I think there's a few players that we just need to move on from. The Vando experience is done and same for Vincent, maybe also Rui. I think they are fine players but just isn't working for the Lakers anymore. If we can trade and it's an upgrade for even one of those guys, then I think it's time imo
When will we ever learn, we’ve been through this saga before. Saying that it’s Anthony Davis team but building the team around LeBron. If we’re truly going to make it Lucas‘s team, we have to trade LeBron and Bronny James. Because when you are talking about making a run for a championship, you need no distractions. And rather if people want to admit it or not, LeBron James is a distraction. Luca took Dallas to a championship because he had no distractions. Forget what they are trying to sell, use your own brain.
I remember the Kobe Shaq oop like yesterday but it really did not have as huge an impact on me as most. I stress when we are down 4 in the 1st in reg season but I was never scared once in that game. In my head I knew the Lakers had gotten over the hump in the regular season. It was KG son who kept finding excuses to get out of bed and watch the game with me that I remember best about that night. Another Lakers Lifer was born that game
Luka looking great. His face is lean. Unfortunately when Luka came to the Lakers he came off his worst injury of his career and didn’t really take his diet seriously while not doing the cardio he was used to while playing. He was young and never dealt with that. No excuses he could have been better obviously. But it is what it is. He’s a gamer. He’s a high passionate player. Doesn’t seem like he will make that mistake again. And now that he’s healthy. Watch out
Waive and stretch Maxi K contract asap and pick up some cheap min contract players. Thomas Bryant, Kevin love, Bol Bol, Westbrook (no important minutes. Only filler minutes while Luka / Bron resting)
I hope AR looks in the mirror and sees his defense of liability and accepts a contract that matches this concern. Everyone loves AR bc he is an under dog story and outplays his contract. If he signs a huge contract he will be criticized every game (even more) and I hate to say the Delo effect and fizzle out with too high of expectations. If he accepted the Manu Ginobili role he would be loved for many many years as a Laker. Just my opinion
wait, why is Shaq saying he wouldve won with Tmac instead a big deal? Tmac was arguably better than Kobe, ESPECIALLY at that time. Tmac is so overlooked and underrated it's unbelievable. should be a crime. He's probably top 10 all time and because of injuries and no championship and no decent organization to play for is he not even mentioned. At that time, it was AI, TMac, THEN Kobe. And that's not a shot at Kobe, he's top 10 as well. all but 1 and 2 are interchangeable
7:51 I'm not the biggest Reaves fan but no way I'm trading him for Bridges. His offensive game has been dogwater since getting traded from Phoenix. On the FIBA team, Reaves played at a higher level on the world stage. Reaves has ascended over the last couple of years while Bridges has descended quite a bit. The one thing I do like is his Iron Man trait so you don't have to worry about missing games. Overall, I can see the appeal next to Luka but if I'm the Lakers, the Knicks would have to include extra compensation….a couple of 2nds, pick swap, salary dump, etc.

I actually like the smart, Vando, Luka, LeBron & Ayton line up against T wolves who beat us.
Ayton would do a much better job against Rudy. And Vando against Ant man. Would be better than what we tried to do last year.
