him because you know the assumption is when Giannis is done it’s probably not going to be pretty. So if that’s the case I’m going to extend this thing as long as I can. And that’s why so many teams and whatnot are looking at that Bucks 2031 32 pick like I would like to get a piece of that if I can please because who knows what this franchise looks like when he’s not on the team. But yes, I’m all for the Bucks continue to try to maximize the time that they do have here with Giannis because as we have mentioned before like we had to wait 50 and by we I mean the city of Milwaukee had to wait 50 years in between championships. Like it doesn’t

  1. Exactly! Break the bank until he is done. Who cares about being an eighth seed, I'd rather get a couple more years of possible title even if we miss the playoffs for 6 or 7 years

  2. This narrative that Milwaukee wasn’t competitive for 50 years is insane. We got ref jobbed in the ecf in 2001 and we enjoyed many playoff caliber teams. We aren’t some eternally losing team. Most teams don’t win the finals that often outside Boston and la. It’s a rare thing to accomplish. We won’t be finished once Giannis is gone but he’s one of few superstars of his caliber who isn’t a narcissist and is willing to stay in Milwaukee. So ya we need to do evrything we can to win with him in town. If we can get the next contract signed we can be reasonably safe that he will stay, not that he’s over after another contract ends. But he will probably only have another large contract after that one and teams won’t be as willing to break the bank for a couple years with him. Also if he left Milwaukee all bets are off loyalty wise. There’s no guarantee he would stay loyal to any team that got him. He isn’t gonna have any loyalty to a new team that got him if that ever happened. Hed be far more willing to make trade demands etc if he was on a new team. So no guarantee anything they traded wouldnt turn to dust
