. Take away Dilva. He puts it in again. 18 points for Tristan Dilva. He kept his drive going, attacked you with his shoulders and drove it. And now he knows they go under like that, he’s got to be able to get to the step back, make that three. Richardson, that’ll count. It’s an and one on the continuation for Jace Richardson. Jace is very comfortable. Drops that. Look how low he gets. Drops that shoulder. Puts it out. Shoots it high. Richardson pounded by Walter. That’s the story of the game. He got the shot anyway. Going right. Good play by Richardson. That was excellent defense. Played in the French top league in 2024. And he drives. goes right at Wolf and the foul. Averaging five rebounds a game. Yeah. And and again getting to the back. Moore. Shot clock down to four. Creates down the lane. Hayes and hits off glass. Nets do have a foul to give. And the loose ball. Samuel dives for it. Aens picks it up. Wow. And a pretty finish. Wendell Moore Jr. 2421. Ball on the floor. You know a Spartan’s going to come up with it. Yeah, the damage at the free throw line. Pendas back in. He had the big first quarter. Five on the shot clock. Three by Alis Williams. But Alis Williams again is another guy he’s had time in the NBA. Dicks turns down the Kelly screen, turns the corner, gets by Samuel Haynes off glass and in with 7/10 of a [Applause] [Music] Freemantle out of the double. Alandis Williams sets up a corner three down the well. It goes to Wind Penda size advantage. Alandis Williams for three. Bango. Oh, Aladis Williams drops in the three and it’s a one-point as they have rallied from 23 down away. Freemandle gives way to Crutcher. Crutcher step back three. Got it. [Applause] Either way, glass half full. When Delmore Jr. saw a match up he liked and attacked it baseline. Great job there. You drive against a big stopped our first segments. The Mavericks and the Magic out and running early. Whether it’s Monero, Vagner, Suggs, they couldn’t get on the court together, right? Getting that trio together. I feel like that’s the refrain we’re talking about with so many of these teams. Great move here again. Wendale Moore Jr. just and getting in the paint, finding guys more creating with a short clock and he gets all the way home. Spots as good as advertised. We talked about him in the open. He has not disappointed, but he’s got to find some help. He definitely feels he belongs. And a lot of these guys, it’s going to take, you got, like we said, we’ve been saying all weekend, you got to invest in your journey, whether it’s a couple years in the G-League. Jaden Akens has the rebound. Jason’s teammate just chatting with us. This time, Kyler Kelly skies to bring it down from the Raptors. Look at the vision there where he throws it from. Great job by Kelly knowing where he is, catching him. And Matt Cross is a guy that I know is not affected by this pace. He played at SMU and they played at one of the faster paces in the country. Lance Terry brings it for the magic. partake. And a nice right-handed finish.

My vibrator has more settings than my microwave. At this point, I'm half expecting it to start offering cooking tips and setting reminders for my appointments🧡
Let's give a two-way contract to Akins. He's a talented guy!
