Um it been a minute though, man. But yo, we got to talk about it. Yo, so so yeah, let’s talk about it. Um so the Cavaliers um was included right um as the top contenders for next season. Um as we looking at the NBA power rankings um for 2025. Um one NBA analyst still views the Cleveland Cavaliers as a top contender going forward into next season. Um, I’m going to touch on that for a little bit. So, right here it says, um, the Cleveland Cavaliers have been busy this off season, but so have many other teams around the NBA. However, Law Murray of the Athletic still views the wind and go as one of the top teams in the league. And um, shout shout out to Law Murray uh, friends of my homie BJ and Rick show. He’s on every now and then over there. I talked to him before. Good dude. I think this is saying Law Murray, but yeah, shout out to Law Murray. But um it says the analyst, it says in the latest, it says in the analyst latest power rankings, he identified the Cavaliers as the third best team in the league and placed them in his top tier, the top contenders. The other teams included in this level are the Oklahoma City Thunder, New York Knicks, Minnesota Timberwolves, and the Denver Nuggets. Murray praised the Cavaliers trade for Lonzo Ball. Knowing the guards addition should help Cleveland account for the loss of Keer Taj Jerome while giving Cleveland a player who can handle the ball, pass, shoot, and make plays defensively. Ball might be hit by ah, excuse me, ball might be needed a lot early in the season with allstar point guard Darius Garland recovering from surgery on his toe. Um, it also says with the Caval experience another premature playoff exit in the core four era, it will be easy to drop them out of the top tier until they show more postseason success. True. Um, however, Murray acknowledged the moves of Cleveland’s front office made to address what appeared to be the roster shortcomings, which should once again solidify them as true championship threat. That said, the analyst does believe Cleveland could stand to add another player or two to help protect against injury to the front court and wing. This point is incredibly fair considering Ball and Larry Nun’s injury history. The Cavaliers do still have an open roster spot with some intriguing free agents left. Cleveland still has the opportunity to fortify their theft. Um, so yeah, that was that was a lot. A little bit, but a lot. So, no surprise, right? The Cavs considered top contenders. Um, he got the Cavs ranked as the third best team in the entire league, you know, top three, not just in the East, but the East and West. So, um, that’s not really a surprise, man. um at least not to me I guess but that’s that’s that’s big despite like what happened in the playoffs as he mentioned the shortcomings I guess like you can’t really deny like what they was doing in the regular season and some of the moments they had in the playoffs they look pretty good right if you look past what happened with that pace right they look pretty good so I have no problem with u what was said right in this article I don’t have a problem with the Cavs being at the top. The Cavs, they still kept their core together for, you know, another season or two, however long this thing, you know, rides out. They got their core and they added two good pieces um to the bench. Talking about Lonzo Ball, right, and Larry N Jr. Um and then you have the fact in another leap for Mobly who’s I heard been working out with Kevin Garnett, I heard, right? Um, so that’s big, you know. Shout out to Evan Moley. He look like he got um, you know, he look like he’s growing, right? Um, I think this the year he takes off, you know, being more involved in the offense like Kenny Addison already been working on maybe MVP voting this year. Maybe like I’m not saying like top five or anything, but somewhere in that MVP vote. I could see Moy having that type of season. Um, so yeah, shout out to Moy. waiting for that, right? But like I know like I know like the Cavs should be considered like at the top. The East don’t really look crazy. There are teams there are probably some sleepers in the East, but the East is open man. But law he also said that um from this report you got the Thunder, the Knicks, the Timberwolves, and the Nuggets. They also in this tier with the Cavs. Um, all them teams, they uh made some interesting moves. Knicks made some moves. They got Jordan Clarkson, uh, Yabelli and some guys. Timber Wolves, uh, you know, they all right. They still got my guy Ant, man. Nuggets, they added uh Cam Johnson. I think that’s going to be huge for they replace Cam Johnson for MPJ. I think Cam Johnson will give the Nuggets a lot more than MPJ because he do play um, basically able to get both sides, you know, the ball. Um, I like Cam Johnson. That’s a good pickup for the Nuggets. And they added they bench. They got their bench back. They got Bruce Brown, all them guys. They, uh, yeah, the Thunder is the defending champ. So, we already know what the Thunder are, right? Um, but I don’t know about the Timberwolves. I don’t know. Um, I think Nuggets and Thunder is valid. The Timberwolves, I’m I’m unsure about. I know they still lock they locked their guys back in. Uh, they got, you know, they locked their guys into a contract. I like the Rockets, though. I like them adding KD. Um, on paper, everything look looking good. Um, don’t know if they going to be championship contenders, but adding KD changes things. Um, and Clippers adding Bill and Collins. That’s something else to look at, right? Um, and they added Brook Lopez and Chris Paul, but the Thunder and Nuggets, I think, is valid. I think that’s a valid uh valid team right there, right? Um, but that’s my point though, like what was said about, you know, he said what I already been saying, you know, in this article. I’ve been saying like when the Cavs made these moves, right, for Alonzo and Larry Nance, like I feel like I feel like I’m the only one who been thinking about it. Like, yes, the Cavs made good moves adding Lonzo Ball and Larry Nance Jr., But basketball is more than just adding pieces, right? They have to play the game, man. And as much as the, you know, regular season don’t matter to some of y’all, you know, you still have to play the regular season games, right? It it really don’t matter to, you know, the people who say, “Oh, regular season don’t matter.” I I get it. But you have to play those games. You know what I’m saying? You have to get to the playoffs. You had to win no games to get to the playoffs, to get the home court. You had to play them games for the playoff season and more stuff, you know. And I I keep on adding like the Taj thing. Like I really think Todd Jerome, I know I got to move past Todd Jerome, but Todd Jerome was like one of the reasons why I feel like the Cavs are able to win some of those games in the regular season. Getting the Cavs that number one spot, right? Win them 60 plus games. Like I bring that up because availability is the best ability. You know what I’m saying? And I’m not saying that these guys, you know, I’m not wanting them to be hurt. I’m just speaking about the availability part. I think um as long as them guys healthy, we should be good, right? And I’m I’m not I’m not hoping they get hurt. Nobody wants that. But we just can’t ignore like the injury history of these guys. Like it don’t exist, right? Like I don’t want to do that. But to my other point, that’s why, you know, I think the Cavs, and he said in the article, the Cavs should look to add more to the front court wing look to add another rotation piece, you know, as insurance. You know, we have, I believe, two open roster spots. I don’t know what we doing with that, but we have two open roster spots left. And I believe the C should be looking at, you know, some of these guys, man. We have two spots left. I know I heard the Kevin Love thing, the LeBron James thing, I think we could kind of dead it. You know what I’m saying? Like it is what it is with that. But um there’s some guys on this list, man. Um that you can probably, you know, take a swing at, man. Now, me personally, I have guys in mind I already said like Coffee from the Clippers. I think he’s still out there. Um you have um uh Joseph, he likes Trey L. That’s a guy you add to your front court. U Malcolm Brogden. I mean I don’t think I want any more guards but I mean would you add another guard like in case Lonzo ball you know depending on his situation um as insurance I don’t know that Malcolm brother would take less but um he’s still out there on the market and you got Chris um from the Raptors. He’s all right. You know that’s front court that Al Hawford still haven’t signed with a team. I thought he was going to the Warriors, but it’s thing like he’s still weighing his options out. So, you have Al Hawer out there as a, you know, me personally, I would go for a big or another wing type guy with size. Like, I would go for coffee. I would go for old Alford just for, you know, more insurance, right? Like guys that you probably could utilize if you need to throw them out there, right? Um, Russell Westbrook. Nah, we good off that. Um, yeah, it’s it’s guys out there. I’m just looking. Um, yeah, know the TS Gibson. Trist is still out there, y’all. You got Double T, man. You got You got some guys out there, man. You got Cher still out there, man. Uh, James Johnson and Forester. Maybe the Cavs should take a swing at him, man. Let me look at these comments. My bad. Y I’m just looking at the thing. Um he said, “I got this comment the Cavs coach.” I got this comment the Cavs coach made. You got this comment the Cavs coach made. Who Who’s the Cavs coach you talking about? Joseph, excuse me. You said Allan Scary in the wait room. Yeah. Wley going um Wy going to go uh crazy on Allan, man. Hey, Allan about to come back better and stronger, man. He said that Timber Wolves have low IQ. You know, Sporting Page, y’all do the sporting page, man. And make sure y tap in with the sporting page. He said the Timber Wolves have low IQ. Yeah. Yeah, man. I mean, they IQ not the highest. Um not the highest. He said the Rockets are going to miss Dylan Brooks in big moments. Yeah. Dylan Brooks. Yeah. D Brook, I think um he he’s he’s not that bad. Um I know people some people hate Dylan Brooks, but yeah, Dylan Brooks, he all right, man. Lonzo better be on point this year. Yeah, I think he will be, bro. I think um he’s coming into a good situation that fits him. Uh, I think we play how he want to play. Uh, especially pushing the pace, pushing the transition. So, I think I think so, man. Um, Sporting Pace said, um, Donovan needs to be like Kobe and Mike. When certain guys aren’t serious, he need to smack them inside the head. Yeah, he um Yeah, especi especially Jay Allen, right? Um I know I was speaking to um I was speaking to uh Andre uh DJ about this uh about Allan like bringing that dog out of Allen like you know you know Kobe did with Palaw. But yeah, I think yeah, Donovan, I mean he’s the leader of this team. So yeah. Um, I hear you, man. Uh, shout out to Cottage. What’s What’s good, Cottage? Shout out to Cottage said Lonzo Ball got more tattoos than he said Lonzo Ball got more tattoos than games played. That is crazy, man. That’s insane. That’s yo sport page. Yo, you you be having the the you know the the the good comments. You be funny with it. Oh man, that’s crazy to think about. Wow, that’s crazy. He said, “Wow, that free agent list is basically the bottom of the of the tragedy. They just sign Russell Westbrook and bring him up the bench at I don’t know, man.” Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I’m good off Russell Westbrook. You know, we got Lonzo. I’m good off Russ. I mean, I don’t know about Russ, man. I mean, good player, man. We know how Russ is, man. You got to take the good and the bad with Russ. Russ is still out there, though. That’s, you know, I’m I’m curious to see what team he do go to. That’s um interesting. Um I don’t know. Yeah, Russ is still out there. But the list, yeah, the fency list, you know, most of the guys that was leaving, you know, they already on their teams, man. They they went, got their money. A lot of these guys got paid. So yeah, this is just the leftovers of what’s left, but it’s some it’s still some names on there. Um, Sporting Page that’s, you know, it’s still some names on there that I that I would, you know, take a swing at. He said, “I 100% could see Cleveland going to the finals, Tom.” Um, yeah, I could see them going to the finals. Um, now them winning it, that’s another story, bro. But, uh, as far as like making a a run, yeah, I could see them making a run. Sure. Um, Joseph said, “I got someone for you.” Um, free agency you talking about. He said Al Hoff moves like molasses, but he got more skill and one piggy. Yo. Oh man. Swear P’s crazy. uh to his entire body. Man, I’m not going to lie though, man. That old man, he was like, “Yo, sporting page, that old man was locking up Dar to the playoffs.” I’m not gonna lie, man. Hey, I’m not gonna lie, man. You said trade. All right. Said trade. You said, “Do y’all 100% believe J Allen’s overrated?” Nah, Jer not overrated, bro. Nah, I don’t think he overrated. Um, nah, I don’t think he overrated, bro. Not at all. Underrated to me, in my opinion. Um, in my opinion, though. You said, “Drop the link. I’ll share it real quick.” All right. Give me um um All right, give me give me give me give me give me give me like three minutes. Let me finish my um my thoughts on this. I got you. Um, yeah, let me finish my thoughts on this. But it’s a it’s a few guys that’s on that list Cass could pick up. Some guys I already mentioned in the past. Um, but look, if Lonzo Ball is going to stay healthy, I think he’s a game changer. I believe it. Um, he solves the Cavs problems, perimeter defense, playmaker, can space the floor now. Um, you just have to manage him correctly. That’s all. Larry Naz Jr. Another guy, you know, he helps. He definitely helps. Um, these are the guys who like who’s helping out in your front court like the depth, right? Just have to stay healthy enough to get to the postseason, but I still believe they need to make another move. And I think they will, man. Um, but let me uh let me let me drop this link real quick. Um, yeah. Yeah. Gerald ain’t um nah, he ain’t overrated, bro. Yeah, definitely not. Um, don’t let DFJ or anybody lie to you, man. I know DFJ will probably say differently, but don’t let them lie to you. Um, Cottage, um, let me drop this link real quick for Joseph. See what he’s talking about. Um, let me see something. All right. Link, the link is in the uh, it’s in the chat. Um, it’s in the chat. But yeah, y’all not overrated, bro. All right, we got Joseph in the building, y’all. Man, let me add Joseph to the platform, man. Joseph came quick, man. Joseph Joseph be moving like Flash. Quick silver. Uh yeah, if y’all into the comics. But um yeah, welcome to the show. Uh, Joseph, man, let me ask Jeez. What’s good, brother? How you doing? What’s going on, man? How you doing, man? I’m I’m doing fine. I’m doing fine. Good. Good. Today’s my sister’s birthday. Happy birthday to her. And Oh, happy birthday. Happy birthday to Yeah. So, uh, well, yeah, man. I was It’s good to see you back up here. I feel like you been out for a minute, man. There’s been haven’t been a lot of news anyways. So, no. Yeah, it been slow. But, you know, sometimes you just got to take a break. Yeah. No, I feel you. But, uh, I took a week off last week because there wasn’t stuff going on. Like, I got training camp coming up. I might as well just not do anything. Let Mike take the reigns for a little bit. But, uh, sometime you got to take a break, man. Yeah. No, I feel it. Especially when football season starts. It’s non-stop. So, um, but we like it though. It’s fun. So, but uh I don’t know if you saw the report. It’s I got it right here. Here it says Dean Wade is on the trading block and they’ve been getting calls from what was the teams here? The Dallas Mavericks, Charlotte Hornets, and Washington Wizards with the two teams. Uh or three teams, excuse me, that are calling about Dean Wade. Um I don’t see what the Mavericks have that they could give us because I don’t know what the Mavericks really want to I mean, look at their roster. I don’t know uh who they would trade to give us or to acquire Dean Wade, but they’re not giving up PJ Washington, then I don’t want it. Yeah, I don’t know if it’s PJ Washington. I I don’t know if they’re giving up Daniel Gaffer. They can get more for him in a better trade. So, yeah, that that would make sense. Daniel not Gaffford, not Washington. Caleb Martin, I’m good. Yeah. Just looking at the roster here. Kai Jones. Um uh the the only guy I consider is Max Christie. That’s an interesting name. I like that one cuz he’s bigger. Give him up. That’s an interesting name. Yeah. Uh I don’t know. I mean it seems like they for some reason I don’t know why they’re interested in Dean Wade because they got PJ Washington. I mean unless they’re I’m telling you Joseph Dean Wade is better than what you think he is, man. I’m trying to tell you. No, he’s not this defensive. I’m telling you, man. Look, it’s not a coincidence. I’m tell I’m trying to tell you, man. He’s a here. He He provides you size and shooting. That’s it. But I don’t know all this defense stuff. I He’s a terrible perimeter defender. He can play he can hold his own in the block, but he’s he’s an okay player. I’m not saying he’s terrible, but I I just don’t think uh you know, he’s what everybody else thinks he is. I I would trade him. I would try to I think we need more defense. We need somebody that can actually um guard the perimeter and switch out because as much as we switch you we got we got enough scoring already. We got well we have enough shooting. We don’t really need Dean Wade like that especially when we brought in Nance back and you can still bring in a Trey L. Yeah, you know I I think you can move him. You need more wings. They need more help on the perimeter defensively. Um that’s why I mean Max Christie provides shooting and he’s not a terrible defender. I mean I think he’s young. he can grow him into a good team defender. Uh, I like him. And I looked at the Wizards. They got a couple guys cuz they kind of a log jam with some of their age. And they just they just acquired Cam Whitmore, which I kind of wish we would have looked at him. Yeah, they got they got him for two second round picks. That’s it. So, but they also, if you look at their roster, they got hold on one second. So, they got Cam Whitmore and they have first Middleton still and they have the one what’s uh Justin Champagne. I can’t pronounce his name. Uh you might know him just Champagne. Yeah, he’s like a he’s like a forward or something like that. 66 206 averaged eight points, five rebounds last year. Yeah, one of them guys that don’t really play. Yeah. Shot 38% from the field from three. So, that’s could be a name. maybe swap Dean Wade for a better defender on the perimeter. I mean, I don’t know. I don’t think they would. I mean, they just acquired Cam Whitmore. I don’t know if they trade him again. I don’t think so. I don’t think so. I wish they would. I think I think he going to fit right where he at and get a cuz it’s all about opportunities for him. That’s all the reason why he So, I’m looking at this other this Justin Champagne, whatever his name is guy or they got Cory Kispird as well. I don’t know if they move off him already, but uh those are a couple guys I’m looking at cuz I mean I I could totally see them being interested because looking at their front court, they don’t really have a stretch big out. I mean, they got SAR starts obviously they took, but I don’t really see anybody. Marvin Baggley is not it. So, uh I could see looking for a little more spacing off the bench and they don’t have it. So they may try to move off one of them uh one of those younger wings they got. I mean Champagne guy is only 24 years old. Uh I’d be interested that 66206. I know he’s defensively. That’s really all I care about is defensively. Yeah. I need I need my guy to Yeah. defensively but I need to play other side also. I need him to make up for uh Dean Wade because the whole point about Dean Wade is I know uh his defense ain’t ain’t crazy to you but at least he could shoot the ball but his offense thing about Dway he’s inconsistent. He’s inconsistent. You want to say inconsistent on defense, he’s inconsistent on offense. You could just say that. Yeah, that’s that’s the whole thing. He’s just inconsistent. I think we need we’re in a position we need more reliability defensively. We can score points. Scoring points is not an issue for this team. And Dean Weey wasn’t a huge X factor to me in scoring points last year. Uh he helped out. He made some threes at times, but he wasn’t one of our, you know what I mean? Like he’s not Max Stru is more important offensively to Dean Wade any day. So I we need some more defense because we our whole thing is we need to get more stops. We don’t get stops. We can score all the points we can, but our guys are going to get gassed out like they did against Indiana and Donald’s gonna have to play hero ball at times and that’s not that’s a higher injury and that’s what we don’t need. So, we need to get more stops. We need more guys that can actually switch because as much as we switch, especially with our smaller back court, we got to have guys that can actually stand their ground and defend. And I feel like that’s why they really targeted Lonzo because not only the price, but he’s 66, a bigger guard. He can really push the pace, too. He kind of was what they needed against Indiana because he does kind of what Indiana was doing to us. You he can kind of counter it in a way. Um and we just need we still need more permanent defense. I think you know Larry Nance is an upgrade defensively. You know he’s older but he’s still a better defender than Dean Wade. Um just a little more athletic and experience I think than bigger I might disagree with that but I’m going let you have it Joseph. I think I’m a Dean Way I I’m part of Dean Way uh fan club man. Even though I think I I I think he’s a better defender than D Wayade. I’ve seen him I’ve seen Larry Nance switch out Borne and actually be able to hold his ground more than Dwade. I never D Wayade they target him. He could tell he’s definitely the top of the scouter report when he when he checks in the game. They’re like we’re switching cuz they they’re going to switch everything. We’re picking rolling his ass or picking his ass and we’re going to switch it. All right. I’m just making sure you ain’t being you know you know high bias man. I’m just making sure. Jo. Well, no. I mean Larry’s more athletic. He’s longer and I’ve seen Larry be able to swing. He’s not at the ground. I’ve seen Larry’s some old wall world defender, but he can hold his ground more on the perimeter than because he’s just more athletic than Dean Wade and he’s more experienced. I’m just playing with you, man. I just from your neighborhood. I’m just playing with you, man. Well, I thought you were serious. I know you love you, man. You are the No, no, I do like club. No, I do like Dean Wade. No, I like him, too. No, he’s But but look, look what you look what you saying about Dean Wade. I was saying that like two like I was I used to hate Dean Wade but then as I really sat down and actually like try to like watch the game like you know what Dean Way is actually better than what I thought he was instead of me bashing him like I actually looked at him he was actually you know he had a lot of good moments like I think his story is admirable. Yeah. Yeah. Definitely. It really is like I I I mean I don’t I have kind of like a admiration towards the athletes because I see him you know I’m around him a lot and I just I know what it takes to get like I see what he’s got how much they go through to get there. His story is incredible. The fact that how he made the team was incredible in itself. Like the hats off to Dwayne for making an NBA roster. Like the dude worked his ass off. It’s a hell of a story and it’s really something that you should tell a lot of your teams and youth. You know what I mean? Like hey, be like this guy because you not not everybody’s LeBron. You got to work like a Dean Wade to make it far. You know what I mean? So it’s only a 2% chance of making it to the NBA to begin with. So uh but I just when you look at our team, you know, you’re in the NBA now. This is they’re all professionals. So, how do we get the better ones? You I mean the what we need to fit our team and I just think again I think Larry helps you more defensively, but I think I don’t really need Dean Wade right now. I don’t I mean I don’t know where he’s at in this rotation right now. I feel like we already have shooting. We can bring in more shooting. You got air coffee out there. He was a 40% clip. I don’t know why nobody’s signing him. That’s crazy. There must be something. That that’d be somebody I would probably I’m surprised he’s not signed cuz I’m like he’s he’s 67 and he could shoot the three. Played okay with the Clippers. Like you would think a team would pick him up. I don’t know if he’s got some injury concern teams know about or I don’t know. They lose utilizing them right. Yeah. Maybe that’s who told you. He told you cuz you know. Yeah. Yeah. So maybe he just needs uh because the Clippers, they’re bringing in everybody that’s pass Benz or I mean I think I mean I think they’re okay, but they’re definitely going all in to win this year because they don’t they don’t win this year. Looks like they might blow it up the way they’re operating. So uh no excuses. Yeah. So I don’t know. I mean I think you just I think we need more perimeter defense. That’s all we need, you know. Uh especially when you trade I mean Isaac wasn’t the greatest perimeter defender. He wasn’t terrible. He was pretty good at times. Um, but you traded him away. So, and you brought in a better point guard or a better point guard with perime better perimeter defense from a point guard. Excuse me. Better player. We just we just play. So, but you still need another wing defender. Yeah. You didn’t replace that. So, right, that’s what they need to fill the slot in because I I mean I I just find it odd to I don’t know why they’re waiting to fill these two slots, but I read this report what I was saying about the coach’s comments uh about your guy. I if you’re the fan club of anybody and I and rightfully so because this guy this this is another like guy who what a hell of a story uh right there. I gotta give you credit on this one. Let me see. He is playing well. Oh let me um sorry I got you for you. There you go. Okay. I didn’t put up because I knew you you’d love this. Um is this one? Wait, no. Wrong one. That’s LeBron, I think. Yeah, we don’t need we don’t we’ll talk about him later. But, uh, that’s a that’s a fiasco. Hold on. I’m sorry. I clicked on the wrong one. It’s the same tab. Uh, oh, right here. Here we go. All right. Hey, sport page, man. Leave the weight alone, man. He’s an athlete. Here we go. Right here. So, this is from Chris Fedor. Let me know when it’s up there. Oh, it’s up there. All right. So he said um you can see right there he talked to Omar Cook the summer league head coach and he said that Naquin Quinn follows uh a little bit too much and they’ve been working on that uh not being has handsy him and him initiating offensive times and used him like Evan Mobley that was the role they looked at in Vegas when they took uh when you take what the Cavs do from a system standpoint and how they use their big guys. Omar Cook told me that it was very similar to the way the Cavs use Eban Mobley and that’s uh what they are trying to see with Naquin. So I thought that was interesting. Um because maybe that’s one of the roster spots. It’s going to be him. So really there’s only one roster spot left because the way they’re talk and I know uh Terry Pluto who’s a nice guy I met a couple weeks ago. Shout out to Terry. he uh or last week he wrote he wrote an article saying that he’s hearing that he’s going to get actually decent playing time this year. So you talking about Tomlin? Yeah. Like they’re they’re really high on him like he’s he’s going to be in the rotation they said at times. That’s what his article said from Terry Pluto. So it’s kind of look and look and then when I hear them say he’s basically the backup for Moy. It’s like whoa. So they must be really think this is their guy. You talk about stories. He has a he has a crazy story too. So, I’m I’m rolling for him. And this further tells me Dean Wade’s going to get traded because you have no use for him. If you think Naquin’s better, he’s your backup four. It sounds like Larry’s just going to be the backup five. Uh, if need be. I don’t think Larry’s going to play heavy minutes, but I think he it sounds like he’s your like rotational five right now. Naquin sounds like he’s the backup four. Um, when you’re saying where you put him in the same spots as Moy, it’s almost like that’s what they’re trying to utilize, which I hope he is like that because when Moi’s not out there, the offense doesn’t run as cleanly as it does because like they it says there that in that article, he initiates a lot of the offense at times. You know, it’s a lot of the same system Golden State ran where it’s at the pit and post, you know what I mean? It’s a lot of offball screening, dribble, handoffs with the big with Mobley when he’s not out there uh tuned that they don’t play as well offensively. They’re not as good defensively obviously, but offensively they don’t move as smoothly. I think it’s more one-on-one and they need that extra uh big guy that can do fill that role. So, I think that’s kind of like what they’re developing him in to be. And he has the athleticism to do it. He had a really good summer league. Uh I think when you would you think he was the best player in the summer league for the Cavs? I mean, I think he was one of the best, man. Um he’s definitely was consistent in my opinion, but I think he’s one of the best. He’s definitely up there. Him, Tyson, um Proctor had a one of them solid games. But Tomlin, I just felt like he was just um always in the right spots at the right time. He’s got a knack for the ball. Yeah, he just always there making sure he get the the boards and putting it back up. Just being around the right spots and he’s got size like he’s not a little guy, so I’m cool with and he showed that, you know, he can he’s capable shooting the three. He capable shooting it. They don’t need to. I mean, if he’s got a knack for the ball and he’s a good defender, that’s kind of all you need from him, right? Right. I’m not saying the name about to mention a Hall of Famer. I’m not saying he’s anywhere. I’m not putting him in the same era. But I’m saying Dennis Robin made a whole career. Oh, yeah. We know. Off just having a knack for the ball and incredible defense and incredible rebounding. It was an awesome screener. Yeah. Like he just did everything you needed out of him. That’s why he was a Hall of Famer because he did all those things correct. But I’m not saying he’s that. But I’m saying it’s those guys are valuable to have on your team. Yeah. Effort guys. I I get you. I get you. You need that. Um I like Tomlin. Tomlin definitely improve. I said it. I I feel like um he’s if he keep playing how he’s playing, I feel like he can be one of them guys, you know, to get that roster spot because yeah, Cavs usually they leave one they usually leave one open roster spot left going to the season because they usually sign one of them guys on the two-way contracts. So, I could see that. Yeah. And that’s my whole point. The reason why I brought up Robin as an example is you don’t need to be he’s in a pure example of you don’t need to be uh a big time scorer your average scoring wise to be a great player like they I think they’re viewing him based on this comment they’re viewing him as he does a lot of things that Moy kind of does uh but he’s not the scorer but he does a lot of the things to help us initiate offense and help us defensively a little more. So when I read those comments so it sounds like they think he can be a better perimeter defender too than what they’ve had off that bench too. So, I like that they’re seeing that and addressing the defense because that was their biggest issue with the perimeter defense. And I like that they’ve addressed that this off season. They’ve gotten bigger, more athletic. I think they need one more guy. Like I said, I would get Dean Wade and package him for another guy who’s just maybe more size on the Wayne, 67, whatever around there, and can hold his own defensively. That’s what we need to target. Yeah, I No, I agree. I mean, I’m not, you know, I’m not here trying to say, “Yo, don’t trade Dean Wade. I only like As long as it’s like makes sense and then you can Yeah. You don’t just trade a guy like that for no reason.” Yeah. You got to get equal value or more. Just if you can replace Dean Wade, that’s fine. I always thought Dean Way was expandable. I always thought that. It just seems like he’s the odd man out now. So, man, here you got your years out of him. But I think they know it’s it’s what we all saw. It’s he was the weak link defensively perimeter on the perimeter which is fine. I mean here he is who he is. He’s not terrible but he’s not when he goes when Hallebertton switched out auto it was like oh gosh here we go. It was like one move when he’s hit the basket. So it’s he’s just you know it’s just not his thing. So uh you got to get some better defense in there. But I thought I like that they’re addressing that because I feel like if that Cavs team could just be better on the perimeter defensively. We know how good they are defensively inside with Moy and Allen. uh they’re going to be hard to beat. I mean, you mean that was their one weakness and they the more stops they get, the more they can slow down the pace and and play more of their offense and uh get good shots and they can really control a game. That’s just their problem. They haven’t been able to like control games at times from start to finish, especially in that playoffs in the playoff series. What I’m talking about, they haven’t been able to like control games where they can, you know, I mean, it’s like from the start uh to the end, you never felt like they were going to lose the game. They haven’t really felt that with them in those series. they’ve lost. I feel like the other team was controlling the game, controlling the pace, controlling the tempo of the game. I mean, it’s like you never felt like Indiana was ever out of a game if the Cavs were up because you knew they could just turn it up with the the pace and start exploiting their weak defenders. The Cavs now they’re kind of address those things. I feel like now they should be controlling games more because Lonzo is a guy who likes to play a fast pace. You know, you put him out there with Mitchell next to him at the two. I can put him at the point, let him run the show. Right there. There you go. And Lonzo likes to push the pace. He’s a hell of a passer obviously and I can put him in pick and roll situations. He’s got a little mid-range shot he’s developed now. He can get to the basket, a little floater. He can really do some things that we haven’t had. My only concern though is the chemistry. That’s my only concern because Ty Drome, you could tell he was one of their brothers. You know what I mean? And Ty Derome was acclimated here. He was he fit right in here. Like he was a perfect fit. you could tell just the way the fans reacted to him and um you know the way he that team responded to him when he got hot and just you could tell you know I mean you could just tell. So I I think Lonzo will fit in. I think Lonzo is a likable guy. Um but I hope Lonzo comes in here with just the right attitude of like he knows his role. This is who I am. not the not the starting point guard like I’m I’m here to fill my role and just fit in and be a good teammate which I think he will but um you know but yeah like sporting page there Tyro maybe one of the brothers but he don’t step up you’re going to get Fredo. Exactly. So, but the chemistry thing I I think it’ll be fine, but I I do wonder like I hope we’re not sitting here a year from now and let’s say it didn’t work out with ball and we’re kind of like in a situation like with the Browns I would flack out a way like yeah, we should have kept him and brought him back. You know what I mean? Like that’s what I worry about. But that’s to me that’s not really a big concern. I think I think Lonzo will fit right in. Everybody likes Lonzo. Yeah, like I said before, man. Um my only thing is making sure these guys is healthy. I know they can game. It’s just my only my only concern. That’s all it is. Greer is having me uh find the email contact for their department. He’s going to hit him up and contact them. Yeah, Lonzo. He’s serious, too. Hey, he might Lonzo might need it. I mean, he’s got the qualifications still. He works with pro athletes all over the world, so they might need him. Yeah, Larry N in the area, right? Yeah. So, yeah, Larry’s in town. So, yeah, I might I might the whole cast team just sent over there. Yeah. Yeah, definitely. Definitely get Larry in there. We need get Lonzo in there immediately. Both of them at ASAP. You know, they gonna be a big part of what we trying to do this year or next season. But yeah, I mean, I like where we are right now. I think we’re I I like us coming out of the East right now. I know a lot of people are picking the Knicks and I know some people are actually kind of conspirators there think it’s going to be the Knicks versus Lakers in the finals or Clippers. It’s going to be LA versus New York, which I mean, I get it. But, uh, I know I heard a rumor though to the finals, man. They ain’t going nowhere. I heard Mike Brown, though, is not playing any of these younger guys. He’s playing all the veterans this year all year long. That’s his goal. Like, go for it. Yeah. I’m like, I don’t know. You might need some fresh legs out there eventually, Mike. But, I don’t know. So, I think they’re going to be interested. You can’t do no worse than than Tibs. I mean, you know, they play. That’s another thing. Will we fill in that spot or what? Yeah, I think Yeah, I don’t think Yeah, I don’t think we filled in the spot. I think I’m going to be honest with you. This is why you mentioned the LeBron thing earlier, how they’ve kind of shot it down and just kind of watered it down the last couple weeks. But I look around it’s like that the uh thing the report I had up there from Zack Low. You remember Zack Low from he was on ESPN. Pretty plugged in. That’s the play I’m on here. Yeah, really good reporter. Uh I got it right here. He kind of said it too in a way like this whole LeBron thing is very weird. Uh he said quote, “I’ve heard it’s kind of gotten quiet now after it was the talk of summer league. Um there doesn’t seem to be like a clean solution either way. Everyone’s saying we should expect uh expect him to be on the Lakers. That’s my expectation. But it doesn’t sound real convincing. You you read his quote there and the way they’ve went about it. Nothing sounds like there’s like an end solution yet. Like it’s it’s the weird I I I’ll be honest with you. I’ve been covering LeBron and watching him as a fan. I just watched from far and really covered him now last my whole life basically. I’ve never seen this type this is the one of the most bizarre things I’ve ever seen. Uh the way they went about it like it’s it’s weird. Um I don’t know. There’s no there really hasn’t been an insolution all this. Like you can’t go out there do all the stuff he did and then just show up to training camp and act like everything’s going to be okay. No way. He didn’t. Yeah, I know. They said that um he’s on vacation right now. So, I’m not Yeah, that’s their excuse. He’s on vac. Which I will say though, the last two times he made changes. I’m not saying this is happening. He was on vacation first and when he got off vacation was when he made his change. So, I don’t know what’s going on. The only way he gets out of there is a buyout if the Lakers buy him out. I was told he’s not getting traded. That was all that was all the le media putting out all that trade stuff. So, just you know, it’s all hype and all that. You know how it goes. So which you were saying all along too like it the all trade stuff was all [ __ ] but yeah I was getting for for that you know yeah that’s all just media hype but that he pumped out but anyways the only way he gets out of there is if the Lakers buy him out so which they’re not afraid to do that new owner is has no problem getting rid of veterans. You look at his history with the uh uh with the Dodgers running the Dodgers. He has no problem getting rid of star veterans because he don’t like paying them. He’s known for that. He does not like paying older veterans. Uh especially if they’re causing problems. So um oh man, that comment I just saw that one. Um I’m not going to speak on that, but I just say I know some things. But anyways, uh anyways, um don’t want to go down that road. Sorry. But uh that dude’s crazy. Yeah, that’s my go. Shout out P. You’re you’re the goat today, brother. Um, but no, for I mean, I don’t know, man. It’s a weird thing. And the Cavs, that’s what’s throwing me off, tune is they just haven’t filled that spot and they haven’t filled the coaching spot. So, it’s like, what are you waiting for? Like, we’re almost in August. Like, guys are be coming back in town and start working out in the facility here really soon. You want to have your everything set. Like, it’s just weird to me they’re waiting still. And it makes me wonder what the hell’s actually going. It’s like what Zack Low said here. What What’s really going on? It’s just weird. Yeah. I I I can’t make out this stuff, man. I I don’t know, man. LeBron, you know, LeBron I I do know one thing. He’s very pissed off right now. I know why he’s pissed off because I told you this privately, but he’s pissed off and I can share it here because he’s his whole goal was to play with both of his sons. He wanted Bryce drafted and he wanted to be either in Vegas if the league expanded by that point, which they haven’t. They’re not going to for at least another two years, or it was going to be in LA. he was just going to stay out there, right? He was gonna play with both of his sons and ride off in the sunset in 2026 because he’s going to play two more years. That’s his goal. And so the Lakers though, so he didn’t know that sale was going on at all. Like I was I was told he didn’t I heard from somebody he did not know that sale was going on at all. And so when that happened, like I said at the time, which is why soon as it happened, I went live that night and said there’s something might go might happen here because his leverage was Genie Bus like we pointed out many times. So that shot down that whole plan because you think that new owner’s coming in, he’s not trying to build around LeBron. He’s not trying to help LeBron. He has no relationship with LeBron. His whole agenda is Luca and everybody they brought in has been Luca picked this off season. So Deiden was Luca, same agent. Uh, Laravia Luca liked Smart Luca liked recruited him. LeBron still hasn’t reached out to Smart or Aiden. Not even a text, which is odd. Um, yeah, cuz that if that was anybody else, we know LeBron would have reached out to if he was all in. He’s always You always send a text or a DM like if Kyrie got there, he would have sent a text to Kyrie, bro. Anybody. And when he was in Cleveland, when they when they acquired people here, when they acquired J.R. Smith and Aman Shumpert and Timothy Mosgo, LeBron went up and greeted them. You know what I mean? like you he’s the it’s just because he’s not really all in. You know what I mean? He’s not all in. He doesn’t like he’s not the man anymore. He doesn’t like that. He’s not used to it and he’s having kind of a fit about it. And his whole plan blew up for now. The only way he’s going to play with both of his sons is last season if he he it’s not going to be in LA. He’s have to go somewhere else. But it doesn’t sound like either behind the scenes that he’s getting uh that Vegas team either. I’ll just leave it at that, which I already told you what’s going on privately, but he’s not that’s not like he’s getting that team either because he’s getting out either because he’s getting out bid on it. So, if he wants his whole plan that he had, it’s not happening right now in LA. So, he’s going to have to make a move. Either he’s going have to ride it out this year and wait till he’s free next summer and then it’ll just be one last harrah. Or maybe right now we don’t there’s a lot I mean here, nobody knew the latest stuff was going with Luca. Uh there was zero chatter about that and it just happened all of a sudden. So maybe that’s happening right now. It’s just quiet chatter. Maybe that’s why they watered it down to make it look like everything’s okay, but really they’re talking about, you know, a departure possibly. I don’t know. The whole thing’s weird, too. It’s just it’s weird. Uh even people that are know about it, they all say it’s weird, too. Like it’s just this makes no sense. It’s just uh odd. Yeah. I mean, like I said, I I I think LeBron, you know, he had a chance to, you know, he chose the money over the ring first, let’s be honest. Yeah, he had a chance, bro. And they said in that in that little statement they put out, him and Rich Paul, that LeBron’s goal is chasing champ. He wants to win a championship. Well, you you chose the $53 million first, bro. Which I’m not mad at. Here, that’s your right. It’s $53 million. A lot of freaking money, especially if you want to buy a team. And then I know they say LeBron’s a billionaire. He’s really not a billionaire. He’s a he’s he’s made of he’s uh added up to almost a billion dollars in his through the money he’s made through the league, but he’s spent some of that money, too. So, he’s not technically not worth a billion dollars. You You get what I’m saying? Like Mhm. Yeah. I know. His value is a million a billion dollars what he’s acquired throughout his career, but he spent some of that on investments and stuff. Yeah. So, that’s why he has investors when he’s trying to get a team. So, I mean, I could see why they need $53 million help with some of that investment money with the team, but you know, let’s just be honest, he still took the money first over winning the rain because if he really wanted to win the rain, he should have came back here. He should have opted out and just came back here for the minimum because the best Yeah, the best chance of him winning the rain would have been here because you could have slid him right there at the three spot and the East is wide open and he would have fit right in. That’s what I said. I mean, Cass really, that’s the best options. Uh, probably those only two options he was considering, too. Yeah, I think those are the best options. Just looking at it, uh, the roster and everything, you know, not giving up nobody really. So, yeah, he did what he wanted to do, though. Yeah. I think it’s funny though that the Cavs really are in a position now where it’s like they don’t really they don’t need it. Like, if he don’t choose if he doesn’t choose them, it’s like they’re not panicking like we’re still a contender. You know what I mean? Like we could still win the East. We don’t need you. Like where when he came back, you know, over 10 years ago was like, “We need you to save us cuz we’re going down shit’s creek.” No, they in a different Yeah, it’s definitely different time. It’s just weird and weird though like how things have changed like Yeah, cuz he used to have all the power control. Now it’s all gone. Like he’s kind of got dipping in it right now. I think you credit that to you know the the front office Donovan Mitchell and stuff like that. You got to give credit. Yeah. Well, they took a swing on Donovan and it paid off. Can they bet on themselves? Shout out to Kobe Alman. Kobe Alman. Yeah, Kobe Almond, Dan Gilbert, the whole crew because as soon as we traded him that day, everybody said, “Oh, he’s going to leave in a year. He ain’t staying.” You know how it is. All the typical [ __ ] is BS. I had to shoot it down every time somebody says something. It’s like that’s not the case anymore, especially with the new CBA. Like, if you treat a guy well and you pay him what he wants obviously first and show a good enough team around him, he likes the culture and he’s the man there. They made him feel like the man, too. And keep in mind he he he grew up a Cavs fan, LeBron fan, Cavs. Most of these guys, they grew up a LeBron, you know, they was room for the Cavs, Gonzo Balls, like you got New York ties, which I know people thought he’s going back to New York because that’s where he’s from, but you could still take a private plane to New York in an hour from here. So, you know, I mean, he’s got everything he needs and it paid off. They took a swing and it paid off. And really, for the kind of player they got, you look at what they gave up, they didn’t really give up a whole lot for him. Oh, no. The Kobe Kobe Arman is uh Well, you know, no disrespect to Colin Sex, man. That’s my I love Yumble, but he’s not there anymore. So, no, I just I just had to, you know, but that he didn’t he didn’t pan out there long term. Lori Markin’s probably getting traded out of there soon cuz he’s not a But we we got to wait to see. We We going We going to wait and see what Sexon do in Charlotte. We going We going to wait. But I’m for the Jazz They didn’t get what they wanted out of that trade. No, no, no, no. We We No, no, no. I mean Lori Markin was the main piece in my opinion. I think Lori but he’s not a franchise. No no no centerpiece you know I mean like we miss them really and who what happened to Abaji? Did he just disappear? Abaji end up to I think Toronto and um I think if I think he’s still on Toronto I think I think he end up getting to the going to the Raptor. He end up getting traded again or moved. Dang. Yeah. So I mean I mean when we we dragged to him I was like okay cool he won the championship you know whatever we rebuilding whatever but when we traded him I was like you I’m not I’m not upset. Yeah we got we got Donovan for you know a bot whatever. One thing I will say though on the LeBron stuff I know people are tired of hearing about it with Cassav which I get it. I’m tired of covering him. But, uh, it’s not going to stop though because he’s going to be free next summer and there’s a good chance he’s back here next summer. So, yeah. Yeah, it’s it’s a chance, man. Really good chance. It’s going to uh circle again. Um, 2026 in Cleveland might be pretty wild in all sports really when you might have the James G here and you might have the Manning family here. So, uh, yeah, good for the media. Oh, yeah. That’s going to be hell of a content for us. But, uh, I think the I’ll be on the Browns one though, that one’s going to be the one everybody gets freaked out about. I know it came out yesterday. I know it’s basketball, but I know you probably saw that the Wak Cow put out. Mhm. So, yeah, 2026 might be a hell of a year at Cleveland sports in terms of headlines. But um as far as this year though, the only team that’s going to be any chance of winning anything is going to be the Cavs. The Browns this year are going to stink. Uh they’re not trying to win. This is basically a wash for the Yeah, they it’s a wash. They’re the ownership’s got his own plan. Um unless unless you unless you go into Miracle Ryan. No, that ain’t happening here. They’re not trying to win. I think Unless everybody get hurt. Unless Flaco or Dylan Gabriel’s like the next Bodex or something. I I don’t see it. But the team, the rest of the team’s just not that good. They don’t have any receivers outside of Judy. They don’t that’s proven. The old line’s still a question mark. That’s the biggest question mark. That old line ain’t good. They ain’t doing [ __ ] So, uh, yeah, but that ownership, he already has his plan and it’s coming out now. People are seeing it. It’s been his plan all along. So, who’s he talking about? He’s talking about LeBron. Uh, oh yeah, I know Wally’s not. I’m telling you, Wally, I’m it ain’t going to stop though. You know that these people are going to It’s going to be probably not during the season, but I would say towards once the Lakers season’s over, which is probably going to be shortly uh after the playoffs begin. Um because I don’t think the Lakers are doing anything this year. I mean, what do you think about the Lakers team? You think they’re any real threat in the West? No, I don’t I don’t think they’re a threat. I just think um I think they still probably can make the playoffs. I think they probably going to try to look to add another piece probably, but they not a threat. No, I don’t look at them as a threat in the West. It’s too many It’s too many teams that I’ll put over them in the West. I take the Clippers over them. Yeah, right now the Clippers. Yeah, I would. I just think the Clippers have a little more I don’t I don’t like this Lakers team, honestly. No, the Lakers team. I mean, anybody saying Lakers is about to like delusional, but Oh, yeah. their media. There’s some good I know not not the whole there are some good ones I like but that cover the Lakers but there are some other media people out there. My gosh they sell that [ __ ] every year. They could have I mean 20 trash bags in that locker room literally and they would say this team can win a championship. I mean it’s every year they sell those fans out there. I don’t think there’s more delusional fans than Lakers fans because they get sold a bag of gold every year and they all fall for it. They’re all over the internet. Like, who’s going to stop this team this year? Yeah, you got a guy who’s going to stop Aiden, a guy that they’re paying him not to play for them. Uh, who’s going to stop Jake Laravia? Who’s I mean, Marcus Smart who’s like way past his prime? I mean, are you kidding me? That’s who you put next to LeBron and and not I mean and then you got LeBron doesn’t want to be there. He’s be sitting there pouting the whole season. He’d be sitting there, you know, sitting there scratching his beard on the bench looking all pissed off and he’s going to walk out of stadium early. Yep. Yep. And just leave and that’s going to be it. Biting his fingernails. Biting his finger. Yeah. Clipping his fingernails on the bench. That’s nice. And then uh Yeah. And they’re not doing anything. And then you got JJ Rex sitting there cussing everybody out again. Calling a timeout. I mean, they ain’t doing [ __ ] but their media, my gosh, they sell them. I mean, you turn on uh Lakers Nation, shout out to them. But man, they get up there, I mean, all these channel, they get up there, they act like they’re going to like win the whole thing. I’m like, guys, you don’t see the roster. Look, man, I be going at on my cousin. My cousin is a Lakers fan. He Oh my god. Terrible. Delusion is real for some of them. For some of them. Um, it’s like it’s crazy. And you know what’s funny too is they all talk [ __ ] on LeBron, but then they when he was getting ready when he was threatening to leave this off seasonason, it was he ain’t leaving. He ain’t going nowhere. He’s he’s one of us. Like what do you mean you want him now? Like one minute you want him, the next minute you don’t. Oh, because your team would be worse. That’s why. Because your team’s really not that good to begin with. I just I don’t get it. That’s my rant for the day, folks. Salute to Freddy. Shout shout out to Freddy. Yeah, Freddy G. What’s good, Freddy? Got Bruce in the chat, too. Shout out to Bruce. Bruce has me crack it up. I love when Bruce gets rolling. Yeah, Bruce is uh shout out to Thomas, too. Bruce, shout out to Thomas. I remember Thomas. Yeah. Uh Humble said that he’ll take Larry over everybody on a cash bench. Well, yeah. I mean, I would too. I wouldn’t mind. I mean, Could you imagine if we if we could just insert him now as a free agent for no money and as a starting three? Could you imagine what that team would look like now? Um, we place him like we like if we just imagine if he was just like a free agent and we just sign him for the minimum. You’re our starting three. We talking fantasy. All right. All right. All right. Yeah, that’s what I’m saying. Like, hey, you’re our starting three again. Could you imagine him now with this team? Yeah. Him being developed already. How that size again in the front court with the shooting like Yeah, it’d be uh GG’s for everybody. It was, you know, Yeah, it was already crazy when we did it the first time, but Humb developed him and Moley. Yeah, that was a hell of a front court, man. They gave people problems when those three were out there. Oh, yeah. They You couldn’t see past the rim. Yeah, them guys out there, them long sevenfooters. Yeah, that was crazy. And you know, um, at the late end, I liked it. I mean, I’m not laughing when you’re saying, but that last comment Freddy G just put Freddy He said, “I that’s why they need coach right there.” That’s why I gotta get their coach texting me and saying, “Send me email.” Talking about I know you talking about Freddy G. Yep. I know Freddy G talking about Li still the goat. Yeah. Down there laying down concrete today. I saw I was like, “Damn, look at you humble.” It was a grown man. The humble man. Got the humble out there doing some grown man work in this heat, too. It’s hot as hell today. Humble. Stay hydrated. Yeah. Drink your water. Humble. Humble. Follow that hydration circle. Humble. Putting in that work, man. I’m happy for you. Humble. Keep on, bro. Keep on doing your thing, bro. Respect the working, man. Absolutely. Humble. Humble out here. He doing Yeah. Humble doing a lot. N I respect Humble for his work ethic. Yeah. Oh, so just so you know. Okay. So, you got anything else? Uh, Joseph, anything else? Nah, man. You know, it’s been real quiet. I mean, uh, what are we about now? Probably two week two months away from Bass Cavs. Really? What? I think two months is when they start to report back. So, yeah, end of September. So, we got a long way to go. I mean, it’ll go by fast, but Oh, yeah. We already about to be in August. Yeah, it’s going by fast. So, I don’t know. It’s going to be interesting. I mean, we’ll see. I’ll still be keeping an eye on the LeBron stuff, but I don’t know. I mean, I’m like Zack Low. Like, I don’t know what the hell’s going on. It’s Everybody’s just kind of tired of it to be honest with you. Yeah, it is tiring because it’s like it’s LeBron, man. Yeah, it’s like this is stupid. Like, make up your [ __ ] mind. I’m sorry. Make up your mind and be done with it. Uh, no need for all that. You got your cousin now, LeBron. Thanks. But, uh, but you know what I mean? It’s like I will say though that’s a good I’m glad Hmel just brought this up. LeBron I know this LeBron really wanted CP3 uh in the Lakers uniform and the fact that CP3 didn’t even go there is that’s pretty sad. I mean, yeah. Yeah, that’s a he really wanted C he was expecting CP3 to I mean, he been wanting CP3 for a long time, I think, but it was really rumored this off season and it was a lot of people thought it was going to happen, but the fact that not only to go back to LA, but went to the other team that’s just like the rival. That’s uh I thought that was a little like h Yeah. Bruce, what do you think of that signing? What do you think about that team, Bruce, the CP3? I mean, they got a you look at the names on that team. I mean, they got the hell of hell of a names now. I mean, they got James Harden, they got Kawhai, they got obviously Bradley Beal, they got CP3, they got Brook Lopez, they got Nick Patum still, they got all these older guys, but they got a lot of names. What do you think of that team? Yeah, Clippers. They I mean, they got they got their starting five, so they got I was asking you though, like what do you think of that team? Oh, you talking about me or Bruce? Well, both. Well, I was asking both. My bad. Oh, you clarified, but I was asking you, too. Like, what do you think of that team? Oh, no. I had no problem with it, man. Um, I think the Clippers finally got their starting five. I mean, all they did was replace. What does Bruce think of the age of the team? Bruce probably clowning. He probably Well, I mean, Bruce is Bruce. I remember when we talked about guys, we were talking about, we talking about Kevin Love. He was like, “Why would you want Kevin Love? He’s he’s too old.” Like, uh, but they had a lot of older guys that are better than Kevin Love, but still older. I’m just cur, you know what I mean? Like they I’m Bruce got his comments, but most of the club nation they they cool with the with the sign. I mean, Chris Paul’s oldest. Not like you asking Chris Paul to start or be man, you know? I think he’s still a hell have a backup point guard. Yeah, but you Yeah, but you’re not like you’re not asking a lot from this man. No, I I like the way I like their team. I mean, I think What does their starting five look like to you? I mean Harden Bradley Bill Kaw go back to the three John Collins they finally get a power forward and they got Z back that’s a start five. Yeah. Yeah. It’s not bad. They finally but they’ve been missing a young like a young power forward. They finally got a power forward. Yeah. I think Beal will do better with Hard. Hard’s a better point more natural point guard than Deon Booker. So yeah. I don’t think I I don’t think Deon Booker is ever really a point guard honestly. you know, they going back. He’s playing point guard this year again. So, yeah, good luck to them. Um, they’ll get a nice real nice uh real nice lottery pick. They’ll be high in the lottery balls, but uh um but James, he obviously can dish it and can Yeah, he he’ll be I I like to see him and CP back out there getting together, too. That’s some lineup. Yeah, I thought I thought that was uh cuz you know how things, you know, ended, but I was like, yeah, they could have won it in 18 if he didn’t pull his hamstring. They were they had the late they had the Warriors on the ropes. I mean they were they did they were a bad match up for them cuz they the way they play and they could match their threes and they uh that I mean they shot themselves in the foot though. But yeah well he got hurt. It was once CP got hurt and then they still had a bad They still shot James had a shitty game and they all was playing bad. They had the Angie’s part of the game though. You just got to find a way to to try to pull it out. I know it hurts. Well that’s what I say. You live and die by the three. That’s what happens. Yeah, I still the Warriors, they didn’t. They had an inside at game, too. And a lot of times those two I mean, look at what Shane Gil just Alexander just did winning a championship. It was a lot of mid-range shots. A lot of two. He had a lot of layups and a lot of mid-range shots. That’s And that’s his game, too. And that’s all he really That’s proves to you, too. All these analytic people that say three three. Nah, that’s not what win championships. Oh, how be tripping, man. That’s you. They already old, man. They don’t need another injury prone guy. Um, nah, they don’t need Embiid. That’s Nah. Nah. Zub. It’s too many. Too many. I think they should trade Zubot. Why would the Philly do that trade though? It’s too many. Too many. You know, I’m sure what you call it. I’m sure DFJ. Um, but I think DFJ like Zubot, but I Well, why why would Philly do that trade? That’s crazy. I said that. I mean, I know Debbie gets hurt, but he’s still an MVP caliber player when he’s healthy. Last I saw. Yeah, but but I’m not like I’m not I’m not touching the MB thing cuz I just I just can’t trust Embiid right now. They’re probably stuck with him beating Philly. Yeah, some people some people He’s not bad. I mean, like I said, when he’s healthy, he’s we know what kind of player he is. He’s one MVP. He’s He’s the man, but he’s just got to stay healthy. Uh, but I don’t I mean, if I’m the Clippers, I would actually do that trade. I think that’d be a steal. Get a whole Allstar team. You can market that. I mean, they got they already got How much help Kawan need, man? They already got a Allar. They got to win it this year. If they don’t win it this year, they got to start talking about blowing it up. Yeah. I mean, Bruce, like Bruce said, Bruce already said, you know, call the hater on the pull up. Um, somebody asked you a question earlier. I’m gonna go back. I’ll find it for uh Oh, go ahead. I’m sorry. All right. No, he said Clippers fans always hyping up watch players and say great team still gonna be. Yeah, they do that. They do that. Bruce, Bruce, I see that comment he left earlier about Miami and Jeff T. Oh yeah, I went past that. I Yeah, we’re not trying to get Yeah, they pulled up on him. We’re not trying to get pulled up on Tun. They’re coming in black SUVs and all black suits. They’re coming at you. I already know JFT came out there last night, put out his little statement like, “I’m sorry. I was just joking.” Like, okay. Yeah. Okay. Oh, I had said it, man. Must have threatened you. They had a nice little lawsuit ready to hit his ass with. Shout out to Wy Wally about to get his job started. Shout out to Wy. Um, nice job, Wally. The season been like when Paul came to Clippers when they bought Lance Stevenson. Um, H. Yeah, I pissed with the Clippers. Uh, probably Clip is going to be B. Yeah. Yeah, I might I might send Coach Agüero out there to LA. Yeah, I think he need to go to LA. All the bands with him. Yeah. Icy Hot, everything. Yeah. Supportive Paige left a comment earlier I want to touch. He said, “LeBron starts the year with one team. If they suck, Adam Silver will let him have a whole new roster at that. The deadline never saw that in sports ever. Hash codle.” That’s I I get what you’re saying, Sporting Page. Trust me. But I He doesn’t sound like he’s the agenda anymore, though. I don’t think they’re helping him out anymore, which is why he’s pissed off because his whole plan uh went to [ __ ] Oh, yeah. Right here. Cottage 81 asked you earlier, who’s a better coach, Kenny Ason or Toronto at TuneIn Sports? Uh Kenny Aerson. Um yeah, Kenny Ason, bro. Tyron Lewis is can’t keep living off the uh that championship, bro. I mean, who does a lot of great things coach, but yeah, players coach. He’s great at out of bound. He’s good at like drawing up out of bounds, plays out of timeouts, at least well what I can remember him. Uh does a lot of good things. That’s just I don’t know. I think it’s time for change there if they don’t if they I mean they got to go all in this year but if they don’t win this year they got to blow that whole thing up because I mean how long what do you I mean how long you keep dragging it out there I mean they paid them they they they they had a chance not to pay him they decided to pay him again keep him from going to you know the opposition I guess but they paid them the money so gave him another contract so that’s on the Clippers at Joe any can anything can happen right Luca the Lakers suspected the unexpected Exactly. And that’s why I’m not saying anybody get their hopes high, but all I’m saying is when things get really quiet like that, it makes sure you kind of like you have to keep keep an eye on it. You know what I mean? It’s like some How do you go from all that to all of a sudden watering it down? It’s like their comments are in the screaming Zach Low. Like there’s no real solution to that yet. So, it’s really not settled. So, I don’t know. We’ll see. Yeah, I’m sending coach he wants to go. He’s trying to get all the emails. I got to give him all the emails to all these teams, but they need them. A lot of these trainers, these teams are hiring in the sports pro level are terrible. Absolute junk. Everybody’s got these new methods now. All this weird stuff. And then you wonder what these guys, the injury risk is going up because number one, they’re not practicing enough, but they’re not preparing enough either. Remember coach said preparation today is at an all-time low. Talking about practice. Yeah, you don’t practice bad preparation. I thought KG and Paul Pierce reacted to that injury stuff and I thought they had a hell of a take on it and I agree with everything they said. Yeah, I see uh you know I see you know KG working out with Evan Moley. I know you haven’t missed out. Yeah, and I like that because if you hear what KG said about when they talk about the injury risk or the injuries going excuse me with the Achilles and all that him and Paul Pierce spoke on it and you know KG keeps it real. He was talking about how he sees a lot of bad preparation just like coach said and his guys see it and they talk about what dirt their workouts used to be in the summer and he goes that when we used to run up the hills in the summertime out in LA out in the beaches and you know doing calf raises and playing basketball and just you know doing all that training goes we get in the fourth quarter middle of the season we’re fresh and we’re ready to go and we never really got injured. We did a lot of and they did a lot of flexibility work, stretching and a lot of that stuff which these guys do not do nowadays which is why you’re why you’re seeing a lot of these injuries. The only guy I’ve seen using a band and like personal use publicly I know LeBron us but public which is why he’s played as long but publicly is Paulo Bancer started using it after his injury so I’m sure that’ll help him out. Cameron Payne using it too. Let’s check Yeah. I mean here he’s played a long time. I mean, he’s not the greatest player, but look at they’re good. I mean, look how long he’s been in the league. I had to bring it up. I saw it was funny when he when he was uh when he was uh I just saw a funny clip of him recently. Shout the hell up. These guys though, their preparation, but he talked about But I like that he’s working with Moy because he’s he’s showing Moy how to properly prepare. Yeah. You know what I mean? Like you’re probably you’re going to see a different Moy this year. I I 100% guarantee it. and Moy haven’t really had no um you know no crazy injuries. I mean when he had got hurt that last time he actually was like recovered pretty fast. I think that was a contact injury if I’m not mistaken. So but he’s gotten bigger. He looks bigger. He’s gotten bigger and he looks f He looks all around better. He Let him play in a do-agg do-aggy moy is it’s like hoodie mellow. That’s what I’ve seen. Durag Mobley is is giving dudes problems. I look at his arm. He’s a lot bigger than he was last season. He put on weight the season before, but that looks bigger already. You could tell he’s working with and you did you see the video of him running up those sand hills with James Harden? That’s Kevin Gard’s workout that him and Pierce used to do. That’s where he’s getting it from. And that stuff is great for injury prevention because it helps a lot of balance. Anytime you run on uh coach mentioned this on the show, anytime you run on like uneven surfaces like that with sand and you train on sand, it’s great for balance work. So, it helps you with your preventing angel ankle injuries, you know, I mean, because you don’t roll your ankles because your your coordination’s better, you know what I’m saying? So, I love I love that he’s And it helps your endurance and conditioning obviously as well. That’s tough as hell run up the hills like that in the sand. But, uh Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. He You’re going to see a different Vibe this year. I think you’re going to see a I think he’s going to be a little more animated this year. I think he’s going to be a little more, you know, I always said that he plays more like Kevin Garnett, but he has Tim Duncan’s mannerisms. But now that he’s working with KG, I feel like you’re going to see a little like I mean, look at him. He got the I never seen him with a do-rag on. He’s got a do-agg. Has been a big fan of Mo. I like that he he sees a lot of himself in him, right? He’s similar in a way. Yeah, he really I mean, he’s very similar in a lot of ways. And uh yeah, I mean, and you see it too, like my my dad jersey saw KG early on his career in person, he say he’s the most impressive athlete I ever saw in person because he was like a computer out there. He goes, the way he was calling out, he was sitting right behind the backboard. He goes, the way he was calling out defensive assignments and like communicating and the way he moved it, he goes, I’ve never seen an athlete communicate and move like that. It was cra and I saw him later on his career in Boston in person. You could see it then. just the intensity and just the way but Moy he saw Moy in person too and he said Moby looks a lot sizewise and the skill set it’s similar to what he saw with the early KG in person and just be able to have that dominant anchor out there. Well, that’s what Moy got to work on too. Um communicate on defense. Yeah, which he does. I think it’s just his personality. But when I see him with a do-rag on and the way he’s the swagger he’s showing now and he’s posting more Instagram pics, I’m like, “Okay, he’s coming into his own a little bit.” But here he’s only 23, so he’s growing as a person, too. Like, I’m 25 and I’ll be 26 next month. I’m a different person at 25 than I was at 23. Maturity. Yeah. It’s all about growth, confidence-wise. I mean, like, you know, as you get older, you you just grow. So, yeah, that definitely. Yeah. So, I think that’s what you’re seeing with him. And his body is starting to fill out, too. All right, Humble. But I’mma take off too. Tune. Uh, I think we pretty much said everything we need to get off. Yeah, we said Yeah, we we said a lot, man.
