[Music] We are back at Edgewood Tahoe Resort, South Lake Tahoe, Nevada. American Century Championship 2025. It’s nice to be back here after the win two years ago and having some fun. I’m playing against Roger Steel right now. Little one v one match. We’re halfway through and it’s going my way right now. So, I got to finish the deal. But unbelievable environment. People out here having a great time. And it’s only Wednesday, so let’s get [Music] War and play. Just warming up, baby. Warming up. [Music] I wanted to give my boy a step a tuneup session. See where the game was. And I do want everybody in the field to know he looking really good right now. Really good. [Music] Looking forward tomorrow. We got an early start. We got a little proam with some of the fine folks that support this tournament. So, I’m excited about that. When he’s in basketball, he’s in full basketball mode. No golf. So, when I see him for golf, we’re checking his fundamentals, his grip, making sure that everything’s where it needs to be. [Music] thing was on 18. Describe that opening. It looked very narrow from where I was. [Applause] That was just knowing like I’m not a professional golfer. I want to win this tournament. This is kind of a cool shot. It’s probably dumb. Let’s go for it. Day one, big thing is making sure that you can stay in the race. Didn’t hit the ball as good as he probably could. Probably could have done better, but he stayed in it. Finished really strong. Our tournament leader after the first round, Joe Pavvelski with 23 points. Joe, you’ve been in the hunt in this thing a couple times now. Putting in a little bit more time on the golf course. You’re one of the favorites of this event. So, uh, how are you looking at it? For me, kind of having the first full year off. I’ve definitely played more, getting a little bit more practice. It’s funny cuz you you think your game should be better and sometimes it is and sometimes it’s not. [Applause] When you play with Steph on a Saturday or a Sunday, you know there’s going to be a few extra people in the group. It’s actually incredible that we get to experience something like this. [Music] [Applause] $5. [Applause] This is one of the best weeks of the summer coming here playing American Century. Great day yesterday. He’s still in it. Got a shot. I obviously didn’t have my best stuff today, but I grinded the last 11 12 holes. [Applause] I had a lot of fun. Again, the crowd was amazing. Playing golf in this environment doesn’t get much better than that. [Music] It’s not out of the question that I can get hot as early as I can like go to sleep thinking I might have a chance. I was just trying to stay in my own lane and just play, you know, the best I could. Knew I got off to a good start. Did you know Jimmy was coming or what did you think of? I didn’t know he was coming to Tahoe. He’s a man of mystery of where he’s at. So, the fact that he was here, he came out for a second, said what’s up. That meant a lot. I got a lot of work to do. I know it’s easy to say right now because I think he’s still winning, but I’ve been in the final group with him a couple times. Everybody knows when you retire your game might take a leap, but let’s see if he gets it done. [Music]
