Chris Paul is coming back to the Los Angeles Clippers for final season
Hello sports fan. This is Stephen here with Sports Choice Plus bringing you a very special breakdown. I’m going to be covering CP3 reuniting with the Clippers. Before I get right into that, I want to make sure you’re subscribed to the YouTube channel so you can all the updates and all the breakdowns. Without further ado, let’s get right into it. Chris Paul is going to make his 21st season, possibly his last NBA season in the NBA. And he’s going back to a familiar team where he had success. You’re looking at Chris Paul reuniting after a couple of years with the Los Angeles Clippers for his 21st NBA season. Um the move comes when he had a lot of different suitors from the Milwaukee Bucks, Charlotte Hornets, Dallas Mavericks, uh Los Angeles Lakers. He had a couple of different uh offers on the table and he chose to go with the Clippers. When you’re looking at the likes of Bradley Bill, John Collins, Brook Lopez, um there is a lot of pieces moving in LA. They’ve got one of the one of the most savviest set of guys as far as overall NBA playoff experience, NBA just games played, knowledge of the game. Um, the Clippers are are essentially the best team in LA. When you’re thinking about what they can do, this move comes and this is basically a James Harden insurance plan. When you’re looking at James Harden and what he does and how sometimes he flames out in the playoffs, Chris Paul’s the backup. Chris Paul is going to make sure that the offense can still get off. He’s going to make sure that if they’re needing points or they’re needing scoring or if they’re needing setups for assists, he can come in the game and do what he needs to do. There’s times where James Harden just goes off and and and turns the ball over. He goes off and just shoots an array of unwanted threes or twos. So, it’s it’s a it’s a leveling kind of thing. And you got to add that to Kawhi Leonard, add that to Zubat. They’ve got a lot of different weapons on this team. And I feel like that the Clippers could make noise in the West. They’re going to need more pieces if you’re going to compete with Oklahoma City, but I feel like this is something that solidifies their team and helps their bench. It gives them more scoring. It gives them more um help as far as the offensive play calling. And I think that what you’re seeing is the Clippers are taking this very seriously. This is a kind of put your chips on the table kind of situation and pushing it in. So, uh, there the Clippers are aiming for NBA title and I think that when you’re looking at just overall the opportunities of what these veterans can do, they can win NBA title with the current constructed roster. They need a couple more pieces, a little bit more shooting, a little bit more defense, but I feel like they can do that. Uh, what do you guys feel? Do you feel like Chris Paul going back is a waste? Do you feel like he should have used his other opportunities? What do you think? Are they the best team in LA? Are they are they a title contender now?
