Apparently Jaylen Brown said on Kyrie’s uh stream the other day that the Celtics were the underdogs in the finals two years ago. Stop. And I just want to Yeah. Hats off. Underdog story. Like what a good underdog story for them. Now to be fair, I read it. I didn’t see the context of it. So I didn’t see the Yeah. full quote, but I just saw the quote pulled and I was like, there’s no way he said that. And from the great Sly Bias YouTube channel, healing, coming back, be stronger than ever. Titanium Ankle himself. What you got for me, Slightly Biased? I just want to reiterate that open was Nick Hanks that you’re kind of like Paul George with the broken like ankle foot. Yeah, it was in a workout, wasn’t it? And podcasting. It is a contact sport sometimes. It’s true. It is dangerous. We’re doing a fantasy overunder right now. We’re drafting teams. Each of us gets four picks and we go through it and we’re picking the overunder. So an overunder from FanDuel, they give the win totals. For example, the Mavericks are 40 and a half. If you think they’re going to win 40 games, 39, 38 or less than that, you pick the under. If you think they’re going to win 41, 42, 43, or more than that, you pick the over. And so we’re doing all unders right now. We picked all the overs in the last show. And you can go see where the Mavericks got picked in that one very early in that one. And then now we’re picking all the unders. We switched the order. I have no control. slightly biased with the first pick. I shouldn’t have Are you going to put the list up? I can’t see. He didn’t have a list. I shouldn’t have volunteered cuz honest to God, I don’t know. I Come on. Go ahead and take them. Take them. Uh, take who? I’m not taking the Lakers. Fulfill the TE’s. Fulfill the team slightly. Take the team that Nick took in the overs. All right. I’ll go the Boston Celtics. Yeah, that’s fair. That’s fair. I I don’t know how confident I feel about them being my number one pick, but I’m looking at their situation and their center position is D. I mean, it is dire. It might be the worst position group in the NBA. Like, I think that’s on the table. I mean, that it’s horrible. They don’t have an NBA player, I don’t think. Xavier Tilman versus Luca Garza. Can’t battle for starting spot. No, I mean, it’s got to be Kea, I’m I’m pretty sure. Unless unless they make another move and Ke is fine, I guess, but like Tilman and Garza are not NBA players really. I mean, John Krauss is going to do a banger of a of a center battle in training camp episode of locked on Celtics this year. And also, I mean, my thing I’ve been thinking about the Celtics, too, is like Jaylen Brown, he is really good. I I really respect him as a player. Last year he was not very good. And if you listen to any Celtics fans talk about him, last year was a bumpy ride a little bit. And now he’s your number one guy every single game, just like he wanted. Every single game you’re getting Jaylen Brown number one. And maybe team maybe he ends up, you know, that ends up being a good thing. But I can just envision eight turnover games, seven turnover games, games where you’re just like, what is Jaylen Brown doing out there? So I got them. You you look at Boston too and it’s like next year no Tatum, no Drew Holiday, no Porzingis, no probably Horford, no Cornet. And it’s like who did they replace him with? Anthony Simons. They don’t even want I know for a fact they do not want like Anthony Simons was part of the Drew trade. It wasn’t like we need Simons. Yeah. And it’s like they still might trade Simons. So it’s Yeah. And they have their pick next year. So I’m with you on this. I’m with you on I think they could easily spin this to be like it’s January and what uh Jaylen your your knee hurts. All right, we’re shutting Jaylen down for a couple months and oh at this point we might as well just shut him down the whole season and see if we can get a little bit lucky here in the draft. Shout out to Nick taking him in the overs. I know. Feel really bad about that. I mean there’s going to be some overlap though. Yeah. Tell Carales you got him. All right. Um my first pick I’m taking the Brooklyn Nets. Yeah, I think this is the worst roster in the entire NBA. I mean, it is brutal. And I actually like some of their draft picks. Like, I’m a big Demon guy, but I mean, holy crap, what a roster. I want job security. Like, Shawn Marks, what what has he done? H how? Like, he’s not even It’s not even like he’s like stuck around because he won a ring 10 years ago or something. It feels like he’s been the GM forever. And I don’t know like what is the positive move that you’ve done. So it’s like Michael Porter Jr. maybe Cam Thomas I guess they haven’t even like figured out that situation and then after that you’re looking at Terrence man Nick Nick Claxton their million draft picks they took Danny Wolf baby I just I I think they’re one of the teams that is we’re we’re just shooting for the top of the draft again. I think they’re horrible next year. coach was good last year and then like the power of friendship. That’s their only case that they can hit the over on this. Yeah. All the rookies coming in like hey our summer league team is playing now on our roster. I mean it’ll be I was going to say it would be fun the chances I watch more than three Nets games or next zero including Mavs games that they’re playing them but um so that leaves me one Nets game on the come to lock on Mavs for the post game. Mavs Nets are slightly biased will be yeah it’ll definitely be like who is that guy? I don’t know. He’s getting I just looked and he’s been playing 17 minutes a game for the last 12 for the Nets. But no, I mean historically speaking, uh if you think the Nets are the worst team, under 20 wins is a lock. Yeah. I mean, there were three teams last year that had under 20 wins. The Hornets, Wizards, and Jazz. And I I just think Yeah, the Nets enter that group. Yeah, because I I took the Wizards over and you look at them, you could squint and see like just stretches where they play well. I agree. This Nets team is awful. M bad. Is it my turn? It is. You’re smiling. Yeah, I am. This is creepy. Unders. Give me the Lakers. Oh. Oh. Give me this. Give me this Lakers. Bold. I couldn’t get there. Give me this Lakers team. 48 and a half. You’re saying this is close to a 50- win team, dude. LeBron’s so good. I’m so confused right now. It’s about the rest of the roster. So, Luca Reeves, LeBron, Ruie Aton. It’s not bad. That’s That’s okay. Did you know LeBron was six in MVP last year? Second team. He’s really good in the pick and roll. Really good. Him and Luca have played 251 and 252 games in the last four years. That’s out of 328 games. They missed 20 games a year. It could be more than that. And so if they missed 20 games each this year and one of those like when those guys missed games, one of Gabe Vincent, Daltton Connect, Jake Laravia, Jared Vanderbilt, or Jackson Hayes become a starter for that team. That is their bench. And that is brutal. I also think that the I’m also really low on the DeAndre Eaton thing. I know he’s better than Jackson Hayes. That’s what the Cameis keep telling me. They’re like, “He’s got to be better than Jackson Hayes.” I’m like, “Yeah, until he gets 40 games in.” And the pressure of being a Laker is and him getting scrutinized every single game by the, you know, the media and everybody watching every single moment of a Lakers game is so big that he just can’t handle it. Then like then he’s gone. All a sudden it’s Jackson Hayes and Maxi playing your center spot. So that’s just I mean they could be 46, 45. Sure. Like I could see them as a as a you know playing team or even sixth in the West, but I don’t see them getting to 50. They won 50 last year. Do you want to go through the how many games all of them play? Like a lot of Anthony Davis, a lot of But I get what you’re saying. They they were one of those like I didn’t know really what to do with them because hey, if next year’s the Luca MVP year, which it could be. Yeah. And have you seen those offseason picks? Those guns, baby. I saw a really funny Twitter thread where it was some it was a Lakers fan who was like, “Mavs fans have been telling us this happens every offseason and it was a it was a picture of him in like a Sylvania jersey.” He was like, “But this time it just looks different.” And someone replies was like, “This is an old picture.” That was from 2023. This is This is an old picture. It does look But no, he does look good. I mean, it the offseason stuff was never a concern. It’s just when the when the calf strain happens in November and then it’s two weeks off, what that comes back looks like. Their bench is just so rough to me. I know. I think the roster st stinks. Like I I I’ve had this argument with people too and I agree with you. I like the Aton move just because he is better than Jackson Hayes for sure. I don’t like DeAndre Aen as a player. I think you watch you watch any Portland Trailblazers game and Blazers fans will tell you that too. It’s like you he’s averaged a double double every year of his career. Why have two teams just completely given him away for absolutely nothing? Including a team that was so desperate to win at the time in the Phoenix Suns. They gave away a 23-year-old for nothing. So, Portland’s legit. They gave a max contract, too. They gave him away. They matched it. Yeah. Yeah. They matched a contract and then they gave him away later. Yeah, that one that one’s just weird. And Luca will make him better, I think. And so, maybe it can make that’s the case that it would work out. But even if it works out and they get 47, I still win this one. Can I make can I just push back on something real quick? Is like Aiden’s a good pick and pop, good sort of get the ball in like a a pocket pass, middle of the floor type of guy. Uh his pick and roll game is different than like a Gaffford or a Lively or even a Dwight Pal. True. Yeah. Who’s just a really hard rim runner and then like really good as a short roll guy. Like it’s a different type of thing. I’m sure Luca will be fine with it because it’s Luca Donic. But it it’ll I think there’ll be some adjustment that some people aren’t counting on. And if the adjustment is like all on DeAndre Aiden and they’re like there’s a lot of scrutiny on DeAndre Aton like I don’t think he’s going to respond to that. Well, he was able to hide in Portland. He will not with the Lakers. They don’t have ice in LA. They have traffic though. He’s gonna go up to He’s going to go up to the mountains and go to Big Bear and he’s going to get stuck in a cabin in Big Bear. What’s What’s going to happen? Portland’s paying him 25 million to not play for them. Um, just wanted to point that out there. I had three have a list of all the players that are getting paid to not play for teams. Bradley Beal, Damen Lillard, DeAndre Eaton. Yeah, Dame’s making like Dame’s making like 70 million next year and he’s not even going to play. Um, they’re one of three West teams that didn’t have any clue what to like do with them to Slightly’s point. I just I left it blank because there’s one side of me it’s like I’ve seen Luca Donuts carry a weird roster to 50 games. True. And it feel And Luca’s so good that it’s like dude, he’s almost like you got to like pencil him in for a 49 50 win, you know, season every year because he’s that good. But then again, and then you take in a fact that he’s with, you know, a top six player in LeBron that finished sixth in MVP last year, that is just, you know, so so so good. And so when you have two when you have two players in the top six, how can you say that they’re going to be under, you know, 48 wins no matter who else is playing with them? Crap. Because Aiden and Ruie are anchoring their defense right now. I The big thing for me is I don’t know if they have enough shooting around Luca and I still think shooting or defense. It’s like the two things you need around Luka. I think I think they’re like another year or so away from like tinkering the whole roster to like really go around Luca. So when they clear up when they clear up max cap space and get it isn’t about besides the fact that they have like a competent center, it is so similar to some of those early Luca teams for the Mavs. Yeah. It’s just so many one-dimensional players on their team one way or the other. So many in a league where we’ve learned now like you can’t you can’t win like that. Well, then they do have the GOAT. So, true. They do have it. Like Isaac said, top six player uh who the Mavericks should be begging to get bought out. Jared Vanderbelt is pretty good. Yeah. Isaac hates when I call LeBron the GOAT. I do. I think Jordan is the goat, just to be fair. I think LeBron is I mean, I’ll stay out of business. Thank you, Nick. I do. Jordan had a better peak. LeBron had better longevity slightly. I could I could not believe Slam dunk. What’s the path? FJ Edgecom, baby. A rookie. I Okay, they don’t own their draft pick next year, though. I don’t know that that’s going to matter. It didn’t matter to the Suns this Didn’t matter to the Suns this year. Their first round pick is top four protected OKC. But there’s a path though that they they win. I mean, what’s their Paul George 41 and a half just got hurt and had surgery off of a workout. That’s going back and he’s old, right? Isn’t he like 35 now? Yeah, that one’s scary. Joel Embiid has not started basketball activities yet. And so I don’t feel good about him coming back. Dude, the Embiid stuff is scary. That is scary. I was listening to to a great slightly stream recently talking about the Sixers and it just convinced me. I like Maxi. I like Jared McCain and his singing. I like VJ Edgecom. Um, I like those three guys and that’s about it. And you’re like, yeah. And you’re like, then that’s about it. Everything else, you got Kelly Ubé hanging around. Trinidad Watford’s probably starting at four for them. Ricky Council doing things. Admaha and Andre Drummond fighting it out for backup center minutes. And Broom’s on there. I got Jai Broom from Auburn. And then other than that, I’m just not feeling. So I I pick under. It’s an easy under for me at 41 and a half. easy would be a little scary to me, but yeah, if I had to pick one, I’d pick under, but I don’t think I’d touch the them just because they won 24 games last year. I know, but the East is so bad, man. I know. How many games did Embiid play last year? 20 something, I want to say. That That’s the thing that’s like hard for me is I didn’t know what to do with him because Yeah, it’s like the Nick Nurse, is he good? Is he not? You know, he won a title, whatever. But it’s like those those three young guys and then can you piece together some stretches of Embiid and Paul George enough to where you win slightly over 41 games? I don’t know. Maybe I can see either way. I just I’m I’m not confident in him. So I could We were kind of reaching Well, you guys all made fun of me for the Celtics one and then we were reaching for the Bucks to go over 44 and a half. So for the Sixers to go over 41 and a half, it’s like All right, that’s true. All right, Isaac, your next pick. Uh give me Chicago. I think they’re a team that’s going to be in the 20s. I I just I don’t I don’t like the roster. I mean, I’m assuming they’re going to bring Giddy back, but um yeah, I I I still expect them to like dump V at some point. I do like Buzz. Um outside of that, man, what your boy Kobe? Yeah. Like, yeah, I like Kobe White, obviously, but I don’t know, man. And I I just when you look at last year and it’s like all right they in the east last year there were five teams that were under 32 wins and you know when you get above that five spot you’re getting into like the playin. So I just don’t think they’re a playin team. I Yeah. Like I think not that we’re doing this back and forth but I think the Hornets win more games than the Bulls next year. H well LaMelo’s health. It all depends on that. Yeah. What is what is what is the Hornets one? The Hornets over under is 25 and a half. 25 and a half. Man, that’s so low. I know. We already we already I know we I considered them for an over. They’ve got a lot of dudes. LaMelo talking about weird is like the young guys and then look at the the mix of vets in in Charlotte. Mason Flumbley, our boy Grant Williams. Yeah. Uh, keep going. Colin Ston, Den Witty. Oh, yeah. Denwitty. Oh, yeah. Josh Green. I don’t have him on my list here. Josh Green. Oh, yeah. Our boy Josh Green. I think Green’s going to start again for them. Um, yeah. It’s just like they got these like Joshi. Those guys. And then, and then they have LaMelo, Brandon Miller, Khan, uh, some of, you know, some of the old pieces. McNeely. Yeah. Nick Smith Jr. Anyway, I’m under on the Bulls. Interesting. Yeah, I I think that’s that’s a fine pick, I think. But the thing about them is though, like they’re always just in this 35 36 win range like almost always like without fail. Uh I just think I trying to get an NBA defense out of V, Giddy, Kobe White, and like I guess you put Modis, Patrick Williams, Iodumu, Kevin herder. Will SNK ever play again after that poster? Dude, that he play he played good in that game, but I was thinking I was like, can you have a good NBA career? Just go hide after that. That picture, not even getting yammed on, but the picture of him like crying kind of in midair. That’s one of the craziest pictures. That picture looks like he got stabbed in the stomach. It’s like, how do you come back from that? You go play for the whole You go play for the Bulls, I guess. I root for that kid. Sleeper riser in the draft. Yeah, I have my thoughts and opinions on him that it’s just going to sound so bizarre that I don’t even want to say it, but I just I know I No, no, I don’t really care about that. I look at him and I close my eyes and I just look at him like his frame and everything and I’m just like, do I think this guy will be a good NBA player? You say, do you say I close my eyes and I look I close my eyes and I look at the vision I have of him in my closed eyes. I’m so impressed by this. This is something I would say. And I look at his frame and I’m just like, do I think that guy’s going to be an NBA player? Like, is that John Vesley? That’s how I do March Madness is I literally close my eyes. I’m like, and Drake beats Duke. And I’m like, yeah, I can see that actually. Um, unders is hard, honestly. The East I know I take the Celtics first. I don’t know if I’ll be going back east. I’m gonna take one that I don’t I almost take the I’m gonna take the Timberwolves. Whoa. Yeah. I mean, they won 49. Almost took them in the overs. I know. I thought about them for the overs, but they won 49 games last year. And one of the things that I worry about for them is like, you know, go Bears getting older. And what I really worry about is Mike Connley, who at times last year it looked like he was reaching a really bad place uh in his age. and he’s been really important for them throughout his entire time. Like insanely important for them throughout his entire time there. And that’s, you know, you’re putting a lot of stock in in in Dillingham stepping in and being that guy in a lot of ways. And I think there’ll be growing pains there. And, you know, we bank on this Anthony Edwards and I do it too because I I really do believe in the guy, but we bank on this Anthony Edwards playmaking stuff every single year. Every year. And we’ve seen flashes, but he just might not be that guy. Like that just might be what it is, you know? So, um, yeah, I think they they might take a small I’m not predicting them to be bad or anything, but like 47 wins. Would that surprise me? Not really. If they’re playing or like a six seed, okay. Yeah, that was a team for me where I was like, I don’t know which way to go with this. I could easily see him go over. I could easily see him go under, too. Really hard. They lost Nikquil Alexander Walker and then like didn’t really replace like that’s kind of it. Terrence Shannon played pretty good in summer league. He did. He’s good. Um, I like Finch a lot as a coach. I like Ant and I don’t know. I just Yeah, I’m kind of I’m kind of an in on them slightly over, but I hear the under though. Well, because in in my world I did, you know, there’s usually what four five four 50 win teams, 550 win teams. And I feel like I’m getting that from the Nuggets, from the the Rockets, from the Thunder almost certainly. Yeah. And I picked the I picked the Clippers there. So, that would just be kind of it. It just has to be 49. Like, it doesn’t even have to be 50. Yeah, it could be 49 wins and they’re they’re hitting their under technically. So, uh this next one, man. God, the unders. The unders are hard, man. Do you vamp enough for you to pick another one? Yes, I was trying to vamp big time. I was trying to vamp. This one’s hard cuz I could see this team doing something big at the deadline to to shift their to shift their the fortune for them. I the their big move last year, I was so unimpressed. so unimpressed and quite frankly a little concerned by what I saw at times. I’m going with the Warriors. I knew it. I had it I had it ready to copy and paste was 45 and a half is low but you know again Jimmy just for what I think they’re going to need out of him at times. I that was concerning to me how cuz it was kind of like all right Jimmy’s just kind of you know coasting through the regular season. That’s what he does, right? And and there were stretches where like Steph was out in the regular season. It was like, “Okay, Jimmy, like we we kind of want to win that. Like we’re fighting to get out the playin. Like we kind of need to win this game and it just like didn’t happen.” And then in the playoffs and I I didn’t think he was good at all in that Timberwol series. So I don’t He’s getting older. Like sometimes these guys are just not very good anymore. Like sometimes it just happens. And it’s Guys, I have breaking news. What? Wait, really? Young Hansen did the dame time during his postgame interview after Young GM, man of the people, baby. Our guy Ben Goliver posted the post the video of it. That’s awesome. I I saw Isaac’s eyes light up. He knew he thought that was a LeBron update for a sec. Isaac was ready to like take anti-depressants. No, I thought you were going to say something about the Warriors because it’s weird when you look at their roster right now. It’s like so incomplete. like they have so many spots open. Yeah. So, it’s like what’s the Kaminga crap? Are they going to eventually sign Horford? Um I didn’t know where really what to do with them. I just I don’t like their team very much. And for the only reason I was not like taking them first overall was cuz 45 is pretty low. I know. If we were 47 48, I would have taken them first without a shadow of a doubt. Yeah. Okay. You got It’s deaf though. I know. All right. might surprise you a little bit on this one. Give me OKC. Um, yeah, I can see us. Just coming off the title, I get it. All the stuff that I’d say about the other young teams, they have so many young guys that it doesn’t even matter if some of them get hurt or whatever, they can like withstand all of it. I’m going to I’m going to bank on there. So, they’re over and so they won 68 games last year. Their over under is 62 and a half. Um, I think they’re gonna, it’s coming off the title, not, you know, the whole thing coming off the title. I think that they’re gonna be, this is like some messed up psychology here. I think they’re going to be so confident in how good they are that it’s kind of like, hey, we don’t have to run away with the number one seed again. And I think we’re going to have some like nights off thing. Um, is there a case that they have too many guys? The Bill Simmons thing. Um, is this a case of like, hey, we won the title and now some of these young guys are like, all right, cool. I’m glad y’all got paid, but the Kin Wallace, uh, Wiggins, Topic, you know, all these other guys on the roster, AJ Mitchell, you know, it’s like, are we ever going to get some shine here? It’s not a good case. I know, but I still I think they I think it’s like 60 wins, which is still really good. Yeah, it’s like Yeah, 60 wins, you still win this one. Yeah. Yeah. I don’t I don’t think that’s a bad pick just because 62 and a half is is really high. Like that is stupidly high. Yeah. But you want to know something? I almost had the votes by over. Oh, but the thing is I could totally hear that argument and it’s like, do they challenge 73 wins? You know, that’s what that’s honestly what I think is I think they might want to get 70. Celtics so young is the thing where it’s like the thing with the the Celtics weren’t as like were older and like they’re still young and presumably their guys are going to get better. Yeah. I don’t know. It’s scary. This one hurts me on the inside though. Uh oh. Who you got? Picking the Pacers. I almost did. Yeah. Hallebertton for the whole year. Miles Turner is gone. They replace him with an Isaiah Jackson/Juff. They own their pick. They made that sneaky trade during the finals to get their pick back. They own it outright. Crazy. And so you’re if you’re thinking they go they’re like a 50 win or a 40 win team. You’re thinking it’s Pascal Seakum, Nemhard and Nmith like are good without Tyres Hallebertton and TJ McConnell steps up and Benedict Mathan makes a leap maybe. Like that’s kind of what you’re hoping and some Rick Carlau voodoo magic. But this is a classic like shut everything down the last two months of the season team to me. Yeah, this could be one of those is staring us in the face and they have 28 wins at the end of the season type of things. Yeah, I’m kind of worried like outside of like the Nimhard Seakum if they h if they had one of the other guys like if they brought Turner back and then they were missing Hallebertton I think they would be a sneaky like over cuz it’s like oh man you know Rick and all the stuff but losing both of them and yeah I think that’s that’s a tough spot there for Nimhard and Seakum to carry that thing that’s a good pick. Great opportunity for Nimhard, though. I’m interested to see how that works out. I love that guy. My last underpick. I really want to pick the Pelicans. I thought about it. They’re so 29 and a half. I really want to pick them. That’s so low though. That is And they don’t obviously they don’t want or pick, but 29 and a half. I’m going to pick the Kings though. Oh, I’m picking the Kings because this team makes no sense. They bring Shruder in who’s like a known known like great chemistry guy with everybody. Zack Lavine, D Rozan, Malik Monk. I did like Nick Clifford. He’s been doing some good stuff. Their backup center is Dario Sarich right now. Oh, he’s done. Sabonis goes down with an injury and all of a sudden it’s like I mean they’re playing Keegan Murray already at four. Like their bigs are are awful in the West. That’s going to be a disaster for them every night. And to pick the Kings under is just a classic like NBA trope and I’m for I’m here for it. I don’t know what to do with their roster, dude. Like they I know what they should do with their roster. Well, it’s just like they’re not they’re not one of those like bottom roster teams like you compare it to like Utah. Sorry. They have Drew Eubanks as their backup center. Is that better? Is that better than Dario? Yeah, he’s definitely better than Sarge. Oh, no. They picked Reno. They picked Maxine Reno in the draft. Oh, interesting. All right. Yeah, I I guess it’s under. I It’s what 35 and a half, so five less wins than last year. Sure. They don’t have Fox. I think there’s also like a weird I they own their pick this year, but I don’t think they do in 27. I I think I could be wrong there. So, there could be the angle of like if we want to be bad. Um I’m going to take somebody slightly tooken the the other one. I’m taking Washington. Under really 20. Yeah. I I think they’re one of the like two to three teams that try to really bottom out. And yeah, I just I think there’s going to be, you know, four or five teams this year that just is just going to lose so many games. And there were just there’s always at least like two or three teams that win under 20 games. And I think it’s like I think it’s Utah, Washington, and Brooklyn. I think they’re all three losing the most games this year. Yeah, that’s fair. I could see that. I just don’t I don’t I don’t like their like creation either. I mean, I get the the older guys of like CJ, but even like Marcus Smart, like Trey Johnson, is he running your point guard? I don’t I like Trey Johnson off the ball. I like Koulali off the ball, obviously. Sar is going to play off the ball. I I just don’t Yeah, I don’t know who’s like running their offense. I don’t If they had like a Chris Paul type, like a veteran type to try to like make all these guys work, maybe. But maybe Kaspert changes everything. I think he may not be on the team by the start of the season. Is Anthony Gil still still on that roster? Um, this one is so hard. I’ve I’ve I’m the last pick, so I’ll vamp a little bit and just talk about my thought process of what I’m thinking here. Uh we talk about the Raptors a lot. 37 and a half. We I know 37 is not that high, though. Like that’s under 500 for a team that is spending $150 million on their starting five. They’re kind of like the Kings of the East. Um the the backup point guard for the Houston Rockets is Reed Shepard right now. So I don’t know that they have a backup dude. I have them as an under. stepping on my toes cuz I honestly think that’s who I was going to pick only because it’s 54 and a half. I could easily see them win 52 games. Yeah. Um so I think I’m going to go there. I was I was also thinking like you know you are an AD injury away from the Mavs probably winning 35 games. I don’t want to pick it though. Oh like I’m not going to pick it because that that sucks and who wants that? The Grizzlies are like I mean Jared Jackson Jr. already is going to be out for the start of the season. Yeah. And they don’t 40 and a half. I know. That’s what I’m saying. The unders are hard to miss game. My like are all these totals not really low? They’re low on purpose. I know they are, but uh the Pelicans were a thought just because, you know, I wanted to pick the Pelicans so bad cuz they won 21 games last year. Their overunders 29 and a half. But you get you had 30 games of Zion. You had 20 games of Herb Jones last year, 31 of Dejonte, but he tore Achilles in February. He’s not going to be there. Oh yeah, you’re baking on the worst case scenario for the Pelicans happening again. They lose CJ McCollum and Kelly Olen, but they add Jordan P, Cavan Looney, Queen, and Fierce. And like they’re going to be playing those rookies a lot because they drafted him high and that doesn’t really bode well for team success. I was not impressed with Fears in Summer League. No, by the way, or Queen. Queen just got a bunch of rebounds cuz he’s big and then I’m like, well, what’s it going to look like when he’s up next to Derek Lively? I was never a Queen fan, but I think you’re not really a Freddy Mercury guy. I was supposed to say ride aid. That didn’t move you at all. I was thinking the suns honestly say yeah was farm aid. No, wasn’t that the the is the right the uh the big cont. Oh, I’m pretty sure it was farmade, right? Oh, well, whatever. Here we go. Yeah. Um yeah, go Rockets. You know, 52 wins. Live aid. Live aid. That’s right. They’re both wrong. We are about to get flamed by people in the com sound right when it left my mouth. Hey, it happened when neither of us were born. Okay. True. Yeah. Right. My thing for the Rockets is if if uh Fred Vanble goes down, you’re looking at Reed Shepard or Aaron Holidayiday as like your starting point guard. Yeah, Thompson. I still think they’ll be a really good team, but I just don’t think Yeah, same. I think it’s a possible go under. I had a slight under for them. They’re they’re built a lot like the Mavs, honestly. They got a lot of bigs, a lot of wings, no guards except for Ben N. They got some young guys, though. Yeah, I think they’re gonna I feel like I might regret this one, but the the team I almost took was Milwaukee. Yeah, that their Giannis injury away from this being an easy one. That just for their roster scares the crap out of me. I think Giannis is like I really think it’s Giannis and Joic. I think those are the only two where it’s like those two guys are on your team, you’re winning 45 46 games bare minimum no matter what. I would say that about Luca, but we did see 2023. Which roster do you want? Milwaukee or Lakers outside of Luca and Giannis? Oh, I’m taking the Lakers for sure. Yeah, LeBron and Reeves. And I’m taking the Lakers definitely. Ruy, at least get a There’s a couple competent. Yeah, if the Bucks were in the West with a 44 and a half win total, different conversation. Oh yeah, that’s true. I’m still thinking about Nick taking the Celtics in the over one. So that’s one I’m going to regret for sure. I think theirs should be in the 30s. Honestly, I really do. 43 and a half. I think that’s high. I think they could get there, but like 40 40 and a half I think should be Jaylen Brown number one option for a whole year. the the top of the West I was looking at and I went under on a lot of them because I think the West is just going to be so good that they’re it’s going to kind of like even out more and like some of these bottom teams in the West I was all over on like I’m over on the Mavs, I’m over on the Suns, I’m over on the Blazers. I almost Yeah, I just Yeah, I dude the the last part of the season last year for Portland really promising and I I always love when the young teams add a add a vet in the room and adding Drew Holiday in the room I think’s pretty cool for those guys. I mean they won 36 games last year. Their over under 33 and a half. There’s always the thing is that you want to predict in the West. There’s always the one team at least that spirals bad and it’s going to be somebody like who is it? I it’ll be injuries. It’ll be something else. Like there’s always one team at least. The Warriors could be probably be the Kings. Like if I had to pick like spiraling bad like the Kings won 22 games, man. Yeah. I mean there’s Sabonis injury away from that happening or a trade. Whatever happened to that? There was reports was like Sabonis is going to figure out what’s going on with the king. Like it was Pablo Torres investigative reporting thing. I think he found out Sabonis is going to figure out what’s going on behind the scenes. I thought for sure D Rozan is going to be on another team. Who? I thought that was a lock. They tried giving away Malik Monk. I’m like, hey, we’ll take him. I’ll take I know that was so bizarre. Like the side they’re going to sign and trade Malik Monk for Shruder. I’m like what?
