Who’s going to start next season? We’ll talk about it after this. Come on. Gang [Music] Sh Boys podcast with the cog boys. I am Conc boy C Dub holding it down on another episode of Shab Boys podcast. If you like what you listening to, make sure you hit that like button. Punch that subscribe button. We just surpassed our goal of 8,300 subscribers. We at 8321 or something like that. The next goal is 8,400. Man, y’all been showing a lot of support. Let’s get it, man. Now, Patrick Williams versus Isaac Aoro. Shout out to Statad Basketball with this little chart. One of these guys, in my opinion, will be the starting small forward for the Chicago Bulls this upcoming season. One of these guys. Look at the head-to-head throughout their careers. Patrick Williams is doesn’t have a good good record against Isaac Aoro. Not to say that they played head-to-head every single possession, but this is their head-to-head win loss record. And it’s nothing really to talk about. Isaac Aoro dominates when it comes to that. And it has to say what Cleveland Cavaliers has done to the Chicago Bulls for the last couple years. Now, let’s look at their overall stats. and how does it compare? And we’ll use that to sway you guys’s opinion of who you think should start. We know the business with Patrick Williams. Isaac Aoro, we seen him play at least 12 times. At least 12 times. If you’re a Chicago Bulls fan, look at the games played. Isaac Aoro played many more games. But remember, Patrick Williams has had some pretty significant injuries. missed a lot of games his uh what is that second or third season when Lonzo was here and Vu and and we were in first place. He missed a lot of that season. He came in back he came back at the end of the season. Corro has been solid. Doesn’t have a significant injury uh injury history. Good amount of gains for a guy of his age. Points per game. We know. And we’ll just add rebounds as well. This is what you gonna get from Patrick Williams any year of his career. Year 1, year 20, year 10, year three. You could probably bet the farm you’re going to get nine and four from Patrick Williams. Isaac Aoro, the defensive specialist, uh, improving on his offense. Gonna get eight and three. Real similar. It’s no distance. This is the same to me. But it’s already a plus for my man Isaac Aoro. He’s a more healthier player. steals a game, blocks a game, field goal percentage. You see Isaac Aoro, he shoots a higher percentage than Patrick Williams. And that’s all due to that last year from Patrick Williams that just passed. It was this awful year for Patrick Williams. Right after you get paid with a massive contract, you have a Oh, just a awful, awful season. Just to give you guys an example, Patrick Williams in his rookie year, the defensive rating was it like 110, 111. That’s like good per 100 possessions. How many points you give up per 100 possessions? That’s the that’s the definition of defensive rating. He was in the good percentage this past year. He was at 116. that was well below league average. He shot a a horrible three-point percentage uh last season, Patrick Williams did, and it brought his three-point percentage for his career down. He was usually of like a 41 42% three-point shooter. He had such a bad year last year. It dropped him under 40. Okay. Free throw percent free throw percentage. And then we got a Cororo whose offensive game is improving. It looks like the trend is that he’s going to continue to improve. So improvement for me for Isaac Aoro shoot 37 to 39% from three-point range this upcoming season. That’s raised this free throw percentage to about 76 77% from the free throw line. If you can do 80 I only respect 80% free throw shooters to tell y’all the truth. Now let’s make a case for each and for each of these guys. Let’s start with Patrick Williams. Patrick Williams familiar familiar with the system with the Chicago Bulls. He has had some big games with us. I ain’t going to lie. You probably can remember all of them. I don’t know if that’s an indictment on Pwheel, but we probably can remember all his big games. And it’s probably only five. He gonna play defense. He gonna play defense. Even though he had a bad year last year, he going to play defense for you. He got the size. He’s athletic. I I wish he lose a couple pounds, though. Patrick Williams on that big contract. That is also something you have to add into the equation. They want to get that bang for their buck. He can. No, I ain’t even going to put myself through that and say that he probably a break out this year, though. We’re not doing that no more with Patrick Williams. Expect what we always get. Patrick Williams, no matter how I like it or you like it, is the incumbent of the small forward position or the four depending where they start Montis Buzzel. He might start at the four, he might start at the three. But I think this guy, let’s just say it like this. Montis, if Patrick starts, Montis plays the three. Patrick’s plays the four or well, we’ll see. But we’ll see what happens. But we’ll see. It’s kind of confusing. I was going to say if Montis starts, then Montis could play the three and Patrick could play the four. Yeah, that’s how it go. And then Okoro, if he starts, Montis plays the four oro plays a three. Okay, there it is. I got her together. But that’s his only case. Familiar with the system and get you nine and four as a role player, three and D player cuz that’s what he is. Nothing more. I guess he’ll be okay. Then we got Isaac Aoro. Sending young player, athletic. Y’all seen that play. He dunked on three rockets. um three-point percentage is improving. His his drive to be better. I like I like I like his drive to be better. I like his competitive nature. There he is in this new jersey. He gonna wear another 35. Just an interesting interesting player and how he would fit with the Chicago Bulls. And ultimately what I’m coming down to is they’re both very very similar. But there is excitement with a cororal cuz he’s new. Everything new. It’s excitement with everything new. We know what we getting with Patrick Williams. It’s going to change in year six, seven. Something going to change. We got all those godgiven gifts. size, athleticism, but he don’t have that one thing, dog mentality. He don’t have it. But Cororo, he got it. Talk he he talk the talk. He want to guard the best perimeter offensive players in the league. And he does that pretty damn well, bro. He does it pretty damn well. He’s improving. Uh he’s competing every single possession on the basketball court. There’s no bias. I’m not doing any bias over here. So, he didn’t come over here probably to come off the bench, but we’ll see what Billy thinks. If you had my choice, I’ll start a corro, bro. We get the same productivity from Patrick Williams coming off the bench. But I’mma let y’all decide. Y’all let me know in the comments. Would you start Isaac Kakoro or would you start Patrick Williams? Man, y’all been killing it, man. With the subscriptions, bro. I appreciate all the love and support you guys been giving us up here at Shad Boys Podcast. We’ll get to 10K before you know it. Next goal is 8,400. Y’all the best in the world. Peace. Let me know who y’all think. A Coro or Pat? Put it in the comment. Conc.

  1. Sorry dude but I'm starting Huerter till Noa is ready. Both of them dudes can come off the bench if there is a place to play. Second team has Ayo, Jones, Pat, Sticks and Okoro. You play bad and you get replaced by Dalen, Julian immediately by Billy. Julian and Dalen will have to play out of their minds to be on this team in 26.

  2. Pwilly ova wit πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ but we should really debate on heurter or issac imo maybe Kevin gets the spot MAYBE but I’m putting my money on issac improving quicker, more efficient and reliable

  3. If Patrick Williams was playing well, we wouldn’t even be looking at a Isaac Okoro. So with that, Patrick Williams needs to take a backseat and work his way back into the lineup.

  4. Everyone talking this nonsense about pat. They paid hom to play defense. The bullsade him 3 or 4th option. When they need him to make it he's clutch. He guards the best player. Ginlannis. I'm with Stacey King. Pat is a player. He doesn't need to score to make a difference. Everyone is just talking offense when the bulls got heaters.

  5. No to both of them, Normally Williams is a SF at 6’7” and Okoro is a SG at 6’5”
Bulls should play Smith at PF since Vooch is not playing defense..

    PG Giddey, Ayo, Jones, Carter
    SG White, Huerter, Okoro, THT
    SF Buzelis, Williams, Terry
    PF Smith, Essengue, Phillips
    C. Vooch, Collin’s, Olbrich

  6. Pat's the kind of player you just don't give a starting position to out of the blue.

He's gotta earn it by averaging 16, 8 & 5 for at least a season.

I'd rather have Okoro start to see what he can do.

  7. Patrick Williams is younger than okoro tho, so if you're hoping for improvement from okoro, hope for it from p will too.
