I'm happy for him. Its an unpopular take, and I found out the hard way but a good work environment matters more than anything else when considering jobs. People will say they'll work anywhere for the right price but after awhile, the stress from having to drag yourself to be somewhere you don't want to be everyday outweighs the pleasure you get from that extra money you're making. In his case, chasing a ring wasn't all it was cracked up to be.
