So yeah, this trade’s actually pretty intriguing to me. Uh because Quinton Grimes is, I would say, at this point a bit of an underrated player uh that could be dealt this off seasonason. I think it’s probably in the best interest for the 76ers to hold on to Quinton Grimes. But with his value being as high as it is right now and if you’re able to get back this much of a return, you know, Walker Kesler, good young center, a first round draft pick, like that’s some pretty good value in my personal opinion. So, Quinton Grimes going to the Jazz would be an intriguing trade because the Jazz obviously could use some more scoring. Quinton Grimes in an enhanced role could definitely provide that. Um, I think if he were to go to this Jazz team, he could be a 20 point per game guy potentially consistently and this would be a pretty good move for the long term. Like I don’t believe he’s very old if I’m not mistaken. Uh, he’s only 25 years old in the prime of his career. Um, you know, averaged 14 and a half points last year I believe. Uh yes, his numbers actually were a lot better when he went over to the Philadelphia 76ers. He was a 21.9 point per game guy. He has that potential. So I think going to Utah, this could be a pretty good move for them uh to potentially get a scoring, you know, player of the future to add to this young core. I love it. Now, the asking price is a little bit steep. Uh and if you’re a team like Utah, you do have a plethora of draft capital and young talent, and you have to be sure about this deal. So from the Sixers perspective, it’s sort of a safe play. uh you’re betting on the fact that Quinton Grimes’s value is pretty high. If you cash in now, you’re hoping that in the future, it doesn’t haunt them too much. And getting Walker Kesler, a good young center, uh he could perhaps be the player that kind of uh is a is is a succession plan for maybe if they move off of Joel Embiid. Uh defensively speaking, Walker Kesler is a double double machine. Doesn’t stretch the floor perhaps, but he’s a good presence below the basket and around the rim. Uh throw in a first round draft pick, which will likely not be anything crazy from the Lakers, but it’s a couple years from now. Uh, it’s always good for a team like Philadelphia to get some more draft capital, especially if they go into more of a rebuild later on, depending on how this year goes when the team is healthy. So, intriguing trade. I do like it a lot for the Utah Jazz. So, if I had to pick a winner, I’m actually going to go with the Utah Jazz. But as always, leave your thoughts.
