🚨 REPORT: Knicks Granted Permission To Interview Pablo Prigioni

The New York Knicks are set to interview Pablo Pidioni to come on to Mike Brown’s coaching staff. This is really awesome news. Shout out to Ian Begley of SNY who was first on this news. The New York Knicks were granted permission. Now, this is refreshing cuz remember when the Knicks tried to interview every single head coach and they got denied permission. Well, now the Knicks are requesting permission to interview some assistants and Pablo Pidion is one of them. Now Nick Knicks fans, we all have a connection to Pablo Priion. He was a New York Nick back in the day. And I loved Pablo as a New York Knick. The wise vet that came in off the bench. He just was an absolute beast. I loved Pablo. And now he has a lot of experience being an assistant coach. And now Mike Brown is trying to build his coaching staff. You guys let me know right away. Knicks fans, what’s your thoughts of this news? If the Knicks end up hiring Pablo Perion to be part of Mike Brown’s coaching staff, would you want that to happen? Would you welcome him back to the Knicks with open arms or is that somebody you do not want to be part of the New York Knicks? Now, this is a guy that was with or is currently with for that matter, the Minnesota Timberwolves since 2019. He was also an assistant coach for the Brooklyn Nets back in 2018 2019. That’s when he first got into the coaching world. And then he’s been with the Minnesota Timberwolves since 2019. So, that’s like five or six years. He was with the New York Knicks for three seasons back in 2012 to 2015. And I just feel like this is someone I’m absolutely down to bring in to be part of this Knicks coaching staff with Mike Brown. This is the type of guy that I feel like has a great mind for the game and he also has a tie to the organization and Knicks fans love the ties to the New York Knicks, right? That’s why we are totally down to bring anybody that is any type of connection to this Knicks basketball team. So, I’m all in for Pablo Pion. I think it’s an absolute no-brainer. There’s no guarantee the Knicks are going to hire him, but whenever you see a familiar face like that being linked back to the New York Knicks, it feels good. Now, the big question is, what is this coaching staff going to look like? Mike Brown is making a lot of, you know, headlines, of course. He talked to the media few weeks ago, and now we’re in the heart of summer league for the New York Knicks, which has been really exciting here, by the way. And I’m pumped up to get back into the swing of things here on Knicks Media. Haven’t been able to make a lot of content because I’m taking a little break this summer as I prepare for training camp for the Jets. And of course, Nick’s off season is in full swing, but I’m watching the summer league and oh, I’m pumped up to talk about that when we’re in full swing here on the content for Nicks Media.
