julius just kind of how did you see the game unfold that made it hard for you to get into your own rhythm there uh I think it’s similar to the game too They’re just sitting around spectating I don’t know Uh offensive rebounds and turnovers feels like were really hurtful tonight Like what what did you see them doing to kind of especially on the offensive glass I guess to create second chances uh yeah I mean I think um a lot of it comes from Shay Um you know we committing to him in certain areas trying to make it tough on him Um but what’s that what that’s doing is putting us in rotation So um when he shoots you’re not necessarily boxing out your man You got to find the nearest body And um just like a couple times like people got free off of you know the attention that he caused and you know they’re getting tip outs and stuff like that Uh so I mean they were just quicker to the ball than us and you know we just got to do a better job of just finding bodies off of those rotations Julius did you feel like you let one get away i mean you guys didn’t play a perfect game but yet at the end you were within two Uh I mean yeah you’re on the home court You want to defend home court So yeah for sure It’s all about moving forward Talk about moving forward now What can you guys take from games two and excuse me three and four to game five uh rebounding turnovers just a little things Um I mean they scored 125 points I think they got like 20 more shot attempts so stuff like that You said it was kind of similar to game game two Just what were some of the themes defensively that they did to to I mean I don’t know Like to be honest like I think it was just like a lot of just like me just like spectating Like I got to figure out a way to get myself involved in actions you know um I think I didn’t take my first shot in the second half to like 20 seconds in the third quarter So it’s like uh I got to figure out a way to get myself in position to be more aggressive um rather than just like standing spectating or you know trying to crash the glass or you know or I can just find other little things to do as well Is that Joey is that on you is that on coaches to kind of get get you more involved that way or how how does uh I would always take the responsibility for myself I got to figure it out first Um good When it comes to the turnover was it more what they were doing defensively or was it maybe some careless mistakes or how do you view the turnovers tonight i mean I had five but one of them was offensive foul You can call that either way Uh one of them was end of the game trying to throw a lob You know what I mean so it’s just like for me it feels like more than what it is but uh you know obviously we know that’s as a team that’s what they try to do Make you turn the ball off Yeah More as a team you have to than yourself personally I mean really uh I think something like we can do is flatten out a little bit more Um they put a lot of pressure at the top of the floor and if it gets crowded up there it kind of makes it hard to you know get correct spacing and release passes and stuff like that So I think we can flatten the defense out flatten the top of the floor out a little bit more and not have so many bodies up there Uh that’s just one of my observations that I saw from the game Uh but look at the film we figure out and you know try to get game five Jul you said you guys played desperate in game three and that’s part of what worked obviously now 3-1 Do you think that desperation may work again in game five we got no choice So you know we got to give it our all and um go from there Julius how about what like Dante and Na gave you guys just coming off the bench great Great I mean they were ready Um and you know knocked down their looks and you know did a lot of little things as well You know play hard You know the kill played extremely hard on the defensive end too Um but no they were great Thanks Julie

Randle says "too much standing around" — McDaniels said "We need more ball movement" … so which one is it?
CLEARLY Randle needs to dribble less. When he was out tonight, we shrunk the lead every single time because of ball movement.
Randles dribble dribble dribble back you down into the oaint was exactly what we needed vs Lakers & Warriors but its NOT what we need against OKC. They THRIVE off that slow play and swarm you/turn you over.

If we really wanna win G5 (Yes I believe we could've easily won G4 if we played like G3) sitting out to spectate to read how the team is (Remember during regular season after the injury?) Randle plays better. We are in a serious tough spot but let's believe and hope the coaches allow the players to dog out like they did G3 and to perform at hype levels across the board
