LeBron James To The Knicks Reports CONTINUE HEATING UP… | Knicks News
This is insanity. LeBron James to the Knicks reports continue heating up. But here’s the thing. Leon Rose is a genius. And the Knicks confirmed the only way LeBron James would ever be added to this team. We’re going to break down all of these latest reports today. If you’re enjoying the content, please hit that subscribe button and have notifications turned on so you don’t miss any new content. And now, let’s get started. LeBron to New York reports continue heating up. We are talking about the Knicks landing a superstar. And for the first time, I’m not talking about Giannis attent. I cannot believe the amount of reports that have LeBron joining the Knicks. But would the Knicks actually go after LeBron James? According to the latest reports, New York would. However, and here’s where Leon Rose’s genius comes into play, New York would only add LeBron James to this team under one specific circumstance. Shout out to Sports Illustrated and Clutch Points contributor Anthony Irwin for giving us this following information. According to them, the Knicks are reportedly on the radar for LeBron James. Should he leave the Lakers? Here’s the exact quote from Anthony Irwin. If LeBron James is looking to be bought out, it would be in his best interest to put that request in before the season starts as teams like the Cleveland Cavaliers and the New York Knicks can still add a buyout player once they’re available. Once the season starts, teams above the first apron would no longer be able to do so. So, that would include the Knicks. They continue here by stating, “According to ESPN’s reporting, upwards of four teams have contacted Clutch Sports, James Representation about trading for the superstar. But again, there has been very little talk between teams and the Lakers on that front. Most teams, according to league sources, are waiting to see if James is bought out before next season. And this next part helps you understand the only circumstance, the only way the Knicks will add LeBron to this team. According to Sports Illustrated, sources say the Cleveland Cavaliers, Dallas Mavericks, and New York Knicks are among the teams waiting for such an end to the James Lakers relationship. Essentially saying that the Knicks are waiting for LeBron James to be bought out before next season because that is the only way they would add LeBron to this team. They will not, I repeat, they will not trade for LeBron James. So, this report helped to clarify one thing that we already knew, but it helps solidify that point even further. The Knicks will only trade for one superstar, and that’s Giannis Attento. When it comes to LeBron James, the Knicks have no problem adding him if he’s bought out and he’s available in free agency. That is the only way the Knicks will add LeBron James to this team. And honestly, that is the way to move. Thank you to Leon Rose for helping to clarify this entire situation. Of course, he would want LeBron James. Of course, he would want to add a player like LeBron to this Knicks team, especially when our goal is to win a championship, but he doesn’t want to trade for LeBron James. He only wants to add him in free agency. And at this stage in LeBron James career, that is the right move to make. And that’s why Leon Rose is an absolute genius. The only trade target for the Knicks right now is Giannis attent. Everybody else that they want to add is potentially in free agency and Leon Rose and this Knicks front office, let it be known, of course, they are interested in adding LeBron James, but only if he’s a free agent. They do not want to trade for LeBron. And of course, they don’t want to do that. That’s speaking more to Leon Rose’s brilliance. He is building this team out for next season in the best way possible. The Knicks are one of the biggest winners in free agency. Jordan Clarkson, Gerson Yabaselli, and they still have a roster spot available to add another veteran. And all the reports are indicating they’re looking for a veteran guard. So, the Knicks are holding their assets if and when Giannis becomes available. But if he doesn’t become available, they still have a legit contending roster going into next season that can take them all the way to the NBA finals under new head coach Mike Brown. It’s as if Leon Rose planned all of it as we’re watching it unfold right now. Have enough assets available if and when the player that you want to trade for becomes available. And if not, still build out a contender that can help you get what you want. This is what Leon Rose has been doing, has been building since taking over the Knicks as president of basketball operations. And in free agency, he has hit home run after home run. And right now, New York is looking to add a veteran guard in free agency with that vet minimum contract. But they’ve waited a while. And because they’ve waited, a number of names have gone off the board. Names that they were waiting for. One of the main names being Marcus Smart. And now all the reports are indicating that Ben Simmons, Malcolm Brogman, and Landry Shamut are the top three names the Knicks are looking at to give that final vet minimum contract to. And out of those three names, the one that I would want the Knicks to go after the most is either Landry Shamut or Malcolm Brogden. But the name that’s not there and won’t be listed there because he really hasn’t made a decision yet on his future with his franchise, that’s LeBron James. I don’t expect him to hit free agency and the Knicks to add him at the vet minimum contract. I just don’t think that’s going to be in his future. He sees the moves the Lakers are making right now. And maybe even though they’re doing some things without talking to him or asking him or speaking with him about it first, it does seem like the Lakers are trying to put together a championship contender. And I think LeBron James is going to want to stay there and be with that contender. Now, I know in the NBA, anything can happen. And if that does happen and LeBron James does get bought out, hits free agency, the Knicks along with a long list of other teams will be talking to Rich Paul trying to get LeBron James on their team, including the Knicks. But again, that is the only way, the only circumstance where the Knicks would add LeBron to this team. Other than that, they’re not looking at LeBron. They’re not wishing for LeBron. They’re not even hoping for LeBron. They’re committed to working on this roster, building it out, and trying to make it better than it was last season. Trying to make it even more of a contender than it was last year. And that is the right way to move. And the reason that we’re moving in this way, moving in this direction is because of Leon Rose once again. Trust in Leon and good things will happen like reports like this. But what about you guys? What do you think about these reports indicating that the Knicks do have interest in LeBron James and they would add him to this team, but only if LeBron should leave the Lakers before next season. Let me know how you feel about that in the comments section below, guys, because honestly, I would love to hear from you. But that’s going to do it for this episode. I hope you enjoyed it and if you did, go ahead and smash that like button, leave a comment below, and of course, guys, please subscribe to the channel. Hell nah to old 🤡🤡
Makes no sense at all
If he wanted to come here as a free agent? Maybe…..
But coming here in a trade? Hell no! We’d have to give up too much. It wouldn’t be worth it.
If the Knicks pick upthis ha sbeen Diva im done..he needs the Knicks more than the Knicks need him….we don't need him he had his chance and ghosted the Knicks… no way. you do it if you are serious about winning.
We need another wing off the bench we already have two guards Jordan clarkson and deuce McBride. And Josh hart is an undersized foward he’s 6’4. He’s really a guard. What wing do we have off the bench yabuselly? That’s literally the only wing but he’s not a perimeter defender. We can’t just rely on Og and Mikel. We also have Tyler kolek. We have a lot of guard depth. So why look for another guard?
To All my Knick family members…we all think alike!!! Keep his sorry behind away from our garden. Dont need ya, dont like ya, dont want ya!!!! ❤😂❤😂
