MULTIPLE KNICKS UPDATES! OG Anunoby Signs HUGE NEW Deal! Yabusele EXPLAINS Move To NY | Knicks News

We have multiple Knicks updates. OG Aninoi has signed a new deal. Gerson Yabiselli recently revealed why he joined the Knicks in free agency. And now, let’s get started. OG Aninoi signs a new deal. OG Anobi is on the largest contract in Nick’s history right now. 5 years, 212.5 million. So, when I’m saying that OG Anobi signed a new deal, trust and believe, I’m not talking about the Knicks. It was recently announced that OG Anobi will be joining Team Sketchers. As you can see here, Sketchers confirms OG Anobi joins its team Sketchers roster. Now, Anobi becomes an ambassador of the Team Sketchers brand. And you can also add this shoe deal on top of the deal he has with the Knicks, giving him even more money each and every year. What a lucrative deal. Another great contract for OG Anobi. And Sketchers also reports here the news drops ahead of OG Aninobi representing the brand on a European basketball tour. After joining the Sketchers brand, OG Anobi had the following to say. Sketchers has helped me continue to play basketball at an elite level, and I love these shoes. I play quick and low to the court. I jump and I move a lot. Sketchers has the shoe to keep me comfortable, to keep me protected, and to keep me playing my very best each and every day. Anobi joins a Sketchers roster that includes his Raptors championship teammate Norman Powell, European Tour partner Terrence Man, as well as NBA players Julius Randall, Joel Embiid, Jabari Walker, and Josh Green, along with WNBA athletes Rakia Jackson, Jackie Young, and Kiki Arifin. Shout out to OG Anobi. I am very happy for him. He got a shoe deal with Sketchers and you just heard the number of players I just named who are on that list with him. Names like Julius Randall, Joel Embiid, now OG Anobi. This is a great contract for him. It’s obviously giving him more money each and every year, but it also allows him to represent Sketchers on the European level, give back to that culture as well. And I know that means a lot to him. And this new deal with Sketchers, it’s going to allow him to do that. And as you just heard, he loves wearing the shoes. He loves playing in the shoes. Now, maybe half of that, maybe even more than half of that is because now he’s an ambassador for the brand, but a little part of that is probably true as well. He probably likes those shoes, likes playing with them, and it does help him feel like he’s playing the best basketball of his career. And if he’s doing that with the Knicks, I have no complaints at all. Another player who recently signed a new contract was Gerson Yabaselli. only this time his new contract was with the Knicks. And recently, he was a guest on Jaylen Brunson and Josh Hart’s podcast, The Roommate Show. And on that show, he revealed a number of different reasons why he joined the Knicks in free agency. Let’s go ahead and break down exactly what he said. Shout out to the Roommate Show podcast for giving us this following information on the app X. According to them, Gerson Yabaselli stated the following on the process of becoming a Nick. According to him, I played against you guys. At the same time, I was looking like, oh my gosh, they have good chemistry. It seems like maybe I’m wrong, but it seems like it’s no problem. There’s no ego. Everybody is vibing in the same way. And shout out to Let’s Talk Knicks for breaking down all of these reasons Yabaselli gave for why he chose the Knicks in free agency. Number one, easy trip for his family. That makes sense. Number two, the character and the team chemistry of this Knicks organization. That also makes sense. Fans and the Garden atmosphere. Absolutely. Nearly every single player in the league says that exact same reason. Shout out to the roommates podcast show for giving Gerson Yabaselli a platform and allowing him to make these comments. If you haven’t watched that episode yet, you need to go to their YouTube platform and you need to watch the latest episode. He drops a lot of great information and the way Josh Hart tries to pronounce Gerson Yabaselli that alone will have you rolling on the floor. But getting back to Yabaselli and the reasons he listed for why he joined the Knicks when you listen to that interview, at least for me, the one thing I take out of it is that he’s grateful. He’s happy. He’s grateful. And get this, he’s honored to play for this Knicks organization. He wants to play in front of these fans. He wants to play in the Garden. He likes the pressure that is on the Knicks right now. And he thinks the Knicks can not only overcome that pressure, they can thrive in it. And with players like Yabaselli, how can the Knicks not be excited for next season? And I said it last time. I said it a couple of videos ago, but I need to mention it again. I love adding players like Yabaselli. Players that want to be here, that are honored to be here, that look forward to playing in the orange and blue, playing under the lights of Madison Square Garden, and wanting to step up to that pressure. Gerson Yabaselli, he wants to do all of that. I am so happy, so excited that the Knicks were able to steal him in free agency and get him on this roster. He wants to play here. We all want him to play here. He’s excited. We’re excited. I just want the season to start so I can see what this new bench unit looks like, how they’re going to be coached under new head coach Mike Brown. There is a lot to be excited for for next season and one of those things is Gerson Yabaselli. We also have some other updates that we need to talk about. Although I will admit there’s some smaller updates, but still I did say at the top of this video we were going to talk about multiple updates. So, I want to make sure I stay true to that. When it comes to the Knicks and their free agency moves, I’m not the only one who loves them. When you’re looking across the league, nearly every NBA insider gives the Knicks free agency either a B or an A. When you’re talking about the individual signings, nearly everybody gives New York a grade A for the Jordan Clarkson signing, including clutch points. As you can see here, they recently graded the Knicks Jordan Clarkson signing as a gradea A. And I can’t blame them. Signing Jordan Clarkson in free agency at the vet minimum, no less, to get him on your team to play a significant role off the bench. That is an absolute steal. He could have went to another team. And it’s no doubt in my mind if he did that, he would have gotten more money. But he joined the Knicks as soon as he was bought out by Utah and the Knicks in free agency. They prioritized Jordan Clarkson. That was their first move that they made and it was a winning move. The Gerson Yabaselli signing that is seen as positive throughout the entire league as well. I think that got around a grade B, if not an A as well. That means the Knicks in free agency are one of the best teams going right now. Making very good moves with limited cap space. That’s why it’s even more impressive that they’re making the signings that they’re actually making here. Another thing that was recently announced was which teams had the best duos in the East, the West, or potentially the entire league. Now, while this is all opinion-based, one ESPN analyst did state that he believes Carl Anthony Towns and Jaylen Brunson are the second best duo in the entire NBA. And the main reason is because of their pick and roll game, which they did very well last season. They stopped at some point, but when they were running it, they were very, very good. And this ESPN analyst, he took note of it. Now, number one, I believe, was OKC, SGA, and Jaylen Williams. And I can’t blame anybody for that. I mean, they’re the reigning defending NBA champions, so you’re likely going to go with them as number one. But the Knicks being number two, that means a lot. And Mike Brown coming in and being the new head coach, maybe not only he goes back to that, but he unlocks it, brings it to a level that we’ve never seen before. And if that happens, the Knicks, just based off of that, will be a better team. Not to mention all the new additions, all the new rotations, and all the new schemes they’re likely gonna run under Mike Brown. I am hyped and excited for everything we’re going to be seeing next season. It’s a very good time to be a Knicks fan. But what about you guys?
