  1. Why are y’all forgetting that they finished 23-7 then Jimmy got intentionally hurt in playoffs and curry’s injury. That win percentage is projected towards a 60+ win season!!! And they have the chemistry already to do the job!!!! There offense and defense skyrocketed to top in the second half of the season

  2. Steph has been a decidedly less consistent player since the All-Star break two seasons ago. What sets a "superstar" apart from the mere "star" is the consistency of high-level play from game to game. Steph was at that level for much of his career, but now no longer. This team, as currently constructed, is not coming close to sniffing a championship. Houston, OKC, Denver, perhaps LAC are far ahead in terms of probability of contending.

  3. Steph’s defense significantly hampers the team imo. People say the team is small and he’s a huge reason for it. He’s forced to guard bigger wings because he can’t guard any guards in the league and that makes the warriors tiny

  4. Steph could do it except for one fatal problem. The Warriors simply cannot build any momentum and consistency because Draymond Green, who Kerr forces everyone to go through, has a fragile ego and is emotionally unstable. Even if the Warriors do relatively well in the regular season, the pressure of the post-season has proven year after year to be more than Draymond can handle at this point, even with the stabilizing influence of Jimmy Butler. Steph's greatness cannot overcome Draymond's sabotage, especially when combined with Steve Kerr's running lineups and rotations that are designed to make Draymond emotionally comfortable in an attempt to prevent meltdowns. It won't work no matter who Steph is surrounded with while Draymond remains a starter. Zero chance. Everyone knows this. It's not even seriously debatable at this point. Warriors media (and Klutch Sports trolls) will continue to point to Draymond's defensive ability, which is elite. Unfortunately, pretending the emotional instability doesn't completely destroy the Warriors ability to contend at this point is copium that is less and less plausible every year. Can't really blame media though that depends on fan engagement to earn a living. What are they supposed to do? Ultimately, it's Joe Lacob's team and he's missing something in his pants that nobody can magically give to him. What man of honor and conviction allows another man to destroy morale on his team year after year without doing anything about it? Wanting to win is good. Money certainly helps. But neither equals leadership strength. Any given game with Steph Curry on the team? Yes. Contending with Draymond on the team? Don't make me laugh.

  5. Steph can 100% carry a team to another ring but the pieces around him need to do their part and be consistent and i feel the lack of size on this team will continue to be a big problem. An im going to be bias as well, Steph defo top 5. If Steph had that OKC team around him he could do what SGA done last year
