NBA 2K26 Miami Heat Roster Ratings REVEALED?

NBA 2K ratings have been trickling out and Heat fans are going to be surprised by where 2K ranks the Heat going into the 202526 season. We’ll talk about where the roster ranks against the rest of the NBA, where the players rank uh with their potentially revealed ratings here and where the uh where NBA 2K got it right and where they got it wrong. All right, let’s start with where the Heats roster ranks against the rest of the league. And you could see at the very top we’ve got the Knicks, the Clippers, the Thunder, the Mavericks, the Lakers, the Cavaliers, the Nuggets right here. You got to keep scrolling down pretty far until you find the Heat. Past Memphis, past Sacramento, past Milwaukee, who just waved and bought out Damen Lillard, past New Orleans, and that’s where you find Miami and 82 overall. Not getting very much respect at all here from 2K going into this upcoming season. This kind of puts them squarely back into the playin mix. Um, their Vegas overunder is at like 38 1.5, 39 12 wins. So, uh, NBA 2K reflecting a little bit what Vegas thinks in terms of, uh, where they’re rating the Heat. And then you just think about like the Heat’s calling card typically is on defense. And they’re not getting very much respect here on defense either. You got to scroll down past teams like the Lakers, Nuggets, and Raptors until you find Miami’s defense, which is being rated 64 overall, just ahead of Portland. Just a point over Utah. It just feels like that’s a little low. But 2K does give Miami credit when it comes to intangibles. They rank fairly highly there. Uh and then with potential, they’re getting some respect there. Um there’s a little bit of a hedge where they can potentially get up to about an 85 overall. So that’s where Miami’s team ranks uh against the rest of the league. All right, so now let’s see where the Miami Heat players rank. So here’s the latest uh NBA 2K ratings for the Miami Heat, or at least the rumored one. Spam out of bio 89 overall. Tyler Herro an in 88 overall. Norm Palpal 87. Andrew Wiggins an 81. Kelwar is an 80. You’ve got DaVon Mitchell here at a 78. Nicola Yoic at a 77. Haimehack as Junior at a 76. Terry Rosir still getting the benefit of the doubt here as a 75. Haywood coming in at 75. Pel Larrison at a 75. Simone Feekio who came over from Detroit this offseason in the signing trade that sent Duncan Robinson to the Pistons. He’s a 74 overall. Drew Smith, who is still technically not on the roster. He’s a restricted free agent still. He’s a 73 overall. And Kashad Johnson, the last guy on the roster, a 69. No. Uh, Kasparus, Yakonis here. Um, they’re going to be added here. So, you look at Yakonis, Golden, and Myron Gardner, guys who do not have previous rankings on NBA 2K. They still don’t have ratings here. Um, so these are the these are the ratings that we’re starting to see here for NBA 2K. maybe something that Heat fans can expect when the game is released. So, uh, that’s where the players rank. Uh, you got Bam, Tyler, and Norm Powell. They’re all going to rank in the top 100 in the NBA 2K ratings. Wiggins, Kel Wear, they just sort of barely missed the cut in the top 100. So, where was 2K right? Where was 2K wrong? to figure that out. Let’s go ahead and check out the top 100 players overall to get a sense of where Miami’s players rank against the uh the rest of the NBA. So, you’ve got Joic, Giannis, and Chay all at the top 98 overalls. Nothing surprising there. Those are your best players in the league. We’re going to keep scrolling down to find Bam here at 29, just behind James Harden, just ahead of Zion Williamson. Um I I’m not going to lie, I think that they have this uh pretty accurate. 89 is the highest ever 2K rating uh for BAM and that’s coming off of a down season where he didn’t score very efficiently, failed to make an alldefensive team for the first time since 2019. So, I actually think that this is a fair rating for Bam. You’d love to see him get into that 90 zone, but uh I do think that there’s potential coming off that down season considering that this is the highest rating he’s ever had in 2K. There’s potential to climb into the 90s with a stronger start to the season. Let’s go find uh where they have Tyler Hero. So, here’s Tyler Herro, 37th rated player in NBA 2K right there with Zack Lavine, LaMelo Ball, Darius Garland. Again, this feels just about right to me. And look where Heat fans are going to be a little surprised here. They’ve got Jimmy Butler in 87 overall, ranking 40th in NBA 2K behind Bam Adabio and behind Tyler Herro. Heat fans should be happy about that. Uh Jimmy Butler getting older, not getting very much of the benefit of the doubt here uh as a member of the Golden State Warriors. It was sort of an up and down playoffs for him, especially after Steph got hurt. So, um they’re building in some age here. Maybe Miami got off of Jimmy Butler at the right time. Um at least according to NBA 2K, he actually has the same rating as Norm Pal who’s an 87 overall, ranked 50th. He’s listed here with guys like Austin Reeves, OJ Anobi, Aman Thompson just ahead of Darren Fox, Julius Randle, Brandon Ingram. Normal Pal is coming off of a pretty uh a pretty great season. I mean, it was it was a career best season for him. This feels like it might be a little inflated for me. Nor Pal is a knockdown three-point shooter, but is he better than Dearan Fox? Is he better than Brandon Ingram? I mean, I I’m not the biggest fan of those guys, but I they have a bigger body of work than Norm Pal to put him there with guys like Austin Reeves. I hope this is the case. I just I guess I’m a little surprised that NBA 2K rates him so highly. So, um you keep scrolling down here and like I said, Wiggins, Kell Wear, they’re not going to make the top 100. They’re coming in behind guys like uh Devin Vel, Miles Bridges, Daniel Gaffford, Jaden McDaniels, Ty Jerome, Bobby Portoris, Malik Monk. Um I could see I could see why that might be the case. I think Wiggins is being a little disrespected here. I I think he’s undervalued just generally as a player. Uh be I think the frustrations with Wiggins kind of seep into the overall opinion of Wiggins, but at the end of the day, he’s still a productive two-way player. To me, I think he should be right here in the 90s, right here with the Deon Vels and the Miles Bridges and sort of the Bobby Portoris’. That to me is where the Wiggins zone should be with Kell really strong rookie season going into his second year. I definitely think there’s potential for him to climb into this top 100 mix here. Um, so look where they were right, where they were wrong. I kind of think NBA 2K has it mostly right if these are the rankings here. Going to be interesting to see where they put Kasparus Yakonis. Um, going to be interesting to see if BAM can climb up higher in the rankings and get closer to maybe the Evan Mobleys. Um, and uh, the guys rated in the 90s here. I think that would be the ideal outcome for Miami. if he can start to climb into this top 20ish mix as opposed to the uh the end of the top 30. Uh and then Tyler Hero coming off of an all-star season, I think there’s potential for him there to climb. Miami getting a lot of respect in terms of Norm Pal, not getting as much respect for guys like Wiggins. Um and not getting a whole lot of respect in terms of where the roster stands. I still think maybe the intangibles are what sets Miami apart, the coaching part of this and all of that. I think defensively they’ll be better than where NBA 2K kind of rates them right now. So, uh yeah, we’ll see what happens and we’ll see what happens uh when the official NBA 2K ratings come out. Uh but for now, thanks for making Locked on Heat your first listen today. 1. Bam’s ratings are only going to drop because:
#1. The Heat won’t be good
#2. If the Heat are good that means Niko & Ware are good & taking Bam’s usage & shots

  2. Yesterday I ran into Jose from Kendall at a gas station, and he told me he’s sure that Bam has cousins and friends working at NBA 2K.😊
