So if this were to actually go down, this would be like a blockbuster move. This would be the rich getting richer in the form of the Thunder winning the NBA championship this past year, getting an allNBA type of talent in Jaylen Brown. So, uh, you know, adding him to the starting lineup that already has Chad Homegrren, SGA, uh, JDub, etc. Like, this team could be a championship caliber team for the next little bit and they could seriously be a dynasty for the foreseeable future. So, if they want to capitalize the Thunder, that is on their draft capital and their excess draft capital, uh, their multiple first round picks, their good young bench players that maybe could get buried a little bit, uh, sort of based on how this Thunder team is sort of built and constructed, they can kind of push all their chips into the middle of the table and make a trade of this magnitude. I have no doubt about that. So, the Thunder are definitely going to be in the market potentially down the road for a player that becomes unhappy. So, could this be a Jaylen Brown? Possibly. Could this be a Jiannisento? I wouldn’t put it out of the question either. So, the Thunder are in a tremendous spot. They won an NBA championship. Their team is very young. They have superstar talent. They have draft capital at their disposal. And they have bench pieces uh that they could definitely flip for a trade of this magnitude. So, in regards to the Thunder’s perspective, I sort of have to respect it. Now, I think what makes this Thunder team so special is just how this team is constructed. Like the depth of this team, it means a lot to the franchise. So, they would be sacrificing this year, but if they want to win a championship next year and maybe even the year after and onwards, Jaylen Brown helps them get there. There’s no doubt about that. So, I love the fit of Jaylen Brown going to Oklahoma City. Now, from Boston’s perspective, this would sort of shake things up quite a bit. Like, we saw them trade Drew, we saw them trade Christophs this off season, and they still have some decent roster players despite uh, you know, Jason Tatum being injured. So, a bit of a retool move here, but they do get deeper with Aaron Wiggins, Isaiah Joe, Kendrick Williams, Nicole Topic. If he’s a good young player that can develop when he’s healthy, that could be a steal. And getting first round draft capital, too, for Brad Stevens in the Celtics front office. Never a bad thing. So, you’re getting a lot of pieces, which is great, but it does make the Celtics worse. So, for those reasons, I would say the that the Thunder win this deal in my opinion.
