In 1993, beloved Nets legend Drazzen Petravvic was driving home with his girlfriend and friend in Germany following a loss against Poland’s national team. As they were headed back on the autobond, his girlfriend Claraara suddenly lost control of the vehicle which resulted in a head-on crash against a truck. Both his girlfriend and Drazan were killed as during the crash he was sleeping and was ejected from the window dying on impact. Only their friend Hilal survived. It was found that none of the three passengers of the vehicle were wearing seat belts at the time of the incident.
