Lakers Lebron James Working Out In Clippers Arena

What’s going on everyone? So, the fun just never stops with LeBron James uh this off season, right? He was recently seen working out with the Clippers logo in the background. And of course, everybody is losing their minds, right? This is going to be a huge talking point. Uh you’re going to hear I I could already hear it tomorrow. We’re going to get a bunch of or depending when you’re watching this, maybe even today going to get a bunch of, you know, ESPN and FX, you know, Fox Sports One and all that stuff talking about LeBron doing this. like is he sending cryptic tweets to the Lakers? You know, he did the workout with the Cavs and all that stuff. Well, the reality is is that uh no, it’s not some cryptic tweet. It’s not some, you know, oh, shot at the the Lakers or anything. Um, so Clutch currently is using the old Clippers facility, right? Remember Steve Balmer got that new uh facility, the the crazy one that he just built? Um, the old Clippers facility is now being used by Clutch. So, Clutch, all of Clutch’s players and, you know, everyone that they have under their umbrella are all able to go to the old facility and go work out. So, this isn’t some, you know, grand conspiracy. This isn’t some like, oh my god, you know, the the LeBron James trying to send shots at the Lakers or anything like that. No, that’s all this is is simply that that um you know Rich Paul and Clutch using the old facility um as a kind of hub for their players to go and work out. So LeBron was there working out, training, getting lifts in, getting all that stuff. Um you know, he is committed to the Lakers. Uh there was a video going around Rich Paul um was at an event and he somebody asked him um hey, you know, like it basically is a trade happening. He was like, “No, LeBron isn’t being traded.” Like pretty much point blank that it’s not going to happen. And the guy was like, “Come to the Knicks. What? Tell him to come to the Knicks and then we can hang out every day type thing.” And he was like, “It’s not going to happen.” Right? So again, LeBron’s not going anywhere. LeBron’s committed. Luca even came out and said that, you know, he wants LeBron to retire Laker. He wants LeBron to to stick around with the Lakers. He doesn’t want LeBron to go anywhere. LeBron, there were reports that came out that LeBron is willing to do whatever it takes for this team to win an NBA championship. He’s in gear. he’s getting himself together and you know he’s committed right now. Obviously, look, LeBron never does anything by accident. We’ve seen it a million times, but I don’t think that this was one of those situations, right? Like LeBron is is more under a microscope than any player ever, right? Every little thing that he does. And there’s been so much talk this offseason about him being traded or you know him being the final season and that the Lakers want to push him out and that LeBron wants to leave and this that and the other, right? Like and I imagine that noise is probably going to continue maybe even through the season. And you know it is it is a lot of noise. It is distracting, right? But as long as it doesn’t distract the players, then who cares? As long as it doesn’t distract the Lakers, as long as the Lakers and the team and the players and everybody knows that, hey, LeBron’s here, LeBron’s committed, LeBron’s bought in, who cares about all the the noise outside, who cares about, you know, media drumming stuff up and Ramona and and Winhor and all these other, you know, talking heads out there saying whatever they got to say in order to to convince people that LeBron’s leaving. Again, I just think it’s it’s it’s all just noise. Every offseason, every year we hear this. Every year it’s like this is LeBron’s last year. Every year we hear all this, that, and the other. And every year LeBron stays. Every year he sticks around. And look, I’ve said it. I believe that the Lakers have the best duo in all of basketball. They’re the only team that has two top 10 players in all of basketball. Can they just work to the level of championship? Right? Cuz there were moments last year that looked brilliant that the two of them just looked phenomenal, right? But there were also moments where it was a little awkward, a little it was a little clunky, right? And especially with Austin Reeves and stuff like that. Can you know LeBron and Luca coexist? But can also Reeves LeBron and Luca coexist? You know, I saw a lot of people that are like, you know, hey, like it worked last year did to an extent. Again, there were games and stretches and moments where it just it was brilliant, right? But then there was also, you know, games here and there and even in the playoffs where was a little awkward, a little didn’t quite work the way we needed it to, right? And so they’re going to have to find that balance in one way or another. Which is why I think it’s very good that we have now a full off season, full training camp, a full preseason where Luca and LeBron are going to be able to work through the things that they need to work through. They’re going to be able to build that chemistry and that cohesiveness and all those things that are important to have success with this team, with this roster. And I do think that LeBron is going to buy in. I think he is bought in. And I mean, he’s already putting in the work. He’s already, you know, doing the things necessary to gear up for the season. He’s going to be really good, right? Like, talk about a guy last year again that was top six in MVP voting, was all NBA. He’s still one of the 10 best players in all of basketball. Let’s say there is a slight decline next year. I don’t think he’s just going to fall off a cliff talent-wise, but let’s say that there is a slight decline, right? Like I think so then he goes from top 10 to top 15. That’s still like Lakers still have two top 15 guys in all of basketball, right? So, I I just I do think that there is a path. There is a version of this where the Lakers are hoisting Larry O’Brien at the end of the season, right? It is very possible that that is a possibility. But again, there’s a lot of factors that have to go into play. There’s a lot of unknowns, a lot of whatifs, right? But like I said, that’s for all teams. The only team that doesn’t have any whatifs is OKC because they won the championship last year. And but you could still argue because no team has won backto back since the Warriors like eight seasons ago, right? So again, it’s very possible that OKC could even have some whatifs, right? They didn’t make some major splash, some major trade, which is understandable. They just won the championship, but I’m saying like, you know, there there is the potential that there that there’s some whatif questions as far as they go. And they, you know, it wasn’t smooth sailings for them, right? you see some of these these teams in recent years kind of just coast to an NBA finals, right? And end up winning and kind of walking through. I mean, Denver, I mean, no one really stood in their way. Closest you could argue was like the Phoenix Suns, but it took Devin Booker putting up a historic all-time percentage. Like literally never been done before, never been done since. And it was he shot was like 71 72% from the floor, something ridiculous. He was on a heater and still didn’t even come close, right? like still lost in six. So again, to see a team like OKC honestly should have lost to Denver. Denver didn’t have like four healthy players. That might have been a different series. I mean, if Tyresese Hallebertton doesn’t get hurt, that might have been a different series. So again, it’s it’s there are a lot of questions for the Lakers. I get it. But again, Lakers have advantages that other teams don’t. You have LeBron and Luca. You have two guys that are, you know, two of the best players in all of basketball. And you have two guys that are two of the best like offensive engines in all of basketball and two of the best players ever and two of the best offensive engines ever. You got two guys that if they can really figure this out to the level where it’s like, okay, yeah, they they clearly, you know, there’s something there. Then I think that there is a very good chance that they can win. We’ve seen Luca do more with less. We’ve seen LeBron do more with less. Now LeBron isn’t, you know, 27y old LeBron. is not even, you know, 37y old LeBron anymore, right? Like it’s it is very different than than what he is now, but he’s still an incredible player. And LeBron James is your second option. I do it in quotes because he’s never really going to be your second option, but LeBron as essentially your second option is by far the best second option in all of basketball. Like, what team has a better second option than LeBron James? Most teams don’t have a better first option than LeBron James. And Luca is everything LeBron needs. I’ve talked about it like LeBron’s best chance for a championship might be Luca Donuch, right? Especially a healthy, motivated, hungry, ready to take over the league Luca Donuch. Like that might be his best bet to that might be the horse that you place your bet on in order to win. I think Luca is going to have an MVP level season and I think it’s very possible that he helps lead this team to an NBA championship. Not just that, but he’s the exact player LeBron has wanted. A guy that can take the reigns. A guy that can be the clear-cut number one guy for you, which is what he wanted Anthony Davis to do. I mean, he was very public about that. How many times do we hear him in interviews go like, “This is Anthony Davis’s team. Anthony Davis is our best player, right?” Like all of those things. And he just never fully took the reigns. And I love AD, right? I think AD is going to go into the the the great of the the Lakers, right? That that treasure chest that’s just filled with Laker greats. He’ll be there, right? but he wasn’t the guy. Like there were a lot of questions about Anthony Davis being the guy for the Lakers. And now LeBron James has clearly that guy who’s not afraid to give to take over the ranks. He’s here. Give give him to me. Let’s go. Right. Like so I I am not I’m not worried in that sense. He also takes all the pressure off of LeBron as far as like handling on ball duties and and being the primary playmaker and being the offensive engine and doing all the stuff that you have to see LeBron do. so many times. I mean, how many times have we had to have and see LeBron bail the Lakers out? How many times have we had to see LeBron kind of just like take it up a notch just to like have to go out and average 30 just for us to have a chance to win? Not even win, just like have a chance to win. I mean, the last few seasons there have been stretches. You know, we’ve been a playin team on several, you know, like Luca kind of broke the playin thing. And as as tough as it is, like if we would have had Anthony Davis, we probably would have been a playin team again, right? Because Anthony Davis was hurt, right? So it’s very po like Luca coming to the team and coming back, we won a lot of games that we probably wouldn’t have won, right? So again, there’s a lot of factors that go into this, but Luca is exactly what LeBron needs. But you know, again, anything that LeBron does, it’s going to be under a microscope. anything LeBron does, they’re going to take it and try to blow it up and and oh, he’s he’s clearly sending a message to the Lakers. No, he’s just it’s just that’s where Clutch is working out, right? Like they took the old facility. Like if he was in the the Clippers new facility, it’d be a little like, okay, that that’s kind of interesting, right? But it’s not. He’s he’s in the old facility. The Clutch is is, you know, using that facility for their players. So, why wouldn’t LeBron work out there? Why wouldn’t LeBron do that? Right? However this is nothing more than nonsense as Klutch sports is using the Facility to house their clients and players during the NBA offseason.
