Last um in March 2024, I went to LA when we played against the Lakers and Clippers um for back to back too. That that was the week where uh UG was in town too, right? Now that was um I think Trey was out for both of those games and we we whooped the Clippers by like 20, but we got blown out by the by the Lakers the next night. Dang. Dang. Dang. Yeah. Yeah. Hm. Damen is going back to the Portland Trailblazers as expected. Chris Paul has gone back to the Los Angeles Clippers as expected. So with these things in mind and for the Hawks to reportedly have contacted Al Horford about his free agency. Yay or nay Al Horford? Yes man. That it’s like you know a lot of people are sour about how Al left in 2016. We got to move past that man. That would be such a great you know veteran pickup man. And it’s like you know Al he’s expanded his game since then. You know he’s he can shoot the three now. He wasn’t doing that in Atlanta 10 years ago, but now he brings a versatile game and I mean, you know, especially that vet leadership. I think he’d be perfect for this locker room, man. You know, he can mentor guys like Jay, like Reese Shay, too. And like, I don’t know how y’all feel about it, but you know, we got we got some more cap space left and I think Horford would be perfect option. Yeah, I I I like um I like the idea of bringing Al. Of course, like like Gary said, like all the fans are some fans are just like still mad about how I guess how he left and like the stuff that he was saying while he was with Boston and everything like that. And everybody just, I guess, noticed it because it wasn’t the Hawks and he was on a bigger market team or whatever like that. But been solid his entire career. Um it’s kind of hard to to just brush that away. Like he’s been doing this for a long time. So I mean bringing in a bet like him especially like he wouldn’t have to play much I don’t think uh if he’s here but I think he’d be a great a great option here. Well he he probably he probably back up JJ at the four huh. shoot that or or I think they might even like give him minutes at center like four four or five German. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, you know, I mentioned it before though because you know, we already got, you know, everyone’s expecting Porzingis to start and the O will be backing him up. So, I don’t know if we would have him as a third option at center. So, I think it would make sense at the four. Yeah. No, I think he’s definitely interchangeable between four and five for sure. If he wants to go to Golden State and he thinks he has a better chance of winning in gold I I don’t think he does have a better chance of winning Golden State. Look at the West. The West is stupid. I think his best chance to win out of those three teams, Boston, Golden State, and Atlanta is Atlanta. Um like it’s it’s it’s just been injuries, man. like injuries and you and to get to the finals or to get to any like championship whether it’s basketball, football, whatever, like you got to have luck and you got to be healthy. And literally like the two teams that made it to the finals last year were both healthy until of course Tyrese did like hurt himself. But like they were healthy literally like I mean but and the teams they were they were facing were hurt. Boston was hurt. Uh Cleveland was hurt.
