WOW! Knicks EXTEND Mikal Bridges After Learning That Giannis WON’T Request Trade | Knicks News

Wow, this is unbelievable. According to reports, the Knicks received intel on Giannis Attempt Kmpo before resigning Mikuel Bridges. And this was a major factor in New York giving Bridges that extension. We’re going to break down all of these latest reports today. If you’re enjoying the content, please hit that subscribe button and have notifications turned on. so you don’t miss any new content. And now, let’s get started. The Knicks receive intel on a Giannis attent. One of the biggest decisions the Knicks needed to make this off season was regarding Mikuel Bridges and his extension. And yesterday, the Knicks finally made their decision. Shout out to Ian Begley and Nicks Videos on the App X for giving us all of this information here. According to them, the Knicks have agreed to a 4-year, $150 million extension with Mikuel Bridges. Bridg’s deal is less than the max extension he was eligible for, which gives New York more financial flexibility moving forward. According to Begley, a league source informed him that the main reason Mikuel Bridges accepted this extension was because he wants to be in New York and he wants to win in New York. He wants to win with the Knicks. Once again, Mikuel Bridges could have signed a 4-year $156 million max extension, but instead agreed to a 4-year $150 million extension. This is great. Bridges is resigned and he did it at a little bit less than his max extension, giving New York more financial flexibility. But is that the main reason the Knicks chose to extend Mikuel Bridges? Unfortunately, that doesn’t seem to be the case. According to these latest reports, one of the main factors that led the Knicks to resigning Mikuel Bridges was them receiving intel on Giannis Attempt Kmpo and his future with the Milwaukee Bucks. Let’s break down all of those reports today as well. Shout out to NBA insider Jake Weinback for giving us this following information here. According to him, there were rumors circulating around the league that the Knicks were stalling extension talks for Mikuel Bridges in case Giannis Attento became available this off season. Now, with Mikuel Bridges signing a new 4-year, $150 million contract extension with New York, it’s safe to say that rival teams have accepted that Giannis Attempt Kmpo isn’t leaving the Milwaukee Bucks anytime soon. On top of those reports, we have the following information from Hoopswire regarding why New York extended Mikuel Bridges and how all of this came about. According to them, the New York Knicks got intel that Giannis attend Kmpo won’t request a trade from Milwaukee before they sign Mikuel Bridges to an extension. Unbelievable. But you know what? I absolutely believe that report for one main reason. Go back to about a week ago. The Knicks still had not resigned Mikuel Bridges. And according to NBA insider at the time, Ian Begley, he informed us that one of the factors and why the Knicks were waiting because they wanted to see if Giannis attendent Kmpo would ask for a trade out of Milwaukee. And at the time we were told if and when New York extends Muel Bridges, that likely means Giannis and him possibly being up for trades is off the table for this off season. And since New York resigned Mikuel Bridges, that solidifies this point. Giannis will not be traded this off seasonason. Maybe at the deadline, maybe next off season, but as of right now, he is not going to be traded. And because of that, because of the intel the Knicks received on that matter, they used it to sign Mikuel Bridges to a 4-year 150 million contract extension. And honestly, that is such a smart move to do. You sign Mikuel Bridges for a little bit less than his max extension and you do it because you know your main trade target in Giannis Attento will not be available. So that means there’s nothing left to wait for. If you know he’s not going to be available, then you resign Mikuel Bridges. And don’t tell me one of these things didn’t lead to the other. that the Knicks received intel that Giannis would not be available for trade. And then a few hours later, Mikuel is extended. And you want me to believe that those two things are not related? Impossible. Giannis not being available for a trade was a major factor in Mikuel Bridges receiving that contract extension. However, this has not affected the Knicks and their odds for next season in terms of winning the East and going all the way to the NBA Finals. Shout out to new channel sponsor FanDuel for breaking down all of this information for us. Here are the current odds for what team is going to win the Eastern Conference next season. According to FanDuel, the Cleveland Cavaliers are at the top of this list to win the East at plus 240. But right after them, a very close second at plus 270 is the New York Knicks. Then you got the Orlando Magic at plus 500, the Atlanta Hawks at plus a,000, the Pistons at plus 1,200, and then the Philadelphia 76ers also at plus 1,200. The Milwaukee Bucks, they’re not even on this list. And that goes to show you headed into next season, Milwaukee is not seen as a contender to go all the way to the NBA Finals. But the Knicks, they definitely are. And one of the main reasons they are is because of this Muel Bridges contract extension. They could have blown up the team, made a number of different trades this off season, but they didn’t do that. They held on to their assets. They resigned Mikuel Bridges and they made some very good moves in free agency. Jordan Clarkson, Gerson Yabaselli, and they still have one vet minimum contract to give out to another veteran player to add to this team. Each and every time you look at this Knicks front office, Leon Rose, Worldwide West, Gerson Rosa’s, I mean, the Knicks front office right now is rolling, making great moves, making great signings, but more importantly, using the intel that they receive to make the right moves and make them immediately, make them fast, doing things without waiting too long. But as of right now, we know for certain moving forward to next season, this roster that we currently have, this is the team that we are going to be utilizing into next season. The Knicks will not be making any trades, any major blockbuster moves right now. The only trade they wanted to make was for Giannis. Now that Giannis is off the table, they are going to keep this team together, keep this roster together, continue to add the right pieces to this team, so that way next season we can move forward as one of the best teams in the NBA with one of the best chances to go all the way to the NBA finals and win it all. and the Knicks. As of right now, the Knicks have some of the best odds to win the East and go all the way to the NBA Finals, exactly where they belong. But what about you guys? What do you think about New York resigning Muel Bridges to a 4-year, $150 million contract extension? But what about the main reason the Knicks even made that extension? the fact that they got intel about Giannis before resigning Mikuel to this contract extension. Let me know how you feel about that on the comment section below, guys, because honestly, I would love to hear from you. But that’s going to do it for this episode. I hope you enjoyed it. And if you did, go ahead and smash that like button, leave a comment below, and of course, guys, please subscribe to the channel. Until next time, Nick fans, take care of yourself, your families, and each other. Peace and

THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE! The Knicks extended Mikal Bridges for less than his max extension level for financial flexibility & many of us believed that was the reason for the move. But recent reports indicate that may not have been the case. The latest reports suggest that NY received intel on Giannis Antetokounmpo and his trade status. After learning that Giannis will not request a trade out of Milwaukee, the Knicks pivoted and re-signed Bridges to a massive new deal… Troy Mahabir breaks all of this down!

  1. Giannis won’t request trade..
    yet…
If the Knicks make it to the Finals or win it all next season and Milwaukee barely makes it to the first round of the playoffs… I have a feeling that will change things.

  2. This is breaking news? If the Knicks just found out that Giannis wasn’t coming here…. Then we are in more trouble than we thought!!
    This management is a travesty!!

  3. Great move! Mikal going to have a great season like his Phoenix days. Troy,Intel sounds like CIA you're speaking about.😂

  4. DAMMIT!!!!
Giannis… …well, have fun in miserable-Milwaukee and remember that you had your chance to leave for NYC !!

  5. we dont need to break up the team the team is good the way it is 😂😂😂im good off Gianis 😊

  6. Giannis is wasting his time for no reason he should have requested a trade this year, he's being hard headed

  7. A Celtics fan page said Brad Steven’s is the best and showed Mikal and Derrick White contract. Like what’s the point of that post when Mikal took the ball from 2 of your best stars😭.

  8. I guess I respect the move if Giannis ain’t moving, but the question I have left who will get Knicks last vet roster spot, Shamet, Brogdon someone else? I need to know.

  9. Since the Knicks can't get Gainnis. Now the Knicks can focus on filling in the final player to their roster and finish finding their assistant coaches.
    That's all for now.

  10. One thing I've learned about this front office–amongst others–is this: NEVER say NEVER when it comes to saying they're done with trades. The offseason is the time to cook. Mitch could still be traded for the right package. They've got until the start of October, like last year.

  11. Well, I don’t like the Bridges signing. I understand it, but I don’t like it. We still need to get younger and more athletic. We struggled against younger and more athletic teams last season and we’ve done nothing to change that. Our young core isn’t as talented as one might think and I believe Bridges being moved could have changed that. I understand we’re in a win now mode but I’m looking at younger teams we have to contend with. In 2 years most of our team will be over 30 while some of the others will be in their 20’s. But we will see.

  12. Thank you Giannis for making it clear you didn't want to come NY. But NY will win the Championship and will have the last laugh…..

  13. Who needs Giannis? we got KAT, who looks in great shape. Let Giannis stay in "Who cares" Milwaukee. Doesn't have the belly to play in the MECCA!

  14. The Knicks have sunk their future in Bridges, a very good, solid 4th option player but not an all star worth all that.

Knicks will never win a ring.
