NBA History Lesson – Sim Bhullar #shorts
Simbul was born in Toronto but moved to the United States during high school to play basketball. The 7 foot5 youngster averaged nearly a triple double in points, rebounds, and blocks. He first signed with Xavier, but switched to New Mexico State and had to sit out a year to get his eligibility in order. He spent two seasons with the Aggies, averaging 10.2 points, 7.2 rebounds, and three blocks a night. Bular jumped to the NBA but wasn’t selected in the 2014 draft. After an impressive summer league with the Kings, he had a great D-League campaign, making the league’s all rookie and all defensive teams. Bular also played in three NBA games with Sacramento that year, becoming the first player of Indian descent to play in the NBA. He’s also tied for the sixth tallest player in NBA history.
