I mean, I’m pretty sure Kawaii’s dead and you just signed CP3. We did. Yeah, we had to bring him home. I mean, technically New Orleans is home. And what exactly was the point in bringing in CP3? To run points, you have James Harden. I didn’t say he was going to start. Oh, he’s going to bench Chris Paul. A 40-year-old Chris Paul is so much better offensively than a Chris Dunn. What about defensively? Plus, if someone gets hurt, he can fill in. And he’s a good vet to have on the team. For what? To mentor the other geriatric players on the team. What are you going to have? 40-year-old CP3 mentor 35-year-old James Harden and 34year-old Kawhi Leonard. Yes. You just want to become a fan favorite team by having all the remaining players everyone grew up watching on one team, don’t you? 100%. It’s actually kind of genius. I really like what the Clippers do over the last years.
The Paul George Trade was heavy but at the time a power move to secure a contending position with a strong core and PG + Kawhi. It was high risk high reward and at least resulted in many hopefull/competetive seasons.
They may held to long at that chance buth the recovery mode that they are in right now looks pretty good. Highly competent team with short deals to balance the time that they gave up for PG and the future.
Imagine this team in 2018 when cp3 was a name worth saying and prime James harden was unstoppable coming from a heat fan now a days shai is where it’s at if you wanna watch a mix of nba and street ball magic after that I’d say lamelo are my guys I like to watch if I wanna see nasty dribble moves Kyrie is a hm but he gets injured too much
