So, could the Boston Celtics be trading away Jaylen Brown to the Memphis Grizzlies this 2025 NBA off season? Well, here on the screen is a trade proposal or a trade idea from fade awayworld.net. But this trade would see the Memphis Grizzlies receiving Jaylen Brown, the Boston Celtics receiving Kobe White, Contavius Caldwell Pope, GG Jackson, Santiago Aldama, a 2031 firstround draft pick, a 2027 second round draft pick, and a 2032 second round draft pick. And the Chicago Bulls receiving Anthony Simons and a 2028 first round pick. So, this trade’s pretty intriguing because it sort of sees teams heading in different directions, all three of which are included in this deal. Uh, from the Grizzlies perspective, this would see them sort of pivoting off of Desmond Bane. Of course, they did that earlier this off season. Uh, trading him to the Magic, then packaging those draft capital that they acquired. I guess they have an excess amount of draft capital now in that trade and then flipping that for what they think would be a superior player. And in this case, it probably would be in the form of Jaylen Brown. So, uh, this would form a big three in Memphis next year of Jaylen Brown, uh, obviously John Morand, and recently signed Jiren Jackson Jr. And that’s a pretty good big three like for the foreseeable future down in Memphis, it’s a pretty good core to build your team around. Just sort of given how stacked the Western Conference is, the Western Conference is, especially next year, if they want to compete for a playoff spot and go on a bit of a championship run, it’s probably better to do so by making this deal than kind of staying pat. So, this would sort of see the Grizzlies pivot off of maybe more of a retool uh for this upcoming year into more of a playoff push or a championship push uh for Jaylen Brown. So, uh not a bad idea there for the Grizzlies. It’s risky uh but not a bad idea. Now, from the Celtics perspective, this would see them clearing a lot of salary off the books and just sort of them going into a full-on sort of rebuild uh for the upcoming season. And it makes some sense with Tatum being injured. Uh they of course traded Holiday uh to Portland. They traded Chris Porzingis to Atlanta. And in this case, he’d be sending Jaylen Brown to Memphis. And Anthony Simons, who they recently acquired to Chicago. So, a bit of a rebuild there, but they are acquiring some good young pieces in the form of Kobe White. Had a good season this past year. A bunch of draft capital. Uh, but truthfully speaking to me, not that good of value in my personal opinion. Now, from the Bulls perspective, I actually like this trade quite a bit. Uh, they’re a pretty young team. They’re sort of making on Anthony Simons going there and fitting in with this good young core. Plus, they’re getting back a first round draft pick, which is always good to have. So, they’re not giving up too much, relatively speaking, but they are getting back, you know, a good young player and a first round draft pick in return. So, if I had to rank this trade, I’m going to go with the Grizzlies winning the trade. Uh the the the Chicago Bulls being number two, and last but not least, the Celtics in my personal opinion.
