A quick story. I was a ball boy at Miami Northwestern. Growing up, all I could think about was Blue and Gold. And when it’s my time to go to high school, boy, I’m going to be a bull. I’m graduated 8th grade. It’s time for me to go to high school. Coach Gold Smith and Coach Harwick. They come to my grandma house. My grandma came out. She went and put a wig on and she sat down say, “Y’all want some coffee?” Coach Harwick, he said he said his piece. Coach Goldmith said his piece about wanting me to come be the west. He’s been the ball with us for a very long time. He’s a part of the family. And man, she hit that long. I don’t think that’s going to be a good idea. I need to be able to keep an eye on him. You know, he’s a little wild. He’s a little he’s a little bad. I need to be able to get to him fast. So, I want to be over there on the beach where if I get that phone call, I can get to him right away. Huh? You see, I went to beach high, right? [Laughter]

Well story time. His grandma Mrs. Flowers was my guidance counselor at Nautilus Middle School on Miami Beach and Chad use to always come with her in the mornings and aggravate me like a big brother type. When I got to Miami Beach Senior High he was a senior and always looked out for me. Chad was and still is a cool guy
