Were the Oklahoma City Thunder just LUCKY in this NBA Championship?

okc has been the best team all year but the experience of Denver would have probably beat them if they would have been healthy if Anne Gordon don’t go out that experience was too much for OKC y’all think they got their break like Golden State did in 2015 i think it was meant for them to win it this year period championships you got to get lucky sometimes

  1. Did they get lucky like the 2015 warriors? Yes. The problem is they soo young that if fully healthy they can only get better. There is no regression

  2. Thunder won end of story. The media diminished this team all year and even after it’s over they still diminish this team. Injuries happen after 100 games that’s the bottom line. Okc didn’t hurt Hali jokic or Aaron Gordon. That is not okcs problem

  3. Just like how the pacers where lucky that Embiid was hurt…. JT was hurt…. Dame was hurt…… Multiple Cavs players where hurt….. and KAT was hurt…… lets not do this injury speak cause the Pacers where also lucky that they made it that far. All them buzzer beaters they had…. You don't get that lucky….

Also if Okc doesn't allow a buzzer beater in both of their game 1's vs the Nuggets and The Pacers yall know those series end in 5 right? Cause OKC doesn't really lose at home…. those two games where just the key loses they took. But another thing is they don't lose twice in a row. The only time they lost back to back was Twice this year….. and never lost twice back to back AT ALL in the playoffs…..

Yall just hate the Thunder its clear as day…

  4. The pacers would’ve beat okc if hali didn’t get injured my man’s was 3 for 3 in the first those 14 points the pacers lost by hali would’ve split the difference there would’ve been more ball movements& all those big for nothing guys *obi *turner *mathurin seems like they had Mconnell doing all the work

  5. Srop all the crying , stop making excuses , bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla . Okc won and thats well deserved . End of story

  6. There roster was build for every situation with depth and future in mind, plus salary cap. It's build for 3 to 5 years to contend. Not a once of team

  7. There are so many cases of teams winning against injured teams.

It sucks but it shouldn’t be a slight to them.

Pacers have beaten two unhealthy teams in lead up to the finals but they worked hard for those wins. Their wins aren’t inadequate.

2018-19 Raptors beat the warriors without KD

2016-2017 warriors beat the spurs (who were up in game 1) when kawhi went down.

Or how about the 2014-15 warriors beating the Cavs without Kevin love and Kyrie Irving ?

Whether Hali sat or played , you guys would’ve still made an excuse that Hali wasn’t healthy.

Let it be your favorite team and we’ll hear thousands of reasons why their wins aren’t inadequate was “legit”

  8. Were the Thunder lucky when Chet was out for over half the season with a broken hip? Were the Thunder lucky when both Chet and IHart were both out for a month with injuries. They still won an amazing number of games through this. When JDub had an injured hand and still played through the finals (getting surgery now) did that make the Pacers lucky. The Thunder met a wall with Denver, and they figured this puzzle out and won the series. No luck there, just intelligence and hard work saw them through. Luck plays a part in every series, but it takes a prepared team to take advantage of it.
