All [Music] right, here we go. Salute to Nick Nation on this Tuesday evening. Another edition of Nicks Fan TV live, the offseason central edition. TV the franchise. Alcatarus on the other side on today’s show. The Knicks could be bringing back a fan favorite to add to Mike Brown’s coaching staff. We’re going to talk about that. Plus, we got some fresh worst takes to unwrap and react to featuring the captain Jaylen Brunson. And then we’re going to end the night with an with an interesting uh game, our all Dark Ages team that we’re going to compose. This one was going around social media. So, we figure we bring it to the uh the show here and get it going, man. You know, the dark ages, the dog days of the offseason, if you will, Al kind of picking up Steve, man, man. So, let’s talk about it, man. What’s good, bro? How you feeling, man? Hey, man. Another day chilling. Still in the offseason, waiting for Nick’s basketball, you know, but enjoying it. you know, we had summer league before you know it. October’s here, September’s here. You know, we’ll be back right into this thick thick of things. So, just got to enjoy these uh these last, you know, last month or so while there’s no Knicks basketball, man. Yeah, 100%. I mean, they talking about, you know, seven Sundays until football. You know, I don’t really want to, you know, seven Sundays. I don’t really want to end my summer in that fashion. So, I’ll hold off on the countdown. But, yeah, that’s what they saying. That’s what they’re saying. Training camp starting up. You know, Giants and Jets in camp right now. Did you see the Jets in New Locker? Did you see that video flying around? No, I don’t care. Damn, man. Come on now. Sorry I missed it. Maybe I’ll tap into the Jake Aspen show and check it out. Now, he did talk about it. I’m sure he did. That That’s our guy. What What’s uh What’s the deal with it? Hey, man. They updated the living daylights out of the Jets locker room, man. It is looks like a lounge at this point. I don’t know if it’s a locker room, a lounge, a club. Okay. Sheesh. Hey, what whatever it takes to win, you know, hopefully that turns uh Justin Fields into Joe Montana. Whatever it takes. Joe Nameoth, you know, the last good Jet quarter. He’s starting to believe, too. See, see, I knew you would come around. I knew you would come around. I’ll be watching. You know what I’m saying? I I’ll be watching for sure. Through the curtains like this, like, yeah, I’m always I’m not I’m always tapping with the Jets. I’m I’m not a Jet hater. I I say that all the time. I’m not a Jet hater. You know what I’m saying? You’re rocking the green. You rock the green and white. I appreciate it, man. Yeah. Yeah. Absolutely, man. Somewhere you got a Curtis Martin jersey in your house that we don’t know about. Uh I don’t, but again, a guy who I had tremendous respect for as a player and I ran into him at a Walgreens randomly one time in Empstead. Walgreens? Yeah. There’s the Walgreens is right there. Right by where they used to practice at. Did you know that for your trivia? Did you know that? You talk about out Hofra. Is that where you’re talking about? Out at Hopster University, bro. I know that, man. That’s right, man. You know what I’m saying? Bill, you about to shock me and say, “Hey, you’re living out in Sunni Courtland area.” No, no, no, no, no, no, man. Nah. Wait, what’ you say? Oh, hey, what is it? Is there Is there something twinkling in the light? You know what? I heard something back there, man. It’s just the next Twitter day trophy. Yo, sometimes it spooks me sometimes, man. Sometimes I I feel like I’m not alone here. You know what I mean? I got to get used to it. Sometimes I I feel like I got company here. It it’s just that this Twitter day trophy shining nicely in the light along with the MVP trophy that You just got that thing polished. What’s going As soon as I got back from Vegas, you know what I mean? It was looking a little dusty, you know? I had the cleaning ladies just, you know, throw the arm armor all on there, polish it up. Had the cleaners come through say, “Hey, hey, when you go to that part of the studio, man, make sure you every nook and cranny. Don’t Don’t miss that spot. You know what I’m saying? Oh, my guy B Guest is in the chat. Shout out to Brandon Guest in the chat. Shout out to Brandon, man. Oh, right below him. TripleM. Okay, so we got company in here right now. Al, we got company, man. We got friends and foes in here. You know what I’m saying? Brandon Gu saying that thing sitting pretty, my boy. Oh, yeah. through. It’s got its own It’s got its own light. It’s got its own light in the studio. It own light. Listening. Yeah, man. So anyway, um today’s news on the Twitter sphere, shout out to our guy Ian Begley, Knicks insider extraordinaire, friend of the program. Um the Knicks have finally been granted permission to talk to a coach. This time, uh it is assistant coach and former friend of the team, former point guard Pablo Pion. Prisy Smalls, bro, has been granted permission has been granted permission um to to speak with the Knicks. Now, Pablo, currently the assistant coach with the uh Minnesota Timberwolves. Obviously, the connection is there with Carl Anthony Towns, having coached Carl Anthony Towns during his stint in Minnesota. Um Pablo is right now currently the the offensive coordinator for the Minnesota Timberwolves right now. So, um the Knicks looking to bring him in. What do you think, man? Look, won’t know too much. I mean, the, you know, there’s slight words out there saying how great he is as being an offensive coordinator for the Timberwolves, but we won’t know until, you know, he’s hired and see what he can do if he joins Mike Brown staff and what he can create. But I like the idea. I like the familiarity between, you know, who he was when he was with the Knicks during that mellow era, man. Knicks tape to be exact. All right. Dude was a phenomenal. I still think about the the alley oop that he had to J.R. Smith, man. That’s what I think about. All right, but look, we won’t, like I said, we won’t know until he’s part of the staff and what he can do with this roster. But I like the idea that the front office is going with where you’re thinking about familiarity with Carl Anthony Towns, trying to get him unlocked because that’s one of the biggest issues I’d say we had with last season is you get Carl Anthony Towns, man was averaging about eight threes per game the season prior. joins the Knicks and it’s the lowest amount of tense he had from downtown since what four or five seasons ago and I think when you’re looking at Pion a guy who’s been with the Minnesota Timberl for quite some time now he could be that answer to help the Knicks get him more looks from downtown and maximize that skill set which you know we surely need towns phenomenal in the paint last year right especially what we saw in the postseason but we do want more threes that’s why you brought him in here to get for space especially when you think about Jay and Brunson Bridges OG guys who want to get downhill more so Brunson and OG you know we we hope that the paints open enough for Mau Bridges to finally start doing some layups but you know that’s what you think about man when you start getting towns activated from downtown the lanes start to open up. Yeah. Um, I I’m with you in all those things. To me, first off, I I was a big Pablo fan when he got him. You know, one one of the oldest rookies they ever had. But on that team, you know, they there was it was easy to see why that team had so much success when you factored in the experience of Pablo, Jason Kid, like those guys, man. That’s why that team was so good. It was the veteran leadership of those floor generals. And even when he got in the game, he was super smart. The original Grand Theft Alvarado, you know, they call it Grand Theft Alvar. Pablo was doing that ages ago, picking pockets on the inbound play. You know what I mean? The the alley to JR. Absolutely. He would knock down a nice little elbow three. That little elbow three was his shot. So, he was a good player even though he got to the Knicks as an older uh point guard. And you know, like like many point guards that have come through the league, they turn out to be good coaches, I guess, just based on how they see the game. He he was a play development coach with the the Brooklyn Nets. Also has familiarity. Gerson Rosas from the Rockets through the Timberwolves. All right. So there’s the Gerson Rosas influence here who is, you know, he still has that consulting tag with the Knicks, but I mean you could pretty much say that he’s a GM of the Knicks without the official title, you know, I mean through summer league. He was the last man standing from the front office. You know, Leon Leon came first weekend. Gson Ross was there during during, you know, the extended weekend of summer league. So you have that connection there. The Towns connection. Towns raved about him when he was there in Minnesota. And this to me is another signal that they want to run more offense through towns. When they brought in Mike Nori to get the intel, you bringing in Mike Brown who had the experience running through Sabonis. Yes, they had they was running through Fox as well, but utilizing Sabonis as that playmaking hub. They want to I I think they want to do that again with Towns, maximizing a two-man game with with Towns and Brunson, utilizing Towns as a as a passer and as you said, getting more offense out of him, especially the three-point attempts, just making him that dual threat offensively. And I think that’s that’s that’s what uh this Pion interest says to me for sure. And look, they’ve gone through their list. are now try because I think some may look at this and say hey is this just the Knicks you know grasp at straws at this point because look it was like who’s going to be the next head coach now it’s like all right you don’t get Berago who’s going to be the next you don’t get Darvin Ham who’s going to be the next assistant that we you know that falls into place and this is where you know he’s part of the Timberwolves coaching staff we know Mike Norori is the top is second in command out there right so where does Pion falling like how much is he incorporated in what the Minnesota Timberwolves do. That’s what’s to me it’s like all those are good things, but I think that conversation they had with Fred Cass the other day saying, you know, when it comes to an assistant head coach, we don’t know. But it’s easy to change out because, you know, no one’s really paying attention to what the assistant coach does. So, it could be great, it could not be, but I’m open to the idea. And look, you know, he’s going to be, you already talked about how he’s a fan favorite between you, you know, between the connection between Carl Anthony Towns, Minnesota, New York, you bring him back in the building, there’s already going to be some instant love for Pablo Pion. So, I think it’s also when you think of from the PR standpoint of a front office and how do you get people to like buy in and who’s the next guy that’s coaching the team and how do you build the staff? I think Pablo Prejun will do just that just because when you think of his tenure here as a Nick there was success obviously that first year that he joined and so I think when you talk about bringing it all together I think it’s going to it would be a good move if they get Pablo Pion I like it man I like it yeah I like it and you know has good player relationships John Krosinski in doing my research did a did did a big article in in terms of um Pablo’s relationship ship with certain Timberwolves players, towns, D’Angelo Russell gives him a lot of credit for his development. The Knicks, the Knick players when they were here, when he was a part of the team, uh, gives it gave him a lot of credit. So, he’s got that player relationship, skill set, player development, and he is the current offensive coordinator of the Minnesota Timberwolves. So, let’s see what happens. I think that it could be a go, but let let’s see uh what what happens when the two sides meet and uh and you know, Leon and those guys make their final decision. So, what do you guys think in the chat? Pablo is Percy Smalls coming back home. What What do you guys think about that potential move? All right, leave us some comments in the comments section and let us know. I’m on board, man. I’m I’m definitely on board. I think it’d be a good move, you know, just from all the outside, like I said, the aspects, the PR, the relationship they have with Carl the Towns. You talk about familiarity. That’s the other big thing when you think about this front office when they start making moves, right? It has to, it’s always in the light of what makes everyone feel comfortable and what is the next step that you want for this team to look different from what it was in the past, right? So when you think of all right this team was very defensive oriented not a lot of ball movement offensively got very stagnant why you think about Pablo Pion as you talked about the offensive creativity that he has out in Minnesota you want that collaboration you see that he’s he’s capable of collaborating with the coaching staff out there that’s what they want here it’s layers man the towns would feel comfortable with having uh someone that he used to work with out in Minnesota in New York now and it’s just all those layers. So, it’s there it’s always more than just one thing than when you watch when we dissect what Leon Rose is doing. So, there’s probably even other stuff that we don’t even really know, but that’s the that’s the conversation that they’re having in the front office, right? Familiarity, how do we move the offense forward? Um, and then just shaking up the coaching staff. Not a lot. You know, Fred Catz mentioned yesterday on the show, just fascinating how everyone’s just coming back from the Tibs regime. The whole the whole gang, the Kangs back together except Tibs. Yeah. And so, you know, Pion being the, you know, the one, you know, if they do get him the difference, right? Okay. Let’s here’s a little garnish on on uh the new coaching staff. Yeah, it’ll be it’ll be interesting, man. Definitely interesting. Fascinating to see. fascinated to see the differences. That’s probably the one thing where what is how long will the it take for this Knicks team to gel offensively and what will this offense look like? Just because look, when you talk about not getting Burggo, not getting Darvin Ham and all these other guys where you’re looking to make this big offensive change. I’m I’m very curious to see what Pione can do. If once again, if he is hired, he’s part of the staff. What can he do? What he and what can he and Mike Brown create to help this team look more fluid, more creative, faster, and just add diversity, right? Because that’s the other thing we didn’t really get under Tibido is we already knew what the last five minutes of the game was. And I think yes, it’s we we certainly want the ball in Jaylen Brun’s hand. It’s very clutch. We know all those things, but as the season wears on, you don’t want to have to rely on that. You want to make sure that you get other guys good looks and that you keep the defense, you know, guess it what’s the next move. What are they going to do, right? So, hey, it comes down to all those things as to how do you eval evaluate this offense moving forward. I’m very curious to see how it looks, man. For sure. Cuz a lot of these guys, you know, this is not these guys aren’t like the Kings where they’re just going to be flying. I just don’t see how they’re going to be flying around. So, I’m curious to see how do they move the ball quick enough and guys relocate? What are the actions looking like when like what does it look like when you have Cat and and Brunson just trying to get other guys set up or they’re looking to get their own shots? I’m very curious how that all will unfold. Shout out Rasool Thomas says positive move. A lot of positives in the chat. Tento, he’s with it. Uh TM the Shells bring them in. Uh JJP Bridgie Smalls is the illst. All right. I I like that. Father Peace Nicks tape band is getting back together. Uh, Brandon Guest says, “If he’s the actual coordinator, then this is a home run.” So, everyone loves Pablo, says TM. Okay. So, I think I think we got unanimous. Get him in here. Uhoh. Uh-oh. J 16. Hell no. To hunchback Pablo. Damn. Why you got to go there? Wasn’t his game. Wasn’t his game mostly defense? Aren’t we looking for offense? That’s sir, you got to do your research, man. He was off. He’s offense coordinator. Minnesota Timber, man. What what what you coach is not doesn’t have to be what you brought to the game as a player. It’s not a onetoone match. Come on, man. Come on, kid. Why are we attacking how the way the man stands? Yeah, I know. He’s He’s after the guy’s posture. Sheesh. Hey, man. This is the dog dog days of the dog days of the offseason. This is where we at. Ruthless, man. This This is where we at. Okay. Uh, call us up in the Discord if you guys want to chat it up. CP the franchise, Alcatar on the ones and twos. Let’s do a giveaway today, man, for the people that are with us in the chat. A while ago, um, I, uh, we had the great Papito Garcia on the show. We talked about his memoir. Uh, great book, man. I got it right here. So, we’re going to give it away. We’re going to give away Bobito’s memoir tonight at the end of the show. So, make sure that you guys stick around to the end and somebody will uh, will take a copy home and he will autograph it. All right. So, we will have an autographed copy of Barbito Garcia’s memoir. Okay. All right, though. Well, let’s get to uh let’s get to worst take, man. I got I got two good ones here tonight to talk about. Which one you want to hear first? The first one or the second one? Let’s go with the second one. How about that? Okay. All right. No doubt. No doubt. All right. Here it is. Let’s Let’s load it up and let’s get to it. So, this is uh another episode of Worst Take, where we go around the NBA media landscape as it relates to the New York Knicks and react to this sound bite. You people in the chat are the judges. You rate the take, one being trash, five being facts, and that’s the rules. Okay, so the first clip is from our guy Baron Davis Al, formerly of the Knicks tape. Nicks, friend of the program as well. I’ve, you know, I’ve separated him from that clown Draymond Green and Baron’s actually a good guy. So, he’s a friend of the program, came on Nick Fan TV. We got to put that, we got to put that interview out. Actually, I put I got that. I’ll throw that in the archives uh next month during the dog days. But anyway, Baron Davis was on the podcast P show and talked about some of the Knicks struggles as he saw it from the point guard standpoint in the playoffs and what it should be looking like going forward. All right, so let’s listen to BD and uh and react to it on the other side. Here we go. Let me let me just make sure the sound is good. Let’s see. Do you see that as a recipe for winning? At first I didn’t. Yeah, but he’s so cold, bro. He cold. He tough, bro. He’s so cold. He’s talking about Jaylen Brunson. Y’all can’t with this dude, bro. Nobody can nobody can stop him. My problem with that series is if you watch what happened where Indiana was successful is half court started to become another defender and a problem for him. Mhm. So bringing the ball up the court against pressure, then you get that pick and roll happening damn near right by half court. So he ain’t got like his like even though like the court got bigger and wider, his space got limited. And so I think you need another guard. Mhm. You need somebody that can handle pressure, bring the ball up. And if you put that dude in the block oneonone down the stretch, you gotta You gotta double, bro. You got to d like It’s crazy. It’s crazy. Nobody can guard him. Yeah. Nobody can guard him. He gets his Yeah. He’s so crafty. And so, can you get him off the ball? cuz what happened or like nobody on the Knicks outside of Jaylen Brunson could bring the ball up the court. That’s the only reason why they lost. Mhm. Indiana puts pressure, you turn the ball over. Indiana puts pressure then you extend your offense and now you know Carl Anthony Towns got to play one-on-one from the top of the key the entire series. Now he talented as [ __ ] He can do that. But you can’t get you can’t figure out where a mismatch is, nothing cuz you still you playing at a almost like a frantic pace all the time. So if they can find somebody and they eating clock, they tearing the clock up. They tearing the clock up. So he dribbling the whole he got the ball the whole shot clock. He can’t even get off the ball, push off, get some space, and now have a live dribble. He don’t get he don’t get none of that. And so, one, that’s a testament to coaching. Like, if you don’t work on a press break, if you don’t know how to get your best player in multiple situations to be effective, and then if you only have one primary ball handler, that is your primary scorer, that is your primary playmaker, and you going to wear him out. Yeah. And so, you know, hopefully whoever comes in next is looking at how do we how do we make Jaylen Brunson dynamic? Al, your thoughts? I thought all that was fair. I There’s nothing worse. There’s no That is not a worse take. That was a good take. I agree with everything that he said because look, you keep you can go back to listen to Melo Shump and Cass talking about it on uh 700 p.m. in Brooklyn, right? And the one thing that we saw throughout the playoffs is that as the series, whether it was Pistons bought the Celtics or the Pacers, Brunson is amazing. You want the you want the rock in your best player’s hand at all times. I get that, but you need to be able to create for him as well. And that’s utilizing him offball, having another answer offensively. So that way, once again, as we just talked about with Mike Brown and potentially Pablo Pre joining joining this staff is you want to create offensive diversity, right? And we didn’t have that. And so if you got to rely on Jaylen Brunson to constantly bring up the rock, like the defense knows what it’s going to do. And they’re looking to blince him. though can get into corners, forcing him to make tough decisions, forcing turnovers, and not saying that he can’t handle that pressure, but as that wears on over a sevengame series, you’re going to start to slip. You’re not going to be perfect every single night. And you’re now asking Jaylen Bruns to be perfect every single night to execute when you start to see those blitzes, you start to see the different coverages, and you’re asking him to be out there more than he should because when you’ll get your bench, you’re not relying on campaign. Dylon Wright’s not going to be breaking down somebody. McBride is not going to be somebody that’s going to take someone to the cup and just create just the same way that Jaylen Brunson does. So, I agree with you want to be able to get him more more off ball to get him better looks because how many times did we see, you know, after a timeout, Tibs draws up a play, Brunson gets the ball in the corner, knocks down a three, and that was the easiest look that he got throughout the game. Right. So, look, I agree with everything that he said. That’s why we have the conversation. See if you talk about needing another point guard, right? So, hey, I I I agree with that take. That take is that’s a solid take by uh Boom Dizzle. Yeah, that that was a five for me. Definitely a five. Um we we’ve talked about this this concept of of Brunson being off ball. It’s just so many people in so many different ways. And from that pacer series on down, he spoke about Baron Davis spoke about the fact that they need another ball handler. Another another topic that we’ve that we’ve ran ragged on the on on this show and he spoke about the it’s an indictment on the coaching which I think is part of the reason why Tibs is no longer here along with other things. But when you look at the fact that they brought in a Brown or they’re looking to get the the offense more dynamic, they bring in a Nori, they bring in a Pione, I don’t think Carl Anthony Towns was one of those guys that was uh raising his hand to save Tibs during the exit beatings. You know what I’m saying? But with with all that being said, he he was right, man. like you know the the flaws and D said it you know a lot of their flaws got exposed in that series and so the challenge is going to be for Mike Brown how do they mix up the offense where it’s not solely reliant on Jaylen because as Baron said he’s the primary playmaker the primary scorer on that team a good defense is going to make you more one-dimensional and then when you Couple the fact that because there’s no diversity in the offense, there’s a lack of ball movement, it’s a my turn, your thing turn thing where you’re making Carl Anthony Towns be a one-on-one player from the top of the key a lot of the times and that’s not his game. That’s it’s just not going to work. You know, it’s not going to work. Like Melo said at 7 p.m. in Brooklyn, shout out Brandon Guest, we we need another Nembard. We need another NEOard on the team. But but it’s like he’s he’s right. So this is why I look at Mall Bridges and why when fans are like, “Yo, you can’t you can’t sign and why they give up the picks.” We we can’t look at back in the past. We got to look at what we have right now. And if you can’t get better than that, then you got to figure out how to utilize him as your secondary tertiary ball handler to to run offense through. It’s that simple, bro. For sure. And look, that’s why I was asking for during the regular season. I was like, we got this guy. We allowed guys like R.J. to be someone that led that second unit, to be a creator, to be an initiator. Why aren’t we allowing Bridges to do that? And we’re just giving Towns the full reigns of the second unit. And he’s not a creator. He still needed to be set up by campaign, whether it be working the post, being found on the perimeter, and look, talented scoreer, but and for as much heat as he got here, Julius, at least you could say did that to re relieve Brunson of being the sole creator, right? Not saying Julius was perfect, but at least he had somebody that can bring the ball up and start something. That’s what Bridges needs to do. And that’s probably the one thing I disagree with when they talked about uh Bridges on uh 7 PM in Brooklyn. It’s like, “No, no, no, no, no. He needs to be the guy that goes out there and does that. Man, there is a little bit more. We saw him do it out in Brooklyn. We know he’s capable of doing that. He should be able to do that here in New York. Give him the reps. Give him the reps.” Right. And I if look, yes, you can go out there, go get another point guard, but that’s the that’s part of the reason why he brought in Bridges, too, to be that dynamic wing to add a little bit more to the game to add that diversity. And we saw that, too. We saw it when Brunson was out. All right, we saw that when Brunson was out, Bridges was initiating the offense. It was by committee, but we saw, okay, even by committee, there is something there. And maybe if you give him more reps, he can get comfortable. Sometimes what it is for players CP is that even though they might not be great at it, they just need more reps to feel more comfortable and more confident because the game of basketball is about confidence. All right? They tell you to shoot with confidence. You can’t dribble without confidence either. So give Bridges those opportunities, man. I hope Mike Brown does that. Hey, I think he was politicking for that reason. We saw that man out in summer league sitting next to coach Brown for a reason. Yeah. And I think even with Leon Rose and G uh Gerson, right, I think the idea is like look, we Bridges was here underutilized for Tom Tibido did not fit what Tibs likes to do. You got to make it different. We made this investment. Forget the picks. You got to sign him. You can’t let this man walk. He’s going to get paid. But and if you’re going to pay him, utilize him. give him that expanded role. So, even though we still need uh another guy who can initiate the offense for the second unit, I think you got to give Bridges that chance. Yeah, I’m with you 100%. And look, if you were to play fantasy basketball and and you’re just looking for the guy, the guy’s probably booked. Long shot, probably not going to happen for the foreseeable future. if you want to if you want to look at on a on a B level is it a you know Kobe White type again not going to happen but you know those type of players. So for right now it’s Jordan Clarkson bro you know you know what I’m saying it’s a Jordan Clarkson show. Let’s get it cracking. Let’s go. He man he can pass the rock man. Look he averaged five assists and they look he is going to put up some shots that have you scratching your head. There will be I think everyone said it on the show. There will be some reminiscence of J.R. Smith. All right. Be like, “All right, man. Phenomenal outing, but why did you take these shots over here? What made you think that was a good idea?” Clark is going to do that, but I think the passing is the most underrated part of his game, and I think he will find guys. I think people will be a little bit more I think people will be a little a little pleasantly surprised at how well he can actually create for others and get guys going. That’s our neb mellow. Holl at us, man. We got our on them, man. Salute to everybody in the chat. CP and Alex on the ones and twos. Worst take segment of the show. Let us know what you guys thought about B. Diddy’s comments, man. Uh Baron Davis, sorry, we can’t use that old nickname. That that’s no good around these parts anymore. Uh remember, at the end of the show, Babito’s Book of Bull Bang Bang is going to a lucky winner. Autographed by our guy Babito Garcia. And a lot of good tales in this book from our guy. So yeah, I thought that was that was a fivestar clip there. Okay, so that was the easy one. Al, you asked for that one. That was the easy one. Now had to ease into it, Steve. You had to ease into it. Yeah. So now it’s going to get a little bit more controversial. Okay. And when it gets to controversial, we got to pull up our guys at the 520 podcast with Jeff Teague and them, you know, never short on the hot takes or the worst takes. Now, this was them having a debate between who they would take between one Jaylen Brunson and Isaiah Thomas. Not Zeke from the Pistons, Isaiah Jamar Thomas. of the Celtics. All right, so let’s listen to this clip and make sure the audio is good. If not, I got to adjust the audio. Here we go. If you’re starting a team All right. Yeah, I gotta adjust the audio. Hang tight. Hang tight. We’re going to get to it. Let’s listen to it and let’s react to it. Here we go. If you’re starting a team, both players are healthy. Who are you taking? Jaylen Brunson. I’m taking it. Never. I am. They do the same. That was a debate then. It do it better. Really? M. Who would better score between two? It he biased. He was playing. I I swear to God, I’m not being biased. I love I love I watch Bronson grow up. We average. I don’t give a damn, bro. Brussel, what he average? Y’all rock out. All right, listen. We got to move off for this. I’m ask one question. A better score. We got to pick one so we can move on. Better score between the two. Who you taking? No, they got they opinion. Better score. Yeah. Yeah, of course. Who you taking a team for [ __ ] Can I do I got to say or player? See healthy. Fully healthy, [ __ ] Health is full. Okay. It he 30, bro. Score. It score. I’m gonna take it for as bucket. Okay. Player. I’m taking it. Player. That’s tough for me. I’mma probably take JB, though. Okay. All right. We let the chat figure the rest out for show, man. I hope healthy, bro. This [ __ ] was y’all see that. Y’all know everybody steal our [ __ ] So, we going to see this on other. We’ll see what everybody Yeah, this will be on first take tomorrow. No, sir. But this will be on worst take because we’re going to react to it. Al, and good people in the chat, rate that take in the chat. One being trash, five being facts. Al, your thoughts. First of all, I’m calling flag on the play. All right. And I want to challenge that we make sure that we get this man watched again so that way I can throw another flag on the play. This is ridiculous. All right. Talk about it. First of all, they are not the same. All right, anybody that watched it, King of the Fourth and what phenomenal time that he had out in Boston, all right, as a guy who lives out here and had to watch enough of it, I can tell you this. They are not the same. All right, they are not the same. Not even close, not to how they get a bucket whatsoever. The amount of screens that had to be set for it to get going downhill, all right, so that way he get a runway to score was insane. Jaylen Brunson doesn’t need a screen, okay? He can body people, get to his point, use the footwork, and score in the paint. All right, get get out of this nonsense with I look good. Very well deserving of being in the top five for MVP during that time period. All right. Fun fun player to watch just to fight just to be look small guard. What he was like uh 5’8 I don’t think he’s 5’9, man. I think they added I think I think they added some platforms on the shoes to really get the get the height up there. But hey, look that guy for as phenomenal he was not even close to the style play that Jill and Brunson is. That is the worst take I ever heard. Yo, man, he might be your boy, but but let’s be real, man. He is not even close to what not even close to the same player at all. Yeah, good people in the chat, man. What do you guys think, man? What do you guys think? these, you know, I would say this, he did have a phenomenal year in that one year, uh, 2016, 2017. He had a great year, did Isaiah Thomas. Um, he averaged, I’m just I’m pulling his numbers up right now. This was his his all-star AllNBA year where he averaged 28.9 points per game. Shot 38% from three on on eight and a half attempts. I mean, he he was letting it fly. He finished he finished he finished fifth that year in the MVP voting. So, I mean, if you talk about his peak year with JB’s, it’s it’s numbers-wise, it’s it’s kind of close, but I’m with you in that JB was a way better dynamic score. Way more dynamic score. And as you said, does not need the screen to cook. All right. The assist numbers way better for people who say he don’t pass. All right. So, if you don’t think JB pass, what what do you think Isaiah Thomas was doing? He was a bucket. Don’t get me wrong. It was definitely a bucket. But I’m going with Cap. And even if you want to say, hey, you know, you want to talk about Cap’s defense, whatever. What do you think Isaiah Thomas was doing? You know what I’m saying? What do you think Isaiah Thomas was doing out there? So, as it relates to scoring and overall play, I’m taking cap and and you know, that’s that’s that’s that’s not being biased. That’s just a fact. I’m going with Jaylen Brunson. Can I also just say this other thing, too, because I’m just I’m just want to pull up the stats and make sure I I’m reading this uh correctly. Sure. Uh, and uh, looking at the stats right here and cuz when you when you bring up he was averaging 28 points per game. Can we also just make it known that who else was he passing the rock to on that team? It’s fair. Was it Marcus Marcus Morris, Al Horford, Avery Bradley? Who else is scoring on that team? They needed him to score every single ounce to keep that team competitive. Brunson, by the way, averaged 26 points this season next to who? Carl Anthony Towns, Macau Bridges. All right. You have two other guys who can score the rock. And yet Brunson still getting 26 points. You had two allstars on this team. That’s not easy to do. And to be as efficient as Jaylen Brunson is, I’m telling you, man, it’s not even close to who the It’s not even close. It’s great year. Fun year. All right, look, you don’t even have to be a Celtics fan to be rooting for somebody that stood at 5’9 scoring the basketball the way that he did because it was just electric. Okay, if you just love basketball, it was electric. But it’s not even close to who the scoring the best scoring guard is between Jaylen Brunson and Isaiah Thomas. It’s it’s there’s different levels to how it was it gets done. All right. And we can even look through the postseason what Jaylen Brunson had to who he’s had to face, who he had to go up against. And I’ll even say this, it was the LeBron le East. Okay? It was LeBron and everybody else. You talk about Jaylen Brunsw going against Miami with Eric Spolster and Jimmy Butler. You talk about having to take down Joel Embiid. Okay, look at the run that they had this year. Just impressive, man. Yeah, I it good player, man. He had a phenomenal season with the Celtics. It’s just not even close, man. The resumes just don’t stack up. Way way bigger bag. I’m I’m with Anthony Calamari. Way bigger bag. And as you said, built he’s built for the playoffs. Durability has to factor into this. You know what I’m saying? Like if you’re gonna talk about who I’m building a team with, I’m going with the guy with the proven playoff track record and pedigree. Now, Isaiah Thomas got hurt in that same year. He busted up his hip against the Cavs and was never the same again. But it also factors into his smaller frame. Can you do that from year to year to year? Can you cook? There’s There’s levels to it. I’m going with Captain Clutch, man. He’s tougher, better bag, built for the playoffs. At his peak, higher career high, what was it? 61 against the Spurs. Mhm. It was 52 against Miami. Now, like I said, the fourth quarter numbers are are are very interesting, man. Uh Isaiah Thomas 225 total points in the clutch, 5.1 points per game in the clutch. Brunson 156 last year in his uh clutch player of the year award, 5.6 points per game in the clutch. It’s interesting. I I I don’t I don’t think it it’s, you know, a huge gap, but I’m still going with Captain Clutch. I would say once again who like you talk about this year Brunson also missed time. Don’t forget that he did get injured. That’s true. And still won and and was still at the top of the league and still won. Look at that. True. That that does factor in, right? He did miss. How many games did he miss? Was like he only played 65 this year. Yeah. Could have closed the gap a little bit. So you’re talking about close to close to 20 games. Was like 18 17 18 something like that. Yeah. So, I think it’s 17 games that he missed. Hey, 17 games could have gotten you to those to the same point total. 17. I And how much did Isaiah play in his peak that peak season? 76. There you go. Doing the math. Way to break it down. Just stop with the nonsense. Look, man, I get I get I get that you have to have different takes on some of these shows. I I I do think it’s an interesting It is an interesting debate. I I don’t think it’s as worse takey. Like if I had to rate that take, one being trash, five being facts, I give it a three. Wow. I give it a three. What do What do you think, man? Going with a two. Okay. All right. It’s not the worst. I mean, look look, the worst takes are are safe for one, uh, Gilbert Arenas. All right. He’ll always get the number one. Yeah, he’s all the way out the window. I mean, that that’s I’m going to give a solid two on this one because look, it’s probably Teague’s boy. All right. You played against him during that time. All right. So, I get it. You saw him. You actually played against him. You didn’t get to I get it, man. I get it. But when we when we play when we sang on the resume, man, let’s just do a little more homework. Okay. Okay. That’s all I’m asking for. Good good people in the chat. Rate that take by Jeff Teague and company at the club 520 podcast. They put it Isaiah Thomas over Jaylen Brunson. Rate the take in the chat. Son from Brooklyn. He says he’s with you. It’s a two out. He says it’s a two. Okay. Shout out to son. Shout out to our franchise channel members. CP in it. doing CP doing a phenomenal job interviewing Deuce McBride. McBride dropping some gems. Okay, it’s a great time. Got to show up, man. Got to show up. Got to show out for the orange and blue. And look, Deuce got the Duce ovation as soon as he walked in, man. People were hyped. He sure did. He sure did. So, and and Duce is on quite the uh he’s on quite the media tour. Shout out to him and his team. Is he becoming the president, man? What’s happening? Right. Is is he going to compete for Stephen A for the for the Democratic uh nomination? Deuce is having quite the the press run, man. He’s working this off season. I I commend him and his team 100%. But yeah, yeah, he’s working, man. But but yeah, for everybody that showed out at Vegas, um it was a great event. The Virgin was happy. They just sent us email said, “Man, we we can’t wait to do it bigger and better next year.” here. So, we’re already planning next year and and how to level it up. So, that definitely going to be a good time and looking forward to next year’s edition. Okay, let’s get to the phones. Dan from New Jersey. Dan, how you feeling, man? Got koke. Wah wah wah. How you feeling, man? Yo, Alex CP. Yo. Um, first things first, I’m Nick Fan TV hive all the way, bro. I’m a ride or die. Let’s go. So, I wanted to formally extend my congratulations to you and Alex JD, the rest of the KFTV squad for that um legendary performance at Nick’s Twitter today. Appreciate it, man. We we we did it for the people, man. We appreciate you, man. Yeah. No, JC. No, no, that that um that that little lefthand layup you did at the NCP, that was clutch. That was clutch. But, you know what I say about that money time, Dan? You know, I don’t just talk about it. I live it, man. You know what I’m saying? No, that was that that was insane. I felt like I was actually watching a real Knicks game there. And to go up against the the the favorites and Sean’s team. Yeah. That guy has some hops. Yeah. Now, because of the new stack and it might be hard to keep uh all of KFTV squad together. Yeah. So, you know, just wanted to put my name out there. I’m a 3 and D guy. 63 Ree, you know. 63 wingspan. Shot 38% in high school on high volume. You know, you know where to reach me. I have my agent send over some footage. Uh we could talk contract details. I’ll take a vet minimum if you know I got to take one for the team. Please. We Well, Dan from New Jersey, ladies and gentlemen, is putting his hat in the ring. Dan, we appreciate you, man. Send us a tape. Yeah, man. KFT. I got to keep it real. I’m not going to crash the boards cuz I got shoulder mobility issues. I dislocated my my my shoulder. But, you know, I run a 450 mile and you know, I I I I run the gun, man. I I get back real fast. Well, we we 450 mile. Holy cow. We would uh we would prefer that, you know, you you uh you know, issue your weaknesses in private. We don’t want to give out too much tape. Uh that they’re listening that the scouting report is out there on us. The tape is already out there. So, we we prefer, you know, just just tell us that in private. We’ll work it out. We’ll work it out. Yeah. Yeah. You got it, man. But they can’t stop the trigger. I’m telling you right now, man. That’s a quick shot I got. Okay. Dan from New Jersey, ladies and gentlemen, putting his hat in the ring out. Yeah, man. 450 mile. Yeah, we Damn. What are you doing for a marathon or something? What are you doing? He’s well conditioned, man. And you know, they they they’re they’re expanding the rosters by two, which is which is dangerous. Yeah, I gave you two more spots to fill. This is dangerous. Okay. And they’re extend extend the games because fiveminute has was a little ridiculous. They are they are extending the games. They’re extending the rosters. They’re adding in new teams. These is nice. The West Coast is getting into the mix. So, you know, if you thought we were marked men this past one, they’re they’re gunning for us, man. Hey, well, look, Jimmy the sniper. JD already building some chemistry. They got out there getting runs, getting some intel on people. Yeah, the the road to the repeat is already underway. Jimmy and JD are already hooping. They’re hooping out there in uh in in Bushwick. So, shout out to them. I’m hearing that we do have, you know, some competitors out there as well. So, you know, they’re trying to get in on the action and see what we’re doing out there. Okay. Let me let me pull up the highlight tape. It’s Jimmy. Jimmy with the corner jumper. He’s already getting ready. Al. All right. So, driving kicks all day. If you see him in the corner, already know. Hand down, man down. Sniping. There goes that sniping. There goes Jimmy. Pull up. The pull-up game is on the money. All right. I told these guys I’m going to pull up when one of these days, but I’ll just be watching because I need I need about a full year to to recover for the next one. Oh man, I’m Well, I want to show up. I I just I told JD, “Hey, man, next time I’m in New York, I got to go run with these guys, man. That court looks sick.” Yeah, looks like a nice court, man. I’ll I’ll I’ll let you know how it looks when I get there, but I’ll I’ll just be watching, man. I got See if he’s got to have some CB’s going to look like Patrick bagged up in some ice. Let me tell you something. I I took a major major risk. Oh, hold on. I I took a major risk to win this championship with us and I’m just glad I got out of there alive and unsafe. Hey, you were talking about being injured coming into this. You know, you’re talking us me and JD about it, man. But you went out there and you battled CP. I had not played I had not played competitive basketball in over a year prior to I took a major risk for you guys, man. So, whatever it takes. So, listen. I don’t know how many more of these I got in my bag. The next year might be my last one before I hang it up again for good. You know, like MJ for 45, he only came back two years. That that just might be me. Just two quick ones and and you know, I give I hand the baton off. Can’t be. It can’t be true. CP, that defense was otherworldly. Yeah. Stifling. I I had to get gritty. CP, you know what’s not talked about much? You know, you know, and shout out to CK for pointing this out. All right. What was halftime against Sean’s team? 1510 something like that. Yeah, we were down. You know, this is why these guys is yapping all over the place. We had to We had to really get it gritty in that game, CP. But here’s something that no one’s talking about. Hold on. Ready for this? Yeah. We were down 15 something that second half. What was What was the final score before it went into OT? I don’t remember. 1717 for For eight minutes straight. We held Sean’s team to two points. Defense was on point, baby. Talk about it. All right. Talk about it. Wrapped up. Yeah, man. I’m I’m showing JD’s highlight reel. JD got his own highlight reel from Brooklyn this weekend. Yeah, man. Man. Yeah. Who taught who? Was it JB that taught JD or was it JD that taught JB? Who knows? Oh, man. This man stopping on a dime. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And and and uh I’m showing the um Oh, well, I had I had the picture up with with uh Commissioner Stiller with us holding holding the chip up. You know what I’m saying? Just have to do what we have to do, man. Just just just get it done for the for the crew, for the city. What Whatever you’re putting on that trophy, man. It’s It’s just It’s just, you know, it gives off all glare, man. You know, it’s blinding me for a second. All right. Yeah. You You know how we do, man. Okay. All right. This was another fun one before we get to our trivia. This was another fun one that uh that we did. during the dog days of the off season building a lineup for $15, the Nick Dark Ages edition. And this was a collaboration with our guys at the Strickland. So, you know, you know how you see these on social media where you got to build, you know, your your ideal lineup, your ideal starting five, and you got a limited budget. So, per per position, you have certain players that are worth a specific amount of money. So, uh, you know, I’m not going to run through all the players, but you know, you have your point guard. This is all from 2014 to 2020. Now, Melo being the the highest worth at $7. Now, I’m wondering out why they didn’t put Amari in this. I don’t know why they didn’t put Stat in this. What do you think? Should we just put Stat in it? What do you think? Or should we keep him off? I don’t know. Where would you put St? Would you put stat $7? What would I first year? I would put stat at $7 for that first year. But that’s the thing. It was only one year. Well, if we’re talking about 2014. Oh, it’s the 2014. It’s for 2014 to 20. Well, he wasn’t. He wasn’t there. No, he wasn’t really there like that. Nope. All right. So, then you can’t really put stat in there. Okay. No. Yeah. All right. So, they’re point guards. Uh, for a dollar, you got Jared Jack. This is going from $1 to $5. Jared Jack, Langston Galloway, Frank Nilikina, Pablo Pion, and Raymond Felton. They got Ray Felt. $5. That’s pricey, man. Um, shooting guards from $1 to $5. Alexis Fed, Damen Dodson, rookie RJ Barrett, Iman Shumpert, and J.R. Smith. Small forwards, Lance Thomas, Michael Beasley, Aaron Alow. He should have been 50 cents, but they put him in there at $3. Uh Timmy Tim Hardway Jr., Moo Morris, $5. I I like that. I think that’s accurate. And Melo at $7. Power forwards, you got Jason Smith, you got Kylo Quinn, Taj Gibson, Bobby Portoris, and Julius, the 2019 2020 version of Julius Randall. Okay. Oh boy. And rounding out the centers, you got uh Billy Hearn and Gomez, Raleo, Robin Lopez, the rookie blockchess monster, Tyson Chandler, and Christoff Porzingis. So Al, with $15, build me the perfect all dark ages team. So wait, if this is the build the best All Dark Ages team, are they trying to win or they trying to lose? What am I doing over here? That’s a great That’s a great question, bro. That’s a great question, bro. Oh, man. Should I go for We’re trying to win here and trying to win some games. All right. Yeah. Well, well, you’re going head up against my team. Oh, okay. Yeah. Well, $7. Uh I’m going to have to go with uh I got to take the best player available out here. So, I got to go spend $7 on one Melo. All right. Okay. Carmelo Anthony. Okay. All right. So, what was I’m with $8 in Okay. Yeah, that’s the thing. Spend wisely. Yeah. Sheesh. This is getting Yeah. Yeah. Get gets a little dicey, man. It does. It does. It does. It does. Where am I going next, man? This is the question. I got to look and see. Am I get any more offense from anywhere? Where’s my Where’s my offense coming from, man? This is getting dark. Yeah, dark real quick. Oh my goodness. Ah, you know what? Wait, do I want to do that? That sounds terrible. That seems very terrible. Damn, man. What do you think, man? All right. Give me Jared Jack for $1. Okay. All right. So, it’s $8 now. So, what? So, so I got seven left. All right. Give me uh boy, I can tell you really didn’t do your homework on this, man. This is tough, man. I had so many options, but it looks bad. I want I want people to know the struggle of this team. This is a struggle. They’re not getting much offense out here. I’m going to go with Give me J.R. Smith. I’ll take J.R. Smith. Okay. Okay. So, what was that? So, I had uh eight. So, now what? I’m down to $3. Yeah. Down to $3. So, I need two more spots. Looks like I’m taking uh Willie Hearn and Gomez. Why is my Why is the name slipping me for uh power forward position? Power forward. Yeah. Who’s you want? Jason Smith. Jason Smith. Thank you. Okay. Cuz I only had three Well, I Oh, I had $3 left, right? Yeah. Oh, no. Give me Kyle Quinn. So, who’s your team? It’ll be Melo, Kyle, Quinn, Willie Hearn, and Gomez. Uh J.R. Smith, and Jared Jack, Jr. at the two. Yeah, JR at the two. And Kylo Quinn. Yep. Let make sure you didn’t go over budget here. What is that? One. Uh uh. Okay. Five. Okay. Seven. Two. And Billy. You’re over budget, man. That’s what I was asking. I’m over budget. Yeah, you’re over budget, man. You cheating, bro. All right. Your team is too stacked. Jason Smith. There you go. Jason Smith. It is all right. He had a nice little mid-range pop. Oh, this team’s going to be turn style. Yeah. So, you’re going Jared Jack, Jr. Melo, Jason Smith, and Billy. Oh, yeah. We had a lot of hopes of that. Billy Hive was strong, wasn’t it? That Billy Hive was strong, man. The delusions of gradu were were were very big for Billy Horn and Hearn and Gomez. All right, here here’s where I’m going. I’m going with Melo at the three. Seven bucks. I’m cashing out. Okay. I’m going with Jared Jack along with you, man. I’m going with Jared Jack. You know, at this stage of his career, hey, give the ball to Melo. Get out the way. That’s it. I don’t really need much from the point guard at this stage at this situation. We’re giving it to Melo. We’re running the offense through Melo. However, at the two, I’m going with whole team DOT. Three and D. I’m going with Datson with the 3 and D potential. All right. So, I I still got a little athleticism on the wing, some defense, a little scrappiness, and occasional can knock down the three if Melo wants to pass the ball. All right, I got Melo at the three. at the four. I’m going with Kylo Quinn. I’m going with Kyle. I get a little pop. I get a little score it a little passing. I get some boards. Ain’t know where I’m going with the five. Young Block Ness. We got We need some defense. We need some balance. Mitchell Robinson. I’m going with Mitch at the five. Young Blockch Ness was jumping out the gym, blocking three-pointers everywhere in his rookie season. Gotham Lobs, you know, if Melo want to pass it, we got Gotham Lobs left, right, and center from Jared Jack Melo. You know, Datson might be able to throw a couple. That’s my five. All right. So, what we’re going to do is make sure that uh Melo goes against Mitch so that way Mitch fouls out quickly as a rookie. Yeah. And now the now now the game’s wide open for me. That That’s what’s going to happen. Jared Jack, Damen Dodson, Carmelo, Kylo Quinn, and Mitchell Robinson. These teams are god. Yeah. Somebody said, “Swap for Beasley and you good.” Well, you can’t. You You need Beasley at the four. You already got a three. Can’t really change the rules. Ideally, I’d like to have Melo playing the four, but you know, these are the rules. You got to stick to the rules. You know what I’m saying? So, all right. These are the things we do in the dog days of the offseason. I want to know how we knew. We We came up with the pricing, man. The price. I don’t You got to ask. How How is Timmy more expensive than Michael Beasley? Yeah, that was a little foot trick that they throwing in there. You know what? That was a little foot trick they throwing in there. Michael Beasley $2. Why? Aaron Aalo is $3. Yeah. What? What? And no Courtney Lee. We didn’t get no No. No. Courtney Lee in this. Yeah. Court. They didn’t even have Courtney Lee in there. What? But what what year was Courtney Le uh wasn’t he wasn’t he 22 23? No, he was before that, man. He was there with KP. Okay. Remember? Yeah. Supposed to be D. Rose Court. What? Hold on. Now, now, now I’m confusing myself. Let me make sure. I think that was, wasn’t that 23? No, no, no. I’m bugging. I’m bugging. Now I’m mixing up my ears. Yeah, definitely mixing up the ears. Hold on a second. Mhm. I got to go back until old time machine before I start speaking out of term. Uh, he was on the 2016 17, man. H on the 16th 2016 1617. Okay. Yes, sir. Okay. All right. Well, that was a good that was a fruitful uh and constructive exercise. Yeah, he was with Derrick Rose and the KP that I was right. I was on I was on track. It was supposed to be the you know, they were supposed to compete with the Warriors as uh Derrick Rose was talking about. Yeah. Okay. All right. Good stuff by you, man. All right. It’s tough. That was a tough loss, man. Rest in peace to him. Condolences to his family, his wife, his daughter. Tragic, man. tragic way to to to go out, man. Absolutely tragic, man. And you talk about growing up and it’s so it’s so crazy to even think about where that first episode is him not wanting to be in school, right? But the storytelling, the seasons, he ends up graduating from college, man. Yeah. You know, it was a grind for him, but that it’s that’s true. That man, I love the comedy show, bro. I grew up with that. Watched it every single night. Loved it. Loved it. And that first show, man, there’s nothing funny where I brought you into this world. I’ll take it out. There’s nothing better than that line. That was a classic bar, man. I mean, how many years later, that was a classic bar. And so, like, you know, I’m just going through Twitter and and you know, the algorithms will start showing you the stuff that based on what you’re looking at. So, I people just dropping classic episodes. I’m just like, man, like I remember that to this day, you know, just just the oneliners and uh and all the skits that they used to do in the house. Yeah. Yeah. That that was that was that was classic, man. Classic. And uh you know, just in that sitcom era, which we don’t really get much more of. We’re kind of in the we’re not kind of we are deeply in the the reality show era. Yes. It’s different, man. It’s different. It’s very different. The script writing, beautiful storytelling, you know, now it’s all for like shock value. I really That’s the one thing I miss, man. the storytelling when you watch these sitcoms and just feeling like you know the characters you grew up with them you know I mean I could just man there’s just so many things I remember from watching the Cosby show I could go deep into like the bag but won’t hold everybody too long man but I’ll say the last one from that same episode nothing funnier than you give Theo the the Monopoly money and where he’s like no I’ll eat a ham sandwich it’s like oh you’re going to have a [Laughter] cashed out. Yo, realtor. He goes, “You plan on having a girlfriend?” For sure. Out of there. Give me all of that. Oh man, that that was great. You can’t Man, the creativity, the writing, you can’t match that, man. Yeah. And and the thing is too, like you know, like it’s meant that scene’s meant to be funny to act it out and to get the reaction that we’re like that we can still think about it these many years later. That’s the that’s the beauty of the show, man. So really hurt. I when I saw that across my timeline, I was like, is this fake? I I was like, is this absolutely fake? Yeah. Damn, man. Tough tough. Damn, we lost one. Yeah, we sure did, man. We sure did. Uh but yeah, man. Rest in peace to him, man. and we appreciate everything he did for the culture and as you see you know timeless timeless memories man those are good people in terms of their uh their impact on our lives man so you know he was certainly one of them ones man so rest in peace once again Malcolm Jamal Warner uh great show out great show all the mods remember that this show is available in audio podcast format no reason to miss it so to the replay gang and hey whenever the next uh bit of Nick’s news drops you guys know where to find us man number one show for the fans by the fans. We out of here, man. Peace.

Gottah know what he's implemented as a OC before I know if I want him.
Damn I missed the live 🤦🏿♂️
IT was a fine pg, but not at the level of JB.
Hearing some media rumors about Jordan Goodwin released from the Lakers a possible fit for backup pg? Shake Milton also released.
I would go Chandler Julius Beasley Broadway Barrett and Jack decent mix of defense and offense
Mike browns offense w prigi's pg Genius knicks will play faster knows what Towns likes familiar w the big line up they used in Minnesota and Brown will fix the rest no worries no jumping out the window but yall need to just get behind the machine Leon swings big so if he misses his second swing is set up all in the plan
Im here for the extra late night posts guys most polished page on YouTube
Iso Zo is my starting guard FOR SURR
Kp,jules,Beas,jack,and Dot. Wanted melo 😆 but i want to compete 😆 🤣 😂
I like the Pablo Prigioni interest a lot. I wish the Knicks could interview Terry Stotts but, Ian Begley isn’t a possibility. I still want the Knicks to add someone from the Warriors tree like Jerry Stackhouse or Chris DeMarco. I really like Dave Bliss but, I doubt he leaves OKC. If they add Prigioni I still would like to add Chris DeMarco or Jerry Stackhouse, Leandro Barbosa and, maybe Adrian Griffin.
👉Shout out to Baron (Boom Dizzle, B-Dazzled, Too Easy, The Baron, The Beard, Bart Oatmeal) Davis with the💯take – As Andrew Sharp once wrote "…as a young player, Baron was like a hybrid of Allen Iverson, Stephon Marbury and Steve Francis. Next to the three guards from the future, here was one who borrowed strengths of all three. As ferocious as Iverson, as creative as Marbury, as explosive as Steve Francis. When his jumper was falling, he was 100-percent unguardable" P.S. Prob time to retire the B-Diddy nickname btw.
I don't care, I'm going Mitch, Randle, Beasly, Shump, Jack.
IT is not Jalen Brunson
I like the thought of Pablo coming back and helping the Knicks get a step closer to the Finals. Another important piece to the machine.
"Nem-bard" will never not be hilarious.😂 S/O to Melo for that gem.😂😂
We should be a 100k already!!! This channel should be growing faster!
Can we get more JD/CP commentary
Great show fellas ❤
The IT > than The Captain is a lot closer to being inducted into the worst takes hall of fame than being a real conversation.
By the way, unfortunately health does matter.
It’s a 1 😮
You gotta respect Baron Davis still able to make decent takes while being high af.
I love me some Pablito (OAKAAKUYOAK), but do we really think the Timberwolves' offense was all that creative during the playoffs?
Big up yuhself mi bredda khaan get enuff yail up alex ghe wotse take a yuh a gi it a 3…just kidding.dat stras cspt. Clutch is unmat chsble.
why do y'all ever take Gil serious lol he a jokester and we love him for that. not for facts but when he get serious he do know what he talking about most the time. especially when its about scoring
BD speaking the truth. 5 all the way! Can we go get Brogdon now or something akin to him to give JB a break and some space. What's up? I wish we could get both Simmons and a healthy Brogdon.
Prigioni was my guy
