I would have worked up for Dallas if it was up to me cuz I want to go as high as possible. When I see nobody work out, I’m like why not? And I just went in there, did my thing, gain some momentum, hopefully get that third pick. And I felt like I fit in to the team. And then I started seeing like the rumors come around, but I was nervous. I’m like, I’m like I thought I had a good workout, but you know, it beat the people on the side. You were safe. They reached out to us like, you know, we got VJ coming in to work out. By the end of that day, they was like, we know who we taking. And that was before, you know, Ace Bailey stuff was going around. They felt strong at that point. They were like, “We know who we taking. VJ’s our guy. Great kid. Works hard. You got the resume, the footage backs up everything.” We knew early. I ain’t know till like 15 seconds before they call my name. My They just looked at me, nod his head. I was like, “Oh.” I was like, “Damn, I’m really going to Philly now.” I’m like, “I’m lit. Let’s get it.
