NBA Trade Rumors | Kevin Love trade preference REVEALED! | Hoops Nerd Show

New trade rumor for the Utah Jazz. Let’s talk about the Hoops Nerd Show. [Music] All right, guys. Like always, like the video, subscribe to the channel. So, Utah may not be done doing deals yet, and it may not be one of the players you expect. Or maybe you do, I don’t know. But when Utah traded John Collins to the Los Angeles Clippers, part of that trade was getting Kevin Love. And we got some Kevin Love trade intel from Jake Fischer today. Jake Fischer on the Bleacher Report YouTube channel. You can go there and watch it there. He does these live streams there. But what he mentioned there is that Kevin Love is looking to be a part of one of the different glamour markets. And according to Jake Fischer, think New York, LA. He was just in Miami. He must have enjoyed being in that market. Now he’s looking to either go to New York or LA. And this is interesting to me because the Utah Jazz have not waved him since getting Kevin Love. They have not waved him. And it’s, you know, it’s something to watch. They’ve waved other players that they’ve made trades for pretty quickly afterwards, but not this one. So, that means maybe there’s some sort of interest there for Kevin Love that the Utah Jazz know about. Now, we do also know that the Utah Jazz have to meet minimum salary requirements. So, maybe they are just simply thinking we need this player on our books until a trade comes. Or maybe they know that some sort of team out there would like him. If you look at the Los Angeles Lakers, they just recently in pretty much a little bit of desperation have picked up DeAndre Aton as on a minimum deal for them or something around 10 million. I can’t remember if it’s minimum or or or mid-level, whatever it is, but they did get DeAndre Eaton for less than he was making with Portland before Portland paid him to play somewhere else. If if the Lakers have a need for a big, Kevin Love could fit that need and Utah’s not going to just buy him out so he can just go sign with the Lakers on a minimum. It helps out the Lakers and that’s not something the Jazz are going to do just to be nice. If they can get a second round pick from the Lakers for Kevin Love, they would love to do that, I am sure. Right. So, that’s something to definitely watch. Utah is going to be doing what’s best for them, not just for players on their roster. Utah is not here to just help other teams out. Utah is working towards a championship. And if getting another second round pick from the Lakers allows them to do transactions in the future, then that’s what they’re going to do. So, we’ll see. Does Kevin Love go to the Lakers? Maybe the Clippers would be interested in him. You know, the the Knicks possibly some sort of interest. Who knows? We’ll find out.
