Raptors making a Comeback | July 21 NBL Recaps
Hello and welcome to the National Baseball League. Yep. This is yesterday games. It’s almost this is July 21st games. It’s almost July 23rd. I know it’s late. I I had a lazy day. I want I want to have more days where I’m like productive in the morning and then I have the entire afternoon for free and make another video and then I have the evening to do game and I have the night to either work continue to work on that game. Yeah, I want to get better at what I do. I got about a month left or I don’t have to be in school 29 and 30 days I got I got to go back there. We’re not going to talk about that. We’re going to talk about the National Baseball League. Here’s the first of a two of a two board set for yesterday’s games. Here’s a good oldfashioned 15 game day, which is pretty common in baseball. So, we start with the Vanc Grizzlies and the Edmonton Eagles first final with three game series yesterday. The Eagles and Grizzlies finished up pretty close to one, but the Grizzlies they won’t get that lead. They hold on to win five to four over the Vancouver Grizzlies. So, so the Edmonton Eagles avoid the sweep as the Grizzlies took the first two. Good job. Five runs on all the hits, no errors. Four runs for the for the Grizzlies. They tried their best, but they couldn’t get the sweep. They had a really good series overall though. Good job Vancouver. Good job for Edmonton for avoiding the sweep. Alb, the aliens at the San Francisco Fires. So, Albuquerque pretty close one, but Albert Albuquerque comes on top. They win the third of a four game series. They’re going to win the series. Now, can they swing the fireworks to today? That is the question. You will find out what happened tomorrow. So, the aliens win 4 to three on nine hits. They got on base more, but they didn’t they didn’t bring as many runs home. You have to bring the runs home for them to help you like consistent hits, multiple hits. You got to be able your team has to be good at that offensively. And the Thunder Birds couldn’t couldn’t do it. Aliens win 4 to three. And to the secondary game series between the Montreal Expose and the Watch the Washington Monuments. So Montreal takes game one of the series the then back for game two. Washington takes takes it with a 3-1 win on the road and they held the Expos to just one run and nine ants. It’s really good job keeping those keeping the runners on base getting out of innings. Good job by the Monuments and they have three rounds and seven hits. No errors to them. So why the Expos have won which probably contributed to the Expos loss series tag one game a piece to this point. The land of the Oakland and the Salem Stars final three game series there and the Stars secure game three to take the series against the Ocean two games to one 5-3 win on 10 hits in an error. It’s a good job offensively. That’s was that’s where the that’s what won them this game. They shut down the ocean enough, but Oakland wasn’t able to have the sufficient runs to tie the game. Stars won five to three and they win the series two games one. Good job, St. Louis. It over to game series between Minnesota and Columbus. So norm 13 has pretty good offense pretty good offense back home too but their their pitching and defense just I’m going to sleep. They give up nine runs 13 hits. Minnesota had no defense either. They give up seven runs on 12 hits to the Aviators but they don’t they outscore their opponent and they win the game. Simple as that because there was defense was not a thing in this game and they won the series two games to one. They went over to the San Diego Seals final three game series. Texas wins an absolute pitching duel one run seven hits no errors and and the seals score on four hits and no errors their own. So just the one run for the Twisters and that’s enough to win. Great pitching for some slowets. Good job of the first to shut out the sails. Then we head to the Atlanta Arrows and the Philadelphia Liberty for number three series and disappointing win for Philadelphia there. So around 13 hits they put just as much effort as in Atlanta, but they struggled when it mattered both offensively and defensively. errors win and this wins them the series two games to one. How about that for Atlanta on capitalizing on mistakes of your opponent classic maybe they’re bad at the wrong time that does happen in baseball when 97 but you will see what if you watch the game from that I covered today you know you know what h what happened there because I cover I covered I covered them the game after this cuz the arrows they They went down south to Florida to play the Tampa Bay Titans for four games set. They played game one today. They’ll play game two tomorrow and then game three Thursday. I’ll cover game three on Thursday as well. So, we covered two games in that series. Then we head over to the Chicago Railers and the Las Vegas Cam. So, the Railers here the Railers avoid a sweep. They don’t they lose the sweep, but they get shut out in the process and they don’t put up a single run against the the gamblers rounds they hits. Vegas, they don’t they’re sneaking wins out. They’re sneaking wins out. Maybe they won’t be embarrassing. They’re still a bad team, but they’re sneaking wins out. They’re getting wins enough to crawl themselves out of being laughably miserable. Thank gosh. I don’t want that people can laugh at. Look, oh, they they’re embarrassing. Basically, we do the Rockies. I mean, they’re they’re they’re awful. Just 24 g. It’s And we’re at like 100 games, bud plus 100 plus, and you don’t have Yeah, I’m not getting any more into that. So they railers still won the series two games to one. However, despite getting shut out to the to the gamblers final this point to board number two. So the the Detroit Motors and the Bostoners this win this series for Boston. Oh well. What happened? They got swept. They got swept to a team that is well below them. The Detroit Motors. They’re just kind of team. They’re okay. They win seven to2 with the Boston Lers. 12 12 hits and an error for Detroit. Just two rounds, six hits and an error for the Wers. So Detroit, they get this somehow. Something cl something clicked in the motors defensively and offensively and they swept Boston. Is this a Boston thing or is this the Detroit thing? We’ll see. Or maybe not. Maybe fistles out. We don’t know. the New York Knights and the New York they’re at the end. We did the New York Sailor being hosted by the Toronto Huskies. It’s the game I covered. Pretty not exactly the most fun game, but just the two-run blast, but Barry Thornton did everything in this game. He ever he did all he carried the Huskies in one of the game four to two on seven hits, no error. is two runs 68 hits in an air for the Sailors which did contribute to the loss for New York but Toron did a good job shutting down the later innings and that wins them the game 4 to2 series tied at one to Cincinnati and Houston pretty interesting game here winning four nothing has two errors yeah so despite the defensive mistakes they still shut out Houston I’m impressed by two errors and they still got the shut Not nice and see they made up they three mistakes during the fifth and four runs 11 and they shut out Houston series chat at one then right after this series is over I’m going to be covering the Columbus Aviators that will be tomorrow cuz today they finish this series up tomorrow finished it up we’ll cover it tomorrow morning sometime tomorrow Tonight, Houston’s hosting the Columbus Aviators. So, back to back series against the Ohio team. That That is pretty much how Angel baseball would probably schedule it. Just like, oh, that’s kind of cool. That’s kind of Oh, that’s kind of cool. They’re to play each other back to back. Houston and Clemen Cincy play Houston back to back. Series one between the two. We’ll see who wins the series. You’ll see it tomorrow. The final game on this board, the New York Knights against the New Orleans Gator. Similar to Boston. Similar situation, but this one they probably more similar cuz New Orleans we already know they’re not good. They’re not a good They’re They might have impressive. They might Well, they have the like the flashy looks and stuff, but then they they don’t actually win the games. That’s the thing. And this game, this one ones where they didn’t have a flashy game at all. 105 hits, that’s it. But they gave up six runs to the to the New York Knights. So, the Knights, six runs, they really good job offensively. They’re getting hits consistently. They’re bringing runs home. They’re getting good contact, good hits, playing good defense as well. They win six to one and they sweep the New Orleans Gator. And that does it for this board. See for board number two. So here’s board number two. All right. So we have the just the three games on this board. There you go. Three games. We’ll start with the Raptors and the Memphis Blues. Final threeame series. After an eightgame losing streak, the Raptors with a very good rebound. They sweep the Memphis Blues and they win. They cap it off with a three four nothing win. Shutting up the Blues holding them to just three hits. Four runs and eight hits, no errors for the Utah Raptors. Blue in the air. And the problem is they they just they had a terror after that game one amazing that game one walk-off for Utah. The energy was just drained for Memphis and it showed 5-2 win in game two, four nothing win in game three. They sweep the Memphis Blues. Great way and a rebound. Now we’ll see if if they can continue this type of energy. So then we end up game number two on this board. All right. The Tampa Bay Titans and the 41 Anchors final three series and Tampa Bay winning five the last six games after coming into today. So coming into today’s game which I cover they they won five of their last six with this way a three win over the Portland Acres 307 hits and an error but they outscore their error. So Portland they struggled they struggled to get most anything run on two hits. That’s it. And the Titans win 3 to one. The final board for yesterday’s games. So Seattle Sasquatch, I think Orlando Sun is pretty close one overall. Really close. Orlando. They’re right. They’re right back into losing a bunch. They were almost there and then they blew it. Sasquatch wins six to five on 10 hits. No errors. Pepper and 10 hits. No air for the sun. They’re so close. your closers. You have the relievers. You need to get they need to use get learn how to use the right relievers at the right time because that’s a whole skill as a management job. Managing your relievers, trying to get the best and most out of them as you can. Maybe the sunrays can get more out of their relievers and closers. I don’t I don’t really know how I can measure that.
