Today we are testing Adidas vers Nike NBA players signature basketball shoes and we are starting off with the Kobes. Guys, Kobe was a part of team Adidas at first and then finished his career with team Nike. We got the Kobe round. Zach is wearing the Nikes. Sey with the Adidas. First round is a one v one. Oh, I’m not jumping. How this video works is there are two challenges per shoe. You can earn a point each challenge. Let’s see who earns the first point. Cy with the step back clang. Oh, Cy is already getting hurt in the Adidas Kobe. That might be why he moved over to Nike. Oh yeah, you stuck. These guys have been training together and they can’t seem to make a shot. There it is. Cy with two points. Ow, he’s hurt. Zach is also somehow hurting the in the Nikes. Is that game? That is game. Yes. Oh my god. With one point, but there’s still another point to be given in the coach. Oh my god. Hold on. Yeah. What’s going on with you know the ankle ball? Yeah. It was like rubbing. It was rubbing against it. It was like burning. You were getting shaved. Oh god. There’s still another point to be given in the Kobe round. We are doing the traction test. So we’re going to be testing the grip and the stopping power of the shoe. See why? Oh, these add a good squeak to it. They do sound nice. Probably bleeding in them. But yeah. Oh yeah, these don’t move. No movement. The the grip not bad. They did pretty well. Oh, wow. Also sticky. Did that hurt you a little bit? Nah. Oh, that felt good. I’d say y’all are top two and grippiest people I know. Yeah, that was grippy for real. I will not adapt that. These are two certified hoopers in the league and only right we do a dunk contest. One round of dunks only. We got Zach up first in the Adidas. That’s crazy. Yeah, that was sick. Now we got Cy in the Nikes. Oh god. Se is smiling hard at this rim. He’s got something up his sleeve. Whoa, dude. Ow. Injury points. I’ll give you some injury. Yeah. No, no, no. You’re late. It know it does. I’m going to be giving you a 9.5 back with a score of a 9.57. Yes. Oh my god. Ah, which means Zach is getting the point for the Anthony Edwards and team Adidas. It is two to one right now. But there’s still one more challenge this round. And for the shoe challenge, we are doing the sticky note challenge. They are going to be putting sticky notes up on the backboard as high as they can reach with shoes on and then with shoes off to see if the shoes actually help with the bounce ability. All right, Zach, let them rip. Nice. All right. Cy in the Nikes John edition. Nice. Pretty even. Zach might have a his good angle placement of that sticky note like that. I don’t really see why. I don’t know. Now we are testing the sticky notes without the shoes to see if they really made a difference. It’s kind of skewed cuz everybody knows black kids are more athletic with no shoes on. I think I actually am going to get better. Oh my god. I felt it. I felt it, bro. All right. Well, Zach did better without the Anthony Edwards on. Wow, they both did better without the shoes on, which means honestly neither shoe is getting a point. That was crazy. I honestly was not expecting that. How do you guys feel about your shoes, though? These are actually awesome. They’re brand new. They’re not broken in at all, and they were actually pretty comfortable. I now realize why people love these shoes. They’re a little heavy, but I mean, Aunt doesn’t care about that. Like, you know what I mean? But I think they’re pretty stable, though. for the underdogs who have the dog in them. John Mar just writing random shoes. And then look look around the Nike swoosh. It says 12 12 12. Yeah, I would say both shoes are aesthetically very Dude, I love how these look. Yeah, those are sick. These look And it’s pretty simple. Comfortability. Yeah, I like low top shoes. When I saw these, I was like, “Oh, no. I’m not going to get them.” Now I probably will. These are way better than the ones. Like, yeah, for sure. She locked in on number two. So, Zach, what do you rate the Adidas Anthony Edwards? Bro, I’m not going to lie, I would have to play like actually play in them, but as of right now, that’s probably like 9.25. Nice. That is a great score. See why? What do you rate your Nike? Probably going to give mine a nine. Okay, those are pretty nice. That’s some high scores for the shoes. Let’s move on to the next round. The next shoes we got in the Nike Kyrie Irving. These are the OGs. And we got Zach in the Adidas Donovan Mitchells. Okay, you stepping through. The challenge in these shoes is a layup free throw in three. In 3 2 1 go. Hey. Oh, Zack with a nice floater. Okay, neither of them missed their layups. That is a good sign. Zack with a fadeaway free throw. I love that. These guys are shooting. Okay. Oh, on CY. Okay. Cy might have made it. He missed it, too. He emoted prematurely. Zack with the three. It doesn’t fall. Neither see. There’s still a chance here for Donovan. And Zach has gotten it. Adidas earning another point. There is still one more challenge to earn a point. That is dribble knockout. If your ball leaves the semicircle, you’re out in 3 2 1 go. Okay. Shoes on. What a play. Got his big ass clown shoe. Yeah. And so guys, for the Donovan Mitchells, we could only get a size 13 and 12. Zach wears a size 12. He’s got a little extra toe space there, which I think helped him win that dribble knockout. So see why. What’s crazy about your Kyrie’s, those are not a shoe anymore. Kyrie has been kicked off of Nike. Those are a holy grail. Yeah, he left. I thought he got kicked. It was a mutual department. But Kyrie is now actually making his own shoes with a different company. These look like Air Forces. Yeah, those do not look like hooping shoes. Those look mad comfortable. They are so comfortable. James Harden, if you know, you know. Boost all the way around. It’s reinforced here on the volume ones because he stepped back so hard. He never wanted his his foot going through. You got to respect that. Well, for this challenge, we’re going to really be testing the shoe. We are doing the four corner challenge. So, you really get a feel how the shoe feels, how it works. How do you feel about the Devon Bookers? They’re just slippery. Like, they’re comfortable. They have some squeak, but I don’t know. When I did a that Yeah, that looks that’s Yeah. Too like I’m like those might be like genuinely outdoor basketball. They look nice though. Like on feet. You don’t really need grip outside. What do you rate them out of 10? Cuz of the slip. Like a 5.7. Okay. And Zach, what do you rate the James Hardens? Little outdated. They look good on feet though. Still they look great. Oh, I didn’t even see the chrome. Oh, yeah. Chrome down here. Next up, we have Cy in the Nike Kevin Durant and Zach in the Adidas, Damen Lillards. And this challenge is the blind shooting challenge. Zach, we will be having you go first. So Cy, get on out of here. Zach, you have two shots. Whoever makes Cy can’t see. CC the bottom of the D blue. CC. Whoever can shoot the ball and make it from the furthest is getting a point. So, shave my belly with a rusty razor. I would get some razor rash for real. Yeah. I’m going to shoot from this dookie spot. I got tripped. Back rim and one. We’ll give him the same ball. Do this line right here. And then front rim. Woo. All right. Which means cy now has a chance to make a shot. You have two shots. Cy. Shoot from wherever you think. Why is he there? He already hit a shot. So, yeah, but like look at him. Believe he cannot see. Okay, we’ll go Logo first. Oh, okay. The shot. Screw it. Oh, I was going to say he has some thinking to do. He’s going for another shot. For the tiebreaker, both of you guys will have your eyes closed and you will walk as far as you want to make your shot. So, it is all tied up four to four. One more challenge in the Katies and Danes. And for this challenge, we are doing the durability test. So, y’all are just going to be gripping and grabbing your shoes. This one might already be losing the durability test. The soul looks like it’s trying to fall off. It got gripped. It looks like it’s trying to wa back. Oh my god. I just feel like these are almost falling. Yeah. Look at this. These Oh Jesus. Kevin Durant shoes are known to the soul’s like trying to leave every time you hoop in them. Like his hairline. Kevin Durant. I love his shoes, but they’re just not meant to be hooped in. They’re meant to just sit in your locker room, sit in your bedroom. See why? I’m sorry. KDs are not getting the point. I’m not going to lie. I don’t even like KD’s. Yeah, Damen Lillards are for sure getting the durability. Victory Royale. How do you guys feel about the shoes? Honestly, Chub, they’re barely higher than the What did I get? A Coby’s a foe.
