Cole Anthony carrying on the family legacy in Milwaukee🔥!#NBA#lebron#bronny#basketball
Anthony just announced that he’ll be wearing the number 50 in Milwaukee just like his dad, Greg Anthony. This got me thinking of some other father and sons who played for the same franchise. Gary Payton and Gary Payton II both played for the Bucks and the Lakers. Fun fact, Gary Payton II was the last player to wear number 23 before LeBron James came. Speaking of which, LeBron and Bronny James are both playing for the Lakers right now. Tim Hardaway was teammates with Durk in 2001, and 18 years later, it was Tim Hardaway Jr. who was teaming up with Durk in Dallas. Larry Nance, Larry Nance Jr., and Pete Nance all played for the Cavs at one point. Both Doc and Austin Rivers wore the number 25 with the Clippers. They both played in New York and Doc coached Austin in LA. Frank Cornett and Luke Cornett both played for the Milwaukee Bucks. One of Frank’s teammates was Tito Horford. That’s Al Horford’s dad. And little did they know that their sons would team up in the future and win an NBA championship together. John Lucas II and John Lucas III were both members of the Houston Rockets. Seth Curry and Dell Curry both were the number 30 in Charlotte. And perhaps the craziest of them all, Gary Trent, Senior and Junior, got traded from Portland to Toronto, 41 games into their third
