Kyrie Irving GOES OFF on the Media DISRESPECTING Kobe Bryant

Kyrie Irving GOES OFF on the Media DISRESPECTING Kobe Bryant

There’s been a lot of talk in the media recently about Kobe Bryant and his career. In particular, this Bleacher Report ranking of the top 100 NBA players of all time, ranking Kobe number 11. And Kyrie Irving on his Twitch stream went off on the media for their Kobe disrespect. I’m not letting people revise history. I’m not letting people come on and talk about Kobe like Kobe wasn’t one of the best that not only played, but that came in as a 17-year-old against grown men. And by the time this man was 22 years old, he had a few championships and he was busting the best of the best ass. If y’all don’t knock that [ __ ] off, I’m talking to y’all at home, the the [ __ ] media talking heads, the the ones that casually casually throw names around like, “Bro, if you don’t knock it off, you weren’t like that. It’s okay. Not everybody could be Cob. Not everybody could wear those size, you know what I mean, size shoes that he had.” Yeah. I’m I’m I’m not I’m not going down into detail about this because what what’s what’s said on the internet in the digital space is said this the internet but when it comes to real respect and real recognized and real this man Kobe Bean Bryant is immortalized not just because of his basketball that’s what I’m trying to tell y’all like this man immortal he he is way bigger because of the character because of what we witnessed him go through we didn’t care if he we didn’t we didn’t care about certain certain failures. The real Kobe fans didn’t care about the failures. They didn’t care about the naysayers. The real Kobe fans, the real Mamba fans that I’m talking to didn’t care about who he was competing with. We know who [ __ ] with Kobe and who didn’t. I know who [ __ ] with Kobe and who didn’t. I’m not going to say I knew Kobe the best at all. I won’t say that, you know, and I’m not going to disrespect all his relationships. I’m not going to do that. But what I will say is put put respect put respect where it’s due y’all. We know we know who Cob [ __ ] with. That’s the thing. We not letting people revise history. At the end of the day, when I look at the way that people are treated when they’re no longer here, right, it that bothers me. He clearly he’s he’s not able to sit in front of us and give us the takes or or give us the you know how he feels about his own takes. But bro, can we just be honest at this point? The man put on the shoes and became 2.0 of one of the greatest of all time play. He obviously is Kobe being Bryant, but the man studied the greatest of all time. And this has nothing to do with rankings. This has everything to do with just the culture recognizing like right. I’ll give you another name. right? That we’re not going to allow people to revise history. Hakeem oan, y’all. Salams to my big brother, man. Salams to to to Hakee. We’re not going to let people pretend like Hakee was not that. Before there was a Tim Duncan, there was a Hakee Oajan. Now, I’m not comparing the two. I’m not. But I’m saying before there was a Kobe, there was a Mike. Before there was a Mike, there was a Julius Irving. You guys got to really like just put it in perspective for how I am saying these things. Y’all, this has nothing to do with comparing anybody right now. Now, I’ll give you my two cents. Y’all are arguing over who’s the GOAT. I don’t [ __ ] care. I don’t care who the GOAT is. I don’t care cuz basketball is bigger than the GOAT. And even the GOAT of basketball will tell you that. Basketball is bigger than the Gats. Basketball’s bigger than these media fan votes, these media voted awards. This man Kobe had one MVP. Why do you think that is? It maybe maybe because we’re missing out the context that there was a there was a span of time where nobody really [ __ ] with him or people were looking at him different or his peers were teaching him different that y’all don’t really know about. Hakee Oluan winning two championships when Mike left. Reason why I brought up Hakee is because he’s a Muslim brother in the NBA playing fasting, giving people 40 while fasting during Ramadan. Fasting, giving people 40. It’s doable. That’s what I’m saying. The things that I was involved in, you know what I mean? It’s not just involved in, but the things that I’ve committed to, it it has a lot of historical context that we’re missing out and that the media fails to add in. Right? I don’t give a [ __ ] who the goat is, but y’all not about to just sit here and just disrespect basketball. Would you People just be saying the wildest takes, who who’s the best at this, who’s the best at that. Y’all can have that. But when it comes to the basketball culture, it’s bigger than the goats. Nobody’s bigger than the

  1. Kyrie has had some bad takes this is not one of them. I hated Kobe growing up. But dude wanted to win so bad played hard gave it all never left LA. He gotta be top 5

  2. For the last twenty years it’s all good to trash KD, Kyrie, Steph, Bron, Luka.. but don’t dare talk bad about Kobe. Or players that existed 40 years ago. Those players get a pass for some reason.

  3. LEBRONIANS….. that's all they do. Knowing he ain't good as Kobe certainly can't touch GOAT JORDAN!!! 1A 1B JORDAN KOBE!!! Put some respect on Kobe name before you make this Bum out to be at the top

  4. Aint even a Kobe fan but 11 is just a lie, top 5 without a doubt. Say what you want but dude covers all bases.

  5. MUSLIM or Munafiq Kyrie…
where you at…if you're standing on ISLAM; put some RESPECT ON ALLAHU TA'ALA and recognize that your words, your profanity are signs of your Character! WE ALL need to Grow… INSHALLAH You will too…
    WASSALAM☝️

  6. Funny hahaha I understand your point but how can you fit every one in top 10 lol hey that's just list of. Person why don't you make your own list we have our own opinion media have their own opinion. I think your just High mate.

  7. I will forever love Ky for the way he stands up for Bean. The will be NO Kobe disrespect, OR Ky slander tolerrated 😤 let these goofs have their 15 mins, their light illuminates only while attaching themselves to real greatness 🐍🐐

  8. Thanks for speaking the Truth! Kobe Bean Bryant is my GOAT! The man tore his Achilles and sink two free throws and walk off the court with his own power. Kobe wanted to tape up his ankle and come back and finish the game. How many NBA Superstar this season went down with the same injury's and barely can get off the court. The DREAM is Top 5 all time Center in the Game!

  9. I love Kobe my favorite player of all time. But even I can see since he passed there this weird energy like it’s disrespectful to criticize his game or say someone better. People got on Jeff Teague for his opinion on Kobe defense (which he was not wrong at all) but he got slander. It’s OKAY to criticize Kobe and say he not the best player but he still was great all time great. He my favorite but he not Jordan or LeBron level but he still great relax loo

  10. Im not surprised people were hating on Kobe before he passed and its only a matter of time before they started hating again RIP Mamba

  11. Yea them niggas gay putting Steph over Kobe foh . Steph is the greatest shooter of all time bus hasn’t even retired yet. Get off dick I bet you they won’t say he better than bron

  12. Glad somebody said it out loud for Olajuwon, having him outside the top 10 is just as disrespectful as leaving Kobe out there imo

  13. Was anybody worth their salt openly bad-mouthing Kobe and Hakeem??? Sounds kinda like Lil Fake Woke is looking to piggyback legends to tweak/fix his own image….not a bad move strategically, given the average IQ of NBA fans.
