Mohamed Diawara STAYS With Knicks… But Kevin Love?! 👀
Did Muhammad Diawara just confirm he’s staying with the Knicks? Yes. Sholay Basket officially announced that Diawara will not return to France and will continue his journey in the US. He will either sign a rookie minimum or a two-way deal and he will wear number 51 in New York that was confirmed today. The defense, the upside, this kid earned it. And now Kevin Love. Jake Fischer reports that he wants to sign in a quote glamour market once Utah buys him out and the Knicks are one of the teams that are mentioned. But the real question is, do the Knicks actually want Kevin Love? And would he even play in New York? Or is this just agent talk? Let me know what you guys think. Is Diwara locked for the rookie deal?
Mohamed Diawara just got officially confirmed to be staying with the New York Knicks next season! He’ll wear #51 and could sign the team’s only rookie deal. But now there’s a wild new rumor — Jake Fischer says Kevin Love wants a glamour market, and the Knicks were named. Does it make any sense?

Should the Knicks SIGN Diawara to the standard rookie deal?! 👀🔥
Congrats Mo!!! 👍🏿🔥🔥
Welcome to NY officially, Mohamed Diawara! 🔥🗽
Kevin Love would be a waste of a veteran minimum spot…
Diawara will become the next Siakam! 🙏
Metta World Peace # 👏🏽 Kevin Love is a big yes
yea good for him and for the Knicks we got a good defensive rookie💯
I like it!
If Love can still knock down 3s and rebound, then why not?
KLove at this point in his career offers practically nothing to a contender other than a veteran presence. His on court ability offers nothing the Knicks need to help them on their deep playoff run, but he could be valuable as a veteran presence similar to our boy from last season, PJ Tucker.
Im not at all even opposed to using that last available vet minimum contract on a vet whos only really there for the vibes, as that type of team building chemistry forming cheerleader can absolutely help the team despite rarely if ever actually seeing the court. However, id only be willing to consider that sort of player if the players available we are still pursuing who actually can help the team on the court (i.e Malcolm Brogdon, Westbrook, Al Horford, Ben Simmons etc.) all dry up and/or become unobtainable for whatever reason. Any of those other available options who can actually help the team directly win games with their play would be preferable to a vibes guy, but if theyre unable to land any of those guys since theyve only got the ability to offer the minimum, id be fine with a guy like KLove for the vibes. Doubt hed get minutes most games anyway unless theres a blowout
With the right time⌚and effort😤💫, he has the potential to rank among the top 'elite' players in the league. While his reputation may be somewhat comparable to Siakam's⛹🏾♂️, it's important to note that they are two distinctly different🤸🏾♂️types🧘🏾♂️of players! 🦾🏀✍🏼👨🏾🔬⏰👨🏾🎓
It better be some agent talk we don’t need that him
No love please
You gotta stay with these kids. We need top tier development coaches. That’s what makes Indiana different along with a handful of other teams.
6-9 with 7-4 wings span, would love to see him on the court one day with, Bridges, OG, McBride, and Mitch. That would be a serious shut down defensive unit.
Love would stop the development of Hukporti
Welcome to NY fam!
