RaptorsFreak Tue. Trivia! How close did you pay attention to 2025 NBA Summer League for the Raptors?

Good morning, Raptor Freaks. Alexiots here. It’s Tuesday morning. We’re doing Raptor Freak Tuesday trivia today. It’s going to be all about Summer League. So, hopefully you were paying attention so that hopefully you can do well on the questions. So, I’ll read some of the comments uh on the chat and then we’ll go right into the trivia very very soon. Uh so, let’s start off. Trevor J saying, “Let this wonderful morning bring you new freshness, new confidence, and new success. Have a great and blessed day.” I love that wish. Thank you, Trevor. That’s uh in some ways not really a word of wisdom, but more of a wish for this day. Yeah, there you go. New freshness, new confidence, and new success. I love it. Thank you, Commissioner Fun Trevor J. I appreciate you very much. He’s bringing us some bad news here. Sad news about Malcolm Jamal Warner yesterday. I was shocked to see this yesterday when I caught I caught it online. uh Cosby show Malcolm Jamal Warner used to play Theo died in an accident on vacation this uh yesterday. They’re saying he was drunk and he drowned. Uh yeah, I mean I don’t want to play conspiracy theorist or anything weird on this, but I just feel sad about this. He’s 56 years old. He’s somebody that a lot of us, you know, grew up watching. You know, in some ways it’s weird because, you know, he was on the most popular TV show on television for the longest time. He made a certain amount of money off of syndication for the longest time and then it didn’t anymore because of certain things. Luckily, Malcolm Jamal Warner had a very uh prestigious career post Cosby Show, doing many different sitcoms and different projects and continuing to work in the industry uh beyond uh The Cosby Show. And uh you know, he man, this is so out of the left field and out of the blue this this this news to me. It’s just sad. It sucks. I hate it. I hate it so much. Rest in power to Malcolm Jamal Warner and uh all the people that love him, his family and friends, and all the fans around the world. I feel for you because I’m with you. I’m with you. This is sad. It’s sad. This is way too young. Way, way too young. James is here. Going to see Raptor Freak James and see what he’s saying. Chris Paul signed with the Clippers. Thoughts? Yeah, we knew this was going to happen. That was uh said about a week or a week and a half ago that Chris Paul’s most likely to sign back with the Clippers. And well, it makes sense. So now they’ve got this, you know, they really are the retirement home over there. These guys are their age bracket. Well, it ain’t like most, it ain’t like the Thunder, that’s for sure. It ain’t like the Raptors. These guys are up there. They got a whole starting lineup of old guys now with Chris Paul, Bradley Beal, uh, James Harden, Kawhi Leonard. Yeah. Yeah. And they even got two centers, too. They could broke Brook Lopez in there. Make a really, really old team. Brook Lopez has been around forever, too. So, yeah. Clippers are old. Sorry, a little Tim and Eric influence there. Sorry. Uh, also James is letting us know and this one this one hit hard too yesterday. I mean, I’m glad. I’m so happy for this. It makes sense in some ways. Orlando Robinson signed a contract with the Orlando Magic yesterday. So, this the the possibilities of him coming to the Raptors again this year, it’s they’re out the window now. And the the man’s a magic. Orlando is a magic. And in some ways, I’m very very happy for him. He deserves to be in this league. I think he’s a good player. And well, you know, the job he did on the Raptors last year was seen on tape and obviously the Magic or like, yeah, we could use Orlando on our team for some center depth and bring him in. That’s too bad we didn’t do this. Seriously, Bobby Wes, what’s going on, man? Why couldn’t we have Orlando Robinson on our team in training camp for this year coming up, please? Nah, it’s too late. He’s signed. Orlando is on Orlando now. It is what it is. Two-way two-way contract. Okay. Okay. See, isn’t we could have I mean, it’s not that we have a two-way available right now. I’m also hearing that uh the Lakers are going to give Christian Koko a two-way for this year. So that they haven’t given up on him. He’s gonna be stick around on the Lakers as a two-way contract. So, yeah. Trevor J saying people are going crazy with that post uh by Clutch about Ingram and the Raptors. Where are they going crazy? What do you mean? He’s just saying, are they saying I don’t know what their opinions are in some ways? I don’t know what they’re saying. Like, I mean, what he said is true, but I don’t understand why they’re going crazy. What are they going crazy about it? It’s just Rich Paul talking about how the NBA is changing. Are they people being negative about it? Are people being positive about it? What are they saying, Trevor? I don’t know. I don’t know what people are saying. I don’t listen to them. They’re idiots. I don’t listen to them. So, I don’t know what they’re saying. All right, let me keep going. Trevor’s bringing up the fact that R.J. Barrett was at the Raptors Basketball Academy yesterday with the kids. I don’t know if that’s actually held at OVO, just so you know. I don’t know if that’s actually at OVO, Trevor. But yeah, they’re at the Raptors Basketball Academy yesterday. He was the special guest and he was out there having a blast. man, he looks like he’s so fun to be at the camp with. Those little kids are just enjoying themselves being there with R.J. R.J. throwing down some dunks, did Alioop even hit a half court shot, which is pretty dang cool. Yeah, I’m really really happy to see R.J. smiling and around the Raptors uh basketball academy. That’s pretty cool. James is saying, uh, Pistons were the six seed last year. Do you see us being better than Detroit? It’s going to be interesting because like I said, they lost some of their veteran leadership, but they’re getting Jaden Ivy back. I don’t know if that’s actually good. Jaden Ivy’s one of these players that I don’t totally believe in that he may be a careless kind of like loose player that’s not playing really solid, then he could actually be worse for the Pistons playing more than being out last year. You know, I don’t know. Dennis is gone. Tim Hardaway Jr.’s gone. Malik Beasley’s looking like he’s in trouble with betting. You know, Detroit is gonna have Cunningham, sure, and he’s gonna continue to grow. Jaylen Duran, uh, is u uh Stewart. You know, there’s all kinds of different guys that they’ve got on that team that are good. But once again, they shuffled up their roster a bit. They didn’t keep the same nucleus. So, there’s no guarantees that the Pistons will continue their good feelings because you when you make some changes, even if they’re not the main main players, you’re still making changes and it can change things. So, we don’t know what’s going to happen with uh the Detroit Pistons. I think we’ll be better than them. I’m going to say this right now, James, and you can put a pin in on me. I think we’re going to finish higher than them in the standings somehow, someway. We’ll be better than the Pistons this year. I believe it. I believe it. That’s right. Uh Mon’nique is here. Good morning, Rat Freak crew. I had a feeling it’s summer league trivia. Well, you’ve noticed the pattern, haven’t you, Mo? The after the Tuesday after summer league is always summer league stats. This is actually the fourth time I think I’ve done the summer league stats for the trivia. So, yeah, most Mo’s good at recognizing patterns. That’s why she’s good at what she does. And uh well, she was pretty sure it was going to be summer league trivia. Well, you were right. You got me. You got me, Mo. You definitely got me on that. That’s right. Mo’s so smart. Trevor’s saying, “See y’all tomorrow again.” Uh, by God’s grace and mercy. See, Trevor’s on work. He’s not on vacation anymore. Summer League’s over. Trevor’s at work and Trevor’s got to go and go back to sleep so he can get a little bit more rest before he does the work at the trade show out there. So, Trevor, I wish you all the rest and I hope you feel refreshed and ready to do your work. That’s right. I know you’re going to. Yeah. I’ll see you tomorrow. Thank you for coming in this morning. Uh Mo saying interesting thoughts by Rich Paul regarding Brandon Ingram. Your thoughts. Well, Mo, it’s basically I did talk about this yesterday on the stream actually because I I went over the story yesterday. Um I’ll basically say it again. The middle class of the NBA is ruined. And uh in some ways, Brandon Ingram would be in that middle class unless he holds uh a max level contract through trade. if he tested the free agency waters this summer, he probably would have gotten paid way less and somewhere else or something like that. The Raptors wanted him and they put a stake in him. Now, I don’t know what Trevor’s alluding to as far as like these people are saying all this stuff about I don’t know what they’re saying. I don’t care. The noise is stupid anyway. If Brandon Ingram’s a top level player and he’s a badass and he plays really well for us, it won’t matter what what we paid him or anything like that. Once again, I think his contract’s going to be pretty good. But Rich Paul is looking out for his client and saying, “You know what? You’re you won’t go a better route in free agency. You’re better off in a signing trade and let’s see if we can hook something up with the Pelicans and the Raptors for that to happen.” And boom, that’s how it happened. And Brandon stays among the more max level paid players instead of going down where Gary and Precious and Chris are and uh not getting paid anywhere near what they should be being paid. Seriously, the middle class in the NBA, just like the middle class in society, is going kaput. And there’s just a very small percentage of max players on each team that make these huge contracts. They’re like 400 billion for this many years. And then there’s everybody else. They’re going to get paid the same. And that means players that are really good like Gary Trent Jr., Chris Bucher, Precious Sichuan, players that are talented and pretty good. They’re not going to get paid what they would have gotten paid five or 10 years ago, which would have been in the middle. No, there’s no middle anymore. There’s either you’re paid a huge amount or you’re right at the bottom and that’s it. And Brandon Ingram was saved by Rich Ball to stay up near the top with the higher salaries by making the decision that he did. So Mo, that’s it right there. If you uh you want to understand it there, trivia uh time coming from the commissioner of trivia, Adriana, thank you for being here, Adriana. It means so much to me that you’re here to still do trivia and help us out with this. I appreciate you so much. Thank you for being here. I hope you’re having a fantastic morning. Uh Fiery saying, “Good morning, fam, and happy trivia day. Annoyed Orlando Robinson signed elsewhere, but still wishing him success.” Who would have thought he’d get signed before Chris Buché or Precious or some of these other free agency people that are still out there? That’s amazing. So, yeah, it is what it is. I’m happy for Orlando. It’s kind of fitting Orlando in Orlando. I It’s always I wish he was on our team, though. I really do. She’s got the Kleenex out. She’s so sad about it. A Ky saying it’s about the Penny Pinchers bitching. We didn’t play hard ball with VI. Okay, so that’s what the noise is about it is that we didn’t play hard ball. You know what? There’s going to be negative people in the Raptors uh f uh fan base that are just going to be negative no matter what we do. And I’m sick of them. I’m so sick of y’all. Y’all just watch the game. Stop being so worried about the money. Stop being so worried about this and that. It ain’t your money. It ain’t this or that. If we do management of the team, we’re gonna do a good job most of the time. There may be a couple things we don’t do exactly right. And there’s a dumbass article on ESPN I’ll talk about in just a little bit. All kinds of dumb stuff. Dumb stuff on Reddit, dumb stuff on uh uh ESPN website. Yeah, there’s dumb stuff. We’ll go look at all this. So, I don’t care what they’re saying about the Brandon trade because honestly, they don’t have an opinion that matters until we see what he does. If he’s a bust, if he’s too hurt, if he does not earn his money, well then yeah, he’s a problem. He’s a failure. But if he’s a badass and he kicks so much ass and he’s like Kawawaii, the second coming of Kawawaii for the Raptors, y’all need to all shut the [ __ ] up is what I’m going to say to those people. Yeah, there it is right there. All right, let’s get in the trivia. You guys, we’re gotten to the end of the chat. I want to get going on this because I know some of y’all might be trying to get the answers and I don’t want you to do that. Let’s go off the top of our heads if we can’t because uh you know you guys watch the same games as me. This is about trip uh summer league. So, we’ll have to see. My glasses are not exactly right right now. They’re broken. I have to fix them again. But all right, let’s get going. Adriana is here to commission for our trivia and we will go forward. So guys, first person to write full name answers. Do not write half names. You will not get the points. Uh I want the judge to be strict on this. spelling doesn’t totally matter, but if you spell it more correctly, uh that’s probably a good idea. So, keep that in mind. All right, question number one, guys. We’re doing summer league uh trivia is basically what we’re doing today. Uh all right, guys. Here’s the first question. Who led the Toronto Raptors in blocks at the 2025 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas? Who led the team in blocks per game? Who had the most blocks per game for the Raptors at summer league? Uh, two-name answer. James is going to say Aris Shamsh. And he is right. Aish Shamsh is the answer. So, and you spelled that correctly very much so. So, James, you got it. Aish was the leader in blocks for the Raptors at summer league. That’s a good guess and the right guess. That’s right. All right. Next question. How many Raptors averaged over one steel at the at that summer league? How many Raptors averaged over one or more steals per game at the summer league? How many Raptors? Five. That’s not right, James. That is not right. It’s a good guess, though. Uh I don’t know if I should tell you higher or lower because it’s like, you know, in some ways this is a certain range of numbers. Seven. No, that’s not right either. Yeah, if you’re gonna you can be the one who just keeps going. Four. No fear. See, that’s not right either. I did give a clue to this on the Discord server the other day because I said how many, but it’s not actually accurate at the end here. Keep guessing, guys. Eight. Eight is not right. FY, you’re you’re getting there. Six isn’t right. Two isn’t right. You guys are going to be astounded by this. How many Raptors averaged at least one steel or more? FY got it. It’s nine. Nine Raptors. nine averaged one or more steals and Randolph getting in there right after and James too. But on my screen it’s Fierce Salsera. Adriana, do you see Fierce ahead of James and Randolph? Because nine is the right answer and I believe it’s MJ. Yes. Thank you, Adriana. I appreciate you confirming that it is Fierce Salera who put nine in first. Yeah, nine. All right, guys. Here’s the next question. Who are those nine then? 100 points for each of the names of the nine that got one or more steals at summer league. If you can name these nine individuals that got at least one steal per game while they were playing for the Raptors. Jamal Shed. Yes, he is on there. Fiercy, he is on there. He is actually fourth on the team in steals. Fourth. He’s not even number one. AJ Lawson. Uh yes, he’s third. FY’s getting two of them right off the bat. There’s nine names, y’all. So, put them in. You gotta see what you can do. Uh, Colin Bole. I know there’s a Murray in there, but you know what? Are we gonna give that to him? Is it fine if he says Colin Bole Adriana instead of saying Colin Murray Bole? I mean, I guess it’s his middle his his full name is is yes. Okay. All right. So, we’re going to give Colin Murray Bole to Randolph. Randolph Phillips getting Colin Murray Bole who’s actually second most steals on the team is uh Colin Murray Boils. I’m gonna have to sort out who’s getting these in order. Jacobe Walter Fiercy Sauer. That’s number one on the list. F Jacobe had the most steals for the Raptors at summer league. He averaged 2.6 steals per game. Monnique has got CMBB on there. James is saying Jacobe Walter. Fiery saying Jonathan Mo. Jonathan Mo is on here. Fiercy, he is one of the people that had at least one steal per game at summer league. Uh Colin Castleton. Fiercy, no. Colin Castleton is not on this list. Sorry, Fiercy. No, Colin Castleton. Elijah Martin is though. Elijah Martin on the list. Feary getting Elijah. That’s um Let’s see. You guys got one, two, three, four, five, six. You got six of the names. There’s still three more names on this list that had at least one steal per game. Uh Chucky Heppern is on the list. Fiercy. Chucky is on the list. Fiercy, there you go. Chucky Heburn is on there. Yeah, no stats for Colin. Colin did not get at least one steal per game. Yeah, there’s still two names on here, guys. I’ve got two names. You got seven out of the nine. Uh you’ve got uh most of the top ones so far. It’s Jacobe Walter, Colin Murray Boils, uh AJ Lawson, Jamal Shed, Elijah Martin, Jonathan Bobo, and Chucky Heburn. And there’s two more still. Two more Raptors at summer league that averaged at least a steal a game. Yeah. Joiner, dude. The joiner dude. No, not Joiner. Tom Joiner. No, not Tom Joiner. No, Jarkeel Joiner. No, not Jarkel. Jarkeel is not on this list, unfortunately. Fiercy, sorry to tell you that. Yeah, Quincy Gerier. No, not Quincy. Quincy is not on this list either. Wow, I didn’t realize this would be so tough. The last two names, the getting at least a steal. AJ Lawson’s already been guessed and gotten. Mo, he is on the list. You You’re getting them getting some of them. There’s two more names, though. You got to think about if you can figure them out. I know this is tough, man. I figure you guys There’s only a certain amount of people on the team. Jameson Battle is one of them. Yeah, fierce. You got Jameson. Jameson averaged one steal per game. Exactly. So, he is right at it. He was the last person who got added into this. He had a couple of steals in the last game against Sacramento and that got him into this group. There were only eight that averaged a steal per game until Jameson got a couple of steals in the last game and he came into this group at the last game. So yeah, Jameson Battle is the ninth player. There’s one more player you guys have not mentioned that is on on this list averaged at least a steal per game. And it’s interesting that y’all haven’t mentioned this person yet. Very very interesting because this this person does get steals also. Let’s just put it that way. So yeah, who is it? We’re going to see who you guys will guess here. Mo, I think you should get it if you think about it. Mo, who would it be that would get steals but also maybe rebounds and also maybe blocks. That’s right. Who would that be? Who would that person be that would get uh three all three of those pretty good in the category? I know there’s a couple guys it could be, but there’s one more name. And I can’t believe y’all haven’t been writing it down. Fiercy wrote a lot of names down. I see that. And she got a lot of them from doing this. But who’s the last name on the list? Uh, yeah. All right, Mo. I’ll give it to you. You got it. It is Aris Shamsh. That’s right. Even though you halfassed it, we’ll give it to you, Mo. You got Aish. So Mo’Nique is going to get Aish Shamshay for the last person on the list. So the nine Raptors that averaged a steal or more at the summer league, Jacobe Walter, Colin Murray Bole, AJ Lawson, Jamal Shed, Elijah Martin, Jonathan Mobo, Ara Shamsh, Chucky Heburn, and Jameson Battle. There you go. Look, good job, Mo. Good job getting Shamsh. All right, next question, guys. Let’s see who’s paying attention at summer league. Who averaged the most minutes per game at the 2025 Las Vegas NBA Summer League for the Raptors? Who averaged the most minutes per game for the Raptors? Don’t look it up. Try and just guess off the top of your head. Jacobe Walter. James, that’s a good guess. It’s not Jacobe. Kareem Thomas says Jameson Battle. That’s not right either. It’s not Jameson. Uh, and it’s not Jacobe Walker. I know. The spell correct is really mean sometimes. A au Lawson. No, it’s not AJ Lawson, guys. It is Jamal Shed. James is going to get it. He comes in and gets shed. It is Jamal Shed who averaged the most minutes at summer league. That’s right. Seymour is right behind James on my screen. Adriana, is that what it you see there? Looks like James and then Seymour for Jamal Shed. And you guys spelled it right. Yeah, you’re I know it’s that Mountain Standard Time. Yep. All right, cool. We got confirmation from commissioner uh Adriana Shed Van Vleet. That’s right. All right. Question number five, guys. The Raptors as a team led summer league in steals. How many did they average per game? How many steals per game were the Raptors as a team averaging for the summer league? Yeah. How many steals per game were they getting in the six games of Summer League? Let’s get a rounded number here. 19. Okay, that’s not right. 30. Nah, that’s way high. Uh, four is way too low, Fiercy. Come on now. Only four steals a game. Come on now. Yeah. Uh, remember, don’t look it up. Let’s just try and guess. Uh, that is closer. Uh, Fiercy 12.7. Very specific. 21’s too many. Isaac. 15. Kareem. Oh, Kareem’s getting closer. 22. Nah, James. Nah. 12. 12. That’s pretty close, too. Uh, no, it’s not 12. It’s not seven. It’s not 13. Okay. FY said 14. It’s technically 14.2 and she wrote it in just before Kareem. So 14 is the answer. Adriana, do you see uh Fierce is having 14 first? That looks like Fiery to me again. Fierce is just tough on that. Yeah, she’s tough. Yep. Okay, cool. We got Adriana’s number one top fan right now. Look at that. She’s got the crown and the little number one next to her. You’re number one. All right, cool. All right, good job. 14 point two steals per game for the Raptors at summer league. 14.2 steals. That’s pretty good. You know, most teams only average like six or seven steals a game. So, we like doubled that plus more. Seriously, it wasn’t even close. And you know what? The um the you know the we we led the summer league in steals. That’s the best number out of any team for sure, by far. All right, next question. Who averaged the most rebounds per game at summer league 2025 for the Raptors? Who averaged Oh, girl power is in effect right now. I see that. Okay, cool. Who averaged the most rebounds per game for the Raptors at summer league 2025? Al Shamsh is a good guess. It’s not right. Jonathan Mo is another good guess, but is not right. It’s not right. Those first two guesses are are are very good guesses, but they’re not right. Mo Jonathan. No, not Mo Jonathan. Kareem, I’m sorry. No, these are these are close. They’re up there. There we go. James is on it. It’s Colin Murray Boils. Carl Murray Boils averaged the most rebounds for the Raptors at summer league. He averaged five and a half rebounds a game. Yeah, five and a half rebounds. That’s right. Please don’t tell me it’s Castleton. No, it’s not Castleton. Don’t worry, it’s not Castleton. It is CMBB. And we got uh James writing in fully. And we have um Randolph second on my screen. Yeah, CNB CNB is right. And uh Seymour is throwing the white flag because the mountain time the internet is too far. He’s stretched too far away. He can’t get the message through the bank tube fast enough through the interwebs systems. You know what happens, Seymour? You have to write it on a piece of paper, put in the little thing through the tube like at the bank and it shoots through and it’s taking so long and then somebody has to pull it out and read it and then type it into the computer. That’s how the internet works, right? Isaac’s Isaac wants to dunk for Seymour. We’ll do that. We’ll do that. I don’t like that Seymour’s getting frustrated here. We’ll give him a dunk. The sheriff, you’re awesome, man. You’re awesome. 130 for sheriff on there. I I heard this song called City Slicker on the radio yesterday and I was like thinking about you. I was like, “Oh, this song’s called City Slicker. This seems like this should be the theme song for Seymour Pave.” So, if you want to look up the song Gingerroot, City Slicker, you should listen that song today. Uh, Seymour, I know that I was driving around yesterday thinking about you listening to Gingerroot. City Slicker. That’s right. City Slicker. Yeah, y’all have a better day than me. Oh, come on, man. We gonna make it good, man. You with Rogers Internet. I don’t know who he’s at. Trivia is too fast. I can’t. Yeah, you guys are doing all right. Seymour said, “I avoided a 20 car pileup this morning, so I’m good.” All right, City Slicker. All right, let’s keep going. Let’s keep going, guys. The Raptors as a team led summer league and fouls committed. That’s not surprising, right? That the Raptors led summer league and fouls committed as a team. How many fouls per game were the Raptors committing at summer league? Rounded. Let’s see who who’s got to get that. How many fouls per game were the Raptors putting on people in the six games there? 11. That’s too low. 23 is too low also, you guys. 32 is a better answer, but it’s not right. 25 is too low. Nine is too low. 30 is right. And it looks like we got Randolph getting this one. 30. It’s actually 29.6, but Randolph Phillips is going to get that rounded to 30. So, Randolph, good job. Uh, yeah, they average about 30 fouls per game. 30 fouls per game. Yeah, 30 30 fouls. Yikes. Yikes. Y’all were all right around there. That’s pretty good. All right, next question, guys. Who had an amazing poster dunk in the game against Chicago? Who had an amazing poster dunk? I know. That’s a lot of fouls. 30 fouls is a lot of fouls. That’s a lot. Really is. Who had an amazing poster dunk against the Chicago Bulls in summer league? That’s right. Elijah Martin. Fiercely remembers that. Of course, that was Florida’s Elijah Martin that threw that ball down like that. You know what I’m mad, though? Uh NBA GLeague on their channel came out with the best dunks at summer league. Guess which one wasn’t on there? Yeah, you can’t have the best dunks at summer league and not put the poster by Elijah Martin in the first game of this summer league for the Raptors. What are you doing NBA GLeague? Y’all just don’t want to put us on blast. Oh, the omission and the ignoring of the Raptors is going to be so bad in the era of King Rogers. I think that we’re going to find this very soon. Elijah Martin is exactly the right answer. Yeah, I see that all y’all are writing it in there. That’s good. All right, next question, guys. Who collected eight fouls but also seven rebounds in the Orlando Magic game? Who collected eight fouls but also seven rebounds in the Orlando Magic summer league game for the Raptors? Who was that player that got that eight fouls? He He didn’t foul out then because they weren’t counting the fouls there. Cass is saying Colin Murray Boss, too. That sounds funny. It is Colin Murray Boles is right. And you got this. He came back around. He got the name again. Adriana, we gonna give Colin Murray Boils to Cass since he came back and put the Boils for Voss. I see Isaac right below him. If not, I I see also if we’re really being nitpicky, uh Colin is two L’s and uh Isaac did not do the second L. So yeah, Adriana is saying it’s Cass. Cass is getting that one. Colin Murray Boils is it. Sorry, Isaac. Sorry, benevolent one. Oh, he did write in the double L. Ah, he’s put me on blast. He’s really trying to He’s not doing girl power. He’s doing put Lex on blast power to try and curry favor. I don’t know. We need an Adriana emoticon. Then you guys can suck up to her about whether it’s the right thing. We’re going to have to get Adriana emoticon. You know what I’m saying? That’s right. Girl power. That’s right. No, it’s going to be Cass this time. Sorry, Isaac. Sorry. Sorry. You get a lot of points all the time. All right, let’s keep going. All right, guys. You know, the Raptors led summer league in fouls, right? But listen to this. The Raptors also set led summer league in uh uh these two categories also. What two categories did the Raptors lead in summer league other than fouls and steals? What were the other two categories that they led the summer league at all 30 teams? Turnovers. No. No, they didn’t. They didn’t lead in turnovers. Thank goodness. Uh fat fingers. No, no, they have skinny fingers. No, I mean I know what you meant. Yeah, free throws and steals. Free throws. H could you elaborate on free throws, please, Isaac Campbell? Because I I you’re closed on that. I just need words after that. I want free throw something and then free throw something. Possibly creating turnovers. Yeah, that’s not really a stat. That’s not really a stat. Uh rebounds. No, they didn’t lead the summer league in rebounds. Free throw percentage. No, you know that’s not true, Isaac. Come on. Free throw attempts. Yes, Isaac Campbell. They did lead the league in free throw attempts. That is right, Isaac Campbell. They had 30.6 free throw attempts per game. So, they had more free throw attempts than any other team in summer league, even though they committed the most fouls. Yeah. So, free throw attempts is right. Fast break points is not right. Jussi, that’s a good guess. Uh, drawn fouls. No, that’s not right either. Uh, defensive sights. No. Free throws made. Isaac Campbell getting the other one, too. Yeah, they’re both free throws attempted and free throws made. They actually tied the Magic for free throws made. They both had the average of 21.8 eight free throws made per game. The Magic shot better at free throw line, so they had less attempts. So that’s what it was. So yeah, Raptors led the summer league in free throw attempts and free throws made for the league. So even though we committed the most fouls and we got the most steals, we were getting the line the most, too. So that’s pretty good. Offensive charges. That’s actually a good guess. That might have been one of them. There you go. Look, Isaac sucked up. I mean, he got 200 points on that last question. There you go. Yay. Hey, Raptors. Yeah, free throw attempts, free throws made. They were leading in that, too, guys. All right, question 11. Trivia is going good. We’re learning about summer league. We’re remembering it. Let’s see which one which of the Raptors All right, this is a good question. Which of the summer league Toronto Raptors did EJ Liddell talk smack to with the most? I have three names on this list. Who is EJ Liddell getting into it with the most in the game where EJ Liddell was acting out and being crazy. What three players on the Raptors was he messing with the most? Isaac Campbell saying Elijah Martin. That’s right. He did get in Elijah Martin’s face at one point. So Isaac is gonna get Elijah Martin. Jacobe Walter. Of course, that was the main one that he got in a face of Jacobe Walter. Let’s see if you guys figure out the last one. Colin Castleton is the last one. Fierce got it. Yeah, I put Castleton on there for that because he came back around and was talking smack to his face. Good job. You guys remember the beefing? The beefing. Yeah. Elijah Martin, Jacobe Walter, Colin Castleton were the three main people that EJ Liddell had issues with. Yeah, in that one game. Wow. Good job. You guys jumped all over that one. All right, we still got some questions to go, guys. So, there’s still chances to get more trivia points, and I’ll post the totals for the trivia after the game so you guys can see where you stand at this point. Early in the trivia season, who led the Raptors in the scoring average at summer league 2025? who led the Raptors in scoring average most points per game for the Raptors at summer league. Who was that points per game leader for the Raptors? Uh yeah, Fiercy, you keep spell correcting his name. Weird. Yeah. And and it’s and then Lawson. It’s AJ Lawson. Yeah, sure. We’ll go with that. Fiery fixing it and putting the AJ in afterwards. AJ Lawson definitely was the leading scoreer for the Raptors points per game. Yeah, Castleton finally got on the board for that. Colin Murray Boils, that’s a good guess, but it’s not right. It’s not right. Castleton did finally get an answer, but it was uh for dubious thing. Not not necessarily a good thing. All right, next question. Who got six offensive rebounds and 20 points against the Golden State Warriors at Summer League 2025? Who got six offensive rebounds and 20 points against the Warriors in the Warriors in the Warriors game? That’s right. Colin Murray Boles is right. Isaac Campbell running in there and grabbing that one. It’s a steal just like the Raptors. Isaac Campbell getting CMBB who got eight offensive six offensive rebounds and 20 points against the Warriors. You’re noticing Colin Marie Bole’s name is answered a lot of these questions. That’s pretty good. That’s pretty good. It looks good that his name is the answer to a lot of these questions. All right, next question. We still got four more to go. It’s apppropo that the Raptors averaged this many points a game in the summer league 2025. It’s apppropo that the Raptors averaged this amount of points per game for the whole entire summer league. This is their total point score. How many? 100 100 Isaac. No, they didn’t average 100 points summer league. It’s apppropo that they averaged this. 95 is exactly right fiercy. And why is that apppropo? because that’s the year the Raptors started. The Raptors averaged 95 points per game during summer league this time. Yeah, look at all putting the 95 in there right there. Fiercy is number one on my screen. Adriana Isaac second and Kareem is third on my screen. First to first to it was Fiercy. Raptors year. Yeah. 95. Yes. Thank you, Adriana. Thank you. All right. Next question. Who got the only double double for the Raptors at summer league? There was only one double double by the Raptors. the whole entire summer league. Who got it? Who got the only double double for the Raptors at summer league? Yeah. Who was it? AJ Lawson is not right. AJ Lawson did not get the only double double. No, he did not. There was only one double double out of the whole entire summer league. Nobody got a double double other than one person. They got one double double. Who was the person who got a double double at summer league? CMBB. Colin Murray Boles is not right. Wayne, good to see you this morning. Wayne, good to see you. Yeah, it wasn’t Colin who got the only double double for the Raptors in the five summer league games that we played just last week. Colin Murray Boils is not right. Randolph, I know he’s been the answer to a lot of these questions today, but not on this one. Who got the only double double for the Raptors in the five games at summer league? Who would it be? There’s only a certain amount of players, so we got to think about it. There we go. Randolph’s going to get this one. It is Jamal Shed. Jamal Shed got a double double in the Sacramento game that we lost on Saturday night. He had a double double in assists and points. So, Randolph getting on this one, too. Randolph’s gotten a couple of answers today. I like this. Like to see Randolph getting on the trivia game and uh you know coming in and getting some answers. Elijah Martin is not right. Sorry, Mon’nique. It is Jamal Shed. Shed did the double double. That’s right. Not Mo. Sorry, Isaac. Nope. Nope. Shed. Shed. That’s right. All right. Two more questions, guys. All right. Who got the technicals in the Sacramento game? There were three technicals handed out at Sacramento game the last game we played. Who were the people that got the technicals at the Sacramento game the last game we played on Saturday night? Jamal Shed is not right. He did not get a technical. That’s right. Colin Murray Boils is right. Koy is got that one. It is calling. He got one of the technicals. He got an illegal defense. That’s what the technical shot was. It was that. Yeah, it’s not Colin Castleton. No. Who got the technicals in the Sacramento game? Colin Murray Boils is is right. Whoa. Whoa. Don’t halfass me, Wayne. We don’t halfass here. You’re gonna get Seagull if you’re not careful. That’s right. Colin Murray Boles definitely got one of them. James Wade is right. James Wade got the other two. He got him and he he got his way out the game and he had one of the most epic ejections in the history of the NBA. Yeah, James Wade got two of the three technicals and got thrown out in the last minute of the game. We remember this, right, guys? Yeah. So, James Wade, Colin Roy Boils got the two two people that got the technicals in the Sacramento game. Good job, Wayne. Yeah. Of course, it was Coco Wade. How How can we not forget? I had to have him as one of the answers, right? Yeah. Yeah. So, it was James Wade and Colin Murray Boils was the answer for the technicals. That’s right. Last question of the day, guys. All right. And this is a good one. There’s a lot of names here, so get ready. Type it in quick because you can get one of these answers. There’s seven answers here, guys. Which seven Raptors played all six or all five of the Raptors summer league games? Which seven Raptors appeared in every single one of the Raptors summer league games this summer? There were seven Raptors that played in all five of the games. Who are those players that played in all five of the games? Jacobe Walter. Fiery is going to take Walter from the start. Fiercely’s got fast fingers. So, in some ways, that’s why she’s so good. She has fast fingers. Isaac, what are you doing with your half assassin? Not only that, you got one out of the three names. Come on now. Jamal shed. Uh uh Oh, wait. Wait. Oh, you’re fixing it. I see. You got Colin Murray Bo. Yeah, Isaac, you get Colin. Colin Murray Boils did not play all the games though. You’re wrong. He missed the first one. Remember Jamal Shed is right. Fiercely gonna get Jamal Shed. Jamal Shed is on here. Uh, let’s see. Logical St. Jamal shed. Good morning, Mike. Good to see you here. Wayne’s throwing a bunch of names on there. We don’t do half names. You got to do the full. Elijah Martin, you’re getting Elijah for this one. Mo, you got Elijah Martin on this one. You’re the first one to put Elijah Martin in. Aris Shamsh FY. Yeah, you can have Alish Shamsh. That’s right. He’s on here. Uh, let’s see. Jamal Shed. Yeah, me. No, I didn’t play all five games. Colin Castleton’s right. Randolph gonna get Colin Castleton here. Yeah, Colin Castleton did play all five ran uh games, that’s for sure. Uh Chucky Heburn. Yeah, Fiery, you’re right. It was Chucky. Chucky was there. All five games. That’s right. AJ Lawson. No, AJ didn’t play the last one, Mike. He sat out the last game and that was annoying. Trust me. There’s one more name on here you guys have not named that uh everybody. You got everybody else. You got six of the seven. There’s one more name of one person that played in all the summer league games for the Raptors that you have not named. Yeah, AJ missed the last one. Uh Colin Murray Boles missed the first one. And then there were a lot of other guys that missed a lot of them otherwise. So yeah, you got to remember who is the last name. You guys got Jacobe Walter, Jamal Shed, Elijah Martin, Rishamsheet, Chucky Heburn, and Colin Castleton. Who’s the last name? Jameson Battle. That’s right, Mike. Logical Raptors fanatic. Gonna get the last one. Jameson Battle was the last Raptor that played in all six games. There you go. James Battle. Yeah, good job y’all. You got the trivia. Good job. We got a lot of names on here. As I said, after the stream’s over today, I’ll uh add up the totals and I’ll put the totals for the Raptors Freak uh trivia standings currently up on the comments on the stream uh within 10 15 minutes of being off the air. So yeah, good job y’all. Was that fun, dude? We It’s an annual thing. Mon’nique knew I was going to do summer league for trivia. She just knows the pattern. She knows the pattern. This has been something that has happened. The summer league stats will be a trivia after summer league. That’s usually true is Yeah. Look at Adriana. She’s saying, “Good job, everybody. She’s number one, guys.” That’s right. Bask in the greatness of Adriana. Commissioner Adriana is the best. She’s the most benevolent and amazing commissioner ever in the history of trivia commissioning. That’s right. All right, let’s get on forward and forward into other things here. If you guys want to talk about trades, first of all, I want to talk about online sellers, guys. You know, online retails, you know, it’s Prime Amazon day or whatever sometime. I don’t even know when it is. I don’t care. I don’t participate. It’s really bad to buy from Amazon. It’s not very good to buy from Etsy either, guys. Actually, Yps is better worse than Amazon apparently. Looking at this thing here, Wayfair really bad clearly. Yeah, don’t buy from them either. If you guys want to buy from online retailers because it’s nice to get stuff to your house, well, I got some information for you on where you could buy more Canadian if you’re going to buy through online. the number one online retailer in Canada that is Canadian-owned and has a strong Canadian presence, but not all their products are Canadian, of course, because that’s just the nature of online retail is Indigo, guys. If you can buy things through Indigo, you’re actually supporting Canada best. I know they sell primarily books, but you would be surprised actually at what Indigo can sell you. So, that’s a online retailer that actually ranks really high on the Canada score. They got a nine out of 10 of supporting Canada. So, Indigo, buy from Indigo Books. Indigo is a fantastic place to buy from in Canada. Another great site if you’re going to buy online is well.ca. Well.ca is 100% Canadian. It was acquired by the firm Birill Equity Partners in September of last year. And yeah, I don’t know what they sell on there, but Well.ca CA may be a really good place to source online retail if you want to buy things through the computer. Forget about Amazon. [ __ ] Amazon. [ __ ] Jeff Bezos and his renting out Venice and Italy uh ass. No, go to well.ca or go to indigo.ca. Those are two pretty good places. Another place that you can buy online if you want to buy things online through retail is the home shopping network. No lie. Seriously, Rogers owns it. Unfortunately, King Edward owns it, but it is owned by Canadian company Rogers. So, in some ways, the Home Shopping Network is actually a good thing to buy through because it’s actually a Canadian company. So, there’s a couple of your choices. SS Sense is another one. Essence, uh, they’re out of Montreal. If you see Essence as an online retailer, they’re not bad also. So, yeah, a little bit of the straight goods on Canadian goods. If you’re buying online through retail sites, Indigo, let’s go. Well.ca. Two fantastic websites to buy stuff through. Yeah, two fantastic stuff. Two fantastic sites. That’s right. Uh Fiery saying, “Summerly was nice to watch. So much talent we have.” You know, it was great. It was a fantastic time. It was awesome. You know, the Raptors were really kind of one of the top teams at Summerly, but you wouldn’t know it by the coverage and the people. You know, our the broadcasters during when we were playing, they were very glowing. But overall, ESPN and uh sites and over overview of the summer league, they do not talk about us at all. But for some reason, ESPN has this proclivity to want to rank everything and grade everything and tear everything and all this [ __ ] What do you What is your deal, ESPN? Like, seriously, I get it. You’re trying to prescribe what the reality of the world is by uh making your own tears and grades and stuff to to garner perception to what you want it to be. There’s a lot of [ __ ] Like there’s an article on ESPN.com this morning, franchise shifting trades to draft disasters, roster mistakes for all 30 teams since 2020. Oh my gosh. and they’re trying to say that the Cavaliers have barely made any mistakes. They’re they’re the least mistaker team in the league, which is kind of [ __ ] The number one team with mistakes is according to them, the Dallas Mavericks, and that’s for trading Luca. Obviously, that makes sense. It’s number two on the list is Phoenix, and that is for trading for Kevin Durant, Bradley Beal. Yeah, these are huge mistakes. I’ll agree with that. Number three on the list is trading for Dame Lillard is the Milwaukee Bucks. Yeah, I can agree with that one. The fourth on the list is the Brooklyn Nets for trading for James Harden. Yeah, these all make sense. Number five is uh trading uh having Tyrese Hallebertton and De’aran Fox and then losing them both within the last three years is the biggest mistake that the Kings had. So those five are the worst franchises with the worst terrible trades that have happened. tier number one. The next tier, Atlanta is number seven or no, New Orleans is number seven for trading to get Deontay Murray. And then, uh, seven, uh, Atlanta also got, uh, seventh on this list for trading for G de Jante Murray. So, it’s like the same thing like Atlanta and New Orleans, both their mistakes was the same player on this list. Number six and seven. It’s crazy. Number eight is Memphis Grizzlies, and they’re saying their biggest mistake was trading for Marcus Smart. That’s ridiculous. What about No, I don’t even see. How do they know that’s a mistake? I don’t know. Anyway, they put the Raptors at number 11, just behind the Sixers, who they’re saying that the Sixers biggest mistake was uh committing $400 million to Paul George’s Joel Embiid last year, which is hilarious. But this is what they’re saying about us. We have the 11th worst biggest mistake in the NBA. That means top 15, worse than more than half of the league. And this so ambiguous and stupid and it’s honestly the dumbest thing that it keeps getting purported and dumb asses in Raptors Nation are going to parrot this [ __ ] Watch. The biggest mistake the Raptors made was repeatedly trading first round picks for role players in the last three years. And they’ve got a list. They say we messed up when we traded a 20th pick for Thaddius Young. Yeah, we heard that [ __ ] that noise. Thaddius was fine. And what was that pick? Malachi Brandon. Okay, it’s not like that was in hindsight a huge deal that we traded a pick that became Malachi Brandon for Thaddius Young. Uh YaKob, of course, they’re saying that we messed up when we had to we kept YaKob and we lost the number eight pick which was Rob Dillingham. Oshai Baji Kelly trade. They’re saying that that was a mistake because that pick landed Isaiah Collier at number 29. Once again, they’re overvaluing new players coming in over players that are more established and further along. Brandon Ingram, they’re also saying that was a mistake, the Brandon Ingram trade because we sent a first round pick for Brandon Ingram. Yeah, it’s it’s crazy. This is what they’re saying. It’s not as if those picks have landed any can’t miss prospects, but the opportunity cost for Toronto is steep. That’s only y’all saying that. I mean, logical Raptors fanatic mindset will argue this. Like, what the [ __ ] are you saying? None of the players the Raptors acquired have boosted them into contention. You don’t know that yet, [ __ ] We haven’t seen Brandon play for us yet, so don’t even give me this [ __ ] Young, who joined the Raptors for their only postseason appearance since 2020, averaged 3.3 points and 14 minutes per game in those playoffs. Oh my gosh. Y’all are going to You can’t even give us one of them. You got to say just in general. Yeah. [ __ ] you ESPN and you stupid ass lists and grades and tears. You know, you don’t set the world in reality. You guys can write all the articles you want. You’re biased and you don’t look at us correctly. You never have. So, whatever. You can say all you want. Brandon Ingram hasn’t even showed up and shown what he’s going to do to push the needle. So, y’all are going to be eating Crow. And in some ways, I want bookmark this stupid ass article for halfway through the season when Brandon Ingram’s torching the whole league. and we’ll show you just how stupid your stupid ass uh article is. I’m so sick of ESPN. They’re so dumb and they’re they’re gaslighting like crazy on the Raptors. Don’t listen to ESPN Raptors fans. They don’t like us and they do not look at us correctly. They really really don’t. They really, really don’t. So, don’t listen to that [ __ ] Seriously. Yeah. Uh let’s see. Uh Smith saying, “Rest in peace to Malcolm Jamal Warner.” Yeah, I I did my uh thing for him before the trivia today. Kind of going over uh my feelings about his passing yesterday. It was really sad. Um uh let’s see who else we got. Uh Fiery saying Wayfair is so much expensive. Anyways, yeah, Wayfair. I don’t know. I don’t shop online. You know, I want to tell you guys about something that’s going on in this world that you may not know about. You know, this predatory pricing online. You know, if you go to a store and you see a TV on the counter, the price is going to be the same for everybody, right? Because it’s on the label and you’re going to walk in and see that. But when you do online shopping, your prices can be different than somebody else that’s not that far from you. They are predatory pricing. And in some ways, they may set the prices online different for different people. Some people may get different prices depending on where they live, if their neighborhood’s more expensive. you. They may geollocate you to where you live and they may jack up the price for a TV that may be less in another area of town. They may also be watching your spending habits and seeing how much you spend on certain things with disposable income. And they’ll jack up the price to the limit. They call it the pain point of how much you will be willing to pay for stuff. It’s insiduous and it’s gross in some ways. That’s why I very rarely buy things online because they are changing the prices and they’re jacking them up on certain people and they’re paying attention to who can pay the most and they’re jacking it up on those people in particular. So, I would say go old school as much as possible. If you can go in person to a location and buy an item in person, you will avoid this predatory pricing which is a real issue. And if there was more regulatory bodies, which they’re gutting in the United States right now, there would be more safeguards for this practice against the public. So, just know it’s still way better to go in and talk to a salesman and haggle with them in person and see the label on the item that you’re buying than going online because you have no idea if they’re jacking up the price on you and they’re literally selling the same thing to somebody else for way less. It’s crazy. That’s why I don’t trust it. I don’t trust it at all. That’s right. I don’t trust it. Yeah. Mon’nique saying that trivia was too fast, but good. Yeah, you got some, Mo. You did good. You did good. Everybody got a couple there here and there. So, we’ll have to see. Fiercy’s fast fingers. Fiercy. That’s just how it is. She’s got And that’s just how she does it. In some way, she may have fast fingers from all kinds of different things she’s had to do in her life as far as I don’t know, her job or something. Who knows? Who knows? Yeah, Fiercy’s fast. Uh, let’s see. Uh, uh, she’s saying Indigo, the bookstore. Wow. Thanks, Lex. I didn’t know. Yeah, you’d be shocked what you might be able to buy at indigo.ca. And in some ways, you know, that’s kind of how Amazon started was they were like a book retailer. Seriously, in the beginning, Amazon didn’t sell everything. They sold certain things. And one of the main things was books. And well, let’s make Indigo more like I guess maybe not. Let’s not make it more like Amazon, but let’s understand that Indigo may be a very good alternative Canadian wise to buying from Amazon. Yeah, for sure. For sure. Yeah, FY saying, “Great job, Commissioner Adriana.” Yeah, she did really good. Thank you, Fiery. Yeah, Adriana’s awesome. I just feel really privileged and blessed that she’s interacting with me still and I appreciate her for it. Seriously, she’s a very kind, benevolent person in all kinds of aspects. Uh, Smith saying he got caught in a rip tide in Costa Rica drowning. Not sure if you already talked about this, Lex. I didn’t know it was a rip tide. I don’t have all the details on his passing. I do know that he was drunk. I do know that it was accidental. I know it was a drowning, but I didn’t know it was a rip tide and he was off the the coast of Costa Rica. Man, I hate this man. He’s 56 years old. Way too soon. Way, way too soon. Mike’s here. You’re going to see Logical Raptors fanatic jumping in there. I saw a funny meme. They had the five grown-ups from the movie Grown-Ups, too. And below they had Beal, CP3, Kawhi Harden, Brook Lopez, Laugh Out Loud. Yeah, that’s pretty funny. I mean, seriously, they are older. Their age pyramid on the Clippers is old, old old. Very, very old team at this point. Yeah, it’ll be interesting to see how hurt they are and how much they lose. You know, Mon’nique and I would joke about the retirement home. Well, the retirement home was in Miami a couple years ago and now it’s out in LA and it’s in the Inuit dome. Good thing they have a lot of bathrooms just in case there’s incontinents. Yeah. Ah, see more saying, “Damn, I thought he died in his sleep.” Wow. Sad, man. That is sad. That’s very, very sad. I hate it. I hate it so much. you know what an amazing life and what what what kind of things he went through in different places. I mean that it had to be hard for all the old cast members of the Cosby show going through the ordeal that Bill Cosby went through legally with his reprehensible crimes. It must have been really really hard for Felicia Rashad and um uh Rudy and Tempest Bledsoe and Lisa Benet and Malcolm Jamal Warner Elvin, you know, Sandra, you know, everybody was on that show. Uh Dudley, you know, oh my gosh, because like, you know, that show was so important and so big in their lives and like it was very much an economic driver even in syndication. But when Bill Cosby got in trouble, that kind of that cash cow went away in some ways. They had to adjust to that. Man, it is crazy, man. Seor saying Yonis the fourth Yogic brother is all in with Denver. Yeah, he’s saying this. It’s annoying, man. I get it. In some ways, like once again, my stance on this once up a front that nobody ain’t got no problem with that country. They’re going to do everything they can to fix that. And that the way they so loudly that oh no, Jonas wants to be here for sure and they’re putting out so many articles about it, it just shows just how desperate they are to close the narrative of why he doesn’t want to play for the Nuggets. Is that like they’re going to counter counter to counteract it with more propaganda? No, he’s happy being in America, this [ __ ] up Trump country. No, it’s not true. He’s just got to say it because the money and they’re strong aring him to stay. I don’t believe this. I still don’t believe this. The man’s too smart and he’s he’s he’s a nice guy. He’s just saying it. Like these are the comments. Exactly. He said, “I want to clear the air about my playing situation next season now that Denver has made their decision to keep me.” See, that’s not his decision. He’s even saying it right there. That’s not He didn’t have a choice. Is that they’re not releasing him to go to Denver. I mean, to go to Greece. If they were releasing him, he’d go. He’s saying this. This is the This is exactly what Valentuna said yesterday. I I want to clear the air about my playing situation next season now that Denver has made their decision to keep me. They’re choosing to say, “No, you’re not allowed to go and we’re not going to allow you to go.” And well, that’s their decision. He didn’t make the decision. If he made the decision, he’d leave. Seriously, right now. The idea of playing for Pantheios closer to home was very exciting to me. That sounds like he wanted to do that, but that will have to wait. Uh, I am fully committed to honoring my contract with the Nuggets this season and will give it my all to compete for a championship. See, he’s just being a good citizen. But the you can read between the lines right there. It was very exciting to go play for Greece, but it will have to wait. And Denver made their decision. He didn’t make the decision. He’s legally under contract and Denver didn’t want to let him out of it and that in some ways that’s it right there. But he’s fully committed to trying his best because he’s a pro. So yeah, I mean once again I [ __ ] you Denver Nuggets. I’ll say that over again. [ __ ] you Denver Nuggets for not releasing that man and letting him go home. Seriously, I almost stand on that every single time. Seriously, he didn’t want to be there. They’re making him be there. Uh, Mike’s saying, “Tell the Luca trade was bad.” When Luca actually does something on the Lakers, tell the Luca trade was bad. It is a bad trade. It is a bad trade. I mean, look, the whole thing is just bad. Mike, you had weird defending the Luca trade last year. And I don’t I don’t get it. I don’t know why. It’s a It was a strong armed move by Adam Silver, forcing the Mavericks to trade Luca to uh LA and uh to shake up the league and get more interest because ratings were down. And then they try to compensate the Mavericks by giving them the number one pick in Cooper Flag. I mean, it’s easy to see this. It’s so stupid that uh you know, now ESPN’s blaming Dallas for making the worst trade in the world. Well, they were forced to by the NBA. And I know you don’t agree with me on this, Mike, but I believe this is true. And I mean, everybody can put this together. It’s too convenient the whole way this all worked out. In some ways, the NBA just looks more rigged because of Luca Donuch in general. Luca Donuch made the league look rigged. Let’s just put it that way. That’s what it looks like to me. Fierce saying, “I grew up on the Cosby Show. Thursdays were epic. Cosby Show, Family Ties, Cheers, and Nightcourt. Rest in peace, Dio.” Yeah, that was the lineup, wasn’t it? That was the lineup. Uh, you had the Cosby Show with the Huxables and then you had Family Ties with the Katons and then you had Cheers with Sam Malone and then you had Night Court with Harry the Judge Harry. Yeah, there. Yeah, that was man. NBC Thursday nights juggernaut sitcom ratings out the wazoo. Hello everybody watching that Thursday lineup. That’s for sure MJ. That’s right. That’s right. Uh, Smooth saying Chris Paul resigned with the Clippers. This t that team is very old. Wow. Yeah, very, very old. Let’s see if they got one more try. This could be some sort of weird movie. The old guys, we only got one more in the tank. James, we better go for it. Kawaii, now we’ve got Bradley and Chris with us and Brook Lopez. We’re gonna go for it. It’s the only It’s now or never. We’re gonna be old soon. We’re so old. I mean, it could be kind of an interesting uh movie like that. Seymour saying Nightcourt was hard, not gonna lie. Yeah. You You know, Bull Shannon, the Baiff Bull, Richard Maul, very, very tall. Interesting man. Bald. Yeah. And then the other baiff, Marsha Warfield. Woo. You didn’t mess with Marsha Warfield. No, no, no, no, no. She set people straight with just a look. Just a look. She’d be messing people up in there, you know? Yeah. Marshia Warfield. You remember her? That’s right. That’s right. Mike’s saying, “Uh, the THAAD trade was a 10 spot move back. We picked Koko.” Shaking my head. No, they’re going to spin it any which way. And Raptors fans that kind of don’t really like the Raptors are going to take it and tear us apart from within our fan nation. What is wrong with y’all? Raptors nation, you love your team or not? Why are you so picky? Why are you so stupid? Let’s go look at them real quick on Reddit. They’re weird right now. Here we go. first on Reddit. They’re saying Valenunis confirms he’ll play for the Nuggets next year. There you go. Uh here we go. This guy here. All right, this is stupid, man. This Why do people write this on Reddit? All right, let me read this. Next year, I predict uh Okay, Scotty Barnes will have an okay season, but not to you guys’ standards and his whole fan club will become his haters. His defense will be good though. BI will do BI things, but will end up being injured 20% of the games. I believe he will put up some pretty good numbers next to the guy I’m going to talk about next. RJ will have his best statistical season this year. He will be better on defense, which will captivate some of his believers. And his offense will add a much needed scoring punch next to BI. IQ is really hard to figure out. He may have a good season. He may have a bad one. I just don’t know. Some of you crazy fans expect him to be a coming to Tyrese Maxi. I knew that wasn’t ever going to happen. I think he’ll have a productive 17 on 43% field goals. Yak is going to be Yak reliable. Are we going to make the playoffs? I think so. [ __ ] Tyresese Maxi. Emanuel Quickley. He’s gonna be that. You just wait, idiot. Emanuel Quickley had his most injured season ever last year. And when he gets right, he’s gonna be right. I don’t like half what this guy’s saying. Why do people even write this stuff? It’s stupid. Like seriously, why do you want to predict stupid stuff like that? It’s so dumb. So, so dumb. Uh, here’s another one on Raptors Reddit. What would the starting five have to achieve to not be considered having bad contracts? Are these even Raptors fans on Raptors Reddit? Who the [ __ ] is coming in here writing all this [ __ ] Knicks fan, Celtics fan, Sixers fan, other fan, hater fan, United States fan, hockey fan. Who the [ __ ] is in here on Raptors Reddit? Seriously, who is in here? That’s right. Here we go. Here’s another one. NBA front office rankings. Oklahoma City is on top. Lakers and Mavericks are on the bottom. Are on the bottom. Where’s the Raptors? Where did y’all rank the Raptors? Let me see. They got All right. Oklahoma City number one, Boston number two, and San Antonio number three, Rockets number four, Cleveland number five, Knicks number six. Don’t give me Knicks at number six. That’s some [ __ ] Where are the Raptors? Where are the Raptors? And are you ranking us lower because Messiah left? Let me just see. Oh, wow. We are dropping. Uhhuh. We’re way down there. Wow. Golden State’s 14. You guys aren’t kissing Golden State’s ass like you normally do? Seriously. They put the Wizards at 18 and we’re below them. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Lakers at 22 and we’re below them. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. CBS Sports, you are wrong, wrong, wrong. 24 for the Bucks. 25. They put us in 25. We dropped from 15 to 25 since February is what here. Oh my gosh. And they’re saying Toronto’s February ranking gave too much credit to Messiah Eugi’s earlier track record and not enough to how weird things have gotten since the Raptors won their championship. Oh my gosh, these [ __ ] man. These [ __ ] Other than drafting Scotty, what exactly has gone right for the Raptors since then? Oh my gosh. And he’s saying it’s not a surprise that Majiri was relieved of his duties after June’s draft. There have been some small wins recently. You know what you don’t if you don’t understand why Messiah Yujiri was let go. You don’t need to be [ __ ] talking about it. CBS Sports, man. I can’t stand people ranking. They say we’re the 20 25th 23rd worst front 25th worst off front office in the league now. Holy crap. Holy crap. That is so crazy. I can’t believe this, man. You know, in some ways it’s like whatever, man. You know, they This is what happens when Messiah leaves. All the respect for our team goes out the window with the general media. there. It really is [ __ ] Don’t listen to these people. Seriously. Somebody here on Raptor Reddit saying, “RJ Barrett needs to be on fully unlocked if we’re not trading him.” Oh my gosh. Who are you people? You don’t need to be making no no demands or nothing. Y’all don’t y’all aren’t like this. All right. Seriously, y’all don’t need to be making demands. Raptors nation, you idiots. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. All right. Enough looking at Raptors Reddit for today. Holy crap. Holy crap. James is saying, “Chances are very low to draft the Ingram level talent with the pick we traded for. That trade is a in my book.” It’s all perception. And once again, they can’t look at things that haven’t been sorted out yet, that haven’t been determined. Go ahead and say that trade was bad. We don’t know. Brandon Ingram had showed up. Golly, I don’t understand these people. That’s right. If anything, we fleece them. We’ll have to see. We’ll have to see what happens. Uh Mike’s saying the Lakers trade three seconds for Darien Finny Smith and then he walks like less than a season later for nothing. That’s bad moves. Yeah. Yeah. They’re not being honest about the Knicks or the uh the uh the Lakers or other teams, the Sixers. Seriously, they’re not being honest on that, man. They’re not being honest on any of that, man. Smith saying, “Lex, you’re very wise, brother. The online shopping, I did not know that.” Hey, this is why I’m trying to help you guys, Reggie, because honestly, I want us to support our country better. And the more we give out information about what is Canadian, what isn’t, the better we can do this. I would say in general, it’s better to stay away from big corporations in general if you can. But if you are going to buy from big corporations, buy from big Canadian corporations. Now, I avoid Loblaws like the play. So if you can avoid loblas as one big huge Canadian corporation that’s doing a good job. That’s doing a good job. Yeah. Wayne saying is there basketball playing in Europe? There is something coming up very soon. There’s a Euro League championship and it’s between countries and some of our players like Yaka Purle are going to Austria to suit up for the Austrian team and play in this thing. And I’m going to incorporate this into my streams when these events happen. We’ll definitely be covering it and talking about it. So, yeah, there may be a watch party for watching YaKob in international play. We’ll have to find out which ones of our Raptors may be involved in this tournament coming up. Even our former Raptors, Jonas is supposed to be playing, too. And uh I’ll let you guys know exactly when this is all going down and who’s involved. And maybe we’ll even be able to watch it on Discord with each other, too. So, yeah, there is basketball playing in Europe. There’s some sort of tournament coming up and people are coming to represent their countries in it. So, we’ll have to see which international players are going to be there. Sanju Mamu, I don’t know. I don’t think Georgia’s playing, but maybe they are. Who knows? Mo saying Mamu made it out to the Blue Jays game. Let’s do the Instagram story since Monnique has brought this up. That’s right. Sandro Mamu was at the Blue Jays game last night. First, we got Norman Palushing his bags to the airport to get to Miami. There’s Norman with the big huge bag. Will you don’t let make somebody else push your bags, man? Seriously, you’re a big NBA star. He’s pushing his own bags. That just shows how humble he is. He’s understand the grind of pushing his own bags. There you go. Norman in the trenches. Rise and grind every day. That’s right. Grady Dick has got uh Kansas people on blast. It was a Kansas uh uh alumni team was playing recently and they won 59 to 57. Very, very close game. JHX versus Purple Rain. And uh Grady’s all about it. He was all about his uh Kansas alumni. There he is with Jaylen Wilson in his Instagram pictures. Two uh Jay-Hawks uh hanging out together in the offseason. Elijah Martin’s on his phone. He’s listening to Morgan Wallen. He likes some Morgan Wallen. He likes a diversity of different kinds of music. There’s a great picture of him posterizing somebody at summer league. And there he got a new tattoo, guys, on his leg of his dog’s face and the dog’s paw print. It’s pretty cute. So yeah, there is dog in him. He’s got a dog tattoo on there. There’s Demar De Rozan smiling and hugging a friend who’s wearing a comp 10 hoodie. So that’s always good to see. Dear is happy. I always want to see Dear in a good mood. That’s right. Colin Murray Boils is posting some uh hoops from where is that? That is uh Tommy Hoops. I don’t know what this is. It may be a camp or something like that, but Colin Roy Boles has somebody there that he want to put on blast at uh Tommy Hoops. I’m not sure who exactly. Lindsay Dun at the baseball game, much like Sandre Mamu. Uh Eric Smith’s putting his book on blast. We the Raptors is going to be coming out y’all in the fall. Check that out. Eric’s also up on a trail up on a mountain. Looks like he’s in a very, very nice local. Yeah. And also, guys, we got to say this. It’s SGA day uh is coming up, guys. August the 7th. They’re gonna have a a Canadian football game, CFL game, BC Lions versus Hamilton Tiger Cats on week 10, and it’s SGA day at the game. They’re going to celebrate Shay Giligious Alexander at the Hamilton Taiats game on August the 7th. So, you can come down there and I bet he’s going to be at the game with the trophy. Also, Jacobe Walter chilling in the hotel room at Vegas Summer League. his trainer taking the picture and posting it of him on the phone looking at his phone. He’s posting the Elijah Martin poster dunk also. And there he is in the ballroom working in the work and it’s with uh coach Leftwitch. Didn’t I get an and one right here? Yeah. With lewitch right up on him and uh in the in the wind casino ballroom there. Morris Peterson is celebrating a date on this day when he was playing for the Michigan State Spartans on July the 21st, 2020. 20 2024. No, that’s not right. 2024. That was long time ago. That was 2004. Yeah. Don’t put that 2204. That is July 21st, 2004. That’s a That’s a long time ago. There’s Oshai Abaji with his fiance Avery and the baby bump is showing and he’s holding it. And yeah, the happy couple is just radiant with joy and happiness. There is Orlando Robinson. He has signed with Orlando. Welcome to Orlando Robinson to the Magic. Orlando, welcome to Orlando. Yeah, it’s it’s it is what it is. I’m happy he got a team, but in some ways I was like, I wish it was us. I really do. Robinson gonna wear seven uh for the Magic. It looks like Robinson number seven. There’s a RJ Barrett at the Raptors Academy yesterday. It was just fantastic, man. Raptor R.J. Barrett coming in and being around the kids. Raptor’s development, Raptor’s basketball academy. And man, this is going to be memories for these kids forever. So cool. He made a hit half court shot. There he is. Some little kids guarding him. He gets past him. He throws it down with the left hand. Looks like those hoops are a little low though. That looked like that was so easy for him to just That might be a eight foot hoop. Like that’s so easy. There’s a There’s a crazy alleyoop by RJ2. Maybe it’s not. I don’t know. It’s hard to tell. It’s hard to tell. There he is dapping all the kids afterwards. That’s a wrap. Raptor’s basketball academy with RJ Barrett. Fantastic stuff. Memories made. Uh the Angolan uh Bruno Fernando is in the elevator looking like he’s in the Matrix, but also he’s with Serge Ibaka. That’s right. They’re in Brazil right now. Rio Serge is with Bruno Fernando. So pretty cool to see that. Sergey Ibaka, Bruno Fernando, former Raptors hanging out. Savannah Hamilton is just had so much fun at WNBA All-Star weekend. In fact, at one point, she put on the shoes and got on the court and was hooping, showing her skills from when she played for the TMU here in Toronto in in university because she was a university basketball player. And well, she’s got some skills. I see her with her layup and her shot. It’s nice for him. And yeah, that she also was interacting with Courtney Williams, which was pretty funny at All-Star weekend. Courtney Williams was enamored with Savannah Hamilton. Uh, let’s see. Uh, Scotty Barnes is down in Florida and he’s at a food truck and his friend is running a food truck called Island Buzz. So, if you He’s putting him on blast. He’s like, “Go get the eats. They’re good, my guy. Good eats.” Yeah. Go see Island Buzz down south out the food truck. He’s a friend of Scotty’s and he want to put him on blast on his Instagram story. Sergea is on the soccer field playing some soccer with a friend of his who’s probably a professional soccer player. And there he is with Bruno and those soccer guys, too. in that same picture that Bruno posted. And there’s Serge songs. Shaolin, check out Sergebaka and Melanie. The singles out on YouTube right now. Latest video and song for Serge Baka and his amazing musical career. Pascal Seakum is putting in the fitness on his Instagram. He’s lifting his weights and putting in that grind. Yeah, he’s got weights that have his symbol on it, guys. I’m looking at his weight room and they’ve got the PS heart on all these big huge weights. Wow. Seiakum really does have his own personalized PS stuff, but he won’t sell them to anybody else. You got this PS heart hats and shirts and weights, but why won’t you sell them to the people? He just makes them for himself. Also, he did the edtech engine with Google. That was what he was doing the other day with PS43 Foundation uh remotely through the computer with uh the the students here in Toronto. So, that’s good stuff. There’s Mamu at the Blue Jays game. Let’s get it Blue Jays. Sandra Mamu saying that and being really close to the field. Hope he had a good time. The Blue Jays won. I’ve heard that they won their 11th game at home in a row, which is kind of a record recently. That’s pretty good. Jameson Battle with a picture of him at summer league looking fierce. I think Jameson’s really embracing this dog thing he does with doing all these crazy faces. So, he’s into that. Coach Andrew Jones has got Ava Jones on blast. Ava be hooping. She’s doing the drills around the stuff. She’s getting taller. She’s very agile. She can’t stop. She can’t stop working. She just wants to continue to work. And then there’s a fun afterworkout picture of her in the car with uh with her glasses on, her heart glasses. Ava Jones is gonna be somebody. I’m telling you right now, I can tell I can tell she’s coming. She’s coming to play in the WNBA. There’s R.J.’s entrance to the Raptors basketball academy on Raptors official admin. Look at all the kids high-fiving them. So happy to see R.J. there. Yeah, just a great event. And what I’m telling you, man, this is gonna really shape some of these kids. It be like, man, that day I met R.J. and we got to play basketball. It was so special. There’s Toronto Tempo putting on blast a swag box that somebody got sent to them. So, very cool. They’re thanking the Toronto Tempo for a swag box. There’s the schedule for the games today on Can Canadian TV for WNBA if you want to watch it. Very, very cool. Slim Duck is putting uh this is a crazy podcast where these ladies saying there ain’t no good men out there and this guy says no there’s good men out there it’s just good these men don’t want you and that’s and some saying bro cook them. There’s your Instagram stories for today. Chris is still not on a team but he’s still watching Love Island. That’s for sure. That’s right. That’s what’s going on there. Yeah. Mamu at the Blue Jays game. Boom goes the dynamite. All right. Let’s see. Uh, Mike saying they have to fix the trade culture. There needs to be a trade bonus that players get that isn’t on the cap. Like a bonus payment based on their contract, like a percentage, maybe. Moving is tough. Yeah. I don’t know, man. It seems like it’s all screwed up. Freddy, you’re in charge now. You rep the players better as the president of the players association. Then CJ McCollum, hopefully you can fix some of this mess and help your friends like Precious and Chris and Gary out because the way this is. Yeah, Smith saying one year and out for JB. Yeah, the next year is he does have a second year on his contract, but it’s an option. And I don’t know if it’s a player option or a team option. It could be if it’s a player option, he’s gone. He’s gone. If it’s a team option, well, next year, are they going to strongarm and say you got to stay for another 10 million for another year? They might, if it’s a team option, they might strongarm him and say, “Yeah, you’re still not going to Greece next summer.” But if it’s a player option, I could see him taking it and leaving immediately after that. Yeah. Yeah, I could see that. Yeah. Uh Mike’s saying, “If Luca wins a lot on the Lakers, okay, it was bad.” I don’t know, though. Harden doesn’t work in my opinion. So, yeah, it’s based on Luca being overhyped in my opinion. I don’t know. I don’t even want to look at the whole situation. It’s so toxic. The Lakers are not going to do well. I know this for a fact. In some ways, the reason why the Mavericks traded Luca is real. He’s not gonna be a winning player in the end. Watch. There’s certain issues with him. And some of the stuff they’re saying is actually true. But still, this is crazy to do this to a fan nation to trade like such an important player like this. The Lakers are not going to win once LeBron leaves and Luca’s in charge. It’s not going to happen. There’s just too many issues. Now, the only way is if they buy a championship by doing it like the Dodgers. That’s the only way they’ll do it with a new ownership group. But otherwise, yeah, I don’t know. In some ways, it’s like Dallas and the Lakers are so toxic to me at this point because of the Luca thing that it’s a turnoff to me. And I don’t wish either of those team anything good. Seriously, I don’t want the Mavericks to do well for sure. And I don’t want the Lakers to do well either. Yeah, because it’s just toxic in general. Wayne saying, “Good point, Mo. It remain it reminded me to mention that we have spoken about Mamu coming here but we haven’t done a deep dive on how it transforms the bench regarding our productive active center. You know in some ways I don’t want to predict ahead of time in case I’m wrong what Sandro Mamu is going to bring to our team. I mean we can kind of forecast it from his Milwaukee and San Antonio parts of his career already. What he’s going to give us is a very active big that’s agile that gets up and down the court that hustles that gets after the ball and gets after rebounds. He’s likes to block shots. He’s very much into stealing the ball. He can also shoot the three. He’s, you know, he’s just an active player in some ways. He is a center, but he can move really well all over the place. So, I’m I’m excited to see how he fits. Of course, we’ll have to see how it all goes down, but in some ways, I I’m predicting big things for him. He’s gonna be very helpful for sure. Very, very, very helpful. Uh Fiery saying the maths ain’t math on these fake ass rankings. I I feel like they just want to just rank things and try and make a perception. And in some ways, it’s [ __ ] It makes me so mad. I mean, the fact that they ranked our franchise front office so low behind teams like Charlotte and the Lakers and all kinds of stuff, that’s a big huge red flag that they’re not they’re not giving us any credit. First of all, they didn’t look at our RA rookies from last year at all. Obviously, the people that we drafted last year, they didn’t look at our summer league performance at all in this ranking either. They really don’t look at anything other than the negative things they want to look at. So, in some ways, that’s to our benefit. will rise up and be better than they think. We’ll surprise them and we’ll kick everybody’s ass. And that’s how kind of we won the first championship. So that we’ll have to do it again. That’s right. Yeah, it’s trash. CBS Sports, ESPN all trash. Yep. Yep. Yep. Yep. Uh Adriana is saying that is screwed up. Yeah. Yeah, you’re right. I’m gonna give you a dunk. Thank you for u being the commissioner and also being right. Adriana, I just gave you you have 99 dunks. You got 102 now. You’re at 99. I gave you like a huge amount of dunks. Uh, all right. Let’s see. Mo San news and notes. Raptors basketball academy is happening all week. So, R.J.’s just the first person popping in. I would expect some of the assistant coaches to pop in. Maybe another player. We’ll have to see. Maybe some 905 guys will show up, but yeah, basketball academy is all weak. Uh, Raptors basketball academy. Uh, let’s see. Oh, they got the uh the preseason schedule up. Okay, I want to look at this. I saw that Portland’s was up recently, so I’m like, “Wait a second. Does that mean ours is up now, too? This is interesting.” All right, there it is. Michael Graange has put it up. We’ve got the preseason schedule. There’s two home dates. Okay, so Monday, October the 6, we’re going to be playing the Denver Nuggets at Rogers Arena in Vancouver. So, there’s a Vancouver game on the 6th of October for Vancouver Raptor Freaks. Mark that on your calendar. You can see the Raptors versus the Nuggets. And on October 6, Monday, uh 700 PM local time, 10 p.m. our time here on Wednesday the 8th, it will be at Sacramento, the Raptors will be playing the Sacramento Kings in their home arena. So, we’ll go there next. And then on the 10th, on the Friday, we’ll come back here, Scotia Bank Arena, and we’ll play the Celtics in the summer league at 7 PM. Sunday, October the 12th, we go to Washington to play the Wizards and their arena in the afternoon, the game will be at 3 p.m. in the afternoon on a Sunday, a October the 12th. Wednesday, October the 15th, which is my father’s birthday, and Yakob Purle’s birthday, we will go to Boston and play the Boston Celtics in their home arena. So, we’re playing Boston two games in the the preseason. And then on Friday, the 17th of October, we’re playing the Brooklyn Nets and Scotia Bank Arena uh for our final preseason game. So, there’s two games at Scotia Bank Arena for the Raptors in preseason. We’re going to play Boston on the 10th and uh the Nets on the 17th. They’re both Friday night games, 700 p.m. So, that’s pretty cool. Apparently, also the Raptors will be going to Calgary to hold their training camp this year at the University of Calgary on the week of September the 29th and open practice will be held on the October the 3 in Calgary. Then the Raptors will go to Vancouver for their preseason game against Denver. This is all according to Michael Graange of Sports Net. So yeah, there it is. There’s the Raptor preseason schedule, guys. We announced it just now live on the show in the last hour. It just came out while I was on the air. Fantastic stuff. That’s quite a few uh preseason games, guys. We’ve had less than this recent years. This is six games and we’ve had like four or five the last couple years. So, I like that we have more preseason games this year in some ways. That’s right. Good stuff. Good stuff. You see, Pascal is the closest thing to a Canadian without being a Canadian. So inspiring, man. Yeah. I mean, there’s a couple people that are like this. There’s a lot of people that came to Canada and just conformed and became Canadians. I mean, Messiah’s in this category, too, man. He really became very Canadian, too, in some ways. Fiercely saying, “NBA can Canada series Raptors versus Nuggets in Vancouver on Monday. Just got the email.” There you go. Breaking news right there. Mike saying, “Sandro spacing is key to get Mo and Colin Murray Bole’s minutes in my opinion. I hope it works.” Uh yeah, I mean I guess in some ways if we’re going to do certain lineups, we’re going to ha once again have to match the spacing, the defense and the offensive players and have them out on the court at the right time in the right mixes. That’s right. Khloe saying, “Looking at the Blue Jays, which are amazing amazing right now, it makes me less very slightly uh that Eddie Boy is the majority owner of the Raptors. Makes me less very slightly less. I don’t know what the word you’re missing in there is.” Uh, you mean you’re because the Jays are doing so well, you’re not as scared about Ed Rogers being in charge? That’s right. Yes. Less worried. Okay. You’re less worried. Slightly less worried. Okay. Uh Wayne saying, “Listen to CJ McCullum on first take years ago. He can speak, but there was no decisive philosophy behind his argument, just empty conversation. I wouldn’t want him negotiating for me.” I’ve never thought he was a I’ve never liked him. He’s disrespectful to the Raptors. He’s been disrespectful to us. He said some things publicly that I’m like, “Yeah, you’re an [ __ ] Screw this guy.” So, in some ways, I didn’t ever liked him being in charge of the players union because he doesn’t have respect for Toronto Raptors. Well, Fred does and the right person’s in there now. That’s right. That’s right. Koy saying, “Fans have been critical about uh Shinskins and Schneider, but lookie here, Jays are playing historical bas.” Yeah. I mean, this is good. This is good. We want to see progress with those other teams in some ways so that the it looks good for the Raptors, too. For sure. For sure. Mo saying, “We w Vibes. Go Raptors for life. Keep at it. Always Lex Raptor Freak crew strong forever.” Just helping me limit the comments. I appreciate you, Mo, for doing that. Let me just go and look at the WNBA games. We’re back from the All-Star break and we got uh five games on the the list today. The Sparks are at the Mystics and Tiara Cruz is the crew chief with Tony Patio and Gerta Gatling. Uh the Indiana is at New York. Eric Brutin with Kevin Fehee and Terresa Stuck. Chicago Sky at Minnesota Lyns. Fatu Sissoko Stevens is the crew chief with Ryan Ceano and Kelly Broomfield. Atlanta Dream versus Las Vegas Aces. Roy Gibben will head the team with Ashley Gloss and Agabazi. And then Dallas at Seattle, Isaac Barnett is the crew chief with Michael Price and Marcy Williams. Those are your refs for tonight’s WNBA. Get your WNBA fantasy team set up. We’re back at it tonight. And well, you want to get your points? Well, set your lineup, Kareem Thomas. That’s what I’m saying. Set your lineup. Make sure you do it right now. Make sure you don’t miss it. That’s right. Let’s see what else we got. We got a birthday today and it’s the original Raptor scorer. First time, first person to ever score a basket in an NBA game for the Toronto Raptors, Alvin Robertson. Happy birthday, Alvin Robertson. He is 63 today. 63rd birthday of Alvin Robertson. One of the few people in the NBA who’s ever gotten a quadruple double. Yeah. So, happy birthday, Alvin. Even though you’re a bit of a a problematic person in some ways. Some people say, “Why isn’t Alvin Robertson in the Hall of Fame?” There’s like a whole list of people that aren’t in the Hall of Fame. They’re like, “Why isn’t this person in the Hall of Fame?” Well, because they’re not a Hall of Famer. A lot of them. You know, Rasheed Wallace is not in the Hall of Fame because he is a problem player like with his attitude and his technicals. And he said a lot of things since he’s retired about the NBA being fixed and Tim Donnie. So, like people wonder why Rashid Wallace isn’t in the NBA Hall of Fame. Well, it’s because he’s said a lot of things since he quit playing. That’s why. Alvin Robertson. Well, he’s been in and out of prison for uh battery and different crimes that are not very good. Let’s just put it that way. So, happy birthday, Alvin Robertson. Either way, 63 years old today. You are a part of Raptors history no matter what. The first person to ever score a Raptors basket, a three-point shot in the first game ever against the New Jersey Nets at Skyome. Alvin Robertson, happy birthday to you, sir. There you go. There you go. Boom goes the dynamite on that. All right, I guess we got to do the classic card. That’s the next thing on the list here. Mike saying Larry Tannen versus CJ on that CBA, but owners were peed from the Ped peed. What is PD? What are you doing from the trade demands and the players sitting? So, they came for blood. Okay, so there’s different kind of like what? Okay, so you’re saying it was Larry versus CJ? Uh man, that’s not the issue here. You know, the owners make concessions on the ceiling for how high people could get paid, but they didn’t the the the CJ McCollum didn’t think about the middle class. He didn’t even think about himself to a degree. He thought a lot about people like SGA, Jason Tatum, Scotty Barnes, players at that level, but he didn’t think about the people in the middle at all. He was stupid and he he didn’t really negotiate things correctly for the bulk of who he represents. He really represented the top really well, but he didn’t represent anybody else that well. And I don’t know, the owners out of blood or whatever. What are you saying? Yeah, I don’t like to think about it all that way. I mean, the the players just like in the WNBA need to get their fair share. The owners need to pony up and stop being uh frugal [ __ ] and uh greedy ass [ __ ] Let’s just put it that way. I show speed is here. Oh, wow. Raptors fans want Austin Reeves. No, no, no. We don’t want Austin Reeves. We have Grady Dick. We don’t need no Austin Reeves. We got Grady Dick. Yeah, we don’t need that. No, sorry. We don’t. We don’t. Koy’s got that one already taken care of. I see that. We like two-way players. That’s right. We do. I should be saying Raptors are fighting for Desmond Bane. Nah, he’s already found his place. He’s in U Orlando. He got traded there. I feel like the Magic paid too much for him. Like seriously, what was that price? It’s like how many first round picks? That’s crazy. Orlando Magic, you got fleeced on Desmond Bane. Desmond Bane’s an interesting player, but isn’t he really kind of what you already have? You have Jaylen Suggs. You have other people that are just like him, undersized shooting guards that uh, you know, are toughminded maybe. Yeah, I don’t know. We, you know, Desmond Bane on the Raptors would be okay because he’s best friends with Darko and that man would run through a couple walls for Darko Rayakovich. He loves Coach Darko. Desmond Bane. Oh yeah, they’re like this. They’re like this. So I wouldn’t be upset if Desmond Bane was on the Raptors. Unlike Austin Reeves, who’s a total farce, and I want Austin Reeves on the Raptors, but yeah, Desmond Bane. Yeah, he would be a good fit just because of his prior working relationship with our coach. Yeah, but he’s he’s he’s the new toy in Orlando. He’s not going anywhere. We’re not trying to get him. Uh Kareem saying, “We don’t speak about Walt Williams enough.” I will get behind that. Walt the wizard Williams. Sure, we’re gonna have to talk about Walt Williams more. Maybe there needs to be a trivia on Walt Williams soon. I don’t think I’ve done Walt Williams. So, maybe I will do a classic Jurassic on Walt Williams since you brought it up. Don’t dare me on that. I will. Uh Wayne’s saying, “I don’t agree that different teams under a conglomerate transfers each other’s fortunes. Like families, they’re our favorites.” Yes. And that’s what Wayne’s saying here. It’s like, and that’s his counterpoint to Cloy saying, “Well, the Jays are doing well. That gives me hope that things will be okay for the Raptors.” Well, yeah, we know that the Leafs are the doted son in some ways, but are the Jays now more doted in some ways because Rogers has his name on the building where they play and that’s historically the team he’s owned? I don’t know. In some ways, I don’t like the way things are sorting out and the place of things with the raptors getting the shaft and what that’s why I say Messiah was always the one fighting for our respect in every single spot to make sure that we have our respect kept in different ways. And there’s Bobb’s just going to have to try and run the team. Nobody’s doing that job anymore to ensure respect for our team because Messiah’s gone. And Bobby’s got to run the team. And in some ways he’s doing a lot of stuff that Messiah was doing and he’s overburdened. He can’t be quality control for respect around our team anymore as far as that was what Messiah was doing. And one of the things that was really good about our brand and enhancing it, but Ed Rogers and Keith Py don’t realize that they don’t care. In some ways, they do want us to be bad. Watch. We’ll have to see. We’ll have to see. In some ways, we may have to be successful despite their [ __ ] Honestly, Mike saying, “Larry T was the head of the Gorda governors. CJ was the head of the NBA player assoc association.” So the they were the parties to decide the CBA with the lawyers. Pissed. I don’t know if that was blocked. Yeah, Mike, you do shorthand vernacular because you’re like an online dude that I don’t do because I’m old guy and I don’t I’m not online dude. So there’s a lot of short and form things like your l and things like that are just weird to me, man. They’re weird to me. So um yeah. Pissed. You’re saying that he was pissed? I don’t know. Some ways that’s all been done in water in the bridge. I don’t know who negotiated what. I don’t know if Larry was actually totally the person who’s in charge of that. We got to remember he’s been a lame duck the last couple years because in some ways he’s a lame duck. He’s not going to be around very much longer in the power structure of the NBA for the owners as a board of governors or all that kind of stuff. I don’t know how much more he’s going to be doing this. This may have been his last harrah this summer and going and doing that. So, I don’t know. So, I would say that um it’s a it’s a front. It’s the whole front of them, not just one guy. Larry may be the the singular chairman, but I’m sure that the other owners were very vocal with the lawyers and doing their part of talking and pushing and maybe they were more like that. I don’t know. I don’t know. Switch saying Walt Williams played one season for the Raptors in 97. I remember him. He played more than one season. I’m pretty sure he was like a season and a half at least, if not a little bit more. Yeah, I think he played more than one season. He was a Raptor for a while. Yeah, we got him from the Kings. Uh or did we get him from the Pel? We got him from Portland. I believe we traded uh Al uh he got we got him with Alvin when we traded Starttomire. I’m pretty sure that’s how we got him. Or was he on the team with Starttomire or did he get traded with Starttomire to Portland? That might be it. I don’t remember exactly exactly exactly how it all went down with the wizard Walt Williams, but we’ll sort it out. Maybe these will be trivia questions at some point. All right, let’s do the classic card. Let’s do the classic card. We’re at an hour and a half and uh we’re going to get done on time today. So, this is good. Oh, yeah. Let’s do this. This is stupid. Why not? It’s funny because this is the card I pulled, y’all. No joke. Seriously, I don’t know how this happened. There must be some sort of weird like energy in the world that I’m around or something. But yeah, here’s the car of the day. Ah, full name answer, please. Come on now, y’all. If you don’t get this right away, come on now. What are we even doing? Uh, Fiercy, what did you do? Yeah, okay, you got it. CJ McCullum is the card of the day. We speak of him and here he is. It’s like seriously the first card I touched. I did not set that up or anything. This is weird, man. It’s so weird when this happens. This is a 50 point card. Fiercy, this isn’t this isn’t like that inh. But yeah, CJ, what did you do to the your fellow NBA players when you did that? Yeah. Yeah. CJ is the card of the day. Should I rip him up? No, he’s not even worth it. In some ways, the man’s on the Wizards. He’s He’s gonna get punished enough, right? That’s so weird that this is the card of the day after talking about him so much just now. That’s crazy. All right. Fiercy Salsera 50 points. CJ McCollum. That is so weird. We were talking about him and boom, he appears. What is this? Beetlejuice. Seriously, it’s crazy. Fiery, you haven’t gotten a classic card in a while. This is your first one in quite a bit, actually. Let me see. When’s the last one you got one? Yeah, Fiery, you haven’t gotten one in like a month. The last one you got was in uh June. It was Jamal Murray. Interesting. I can go back and look because of the spreadsheet I’ve got. So 50 points to Fiercy Salah. There you go. All right. Mike’s saying this. It’s been reported Larry was big on the structure outcome. Teams will spend more because they believe they can win with parody instead of two or three teams overspending and others not trying and not spending. I don’t want to get too deep in the weeds on this right now. Honestly, I really don’t. Kareem saying, “Firsty completely halfassed. That’s a a 0.05 card.” Well, it’s a 50 point card. We’re gonna give 50 points for that card. Yeah. Yeah. She She didn’t really halfass it. She wrote in the name wrong at first. She wrote DJ McCullum and then fixed it with CJ. That so there was a the president if she corrects the autocorrect that’s wrong and she gets it in there. I know you’re right after her, but you I don’t know. Adriana, are you still here? Do you want to adjudicate on the classic card? There’s a little bit of a dispute here. Kareem Thomas is saying that he might have the classic card. Although he didn’t spell that last name right, but I’m saying Fiery. I think Fierce got it because she fixed the DJ to CJ right immediately afterwards. That’s what I say right there. I don’t know. Kareem’s disputing it. We’ll have to see. I don’t know if she’s still here. Oh, yep. Sorry, girl power. Sorry, Kareem. No, no, you don’t want the points. Okay. Okay. Okay. Wayne saying, “The universe is real. Lexicon, do good at all times.” Ah, yeah. Seriously. Seriously. I mean, the signs are coming. Sorry. Girl power. That’s right. girl power saying, “I like the parody all around. They may need to dial down paying that much for a single player, but hey, look at the Raptor situation if they we somehow have a top four roster at this price.” Yeah. Yeah. We’ll have to see. Honestly, everybody’s just too quick to try and sully and pull us down and say we’re not this, we’re not that. But you know what? We’re going to be a lot this year and then we’re going to open some eyes. I truly do have a lot of confidence in this team. Yeah. And one, it’s one thing to get into perception and like talk about this is this and this is this and let ESPN try and write the story, but seriously, Raptors fans, watch the team for yourself and go by what you see because they’re not watching like we are. So, how the hell are they going to be a better expert on the Raptors than we are? I know damn for sure. I’ve been watching this team very closely for 30 years and I’m going to know this team way better than uh Kevin Pelton or Mark Cra or whatever the guy name is. Uh Cra guy who made that list and stuff like that. No, believe your own two eyes. Don’t let sports writers and media personalities tell you what to see and what you to think. That’s the thing. And it’s the same for politics, too. Don’t let the mainstream media tell you what to think on big issues and things that are happening right now. They’re are not for us. They are controlled by corporations and billionaires and they have a message they want us to believe. So believe with your own two eyes. Watch the history and the things that are happening around us and document them yourself because they may try and spin it and water it down to make it not as bad. And that’s how you get [ __ ] faces like Trump and what’s happening right now. So yeah, don’t believe your own believe your own eyes and what you see and stop letting other people tell you what to see because that’s what’s happening right now. They’re telling a lot of people that this is what you should see. You can believe them and follow them if you want, but you don’t. You don’t have to. Seriously. Koy saying we paid a good amount for future potential. If you somehow wait for that potential to bloom without paying, you will pay a lot higher. Calculated risks facts. We’ll just have to see what happens with our young crop. I’m very happy with summer league. I felt like that whole point of today doing the stats and going over it. Colin Murray Boles look real good. All Rashamp Shay made jumps. I’m really happy with the players that the Raptors have. And once again, Raptors nation understand that the crop of young players grow into value. And the Oklahoma City Thunder are a good example of this. And we will be doing this. We got young players that are going to get better and better and they’re going to grow into more value. We have so many of them all what they each individually contribute to the greater pie of the whole thing is going to be a bush up the standings for the Raptors. So just realize Grady Dick he does his work does a certain amount. Jacobe Walter, Colin Murray Boils, Jamal Shed, Aris Shamsh, they all add in Scotty Barnes, they all add in the work that they did this summer to get better and the team is better overall because of that. So, I expect this from this team. These are young players that are getting better faster than older players and in certain ways. They’re going to have more to add to more and become more because they’re just at the bottom of their their young careers and they have more to add. Jamal Shed has more to add. Jameson Battle hopefully has more to add. You know, this is what we’re saying here. Even Brandon Ingram showing up. We’re going to see what happens. That’s right. Quickly last year 16% of the cap and he’s in his prime prime. You know, anybody who’s doubting Emanuel Quickley, you’re going to be, you know, once again, if you doubt R.J., you doubt Emanuel, you doubt Scotty, you doubt Brandon, you doubt YaKob, you doubt Grady, you doubt any of them, you just stop. You’re going to see them. They’re coming this year. We got our preseason schedule now. Something to look forward to. I’m gonna put it on the calendar now. Yeah. Just stop. Just let them show up and let’s see where they are. That’s right. All right, y’all. Thanks for watching the Rapid Freak stream today. I appreciate everybody doing trivia with me today. It was fun. And thank you so much, Adriana, for being the commissioner today, girl power. And uh I hope you guys just have a fantastic Tuesday. And I’ll be back tomorrow for WOW Wednesday. We’ll find out what the subject is. I might just do the preseason schedule a little bit more deeper look at it. Wow, it’s the Raptors preseason schedule and do a whole little bit more deeper on the things that are coming from that. That’s right. Rand saying, “Blessings, beloved Raptor Freaks family. Do not allow yourself to be manipulated by those whose intentions is self and care less about helping people. Uh uh keep doing good. There you go. I like that. Keep doing good. This is a pretty general uh word of wisdom from Randolph these days is saying you got power in your life to do good and put it out in the world and do more of that because that’s what this world needs more of. be the example in the microtransactions and our microtransactions will add up to amazing beautiful things around the world. When you you’re right and you’re just and you’re good to humankind, the natural world, the trees, the plants, the animals, the birds, the insects, we’re all in this together. We’re all part of one big organism called Earth. And uh the fact that man has forgotten this is biggest problem in the world, honestly. So, we got to get more in tune with nature because nature is the natural way and is what the creator made for us to live in in not the fake world we make around us that’s full of a lot of foibless and problems. Thank you, Randolph. I appreciate that. Yeah, that’s going to be value. That’s right. Cass, you have a good day. Also, wream, I appreciate you guys. You guys are awesome. Let’s go Raptors. I’ll see you guys tomorrow. Wow. Wednesday, 9:30 a.m. first thing in the morning. You know, I’ll be there.
