2025 Rockets Summer League Recap | Houston Rockets

Yeah, I mean that’s that’s what
we’ve been working on. That’s been the biggest key
this offseason is being more physical, on the defensive end. So just trying to work on that,
implement it in the game. We see Summer League as just development, competing, trying to win,
but we want to see that carryover. It’s really fun to get guys going and get,
get reps is basically what it is. And, to see it translate to Summer League. And then for the guys that are on our team
there going to be at training camp and our team going forward. That identity is going to carry over. Yeah I mean I think
anybody that comes through here kind of knows what we’re about
and what we do. And obviously we look for players
with certain traits. And so, you don’t always see that
in Summer League. But, you know, we don’t back down
from that. So we love that about them. It brings back a lot of memories. Brings back a alot of memories when I was first playing
my first Summer League in my first year, the jitters I had… just bring back
how fun it is. You know what I’m saying?
Getting out here and competing. Its just a great event to be a part of, honestly. I mean, it’s just important
just to just to show them that, we’re here, that the team
is a family, and there’s one big group, one big unit,
and just show some love. You know, being able to be out here
and just play and compete and haven’t been able to play in a while. So being able to get out here and back
at Summer League was a lot of fun.

  1. Gonna have easier time to play this year due to much more steady offense out there. Last year we had few shooters and quickly surrounded by opponent. KD will give room to work on for Alpi and Amen thus making Reed easier to get into rotation.
